Crab Bucket

We went on a Friday night, the place was half full. The hostess saw us an immediately gave us a table. The waitress came right away to offer something to drink and gave us some time to check the menu. She came back and took our order. It took around 15 minutes to be ready. We got 2 pounds of the cajun shrimp. They were not too spicy, the temperature and flavor were great. I also ordered white rice which was also good. The place, food and service were excellent, but is a little pricy. But once in a blue in a while it’s ok.

This place was recommended. We absolutely loved the crab bucket it was amazing. Service could have been better. We had to keep going to the counter to ask for things. They didn’t even bring her items needed for the crab bucket. Otherwise no complaints. The price was good and so was the food.

Nice little place, service is pretty good on certain days but if it's busy it's usually a bit chaotic. It gets loud on the weekends but the food is good and the spices are great. Love the shrimp with a medium Cajun spice. Do recommend It!

Eating off the table was quite the experience. Ordered 1lb of Cajun shrimp and sweet potato fries. Yummy😍 Piece of advice...do not wear your best. You will get messy😀

My family ordered the snow crab, king crab, shrimp, and mussels. We tried the garlic and the kawa bunga flavor. 😋 The phones are always busy, but I walked in and ordered and they had it done within 20 minutes. 👌🏼

The hottest flavor is not that hot. Pretty decent. Pretty similar to boiling crab.

Went there last night, Corn was DRY AF, and the older lady was rude af. This is the first time me and my man don’t tip. She didn’t even bring us gloves we had to eat with our barehands while she watched us. She gave us 2 minutes to order after seating us and was in such a rush. Her attitude was ugly like if she didn’t want to work there. Sorry baby girl looks like Hospitality isn’t for you.

Awful experience. It was our server's second day which may have attributed to the bad service. We have a 10 month old daughter, and as such, we eat out rather early to avoid her being too fussy. Firstly, I asked the server what the "Kawa Banga" flavor tasted like as she said it was her favorite. After politely asking several different ways, she still was unable to answer me. Then, we noticed that two other tables that had arrived significantly later than us had already received their food. Our server came to our table and told us our order was mistakenly given to another table. Then she proceeded to ask us if we would like the other tables' order... In conclusion, our food finally came way too late and our daughter was extremely fussy and we had to leave shortly after our food FINALLY arrived. We were given a small discount for our trouble. Go somewhere else if you would like good service. Also, quite overpriced for the quality of food.

I WOULDNT recommend this spot to anyone EVER. We're from out of town trying to celebrate a birthday, my family and I went mind you 14 people the youngest is 3. We all got food poisoning and have been vomiting and using the restroom more than usual.

Gave it 1 star because of its pricing. Food is good, service is ok. They just need to change the type of music they play when guests are dining. I don't want to hear Trap music while I'm eating. The music is profane too. I love hip hop, but not like this when kids are present.

I used to love this place but I will never go back again. I usually get one lb of shrimp with corn inside and the last time the corn inside the bag was biten from one side. This makes me think they are using the left overs from others and use them for new orders or the cook is helping himself. Super disgusting 🤮 don’t recommend this place . I would put zero starts but it does not give me that option

Customer service is horrible. There were 3 tables that were occupied as for we got there right when they opened. As we were eating we noticed the waitress asked the other 2 tables if they were ok and if they needed anything. She completely skipped over over table. Did not one person come to our table at all. I definitely let her know how rude it was. Will NOT be going back to this place with their frozen over seasoned food. Take me back to Florida please with fresh seafood!

WE USED TO BE FREQUENT CUSTOMERS. AT TIMES UP TO 3-4 TIMES A WEEK!!!!! UPDATE: Dined in on Tues night 1/22; called before driving over (5 min) to make sure it was still okay to dine in. Guy said yes. We were the only ones there. It felt like we were a bother and they wanted to leave. Our food was rushed and thery threw both orders in one bag. Sooo upsetting since we were frequent customers. Gave it another shot today; Thurs 1/31 (this time we arrived with plenty of time). Who ever cracked the oysters open did such a HORRIBLE job that there were very hard to enjoy with broken shell all over the oysters. Then the shrimp was different. We couldn't quite make out what had changed so we asked... They decided to change the recipe 2 months ago. BIG MISTAKE!!!!! Haven't returned since. 😒 FIRST REVIEW: Love the Shrimp - Kawabanga Wild! Oysters are the best in town (when in season). Wings weren't good. Cajun fries with ketchup, tapatío and lime; mmm, mmm, mmm to die for! Service needs improvement; it's a hit 'n' miss. Some are great. Others slack off a little and don't pay too much attention to their tables. But we come back for that shrimp!!! 😋😋😋

The servers are rude. They yell at you from across the room asking if you are dining in or if it’s take out. Don’t see the purpose of the sign at the entrance that says to wait to be seated, when instead they yell and get upset and rude towards you because you can’t hear them. I hope management does something about the rude employees they have.

