Wow, so glad we came. Wonderful breakfast and fantastic prices. The five items for $11 is all you'll ever need, so many options with all the good stuff. Every dish that came out looked amazing, especially the bacon.

I have been there 3 times and enjoyed my food. Ordered 2 scrambled eggs but probably got 3 or 4 eggs. For lunch ....best french fries!

I am normally very picky about things, but when I took a bite of the Country Scramble it was freaking amazing. I am pretty sure it was the gravy that did so I recommend anything with the gravy. I also added cheese.

In this economy, this is the place to go. By far the best priced meals you can find. Not a huge selection of stuff but that’s no big deal. Delicious food and great portions. Little to no wait time to get a table. Servers may be all over the place but get off your high horse and call one over.

This might be our new Breakfast Go To! The omelets were tasty- with fresh veggies and excellent sausage. The hash browns were crispy and the bacon was perfectly crispy. Huge portions and attentive service.

First time visit Rowlett Cafe. Service was great. Very clean dining room. Our server was very friendly and courteous. The food was great and you get quite a bit for what you get. Will definitely add this to our rotation of breakfast restaurants. Keep up the great work!!

If I’m going to spend $8 on a chicken sandwich, I’m coming here, not those fast food places. Even when the place was nearly full, service was prompt and polite. Nice addition to the town.

If you are looking for a great comfort food place, then, look no further. Food portions and taste of the food are very good.. Its not the prettiest place but the food and service more than compensate. Very nice staff!

This was my first visit to Rowlett Cafe, but I am not a stranger to this particular location. I must have visited each of the many different restaurants that have existed in these walls. I have to say that this time they may succeed where so many others have failed. The atmosphere is welcoming, the space is airy, the place is clean, the employees are welcoming and attentive. The menu is varied, although I would have wanted onion rings... I am very picky about my coleslaw and theirs was very good. We had lunch, I had a patty melt and my husband had a philly cheesesteak sandwich. Both were very good, served promptly, were fresh and very tasty. Overall, the experience was pleasant. We will definitely return and try their breakfasts as I saw someone with some delicious looking pancakes that were pretty tempting. Next time...

As soon as the plates hit the table, I dug in. Looked to delicious to wait, forgot to take the picture. Definitely, recommend this place to grab breakfast. Need to try lunch next!!

Karen is our waitress of choice. She has our tea made perfectly every morning she's working as we walk in. Practically knows our order but always provides a clean menu. Food breakfast and lunch are delicious. Have not missed a day of dining there since we were introduced to this café by our pastor. Shout out to both Rowlett Cafe and FBC Rowlett.

The food was so good we forgot to take a picture. Service was great. This place is owned by Garland Cafe but it's better.

This was a fellowship outing for our church. Upon arrival we were greeted with respect and courtesy. The pepper gravy and the grilled onions was Divine. I loved the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes.

Absolutely love this place. The food is phenomenal and the service is quick and friendly. Biscuit Sausage Gravy plate is my favorite but there hasn't been anything that we've tried that we didn't love.

WOW! What a great find! We had lunch here yesterday and were just delighted with this little cafe. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the price was affordable. As we walked out, I saw the meals that other patrons were enjoying and I am already planning my next visit.

I ordered the 2 meats and 2 sides deal for just $9, and it even came with pancakes—now that’s a plate worth bragging about. When we first arrived, it took a little while for someone to get to us, but I quickly realized why. The place was absolutely packed! A friend who goes often mentioned that mornings around 7am are usually less busy, so being there at 10:30am explained the crowd. Once our server got to us, though, things turned around quickly—our food was on the table within 12 minutes. Every bite was satisfying, the atmosphere was lively, and despite the wait at the start, I walked away with a smile. Everything came out hot. Staff checked on us regularly, never had to wait for a refill. We are excited to try their lunch menu soon.

A little more warmth in the space wouldn’t hurt as they continue to settle in. The service was friendly while getting the hang of things. As with any new place, I’d recommend being patient while the staff finds their rhythm. That said, what’s most important to me at a restaurant is the food. And the food stood out—sometimes diner food can be hit or miss, but this was definitely a hit. We tried the pancakes, chicken fried chicken, and the build-your-own breakfast, and everything was delicious. The build-your-own breakfast was nice, with the ability to pick up to five items at a set price, it was a unique feature that made the meal feel customizable and worth the price. We’ve generally patronized Hubbards for diner food in Rowlett, but the family agreed to have actually preferred the food here over Hubbards. One small note: our waitress didn’t check in with us as often as we'd have liked, and we didn’t know you don’t get the check at the table, you walk up to the register and tell them your table number to pay. Also, all of January, all checks are 20% off. Overall, we had a great time, and I hope this diner gets a lot of success. Please visit this place, we highly recommend it. It’s a great addition to the area, and I look forward to seeing how it evolves. Best of luck to them!

First, all food we ordered was well prepared. Veggie egg scramble and fresh fruit, chicken fried steak. The veggies and fruit were super fresh. The sides are ample in size and coffee is fresh. They do NOT use plastic plates thank goodness! The staff were all very kind and service was excellent.

I cant even begin to tell you how this place has changed me. I was down, homeless, addicted to online gambling and huffing paint thinner. One day I was walking the streets with no semblance of hope in my heart. I was ready to give it all up. And then, like an angel descending from the heavens gleamed a sign saying “Rowlett Cafe”. I went in, ordered the “5 items for $11”deal and thought, ‘this place cant be real’ and being in as much debt as the country of Somalia, I figured there was no way my luck would start working here. But the food came, and boy was I wrong. The flavors were just divine. I wept. I haven’t shed tears like those since my wife passed back in ‘Nam. It was glorious. Since then I have gone back every week. Because of this establishment, I am up $1.8M at the casino! Let me tell you man I have had meals here better than entire years of my life. Just goes to show you - 99% of gamblers quit right before they win big. And if I were you, I’d bet on Rowlett Cafe.😉

This is my new breakfast spot and they are also open thru lunch (close at 2:30 pm daily). The food is fresh, and they have an excellent assortment of breakfast specials. Give them a try.

Excellent place to have a meal. My brother and I went for lunch, and they did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. They even accommodated my gluten-free request on the toast. I will be taking my hubby there very soon to give it a try. Go try it for yourself!

Service is a little slow. Almost 10 minutes to get our drinks. 2 hours to eat breakfast with only 5 other tables in the restaurant seems like a lot. The food IS worth the wait. Maybe it was just bad this time -; the waiting part.

My wife and I went to Rowlett Cafe and it was OK.. it the best or worse. I am thinking it is A carte. I had a bacon English muffin and my wife had a breakfast burrito. My opinion with the owner, what you need to do with one item then don't give a big plate. Need to use a small plate and it looks like bigger sandwich (an illusion).

The booth seats were way to far from the table as if they were designed for fat people. The menu is very simple and not extensive, not many options.

First time here. I got a club sandwich and fries to go. Club sandwich was terrible. First, the tomatoe slices were about an inch wide making it impossible to pick the sandwich up. Second, the ham was cold and looked like they just got it out of a package, not even cooked. Third, the fries were mushy and not done all the way. Won't go back. Thumbs down. The staff was nice
