Big Buddha Sandwiches with tofu- These where delicious and tasted really fresh. Menu and selection process for sandwiches was simple, and packaging was thorough and made it easy to eat. Half a sandwich was enough for me, the other half was easy to pack and leftovers where great as well. My only critique that the sauce is a little too light--more sauce or dipping sauce would be a great addition. Overall a seriously great sandwich, would come once a week if I lived closer. Spring rolls-One person the got a roll with grilled shrimp, another got Taiwanese sausage. The portions where perfectly sized with a great sauce-to-roll ratio. They described the rolls as fresh, flavourful, and with great texture. great. Each roll was individually wrapped so they did't stick together, so make sure to take off the clear wrap before eating. Looked very pretty. Service was great, and the eating area was so cute. The walls had paintings, there was a cool industrial ceiling, and the seating area was clean and accessible. Vibe was calm and not super crowded. They did a great job with the interior.
Had some delicious tasting healthier food, and was a good place to have a casual work lunch. Reasonably priced and lots of Asian fusion options. Their tea is made with fresh sugar cane. It’s a few spots in one and is similar to a food hall style - lots of seating and easy street parking. Friendly and quick service. Very yummy!!
Buddha Bowls and Rolls has a very simple and easy to understand menu. The good things are. The food and drinks are delicious, and the customer service is excellent. The restaurant is not very big. It is for to-go orders only. The owner and employees are very nice. The food and drinks I ordered were ready in less than five minutes after I placed the order. The metered street parking is easy to find in the area. I got the parking almost in front of the restaurant.
I love their innovative Asian fusion cuisine and drinks. The dishes are refreshingly delicious, with a perfect balance of Asian and Western flavors. Our Matcha Strawberry drink and the blue drink (forgot its name) were good. The orange chicken rice bowl with added crispy roll (no filling inside btw. But texture is good) was delicious. The noodle bowl was decent but the rice bowl was better. For dessert, I enjoyed their Ube cookie and Pandan cookie, mango cookie was alright. This place filled up with customers quickly at around weekday noon, just soon after I took these photos. If you're short on time, consider ordering ahead for pickup. There’s no dine in option, only take out. We brought our food to a big park nearby and ate them there. Definitely coming back for more 💚
The food was delicious. I had the rice with crispy tofu and a carrot, cabbage, garlic, sesame salad. My women person had vermicelli noodles with pork and peanut sauce and salad. We also shared some lumpia. The place looks small but there is an entire room with chairs and windows and a restroom. Very nice. Very clean. Did I mention the food was amazing. We will be back…🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎
I came on Monday around 3PM and was served immediately. This is a to-go restaurant so no table for dine in (only a bench for waiting the order). The staffs were very friendly and inviting. I got my order within 5 minutes. - classic Vietnamese iced coffee: good iced coffee for a hot day. It had the perfect sweetness. - char-grilled pork noodle bowl with spicy buddha sauce: delicious! The pork was tender and super flavorful. The noodles were cooked perfectly and they weren't chunky when I ate it at home. The veggies were fresh and the Buddha sauce was great! - coconut pandan cookie: yummy! The cookie wasn't too sweet and the pandan flavor was prominent. Although it looked thin but it did have some chewiness in the middle and crispy edges!
Best Banh Mi I’ve had outside of Vietnam! The only difference with the Buddha Sando is they offer some aioli sauces options instead of the traditional pate, but honestly the aioli is a fantastic substitute. This is the freshest, tastiest banh mi you’re going to find in Sac. Loaded with meat and veggies, it is great value for the price. The brisket was out of this world, I could have eaten it a la carte, but together with the fresh veggies on a roll it was superb. In this photo is the Chicken Banh mi which was also delicious but I highly recommend spending the extra $2 to try the brisket. This will be a weekly staple in my lunch rotation! Only downside is they have no seating inside but perhaps they will add some seating outside eventually.
Amazing food, and super friendly service! The restaurant is split into two different parts. On one side you can order, and wait for your food. The other side is a dining area with seating for about 40 people, so plenty of room to spread out if you have a large group! The food was ready super fast, and it was flavorful and delicious!
Great service, generous portions, fresh and delicious food. Amazing value for the price. Try that Chinese sausage fried rice with their lemongrass beef and sesame salad. Super delicious Can’t wait to try my pork banh mi for dinner
Summer is right around the corner and this spot opened just in time! I visited 3 times in the last 2 weeks. I love everything ube and it's safe to say I'm obsessed with this place, especially their ube-bae matcha. Each time I go I’m given a warm welcome by staff. My most recent experience was so pleasant and the staff were recommending their favorite drinks. Grabbed a plain sugar cane drink for my partner and honestly, everything on the menu sounds so good (they even have a sugar cane drink with fresh passion fruit, and more!) Not pictured is the Buddha roll with char-grilled pork (with Thai basil aioli sauce) and it was so good! The bread either makes or breaks it for me. Keep in mind they only opened 2 weeks ago from the time of this post so they currently don't have any seating, but I can totally see space for it and maybe even outdoor seating at some point? They also do not have restrooms so that’s also something so maybe it will purely be a grab-n-go joint. Either way, I won’t mind as long as the quality continues to be stellar 💫
My husband and I went here for dinner. Food and service were excellent. We ordered the Bahn mi sandwich, bbq pork noodle bowl, salt and pepper tofu, and pork lumpia. Each came with their own sauce and it was definitely way too much food for 2 people. We have leftovers for lunch. I would recommend coming here and trying it out.