I have been going to crab bucket since they open... the very first server was excellent such a loss for the owner and the food was great then the rice etc., BUT the rice has gotten worse and most specially the SERVERS! No greet no smile. We always order the same thing...my son treated me there for a belated Mother’s Day still recovering from a cervical surgery. We sat there waiting for my son and after 15 minutes servers back n forth they didn’t think to ask if we wanted something to drink... “ no interest in “up your sales” ? I had to tell the server to take our drink order. Finally ready to order: all the while the people that came way after us gets their food first, ours come finally all errors : 1). corn of a cob was in our bag which was ordered by another from our table 2). mussels were not the GREEN MUSSELS (which we ordered) 3). the “garlic pasta” was made with teriyaki topped with garlic, n sweet???? Garlic pasta is white sauce. Had to reorder 4) while our server was overwhelmed the other servers “ gossiping” because “ I am unhappy with my order” n had waited long enough NOW all the servers are “ having a POW WOW” meeting about having to cook the right mussels. Some people may not be able to tell the difference between MUSSELS N GREEN MUSSELS but THERE ARE LIKE ME that knows the difference. Where is the MGR...or someone that can teach the servers to SMILE n that when there’s a problem “ they don’t act like SMART ASSES” because at the end of the day US who SPEND our hardworking money IS WHY THEY HAVE A JOB. I told the server you must not LIKE YOUR JOB and little smart ass says yes I love my job... REALLY??? It seems that her ass was hurting that it SHOWS ALL OVER HER FACE. We were there from 730-915 N NOT 1 time did she smile. Overall, the lack of professionalism and customer care left a poor impression, and unfortunately, we won’t be returning. Avoid at all costs. Rude and over priced.

Horrible experience, my lobster was so expired/rotten that the moment I cracked it open it smelled like ammonia.🤮 I've never smelled anything so disgusting. I have elderly that are now in danger of getting sick from food poisoning. This is unacceptable. I also never got an apology for the mishap or any type of accountability on the establishments part. I received a cash refund for the lobster item out of a $70 plus amount spent. Last but not least I got charged for another item which was not in my bag. Overall NOONE is keeping up with the product freshness. FIFO should be implemented. DO BETTER! Price isn't the issue but if I'm going to spend my hard earned money I expect fresh food.

I have never gone to google to rate anything! But I’m currently not able to get a hold of anyone in charge of here! I had ordered some snow crab legs and was doubting the weight, the reasons being is that they gave me one full cluster and another one that had skinny legs and was not complete (I wish I could have took a picture). We go here all the time and we have always gotten 3 full clusters. We requested them to get weight again and we’re denied! The server told us that they were already weighed and if we didn’t want them she can just take them bak and give us our money back! (With attitude and her hand on her waist) she mentioned that everyone has been getting only two cluster. Mind you, my son was hungry and that’s all he enjoys eating, if that wasn’t the case I wouldn’t have bought the food and got out of there immediately. My family wasn’t able to eat comfortably, and I’m still wondering who i can reach out to with my complain. All I know is I’m never going there again, the one in sea side has better service and they also give discounts depending on your order, I’ll risk the long drive !

Very displeased after having to deal with a funeral we thought we would get something I paid $55 just for one pound bag of shrimp did I have to end up sharing with my daughter's because the prices were just outrageously high trade union $17 all I had was three corn & three potatoes, I ordered three cans of soda and was charged for two fountain drinks and one can of soda with a side of sweet potatoes which were very hard stale and burnt. I made a comment and still didn't discount me for the fries. Will never again go to a place like this! So much for being from out of state I'll definitely be posting from my other account as I love giving reviews 500,000 k people to view!
