After visiting for the first time in years, I can say that Outback holds up! Lauren was an excellent server and made sure we had everything we need.

We came to experience the Aussie, Aussie, Aussie special, a 3 course meal which provided plenty of options to choose from AND as we were walking in they had an “A sign” promoting free blooming onion with bottle of wine which we could not resist. The food was amazing, steak cooked to perfection and so were the ribs. The chocolate thunder down under dessert is a magical brownie with pistachios and ice cream and the works, very much worth the $3 upgrade. All these flavors and ambience were made significantly better by our fresh out of training star waiter Matthew who is service oriented and on the ball. Matthew definitely made our dining experience more enjoyable, he master being accessible and present without hovering. Service with a smile from the minute we walked in till departure and that includes the young lady who assisted bringing our food to the dessert delivery gentleman. We love this place!

Had dinner recently at the Outback Steakhouse on Sunrise blvd. @ Douglas, in Roseville, with my wife and son. We were enticed by the special they were running for a filet, shrimp, and scallops for @ $39. It was dinner time @ 630pm. There was a thirty minute wait, and immediate seating in the bar! We chose the latter.🙂 We were greeted by Jocelyn and Brianna, who were great bartenders/servers. Attentive, helpful, friendly, everything a customer loves! The bar was comfortable, the Olympics and SF Giants vs Oakland A's was on the TVs. The perfect environment to enjoy a Foster's (Australian for beer) on tap! It was a light beer with body equal to Sapporo, or Fat Tire. It was cold, in an icy mug, my wife had a chardonay. My wife had the special with a lobster tail substituted for the filet (surprise! less $ than the filet) She said from very best to best: scallops>lobster>shrimp. My son and I had the 13oz. Ribeye. I had brocolli, he had Caesar salad, my wife the garden salad. We all had the baked potatoe with the works. I asked for mine on the side. The ribeye was cooked to perfection! I recommend it. It was bigger than 13.oz🥰 Jocelyn shared some highlights of her recent travels and surprised us with a dessert to share! It was a delicious dinner that made a perfect night out!😋🥳🙂🙏. My fiancé and I just got engaged and decided to come to outback for a steak lunch. Our waitress (Jolene) was super nice and reassuring. She came back and check in on us and how our dinner was going. When our steaks came out, my fiancé's steak was cook to a beautiful medium rare and my bone in ribeye was more like a medium well done which I wanted a medium rare. When Jolene came back to check in our us, I was hesitant to let her know but she can tell something was wrong. I told her about the steak and I didn't want to waste an expensive piece of steak. Ultimately, her manager came by and got my steak redone and it was delicious and cooked the way I like it. It was such excellent service. The staff really wants to make sure your experience is an awesome.

I had the pleasure of dining at Outback Steakhouse in Roseville, CA and I was not disappointed. The friendly staff made sure that all my needs were taken care of and I felt more than welcome. The food was excellent - starting with their famous blooming onion served with a zesty sauce, it was enough to make my mouth water! Their wedge salad was also delicious and the combination of blue cheese, balsamic and bacon was a match made in heaven. For main course, I had their coconut shrimp with a citrus dipping sauce - it was cooked to perfection! On top of that, their steak was cooked just how I like it - juicy yet still pink in the center. To round off my meal, I ordered a creamy mashed potato side dish which complimented everything else perfectly. Overall, Outback Steakhouse in Roseville is an amazing restaurant experience that you cannot miss out on! Their perfect blend of flavors, service and atmosphere make for an unforgettable night out. I will definitely be returning soon and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exquisite meal.

Excellent hostess and wait staff. Moderate lighting and ample seating for a small restaurant. Hearty meals (chicken, hamburgers, steak, etc.) with two side dishes. The food and service are always exceptionally great, but the prices are a bit expensive.

