Best Bahn Mi I’ve had in San Antonio! Customer service was awesome and the Vietnamese coffee was so good! Price was great for the quality and portion! Will definitely be back! +5 stars for having a drive thru!

If you have never heard of a Vietnamese banh mi sandwich, this is the right place to learn about it. This fantastic sandwich has pork, pate, veggies all on a wonderful French bread Hoagie style roll. I have eaten them overseas and here in the states. Today I found the best place in San Antonio for the banh mi sandwich, Vanh Mi 102. Located on Bandera road, this is truly the best Vietnamese sandwich I have found in the city in 10 years; you really got to try this place. You will not be disappointed. Oh by the way, did I tell you that this place has all of the Boba teas and smoothies? Yes it does. So you could wash down that wonderful sandwich with your favorite drink.

Clean, lots of light, nice aesthetic and the food and drinks were so tasty. We had the popular banh mi, a vegan one, a tamarind juice with peanuts, and a Thai milk tea with boba. The employees were really nice too.

Ice Vietnamese coffee is one of my favorites and I saw they had it on their menu so I decided to give them a try. And WOW I’m so glad I did!!!!! I also tried the shredded chicken sandwich and it was delicious! The coffee was one of the BEST iced Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in YEARS! I recommend 10/10!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 I’ll definitely be back!!!

Came here in search of a good Banh Mi in San Antonio. It was a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't crowded, so was able to grab any table and order at the counter. There's about 6 different Banh Mi's to pick from and also coffees, teas, smoothies, and juices. Service was fast and friendly. Ordered at the counter and was called up within 10 minutes to pick it up. Ordered the Special Banh Mi and Grilled Pork Banh Mi. Sitting area was nicely decorated and very clean. Sandwiches were delicious, especially the bread. Both were equally as good with it coming down to personal preference. Will be back again.

This is the fifth time I've been here since we saw it existed about a month ago. It's delicious. I've only had the pork, special, and vegan meat banh mi so far, and they were all delicious. It's clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. The matcha milk tea I had was also awesome. My sister got a smoothie and was able to get Stevia instead of sugar. They have an extensive drink menu (bubble & milk teas, smoothies)with add-ons. I highly recommend it. Very tasty and quick to serve.

Great Bahn Mi restaurant! Fabulous sandwiches and rice bowl. Beef rice bowl flavored with marinated cut up beef patties. No fountain drinks. Wonderful tapioca drinks. Nice ambiance. Excellent service. Very clean!

Banh Mi 102 is an absolute gem! Their phố is incredible, rich, authentic, and packed with flavor. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. It truly feels like a comforting, authentic Vietnamese meal. The staff is friendly, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving amazing Vietnamese food!

Our first impression when we walked in was the cleanliness and set up of the place. My husband and I absolutely loved the sandwich and pork bowl. We’ve never had such great tasting Vietnamese food with the perfect balance of spices, sauces, rice, meat, and crisp veggies. The bowl was surprisingly filling and the sandwich was unexpectedly large. Very, very fresh food. We just left the place 10 minutes ago and my husband is still raving about this place! He said the spices used are uniquely delicious, something he’s never tasted before. The smoothies are not artificially flavored- maybe just a tad too sweet but yummy! The staff are also very friendly and welcoming! It’s great to have a place to go to where excellence is served both in food and customer service!

oh my gosh, I love Vietnamese food and this place takes the top spot for my favs - my boyfriend and I traveled in from East Texas for vacation and this was a place we chose to eat for night 2. Pho was flavorful - the Grilled Pork Banh Mi was killer - the Grilled Beef Bowl was yummy and rich. Upon ordering, the staff made sure we knew what was in the pho and verified how I wanted the meat done. I didn’t ask any questions - I didn’t need to! My boyfriend doesn’t like pho that much but was very pleased with theirs. Food came out fasf. The bread was/is made fresh by the shop. 20/10.

The food here is out of this world! The signature pho is incredible, and made me eat more than my fair share of my girlfriend's order of it. I ordered beef bowl and it was really good and the sauce that you add on top of it really just made everything come together and taste amazing. Besides the food, the people are nice and considerate. 10/10

While I'm not all that familiar with a lot of Vietnamese cuisine, I most certainly am a fan of banh mi sandwiches. I LOVE great banh mi and this place is fantastic! It's no where convenient to me but I make the trip because it's so good!!!!

Special báhn mì is about as good as a sandwich gets. So many flavors complimenting each other. Meat balls (xíu mài)sandwich is pretty much an explosion of flavor. Highly recommend this west side mom and pop shop

Best Bahn Mi in SATX !!!! The 01 special Bahn is delicious! So fresh and the crunch on the bread is perfect ! And the PHO is new on the menu but soooo YUMMY! For my Asian Peeps when you don’t have to remix it ..(iykyk) Broth is Pho-nomenql !!! Customer service is also great 😊 def recommend! Need another location ASAP!

But I don't go there for tea, just awesome sandwiches. If you're in the area, there is no excuse for not checking them out. If you're not nearby, it's definitely worth the trip. They happily take credit cards but prefer if you can pay in cash.

A great little spot with perfect prices and even better sandwiches. The pricing for a meal was great, and all the different ones we tried were great in their own right. Service was helpful and quick, even after it took a while to decide on an order. The mochi was also great, prepackaged, but amazing for a sweet bite afterwards. Boba was also good, nothing special but a great pairing.

