The wrinkle room is the place to be if you want to get drunk at 10 a.m. on a Monday. Look for Megan drinking mimosas she gives great winks! Let's start by saying...it's a dive! Stopped in a few times to see local talent play. Stopped in a few times for drinks after work. Stopped in a few times for lunch and breakfast since it is close and an option. The live talent on Monday night is always on par!!! Actually, Ace-in-hole!!! The live talent is excellent. The same goes for the service! I know things can get busy here. So, I try to be as clear and succinct as possible when ordering from the menu or when ordering drinks. I'm in a hurry. They're in a hurry. I'm hoping they respect my time as much as I respect theirs. Well, today, my bartender Ashley was excellent! Greeted my grumpiness with a smile and cheerful, "Hello." Gave me a minute to get situated and came back around for my order. I'm always very specific to save time and reduce confusion. Gave her my drink order, and for the 1st time in this bar, this was the only bartender that did not ask for clarification. She returned with my order in hand, and it was perfect! Anyway, I just want to say Thank You Ashley!!! You made my day!!! Btw....Double Tito's, soda, lime, tall with a splash of cran. I believe that is pretty clear and succinct and saves us all time and frustration. Sincerely, Thank you!!!

Went there to celebrate my birthday. This was recommended by my coworkers as the best place to go. And it was. Not overly crowded, has a great enclosed side room with dart board. Great area for a large group of people. Bartenders were the best I've seen in a long time with awesome mixology skills. Highly recommend going here for ANY reason.

The crowd is fun, chill and the music is great! The karaoke is good just too many people so it’s hard for the karaoke dj to please everyone. The drinks are FANTASTIC! would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes karaoke and just wants to get out and have a great time.

Wow! I was totally shoced at how good the food was. We were with a party of 10 and everybody's food was excellent and reasonable prices. Well priced mixed drinks and 16 oz glass of Pabst for $2!! The food was shockingly good. I got the BBQ burger, 1/2 pound patty with plenty of bbq sauce, onion ring, cheese, and all the fixings. Honestly the best burger I've had in awhile. My friends got the pulled pork sandwich and the nachos and they enjoyed theirs just as much as I did. Would definitely recommend. I was here around 1 pm and there was about 5 or 6 regulars who were all pretty relaxed and friendly. Staff was pleasant and attentive.

Perfect local hideaway bar to collect your thoughts and hang. The karaoke night is wholesome and full of regulars who love to sing and dance, and socialize with friends. Very few aspiring professional vocalists attend which makes the atmosphere more easy-going, sincere, and fun.

I'm not sure why Google says this is "usual pub grub". There's your usual pub items, yes. But the menu boasts Prime Rib with sides of a baked potato and a salad and a 16 oz Rib Eye. I don't know of any other place that asks you how you like your steak, even if you order the steak salad! Pub grub my ass! As everyone has stated, the staff is amazing. I read the reviews before I came here and was shocked how good they were. I had driven past this place for years and chalked it up to just another dive bar so I never entered. I heard about the "older" crowd and decor and shied away. My mistake. Let me tell you what, I've been doing karaoke for more than 20 years both as a vocalist and a KJ and bartender and I have seen it ALL in the way of bar scenes. This place is a rock-solid neighborhood bar. I can't call it a dive because although the interior is a bit dated, it's ALWAYS clean. Yes, they don't have top shelf for most alcoholic options but they do have great prices for good beer and booze options, better than you'd expect food (The BBQ Burger is SERIOUS), Top Notch service (Gina is a bar maid Queen - never a dry glass, always thinking ahead and a sweetheart to boot), there's a smoke room (So nice not to be banished outside!) and the vibe? FUN!!! My wife and I have been coming here for 2 months now and become regulars, I even held my birthday here and all my friends that have come out say the same thing - "This place is great!!!" This is old school folks but in the best way possible. People are here to sing and dance and support those with the courage to do either. There's no frills and no boneheads (I have not see anything negative pop off here once), the staff are cool and friendly and the place is always busy but not overcrowded. If you're looking for filet mignon, high end martini's and an overall "Millennial" experience this is not that. So to those hating - Put away your age-ism, embrace the vibe and look around this spot, these people understand how to enjoy themselves, support others and be friendly. It's how karaoke should be and Almond Tree is something to be cherished for it's realness. If I want a crowded, loud mouthed, wannabe frat boy and "I'm young, drunk and stupid" girl thing - I'd go somewhere else trendy and lame and more divey. If you want to have a good time with real, down home folks who know how to behave and know each other by name - this is the spot for you. The karaoke is really good. I'm talking good vocalists who know what they are doing and Bill is a great KJ who is fair, funny and keeps the place moving. I have to give my new neighborhood bar 5 stars!!

