Stopped by after we tapped out the kid from boot. Outstanding pizza. The service and food earned it a 5 for atmosphere also. It is in a strip mall so nothing fancy, but a great casual spot to fill up on some great za and the staff(owner maybe?) makes you feel very welcome.

Big thanks to Mark and other staff. He's always so attentive and helpful. I've been there a handful of times and the service is consistently 5🌟's. I am a vegetarian and he's given great recommendations on the spinach/feta and basil/ricotta slices. A friend and I meet there to do a catch up and always order the 2 slices and a drink. The slices are big and filling. We are always checked on several times during our visit to see if we need anything. The space is clean and cared for. All these reasons are why we keep coming back. The service however is what gets me to write reviews. A+ for the service! The only suggestion for improvement is the drink station. At least 1 or more of the choices are out of order every time I've been in..this is something that needs more attention.

We ordered an online order and it was ready for pick up by the time we went to the restaurant. Good food and great service. Even though we ordered online, we decided to eat in and the workers were very friendly and attentive. They had a kind tone in their voice and checked up on us while we ate. They even asked if we needed utensils and got them for us. The store was clean and organized. They even said bye and thanked us for coming when we left.

Amazing experience at [restaurant name]! From the moment I walked in, the place felt super cozy and the smell of fresh pizza straight out of the oven made me hungry right away. I ordered the [pizza name or type, e.g., “pepperoni with extra cheese”], and it was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cheese melted beautifully, and the ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality. The service was fast and friendly — you can tell the staff genuinely cares about making customers happy. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality they offer. Without a doubt, this has become one of my favorite spots for pizza. Totally recommended!

I had a wonderful experience at Goomba’s. The customer service was excellent—attentive, polite, and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The highlight, however, is the food. Both the pizzas and pastas have a truly authentic Italian taste, rich in flavor and perfectly prepared. It’s a place I would highly recommend to anyone searching for genuine Italian cuisine and great hospitality.

Goomba’s Pizzeria off Blanco Road is fantastic! The food is fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. What really stood out to me was the incredible customer service. Mark, the manager, goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels taken care of. You can tell he genuinely cares and it shows in the way he runs the restaurant. If you’re looking for great pizza and outstanding service, this is a great place to go to. Excited to keep coming back!

August 2025 Back at Goomba's to pick up some pizza for some visiting guests and a somber event at home. I was greeted, placed my order - note ordered 3 pizzas, one customized to have no tomatoes due to allergies - ordered a cheese 12", Molto Meat 12", and the customized white tomato w/ out the tomatoes 12". The pizzas were ready within 20 minutes, looked and tasted great. Hope that if you decide to visit that your experience is as good or better than mine. November 2024 Decided to give this pizzeria a try, and they did not disappoint. While the Blanco Rd near Lockhill Selma location is not the flagship location ( off Wurzbach & IH-10 area ), it's service and that of the staff make up for the effort, customer service and courteous approach. Mark assisted us, answered all of our questions, and guided us through the ordering process. Note, we first stopped in for a slice of the sausage pizza and a soda. We ended up leaving with 2 large pizzas (16 inches) - 1 veggies, 1 - cheese, and 1 meat lovers (20 inches) to take to some visiting out of town guests. I hope that if you decide to visit, your experience is as good as mine.

This hot, delicious pizza might be the best that I have ever ate. Thinking of who other's comes close is a challenge. The Cheesy Garlic Bread was right out of the oven, with fresh garlic and plenty of cheese. If you like pizza, I highly recommend this place!

New to the neighborhood, we decided to give Goombas a chance during our Spring Break. First impression of restaurant was that it's impeccably clean. Floors, tables & soda station were spotless. The menu is easy to view & they have specials that rotate. For our first visit we ordered 1 kids spaghetti, 1 kids chicken alfredo & 2 #1s which are two slices of pizza w/2 toppings each & a fountain drink. Our total was around $50 without tip. Kids meals do not include a drink, so those are separate. From the photos, you can see that the pizza slices are GIANT! Their lunch specials include two of those monstrous slices w/a drink - definitely a deal! The kids portions were also generous, leaving us with extra to take home. Pizza was fresh, crust was perfection & the mushrooms were not from a can - hallelujah! We'll definitely make this place a regular joint we visit & are happy to support a local business!

Very good pizza. I came here twice to try the slice. The first time I had it delivered made me decide to try it in person. It’s now one of my top three pizzas in San Antonio. Very good crispy crust that is well cooked and flavorful. Sauce isn’t as tangy as I would prefer so more on the savory side. Good quality toppings and a well calibrated fountain machine makes me appreciate this place even more.

Pizza by the slice had its hits and misses. But as expensive as pizza has gotten, its a good budget-friendly option. People are great. I was disappointed by how little cheese came on pizza so I would add more cheese next time. Was happy that basil was fresh and not wilted and chicken was not dry.

Horrible I ordered the white tomatoes pizza it had 2 tomatoes on it with a few onion flakes. There was nothing to the pizza nothing like the picture online. Told kitchen I didn't like it so I ordered the cheese pizza I've had in the past the crust was like card board. We also ordered the pizza Friday for dessert they were over cooked couldn't even chew them. There was a 10 difference in pizza they refused to give me my money back horrible experience
