Avaliações de Aioli Bodega Espanola Sacramento
Went here off a coworkers recommendation. We had the paella and all I can say is wow. It’s a huge portion that’s meant for two but could honestly feed more. It does take a while to make but that’s fine as we had drinks and an appetizer before the main meal came out. Perfect for date night 5/5
Came for the lunch and was impressed with the food and the service. Outdoor seating is comfortable and in a nice part of town. For under 25 bucks including tip it is slightly more expensive than other downtown lunch options but also a higher end option. Spanish vibes on point. Salmon and salad were both flavored perfectly, I enjoyed the caper sauce on the salmon. Great place for a business lunch.
This Spanish-inspired restaurant is a gem. The distinct flavors of each dish are rich and vibrant, complemented by stunning presentation. The service is attentive, and the relaxed atmosphere, filled with beautiful art, enhances the dining experience. A fantastic spot for delicious food in a charming setting!
We had such a lovely experience here for our team celebration lunch. Yolanda took good care of us, made helpful suggestions, and ensured we enjoyed ourselves. Every dish (we sampled alot of the menu) was delicious, and they had a large vegetarian and even vegan selection. Don't even think about skipping dessert. We will go back. Thank you for the wonderful time.
A couple of weeks ago, we finally visited Aioli Bodega Española in Sacramento, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The weather was perfect, so we grabbed a table in their relaxing backyard patio, which felt like the ideal setting for a slow evening. We began our meal with a pitcher of sangria and two tapas: Patatas Bravas, which are crispy potatoes with just the right amount of kick, and Pinchos Morunos, spiced skewers of meat. Both were delicious. We also ordered the soup of the day, which was warm, flavorful, and gone far too quickly. For the main course, the three of us shared a Paella Valenciana. Although it is technically meant for two, it turned out to be the perfect size for the three of us—just enough to satisfy without leaving us too full to enjoy dessert. We finished with a creamy flan, and I ended the night with a strong espresso, just how I like to cap off a good meal. The food was excellent across the board, and the service matched it—friendly without being rushed. The entire evening had a relaxed vibe, making the experience even better. As a little extra context, Aioli Bodega Española has been a Sacramento staple since the mid-1990s, run by Aziz Bellarbi Salah and his family. Their focus is on traditional Spanish dishes, especially tapas, paellas, and of course, sangria. It’s no wonder that the restaurant has endured for so long; it feels like a place that’s truly woven into the fabric of the neighborhood.
This has been my go-to lunch place for years! How can you top the lunch special where you choose from the fish, stew, or pasta that starts with a soup and ends with a dessert? Recently, I had a late lunch and had the restaurant to myself. It was magical. I highly recommend taking the time for yourself to treat yourself every now and again to some alone lunch time. So worth it. Especially here.
Absolutely fantastic experience at Aioli Bodega Española yesterday afternoon! My wife and I enjoyed a delightful selection of tapas and some wonderful wine. The food was truly excellent – bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. What really stood out was the exceptional service we received from Omer. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made our experience even more enjoyable. We also loved the relaxing atmosphere of the outdoor seating area. It was the perfect spot to unwind and savor the delicious food and drinks. We highly recommend Aioli Bodega Española and can't wait to return!
This is a nice place for Spanish-style food in a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. When busy, it’s a bit louder than I would like. On our first visit we had paella for two, and it was amazing. On this visit I had a lamb shank, and my wife had halibut. The shank was tender and mild flavored, and served with the bone in a vertical position, which was fun to see. We had a small arugula salad beforehand, which was fresh and tasty. The Rioja bottle of wine was pricey and delicious. Loved the small but perfectly soft flan with a darkly toasted Carmel sauce for dessert. The service was warm and professional. For me this is a nice place to relax and enjoy a special night out.
Aioli is a vibrant celebration of Spanish cuisine that never fails to impress! The warm, lively atmosphere pairs perfectly with the authentic flavors that transport you straight to the heart of Spain. Their paellas are simply phenomenal—rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, with every bite capturing the essence of this classic dish. And the mussels? An absolute must-try! Fresh, tender, and expertly seasoned, they’re a standout on an already exceptional menu. Whether you’re sipping on a glass of sangria or savoring their delicious tapas, Aioli delivers a dining experience that’s as unforgettable as it is delicious. Highly recommended for lovers of Spanish cuisine!
