Delightful restaurant tucked away far from the major freeways. The menu was extensive and service friendly. One of the workers was singing karaoke while the other waited on us. Food was tasty and the prices fair. Huge space, so would be viable for large groups. Not easy to find this type of food, so a nice surprise.

Great Moldovan restaurant with authentic, delicious food. The live music adds a really nice touch and makes the place feel atmospheric and lively. Service is friendly, and the prices are totally reasonable. Definitely worth a visit if you want something different and genuinely tasty.

This place doesn't look like anything on the outside. It's in an old strip mall across the road from brand new restaurants. That being said, it is quite nice on the inside! It might not hit the marks of Fine Dining, but it is several steps above Fast Food and plenty nice to take a date. I personally am not very familiar with Eastern European foods, especially the Moldovan versions, but I will say that everyone in our group really enjoyed everything! The waitress was friendly and helpful. The ambiance was good. I do think it might have been slightly better by dimming the lights a bit and having some Traditional Maldovan Music. That being said, the place was immaculately clean and, while I might have notes, I don't have any actual complaints.

Great Restaurant with Delicious Food! We’ve tried many dishes at this restaurant, and all of them were delicious. I definitely recommend ordering their soups (Borscht, Solyanka, or Zeama) as we tried each one and they were all good. Zhulien was a great hot dish, though I would recommend ordering a side dish with it to make it more complete. The blini with meat and cheese were also very tasty. The Chicken Kiev was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The zucchini pancakes with salmon came in a generous portion and were really enjoyable.

Exceptional early Sunday dinner. Many families dining in the restaurant, great live music and good food. Started with a really good beef borscht, app of cabbage rolls and a sausage main. All drank with a Moldovan red wine that fit the meal. A sour cherry pastry for dessert. The sum was much more than the individual parts and made for a wonderful evening. Recommended.

I love this place. The ambiance, delicious food! and friendly service. What more can you ask for when looking for a place to eat. I like to try different cuisines and this was Moldovan, Eastern Europe. I had to go there twice just to try everything I wanted to try and still plan to stop by again as the food was really good. First time I went there, they had an event so I got my meal with the music and entertainment. I loved it 😍

Authentic tasty Eastern European food and ambiance. Schnitzel was the best main course, but pelmeni and lamb chops were also really good. Great for large and small parties. Friendly Russian speaking host!

Excellent cuisine from Eastern Europe. My family and I are from Ukraine and Belarus so we were able to enjoy the similar food. Nice atmosphere too. We went on a Saturday evening and there was live entertainment which I always appreciate.

Exceeded all my expectations... First time having borscht, or any Eastern European food. Baby they didn't disappoint. It was SO GOOD. Fresh, flavorful, marinated, seasoned, sharable portions, gorgeous live music. The pickled vegetables, mmm. The Tabaka Chicken...🥳🤎 the Napoleon dessert was light but quite substantial, you can split it IF you want to. I will be back. With friends. Believe that. 🫡

I found this restaurant randomly. I was very happy that finally I found European food. This was the best choice. For me food should have more spices because it was really delicate but despite that it was delicious. The waitress was sooo nice and helpful so my visit was even more pleasant. I definitely want to come back!

The food here was fantastic. We started with the Placinte w/Farmer Cheese, which was like this amazing layered bread with cheese in it. Best cheese bread I have ever had. Then we had the Pelmeni with beef and pork. They where pretty standard dumplings. I think I still prefer Asian dumplings but they where solid. My wife had the Polenta and Fried Pork. I tried a bite and it was very good. My son had the Mititei. They where just little sausages. I got the Tabaka Chicken and I think it was the best thing we had. The skin was crisp and full of flavor. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. This was my first experience with East European food and I was not disappointed. We ended with the Napoleon which was a layered cake with a tart flavor. Also there was a really great singer performing during dinner. This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in recent memory. I definitely recommend.