Delicious food! We got the tots and the smoky brisket bowl, so good! We are vendors at SacAnime a six minute walk away and it was less than a minute after I arrived that my food was ready. 5/5 stars.
I had a rice bowl with the orange chicken and an egg roll which were delicious, they also validated my parking as i had to park in the structure behind the place. The dining area was great as well.
I recently moved to Sacramento, and on my first night here — surrounded by boxes and completely exhausted — I ordered delivery from Buddha Bowls and Rolls. I got the Street Tofu and a noodle bowl with vegan bulgogi, and honestly… it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Yes, I was starving, but it was so flavorful, fresh, and satisfying that I couldn’t believe how good it was. The food is simple but done perfectly — every bite was packed with flavor and freshness. A few weeks later, I brought my sisters, their kids, and our parents to eat there in person, and they all loved it too. Definitely a family hit and one of my go-to spots now in Sacramento!
All of the food and drinks I’ve gotten are delicious, especially the proteins, the cucumber salad and the sugar cane juices. I’ve had some issues with forgotten items but I just make sure to double check I have everything.

The people are so nice -- but the food is better! I work around the corner. For lunch, I often order the pork noodle bowl with OG buddha sauce; salad rolls with tofu; or just a ube matcha. The food is always light, but flavorful and filling. The other day I coordinated a order for Girls Night, so I got to try things I haven't before: the carrot salad, cucumber salad, and the tahini slaw. All of it was excellent. The ladies loved it. I strongly recommend.
Excellent - generous portions and very tasty. Loved the combination of salad greens and rice noodles. Also had the 50/50 coconut & sugar cane drink which was refreshing and not too sweet. Brown butter chocolate chip cookie was very good as well.
I had the coconut shrimp spring rolls which were quite fresh and the peanut sauce faired well with it. My significant other ordered the smoked 5 spice chicken noodle bowl. There wasn’t much chicken and veggies, but it was fresh. The dragon fruit & blackberry lime drinks were sweet and also refreshing. I definitely be back for the rolls, but will pass on the bowls for now.

Overall I really enjoyed this places and would go back! But there were some things I was dissapointed with. The spring rolls alone, I would go back and get again. They have a crunchy fried, egg roll wrap inside of the spring roll. I got it with the crunchy tofu, even with my order being through door dash my food was extremly fresh and crunchy! The Banh Mi, I would probably not order it again. There is a specific texture I like my bread, crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, this was very tiny and thin. I would pass on getting this again. The wonton nachos were good! My only dissapointment along with the Banh Mi, is I got both of them with pork. Although the pork was "Char grilled" the pork was too fatty and had a intersting after taste. I know pork is naturally fatty, but someones vietnamese places specifically have a more lean porky and its very flavorful. Just was not a fan. That being said I loved the tofu and would go back to try the shrimp & chicken! Oh, this place is TINYYY with no seating unless you find a spot outside, and no bathrooms.

Third time here I’ve always gotten drinks. Decided to get a rice bowl. Paid $15 for chicken teriyaki, rice and a salad. I’m not sure why but for $15 I got a really small chicken thigh. One boneless chicken thigh that’s tiny is actually crazy. Taste is good but the portion is just terrible. 80% rice, 10% meat, 10% salad. I’ve met the owner and she’s a great person that’s why I decided to come support the business. I’m not sure if this is standard or the person who made my food didn’t like me or something. Not worth $15. I would’ve went to buckhorn next door. I didn’t expect this from a nice place like this.
We tried out their salad and sugar cane juice, salad was ok but the sugar cane juice was not fresh, it was fresh pressed but the sugar cane itself been sitting there a while. There was no place to sit in the store. We thought it be a hangout spot but not going to recommend this location

The best thing I can say is that my food tasted nutritious. Unfortunately I had to wait 20 minutes in the depressing (!) dining room bc they forgot to bring it to me. That said, customer service fails can be forgiven. What bothered me most? I am appalled at the amount of waste created for one EAT-IN order: 1 paper bag, 1 giant plastic bubble dish with a top, 1 plastic sauce with a top, straw, napkins, plastic cup with a plastic sealed cover, plastic straw wrapper, and 2 plastic sheets to individually wrap (!) each spring roll. That's too much. I was embarrassed to even put this all in the trash after my 10-minute meal. I couldn't bring myself to eat here again, even if I did like the food. Please get real dishes or consider compostable containers to limit this excessive waste.
