Lobster noodles was the standout dish. The lobster was huge and the portion was perfect for sharing. Best to come with a group or family so you can order more dishes.
This place moved into a better location because now there is more parking, and more seating available. The food is still really good. You have to get the lobster with the noodles. You probably Lu know that everything else is good as well, but there is a reason the restaurant is called Boston Lobster. Clams in black bean sauce were good too. Service is attentive and they come out every once in a while to refill your tea and give you fresh plates. Will keep coming here because the quality is still good after all these years and hard to do in a newer and bigger location.
This establishment offers an exceptional dining experience. My family and I recently enjoyed dinner here, and the cuisine was truly outstanding. Despite what appeared to be a busy evening for the kitchen, the deliberate pacing of each dish allowed us to savor every aspect of the meal. We eagerly anticipate our return and wholeheartedly endorse this restaurant. A minor concern was the presence of individuals smoking near the entrance, which could be noticeable from nearby tables.
Visited here today for lunch and they had lunch specials. Clams with black pepper is great and tasted fresh. I also ordered the fried shrimp with salt and pepper, pork chops, fish fillets with basil, fried fish, Hong Kong noodles and of course the garlic lobster with scallions and ginger with noodles, the highlight, 4lbs lobster which was full with roe, ginger and scallions. A lot of parking lots but might be full on the weekend! Highly recommended,💯👍🏻
Boston Lobster Seafood is one of my dad's all-time favorite restaurants, and we will drive out of our way to eat here! We were on an LA trip and made the drive over to BLS around 12:15 on a Sunday. We probably 30-40 minutes for a table - came in at number 71 and we were 79. The parking lot is large but was already full by 12:15. Safe to say, it's best to get to the restaurant early on weekends. Between 3 people, we ordered the sauteed garlic pea tops and 4 lb lobster garlic noodles, which arrived quickly and gave us leftovers for another meal. It was my first time, and the lobster noodles were totally worth the wait! I can see why my dad drives out of his way for it. Service is quick and attentive. Important to arrive early and pick up a number at the front right away. 170$ before tip for 3 people including leftovers for lobster noodles, garlic pea tops, and rice.
Went here on a weekday on Monday and had their lunch special right before they switched over to dinner. Clams with basil were great and tasted fresh. We also had the fried shrimp with salt and pepper. Of course no visit would be complete without the garlic lobster with scallions and ginger with noodle. Waiter choose a 4lb lobster which was full with roe and scallions. Delicious and plenty to bring home for the second course the next day. The noodles taste even better when they absorb all of the juices and oils. This place has been updated to larger and better parking in the rear too!
The lobster was great! Get the house special and you won’t be disappointed! The sauce compliments the lobster well! I had it with muscles, shrimp and the soup and I was full! The price is fair and the location is nice. The bathrooms were clean and the parking was abundant. I would recommend this place over any other “5 star” influencer recommendation any day!
Absolutely recommend Boston Lobster. On our way to Blue Heaven on Earth (aka Chavez Ravine) we wanted a seafood restaurant. Yelp delivers again. The ratings don’t lie. Location is nostalgic for me but that was then. The place is clean and welcoming. Classy first impression. The decor is subtle elegance. The selection of dishes looks amazing and the table next to us had quite the spread. The staff was super friendly. The kung kao squid was fabulous and has become my favorite. Wifey ordered the cashew shrimp and it was solid. The quality of the food is hard to describe. We ate most of the two dishes we ordered l plus rice and tea but we didn’t feel stuffed nor did we have any linger flavors so my best description is that the taste is sublime. You will enjoy. As we were leaving I notice one of the staff pulling stems from a large pile of greens so it reassured me that their food prep is done right. Boston Lobster we will be back soon.
This is my first time dining in at their new location. Parking is very easy. They have a lot of space behind the restaurant. I got here at 2pm, and the restaurant was not very busy. I was seated right away. I ordered a small house special lobster with noodles. The plate was huge. The lobster meat is very flavorful, fresh, and tender. The server also brought us rice. I asked for mild spiciness, and would suggest medium next time. We could not finish all the food, and have to pack them to-go. It was a little pricy in my opinion. However, it worth the money you paid. Service was prompt, and server changed our plates when he saw our plate was full of lobster shells. The server offered us oranges slices at the end of the meal. I will come back again.
We were delighted to discover an abundance of parking. The interior design was modern and spacious. The restaurant featured aquariums with live lobsters and fish, and complimentary tea service was provided. During my initial visit, I savored the white rice and vegetables. My wife particularly enjoyed the shrimp walnut dish. The house specialty lobster dish boasted impressive flavor, albeit with slightly firm lobster meat. The noodles, conversely, were delightfully soft.
I probably will never forget my experience to Boston seafood, have been wanting to try their lobster noodles and it did not disappoint. The size of it probably can serve half a dozen people. The flavour reminds me so much of Hong Kong seafood. The vege were fried perfectly and the clams was juicy and fresh. Highly recommend if you have cravings for some seafood cooked in oriental style. The servers were so attentive and kept on checking if we are okay and if the food is good for us. Great Chinese restaurant vibes.

Really good food. I'm not sure if this is normal tho, but the steamed fish we ordered came out when our meal was pretty much over. Rice was already cold and some of us were finished with dinner. Was not a busy night either. Random Thursday dinner. The non seafood dishes are reasonably priced and delicious as well. Overall a good time except for the steamed fish that came out nearly 45 minutes later.
Ordered the garlic crab with noodles instead of lobster, 2.5 pounds for $65 not bad and tasted great. We also ordered the wild caught fish, Turbot, which cost us 50% more for the same 2.5 pounds 😳 it was delicious 🤤… not sure I would reorder the fish. We ordered a couple more items for group of three, had a lovely lunch!
The portions are huge here, which is tough to fully enjoy the variety of dishes being served with a small group of people. The price on the House Lobster Special is also dependent on the weight of the lobsters available at the time, which happened to be 4 lbs. But there is no way of finding out if that’s the smallest size available. The lobster itself was delicious with the typical Cantonese style. You can also add a side of Yee Mein (noodles) to accompany the dish. We ordered some veggies and beef as well. The $1 charge for a bowl of rice was very reasonable. Needless to say, the three of us were very full after this meal with enough to take home.
Always a classic Chinese/Vietnamese seafood restaurant. You really can't go wrong with this place. They have a big selection of fresh seafood and a variety of dishes that would suit the whole family. They also offer good value meal sets. The restaurant is good for big parties/events or just a simple dinner. There's adequate parking, but it can be difficult during the weekends.

The food was a bit salty and the favor was overpowering.. not a long wait which was a good thing. Overall, it was an ok experience.

We go there on holidays and we paid full price but we have to ask for every single thing like soy sauce, pepper bowl plate spoon water cup and napkins...waiter pass by back and forth and no one ask…
The day we went with out of town guests they were extremely business and appeared short staffed. We placed an extra order and waited 45 minutes and never came we flagged a service to check on our order and was told that the chef said its not a priority as there are other orders and if we want it we need to wait another 25 minutes or so. Very very disappointed. If you order the family sets it appears to be served in smaller plates. The lobster is an add on. Originally am told they only have 5lbs and over this does not look 5lbs. Feels like we can ripped off.