it was late night and my family was really hungry. if I didn't step in, it was going to be another Fisherman Wharf incident. My sis made a suggestion of this establishment but was wary of a place that had so many items on the menu, but I told her it could be a good thing and she should read the reviews. My idea was brilliant and she was convinced to give the Almond Tree Grill and Lounge a try... boy was it a good idea. The food was delicious and service was wonderful. You get big portions of everything and the price was alllllllllllriiiight!!!! You will leave with a full gut. The service by a young woman, attentive, professional, courteous, and super cute. A++++ I did not visit the lounge but maybe later if passing through. My sis peek in and said it look cool though. Anyways stop bye and have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I think you will love it! I can confirmed we had the country fried steak, shrimp, biscuit and gravy, bacon cheeseburger, omelette, and eggs and biscuits off the senior menu. Everyone loved it. Try it for yourself and see if you will love the food too.

Went twice. Once on a Friday night. The door attendant said it was packed so I couldn't get on but I like to talk. After asking about the club from the attendant for several minutes the attendant let me in. The place was packed, no seats. Standing by entrance and bar some nice young lady offer me a spot next to a new friend named Jean. 😀 Moved in so could read the screen and sing along later. Sunday night 🌙, the second time to the club, I sang with the others and twice on the 🎤🎙. Now I can't even talk. Tooooo much fun for a 70 year old man. Coming back

We like going there for Happy Hour, good food and drinks. Last nite we had a party of 6 but had to leave even tho we wanted to stay and visit because the music was so loud we could not visit with each other. Sorry , but the place is to small for that loud of music. Maybe later in the evening after a few more drinks. We will be back and try it again tho. Hope the management may consider this. Thanks.

Steak sandwich to go was good. Kinda sloppy and not looking to appetizing. Maybe because the bar area was gross and dirty and while waiting for my sandwiches, I watched a customer puke all over the front of the bar. Then his friend came out and they peeled out all over the parking lot waisted and drove off waisted. I probably won't go back. 40 bucks for a couple of steak sandwiches that were sloppy and thrown together. I was turned off.....

This is a pretty much throwback style restaurant Steakhouse Bar kind of situation. If you were alive in the 70s you've seen something like it. It's a little bit Smoky smelling and they still have a smoking section that you can see from the inside and so it kind of bleeds over into the restaurant. The food prices are good and the food is not bad and the drinks are of what you expect

Went in for dinner I think all the employees had been dipping in the sauce they could barely understand anything we ask for.we have had the rib eye dinner before this everything was great not so this time the steak was cold and dry this made me sad question why have all the older restaurant gone to hell in a hand basket

Although my group had a fun time socializing and meeting others in the bar, the dj told us it was going to be a 30 min wait for our names to be called for karaoke. We saw multiple people go before us who had got there afterwards and some people even went twice before we even got called up. It was 2.5 hours before one of us even got called up. He was very unfair when it came to the line up and who was next. At one point maybe friends name was up for singing 2nd and then all of a sudden his name was just gone. I confronted the dj and he said that he is four away and then he will be next. If it wasn’t for that, it would have been at least 4-5 stars.

We have two professional DJ's in the family so we get the music and volume thing,. Their DJ never once checked sound from the back of the room, just kept turning it up. Unfortunate. Weak at best. This place used to be known as a local dive bar that offered excellent value on beverages at a bargain price. Upon latest visit prices have skyrocketed and service is lacking. If you like to listen to kareoke but not sing, pay top prices for drinks with little selection of draft beers with no craft brews, than this might be the place for you. But if you sing karaoke and haven't been there, forget it. As others have already mentioned you can sign up for karaoke and wait patiently while "the selected singers" get to perform 2 or more times before you. I asked the guy running the karaoke politely how long it takes normally to be able to sing a song there and he gave me a dirty look and replied as long as the list is which is bs since the rotated through list 2x An hour before this while I was waiting he was calling for specific singers he wanted saying he needed more sign ups. He had no clue how good I was but I was not going to sing dance music and I think that was all he was interested. I sing regularly both in a band and with karaoke. How this place is termed "the best Karaoke spot in blah blah land" is beyond me. Its staged and choreographed. If you want real live karaoke that comes with everything live including the back up band, (no sound recordings) go to the Powerhouse in Folsom on Tuesday nites. Way better and easy to get on the list and sing. And they have some really dynamite singers including a dynamite band!

My boyfriend came home last night said someone had put some kind of drugs in his beer He had to stay in his truck for 2 hours before he could drive home He was in bad shape only had two beers and a shot in 2 hours

When I called the next day they said my jacket was not there so an employee jacked my jacket! It's a very popular place for karaoke. If you want to come and listen, it's great. If you want to sing then don't go. The KJ plays favorites and let's the regulars sing multiple times before he puts you up. I have gone 3 different times to try to sing and gave up and left every time. If you're new to the area or just visiting then be prepared to sit and wait for at least 2 hours to sing 1 song.