Fresh and tasty! This is my 3rd Spanish restaurant in Sacramento and Only this place brings me back to what I ate in Spain. They cooked octopus perfectly! It’s very very soft. If you cook the octopus a little bit long l, it’s tough to chew. If you cook less, it doesn’t absorb the spice and might have a fish smell. This was the best octopus! Mussels and paella are fresh and tasty too. A Server was nice enough and I enjoyed my meal quite well. Family friendly restaurants
Great home-like restaurant! It is very "warm" and peaceful inside ! You can meet the owner there. He will not only help you find a table, but he will try to find the best spot for you, and then he will definitely ask if you like everything, not once! It is very nice and you will feel that friendly atmosphere. The waiters are very helpful and fast. The food is absolutely fresh and delicious! Top notch restaurant! By the evening there are a lot of people, and the restaurant is not big, I advise you to make a reservation! I also advise you to go there during the warm weather to sit outside(courtyard). It's very romantic!
We were here on one of the Saturday nights to celebrate a friend's birthday. All the foods are delicious. The Paella Mariscos will take more time to cook, so we ordered it right after we were seated. I like the Cordero Basco which is a lamb chop. The lamb is so tender and flavored. Kids love the Patatas Bravas which is the grilled potato and the dessert, Flan. Overall all the food is good, and the service is good. Will come back.
Overall this is a great place. Service and atmosphere were pleasant. Having had a lot of Spanish food due to our heritage, we were very much looking forward to the food and felt that, even though it was good, it was not amazing. We ordered the patatas bravas, the gambas al ajillo, the seafood paella and the lamb chops. The potatoes and the lamb chops were great - but the gambas were a bit on the colder side. The paella was just underwhelming - not bad but not amazing. Overall would come back for a spanish food craving, service was great.
The food itself was delicious, the majority of meals on the menu are served at small portions, so you may need to order a lot to have your fill. Our waiter was very welcoming, but it seemed that if you weren't a regular, treatment towards the customer may be different. I wished him a goodnight, making eye contact, before leaving, but he was too preoccupied in greeting others merely walking past the restaurant.
My boyfriend and I had a pleasant evening for our dinner. We made reservations ahead of time but they were able to seat us earlier than that when we arrived early. Our server was friendly and attentive. The artwork throughout the restaurant was beautiful and reminiscent of the time we went to Spain. Our food arrived quickly and tasted exactly as I expected. I only rated it as a four because the food was good, but it wasn’t spectacular. It’s definitely worth trying out and a great place to bring a date.
This is a tricky one. The food tasted amazing but I ended up in the ER from ecoli. The spinach has got to be cooked better! The halibut was the best I ever had though. Ugh. Wow I had skipped the greens. The atmosphere was really nice but the crowd there was so extremely loud that we couldn’t hear eachother at all. And to the manager ~ it was the only place I had Warren out in the week I got sick so yes, sadly it was the dinner there. Super awful to have these hospital bills now and a week out of commission just before the holidays.
The experience was pretty average overall. The food was regular — nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. Presentation left a lot to be desired; the plates, cups, and cocktail glasses felt more like a casual café than a Spanish restaurant aiming for a quality dining experience. The menu was quite limited, with many items feeling repetitive. While the prices aren’t extremely high, they don’t match the quality you’re getting. One real highlight was the staff — friendly, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, even the tablecloths were just paper covers, which didn’t help elevate the atmosphere. Not terrible, but definitely not impressive.
Disappointing experience. Despite having an email confirmation for a special occasion, the staff insisted our reservation wasn't in the system and were quite rude about it. We were placed in a cold spot by the entrance. Additionally, the 'add protein' option for my pasta turned out to be an undisclosed $15 charge for a very meager portion of chicken. Overall, the service was poor and the value for money is simply not there. I would not recommend it.