The Outback Steakhouse in Roseville, CA was spectacular on Veterans Day 2025. They offered a free meal on a limited but still tasty menu entre along with a small sized dessert. Their dessert was so popular that they ran out ans all they had remaining was a Brownie Ice Cream Sundae. On Veterans Day, restaurants are always packed and when they gave me the estimated tine frame for a seat in their restaurant, it was relatively on schedule an hour wait time. I give The Outback Steakhouse in Roseville at 5 of 5 Stars, which is a no-brainer since supporting Veterans ans Active Service Duty members of our Armed Forces. Which is always the 5th Star. I and my family enjoyed the service and food. Thank you.

My girlfriend and I went on valentines night and we had an amazing time the food was delicious!!!Our server Eve was so so amazing she was so attentive even though the restaurant was packed!!! She made sure we had everything we needed at all times!! Not once did our drinks get empty even at the end we got Togo drinks for the drive home!!!!! She is definitely made to be in the customer service business. Everyone at the restaurant was so nice and the wait was only 10 minutes even though we were told it was going to be longer. Lastly the bathroom was very nice and clean. This meal was worth every single penny!!!!

Our experience at this restaurant was really good, especially since it was our first time being here. Once we ordered our appetizer, we got it within 10 minutes of us ordering it. The waitress, Abigail, was very friendly and professional with helping us with our experience. She gave recommendations on what to try and was always available if and when we needed her. Next time we come here we will definitely ask for her.

The server didn't offer us bread but we didn't realize it till we saw others getting theirs after we ate. I asked our server and he just said we didn't ask so he didn't bother. Hmmmm. And I guess we are being pushed everywhere we go to tip, tip, tip higher and higher. The auto tip starts at 18% and goes up. I love to support our servers but come on folks, what happened to 15% and a little extra on occasion for super service. Wish I got tips when I worked my butt off for 40+ years.

When my boyfriend and I first visited, we had a very poor experience with our server, and I left feeling frustrated and honestly ready to never come back. I even had a whole review typed up in my drafts because I was that disappointed. But before posting it, I reached out and I’m so glad I did. From the moment we spoke with Briana G. , the manager, the entire energy shifted. She treated us with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. She listened, she understood, and she went out of her way to make things right. The team member assisting us during our initial encounter (I wish I caught her name!) was equally warm and helpful as well . Their approach made it very clear that my first experience with the rude server wasn’t a reflection of the whole Outback team. I’m a big believer in acknowledging when people go above and beyond, and the way they handled everything completely restored my faith in this location. Instead of letting one person’s mistake define my view, Briana and her staff showed me why this Outback still deserves five stars ! My boyfriend and I are already planning our return this weekend and yes, I already know exactly what I’m ordering. 😄 Sometimes it’s not about a perfect first impression, but about how a business chooses to make it right. We were going to go to Cattlemens, but it their line was too long, and i haven’t been here in years but now I think this is one of our top favorites. Was surprised by all there steak options. My husband and I came here for Valentines Day this year and it was a fantastic experience. Contrary to some restaurants that make you feel pressured to leave as soon as you’re done. Outback always makes you feel welcome. Our sever Mateo was great as well and was very attentive to our needs. Also, if you get the Koala Punch you get a cute little Koala Duck.

My husband loved the new quesadila they have. Food arrived quick but service left us feeling like we'd been forgotten about somewhat. I think they need a second waiter at that time. (1pm on a Sunday) I didn't care the the overpriced shrimp and pasta dish. Sauce was too oily and for the price it should have more shrimp.

First time at this location. I frequent the Sac location by Howe more often but tried this one out. While the service is great and the food came out quickly, I feel like it's not what it should be. I always get the surf and turf combo each time. I always order medium rare but it's slightly overcooked, which is fine. But everything is really bland for some strange reason. The butter wasn't melted all the way down either but again not an issue. My only real gripe is the cleanliness of the restaurant. I sat at a booth and the floors felt sticky along with the chairs and table. Staff was great and friendly but the space could use a little cleaning for sure. Overall not a bad experience but it could be a lot better.