Stumbled on this place on our way to run errands and we were looking for some pho. Let me start by saying they only carry 1 type of pho but that one pho makes up for everything! The broth was DELICIOUS the meats were perfect and everything was outstanding. Clean restaurant, great atmosphere and service. I spoke with the lady and let her know my husband thinks it’s one of the best pho we’ve tried so far and we’ve tried many, she let us know they’ve only carried pho for 2 months so far, but man I can’t rave about it enough. And their chili oil was amazing wish I could have taken some home lol. Also their drinks were really good. We tried their taro milk tea with boba and the green tea lychee with jelly.

My husband has tried multiple sandwiches and says they have all been good. The inside is very clean and I have never had a bad experience with the employees. Lastly, I appreciate that they have a drive thru, and it never takes too long.

The drinks my new looks fabulous and iced Vietnamese coffee is the way to go. I did request for less sugar and it was perfect. The place is very spacious and clean. I can’t wait to go back and try the classic and other sandwiches. I think the prices were fair, slightly higher, but worth it. It is quick service however they were very efficient. Also, had to note that the to go packaging is fantastic and neat.

We only had drinks, a brown sugar milk tea and a peach tea with lychee and they were both good! A lot of available options for milk substitutes as well but they did say they use dairy free creamer anyway. The decor was also very trendy!

Very good banh mi. Baguette is crunchy on the out side, but soft on the inside. The dac biet banh mi comes with a reasonable portion of meat and the veggies pair well with the banh mi; delivered a fresh after taste. Overall 9/10.

I happened to see this restaurant on my way by when I drove back by I wanted to stop in and support a local business. Wife and I have been in search of a great banh mi in San Antonio for a while and man, this place checked that box. This place had been on my list but we live so far away but happened to be on that side of town so we decided to grab it to go on the way home. We didn’t even eat it till hours later, threw it in the air fryer and it still tasted amazing. The Vietnamese coffee was great too. Great mix of strong and sweet. Will def go back next time we’re close by.

Would be the best in san Antonio out of all the places we tried. There's only 2 place id go. Bc or banh 102. 102 is closer to home and Bc is closer to my parents. Tasted like how I remember when I was still in Saigon.

I always get the Pork Bahn Mi, it's always so juicy. The veggies are super fresh as well. So far, I've only tried strawberry, mango, & lemon smoothies with Boba. I have to say Strawberry is my favorite smoothie here. I never finish my drinks, but this is the only place that I NEED to not leave anything in the cup lol

This place may be a small restaurant, but it's clean and pleasant, and they have fantastic sandwiches and pho. The service is excellent. I had pho and bought the sandwich intending it for later. Their Grilled Pork Banh Mi DOES NOT disappoint!! One of the best banh mi’s I’ve had in a while! However, their drinks tend to be on the sweeter side (a little too much in my opinion) and I only ordered boba once here and their tapioca weren’t fully cooked, which was kind of disappointing since I’m planning on coming back for their Banh Mis!

I’ve been coming to this shop since moving into the area and I will not be giving a low rating because every other time I’ve eaten here it’s been great and I want to support small and local businesses. Boba is delicious, prices aren’t bad. I had a negative experience for the first time going through the drive thru I got my usual chicken Bahn Mi, I pulled into a parking spot at the gas station next door to eat it and what is usually a warm sandwich was ice cold including the chicken, I was concerned about getting sick from the chicken not being a proper temperature so I went inside to ask to have it remade but when I explained that the chicken was cold I was told it was from the cold veggies, that is not true. I have ordered this sandwich many times before and it was never cold like that. I believe the chicken just wasn’t heated up this time around. Instead of offering to replace my sandwich it was taken back and heated up again which is a BIG food safety concern as someone who has worked in food service for a long time that is against regulation policies for food safety since I had already begun eating it. After being given my half a sandwich back the meat inside was still cold, so I went back in again and asked for a new sandwich. I wasn’t given a new sandwich but the meat was taken off and heated up again separately from the sandwich, again food safety nightmare. I understand things are tight and to save a dime you didn’t want to remake the whole sandwich but I was really sad about this experience especially because I love this spot and I usually never like to complain about these things but I think it’s important for the business to know that if a regulatory agency saw them do what they did today they would not be okay with that. I hope the next time I am able to afford to treat myself at this establishment that the experience is better.

so this applies to only the combo bahn mi sandwich; i didn't like it. bread is fine but that's pretty much it. all of the meats aren't the correct meat. there's odd flavors in it like sweet cinnamon or something similar. the head cheese isn't the right headcheese. pickling had a strange taste. pate was meh. i can't remember the last time i had a bahn mi i couldn't finish. today, that happened. i may try some of the other ones like pork or chicken (i think that was one of the options) and see how they are but since a vietnamese restaurant near me is now offering the same sandwich (after they had a change of owner and chef), i think i'll go there next and re-try their sandwich. i didn't like theirs before either but at least i could finish it. i also had a brown sugar milk tea and my wife had the lychee lemonade. both of those were really good. i'd go back for their beverages but not food. so far, i can't recommend the sandwiches but the drinks seem like safe bets.
