Amazing place. If you come to Colombia you must visit San Agustin and San Agustin Archaeological Park. Amazing history and amazing introduction to the. culture of Colombia.

Very interesting sculptures. Paved trails. Possibilities to eat and drink something. Very recommended. Needed 3 hours for the round trip including the small museum. The entrance fee for foreigners is too expensive.

Amazing place to view history and the statues these groups created. Worth the money. The $65000 that people complain about covers three parks which is great value. Please go and see these spectacular monuments.

The park is well taken care of. Really cool to see all the statues and the museum is well presented with English translations all over the park. Most of it is outdoors which is nice. 3-4 hours to walk everywhere. I really recommend a visit!

Just an incredible place full of tombs and statues set in a mainly jungle setting that requires quite a bit of hiking to see everything but the rewards are rich indeed. Like may people I suspect, I only knew about this place vaguely but was hugely impressed on my visit. The numerous statues are in fantastic shape considering the age of them, probably because they were buried for so long. I recommend hiring one of the older local guides as they can relate so much history and point out so many features you would most likely miss were you to go on your own. Allow 3 to 4 hours to visit to get the most out of the park. Entrance fees are well worth it and also cover additional sites that are also worth visiting but you'll likely need to do those on a tour if you don't have your own car.

Despite the rain I got a very good and impressive view of the various statues. I started in the museum to get to know more about the parc (besides my guide book that really helped as well). Without guide I would country between 3-4 hours. Be aware, their is no connection with Movistar, so I had to ask a guard who had Claro. Enjoy!

Wonderful site. The museum is small but very nice. The information is in English and Spanish. They have 40 statues that were removed from where found in earlier times on a walking path. Then there are areas with excavated tombs. Amazing! The ancient culture who created these were fascinating.

Great spot to see 3000 years old pre-columbian statues in the middle of a jungle setting. It also has a museum at the entrance which teaches you a lot about the history of the place and the (possible) origin of the statues.