The service was "standard", nothing better or worse than expected. The wait time for the food to arrive was longer than expected. The food ordered was disappointing; (1) a steak and shrimp plate with two sides; broccoli, and a baked potato. (2) A Cobb salad. The steak was overcooked from medium to hockey-puck well done. The steak and potato were cold and the shrimp were dry. The “Aussie Cobb Salad” was not a Cobb salad. Instead, it was just an iceberg salad with cut cherry tomatoes, croutons with cold cut pieces of battered fried chicken. I've eaten Cobb salads before. And anyone who has done so will agree that a Cobb salad usually includes bacon, hard-boiled eggs, crumbled blue cheese, ham, grilled chicken, avocado, green onions, and or chives. We are sorry to say that we can not recommend this Outback Steakhouse, and that we will not be coming back.

We here for dinner on a Friday (10/14). It was for a birthday dinner with 12 guests. Had reservations at 5:30, got seated around 5:50-ish or so. They had combined 3 small tables to create one long table. Table space was VERY cramped, couldn’t fit all 12 of us so we ended up taking the next table over. We ordered cocktails and steaks. Service was good. But the food was disappointing. Probably half of the steaks were from a poor cut with tons of fat. The cooking temperature was not what we asked for either. Came out undercooked for some. Mashed potatoes were too buttery. The soup and salads were good. Cocktails were good. Overall, the food was a disappointment. Not what we expected for a steak dinner. Would probably not come back here but try a different Outback instead.

I arrived early to enjoy a beer before my party arrived and waited 20 minutes before even being acknowledged and then watched my beer sit while the bartender took two other tablets... clearly they need more staff or someone who can micro manage

Unfortunately we had to worst experience last night for Valentine’s Day. Once seated our waitress took our drink order and told us she was leaving and someone else would be taking over. Over 30 minutes later she walked by and saw we hadn’t received any bread and my kids needed refills. Several minutes went by and three tables seated after us had received their food. Our new waiter who was servicing other tables around us came to take our order. When it arrived 30-40 mins later my sons order was incorrect and my $40 steak and sides and my kids meals were cold and appeared to have been sitting for a long time. To avoid waiting another 45mins to an hour to get food replaced we decided to try and eat it and or waste it. Fortunately you can pay at the table so you can leave when your ready. I know Outback isn’t a high-end steakhouse but it was the best place for affordability with the kids. Unfortunately the Outback closer to our house which was way cleaner than the Sunrise one, closed down so we have to drive an hour if we want to take the kids there. After last night unless they make some serious changes in service, cleanliness, and food quality we will not return and tell everyone to avoid this Outback location.

Two people at our table were served sirloin instead of the filet mignon we ordered. The waitress brought the food and asked who ordered sirloin and Mac & cheese. I said I ordered filet mignon and she returned the plate to the serving tray. Along comes our waiter and he promptly picks up said plate and serves it to me. The guest next to me was served sirloin also instead of the mignon ordered. No mention was made of this and we were both charged the price for mignon. This was a 15 guest party so I said nothing. Waiter was very busy with 15 people. Tacky Tacky Outback. I won’t prattle on about the MSG on the food, just know I am severely allergic. I am sick as a dog today. BTW outback you are poisoning your guests with that stuff. May as well spray it with roundup !

Genuinely the worst experience I've had with any waiter. The waitress came out already mad with an attitude, and asked us all for what drinks we wanted. She then proceeded to mess up the drink order and only bring out 1 straw for the 8 drinks? She never gave us more straws, the food runner had to get them for us. The waitress then proceeded to smack my house salad on the table, making a couple croutons fly off and never apologized. After, when I asked for Tabasco, she came back with Tabasco in a sauce cup filled about 1/10 of the way for a 13 ounce steak! Honestly the worst experience here, do not recommend. The food runner was the sweetest though!
