This place resembles what you are looking for in a perfect weekend road trip. Savory sausage, meats are well seasoned, pork belly is crispy and beans are served fresh out of the pot. Not to mention, service and staff make you feel like home. I would recommend La Curva del Gordo to anyone.

The place: it's a nice, clean semi open area with a terrace on the hills side. Some flies flying around the table. Nice view of the mountains. Car parking space available. I spent about 13.59 usd for one person and was satisfied. The food: good food, good meat served with fries butter cheese dip and onion and oil sauces. Local drinks available.

The meat is delicious and cooked exactly to one's taste. View from the terrasse is really nice. Excellent service and low priced.

Great service and yummy local food that feels like home, but upscale. Really wonderful staff and appropriate COVID protocols in place. Stunning views when sitting in the tents out back! We switched to sit inside because it seemed like it was going to rain quite hard and the wind was blowing pretty strongly too. I had the pollo a la plancha and substituted the tomato salad it usually comes with for rice. PD - resident dog Pecas (freckles) is not shy to ask for food and I may or may not have thrown him some chicken... 🖤

This is a place located near the Jose Maria Cordova International airport and the Medellin-Bogota highway, so if just going or coming back home, and you want a Bandeja Paisa, stop at this restaurant. This is a simple construction but good food, as the first restaurant of the brand, in Amaga, southwest zone of Antioquia Department (State). Here, you can order from a daily menu to a whole Punta de Anca, frijoles (red beans) and a lot more. There are so many plates in the menu to try that it is worth to come several times and give them a chance. The place is wide open and has outdoor seating, under little single tents.

One of the best breakfasts i ve had in Colombia! delicious. Quick, friendly service too.

I enjoyed the patacones with Guacamole and hogao. Nice flavor balance and texture. I liked the view of mountains on a sunny sky, sitting in the back with fresh air.

so far is the best curva del gordo.. only once i got dissapointed with the tradiontal chorizo.. think it wasnt fresh... got me a bad stomach.. i still go , still ask for their chorizo.. not complains