The food, just delicious: The cabbage rolls nearly melted in my mouth, and reminded me of a childhood meal. My dish, the Swai fillet, the fish was crispy on the outside, and tender and flaky on the inside; flavorful. So was the polenta and the garden salad. My partner did enjoy her Vareniki as well. The atmosphere is quaint, one side of the restaurant almost takes you back in time; we were captivated by the old fashioned decoration. We took notice of the performance stage on the other side, after enquiring we were told that they have live music on some Saturday evenings.

We visited Noroc Restaurant in Sacramento and absolutely loved it. We ordered zama, vareniki with cottage cheese (which I had been dreaming about lately), potatoes with meat, Chicken Kyiv, and placinta. Everything was incredibly delicious and cooked perfectly. I’m originally from Moldova, and the food tasted exactly like my mom’s cooking — comforting, authentic, and full of love. The flavors brought back so many memories of home. You can really feel that the food here is made with care and tradition. Highly recommend this place to anyone who misses Eastern European / Moldovan home-style food or simply wants to try something truly authentic. We will definitely be back!

Amazing food! My friend and I came here spur the moment for my birthday. And I am SO glad we did! It was so delicious! The food is flavorful and fresh! We got the schnitzel and the stuffed cabbage and chicken dumplings! OMG there was so much food and it was all so good! The dumplings were my favorite! The flavor was unique and exotic but at the same time comfortable and familiar. Savory was the word of the day! The schnitzel was cooked to perfection! Crisp and tender, we cut it with a fork! I can't wait to come back! Napoleon!!!! OMG enough said! Best Birthday Dessert I have ever had!

The most authentic food that tastes just like babushka made it. :) My parents are from Ukraine, with roots from Romania, Moldova, and other Eastern European places. I have traveled near and far, eating Russian and Ukrainian food that never quite tastes like home. I was excited to try Noroc, being right in my city and claiming to have the authenticity of food from the mother land. It did (and does not) disappoint. Every dish is like a hug from home. Flavors achieved perfectly as if the intuition of spices and ingredients combine from the heart like when my mom and grandmothers cook. It’s nostalgic and delicious and makes me proud to bring my American friends to try a taste of my upbringing. Thank you to the entire team of cooks and staff that make coming to Noroc like a visit home. Definitely try: Borstch (beer soup, fricking amazing) Veriniki and plemini (dumplings) Zucchini pancakes Blini (savory stuffed crepes) The Stuffed cabbage Beet salad And seriously all the desserts. Just get one of each.

I celebrated my anniversary at the NOROC restaurant and received a lot of positive impressions and emotions. The service and staff of the restaurant deserve all 5 stars. My guests and I were very pleased with the extremely delicious food and warm atmosphere. I would like to thank the owner of the restaurant Alex, who made a lot of efforts to make my celebration at the highest level. I recommend everyone to visit this wonderful restaurant.

My rating of 4 is only because I personally chose a non traditional meal. I should have ordered the borscht and pelmeni, my traditional favorites. Still the chicken skewers were flavorful and my daughter loved her chicken Kiev, and my sanpling of my son's schnitzel was memorable. So my 4 is only because no additional half stars allowed. Will come back again next time in town. Love the ambience inside.

The dishes are amazing and made to perfection. The decorations are awesome you get a sense that your in Eastern Europe. We got appetizer Zhulien freaking amazing, the dumpling were fantastic I felt like I was back in Kiev eating the dumplings, we also got the lamb stew, and for dessert blini cherry. Everything delicious.

Came with a group of friends to try out the restaurant. We were a big group and they were accommodating but our server was not super friendly. Maybe that's just her Personality. Food was tasty and they did do separate checks for our group. I had the Beef Stroganoff and a Coke to drink.

I wanted to introduce my husband to what I grew up eating in Romania. Upon entering, you notice it’s very clean and love all the decorations. There’s a certain part of the restaurant that practically looks like a museum, It’s all very immersive. Romanian food is authentic and truly amazing. Unfortunately, the service was non existent. I watched a few people leave because they were simply tired of waiting. But I was committed and waited for our food which did come out in a timely manner. I had to flag down a waitress for water and everything else (box, check etc) Overall great food, really reminds of my Oma’s cooking.
