Pleasantly surprised to find excellent food at this southern restaurant. I personally enjoyed the blackened catfish smothered with a shrimp Etouffee sauce. The young lady next to me had a delicious looking chicken and waffle plate!! I will have to come back for that!!

Goodness. This place is fabulous! Why wouldn’t it be? It’s in the same family as Whiskey Cake, serving elevated American classics. The atmosphere, the service, and the food were excellent! My personal favorite were the biscuits and variety of spread made in-house. We also ordered the gumbo, the mushroom tortellini, pork chops, and the pecan pie. They were so good, we cleaned our plates! Thank you to the staff that made our experience great.

WOW, the Chefs are doing their thing!!! Absolutely amazing overall experience! Food was beyond amazing and flavorful. All staff was very attentive and polite. Tried their Cheeseburger with a side salad, no ketchup needed so delicious & the salads dressing was 😮‍💨 My partner got the chicken & waffles with lobster Mac n Cheese & Grits, didn’t disappoint. Can’t wait to return!

Originally, we went to PF Changs to celebrate our anniversary. However, the server was unpleasant and noticeably irritated to be there. We left before ordering. We decided to go to Ida Claire's instead. Our server Rachel really turned the evening around. She made us feel welcomed and was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the crab cake, fried chicken, and ribs. Our food was delicious. We are looking forward to going back and trying everything else on the menu. Thank you, Rachel, for making our night special ❤️

My husband and I had our post wedding brunch here with about (20ish) guests. The staff and our servers were AMAZING, KIND, and SUPER ATTENTIVE!! We had such a great experience with this restaurant. Our guests also had a good time. The servers were top tier when it came to hosting us and taking care of us for the brunch hour. We will definitely be returning for our anniversary! Thank you again for making our special day even more special!!

Our server Bobby was master class! This was our first time here for our 1 year marriage anniversary and Bobby delivered a wonderful breakdown of the food and drink menu along with suggestions and fan favorites. Drinks were always full and he was very well timed with his visits (no mid bite interaction haha) full of energy and made us feel very welcome! 10/10 will be coming back soon!

So far everything we have tried the last few time we’ve had lunch here has all been good. Appetizers: - Nashville Cauliflower was delicious! It’s perfectly crispy and love how it has the perfect spice. - Fried Green Tomatoes were some of the best that I have had, which hasn’t been much but y’all I can eat this all the time! Don’t forget to divulge into the sauce it comes with, absolutely refreshing! - Ida’s Biscuits just a basket of fluffy carbs waiting to be dressed with either their bacon gravy, house made jam, or honey butter. All were my favorite! Entrees: - Seafood Campanelle/Pasta is everything I could ever ask for in a pasta dish. I love everything about it, and I always have leftovers to take home! - Nashville Hot Tenders, I didn’t try this, but my husband did say it was good. - Double Cheeseburger, once again my husband ordered this with a side of rice & beans I believe which he enjoyed as well. The service has always been very welcoming and I just love the vibe of this place!

The food was great! It was Mother’s Day so it was hectic but the manager on duty went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of! We will definitely be coming back.

Such a cute place. Our server Sara was super nice. She made some good recommendations on food and drinks. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich. It was absolutely delicious. And the blueberry mule’s were on point! We will definitely be back!

Very nice restaurant. Great food and very large portions. French press coffee was lovely. The biscuits are good by themselves, but add that homemade jam and wow! The cajun gravy is good as well. The lemon poppyseed pancakes will feed a whole family. I really enjoyed the sausage scramble. The sausage had a little spice and some sweetness from the herbs. I don't think you could go wrong with anything here. Just a wonderful place to go. PS. The biscuits didn't last long enough to get a picture.

The fried chicken is to die for. Prefect crust and tasty moist chicken. Fried oysters were on point. Angel made a Proud Mary the late great Tina Turner would be proud of. We ate at the bar, and he made sure we never went thirsty or wanted for anything. We will be back for sure!

So we started out our experience on a bad note unfortunately. I had made a reservation for my mom‘s 66th birthday and because of the size of the reservation they only had outdoor available tables and I made the reservation online on Friday so I called Saturday morning Because I knew Sunday morning was going to be chilly and wanted to see if there was any way we could get indoor tables otherwise it would have been too cold for my mom and dad. I talked to a host and explained our situation and she said it was no problem that she would make a note and we could get indoor tables for our Sunday time. I received a call Sunday morning about an hour and a half away from our reservation time and I was told they had no availability and that we would have to move times if we wanted indoor seating. I was pretty upset because that didn’t leave me much time to switch restaurants and alert my family who had younger children that were coming with them that were also on sleeping schedules. The host did go ahead and get the manager on the phone and she was very apologetic because she could not get us in at the time that I really needed and was very sorry about the miscommunication between hosts and really wanted to make it right the best she could by still getting us in at a little later time and offering free appetizers and dessert for my mom. The time fit some of our schedules, but my brother and his kids could not make it because it was a little late for them. When we were seated at our table, the manager came out and apologized and checked up on us and was very sweet and accommodating. She also said that she was going to work with her host so that this problem wouldn’t happen again. I definitely understand about the things that pop up out of the restaurants control, and even though it didn’t work out exactly how I had hoped she did rectify the situation the best that she could, and I did appreciate that a lot. The food was so good in our waiter was really nice. My mom and I will definitely be going back during the weekday when it’s less busy and I do now know for future reference to make the reservation even earlier in advance, especially if it’s on the weekend. So even though I had a bad start to the experience, they definitely did their best to make it right and I do appreciate a restaurant or business that can apologize, try to fix the situation and still be as professional as possible, so I am still giving them five stars, but thought I would put out there to be sure if it’s the weekend to make reservations plenty in advance if you have a party of five or more. Highly recommend it though because that food was definitely memorable. Sorry for the novel size review.

**Restaurant Review: Ida Claire at Alamo Quarry Market, San Antonio** During my recent visit to Ida Claire at Alamo Quarry Market in San Antonio, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional dining experience. Our group of six was warmly greeted by a delightful waitress named Pamela. She not only welcomed us with a smile but also took the time to explain the entire menu with enthusiasm, even making personalized suggestions. What stood out most was her dedication to ensuring every guest felt informed and appreciated; she even made sure to go to the other end of the table to engage with everyone personally. The dishes we ordered were not only generously portioned but also incredibly delicious. I had a specific request to modify a sandwich to include fried oysters, and Pamela handled it without any hesitation. This level of accommodation and service is rare and greatly appreciated. Overall, Ida Claire is a must-visit dining location in San Antonio. The combination of outstanding service, delectable food, and welcoming atmosphere makes it a highly recommended spot for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal.

This is the experience I had with Ida Claire on 7300 Jones Maltsberger Rd. Was looking for a late lunch and found this place on Yelp/Google, amazing find. The restaurant is located right next to The Quarry (and not in it) so can be a bit confusing; but it is located in a small plaza across from Starbucks and In the same plaza as Grove Hill Fine Women’s Clothier. You will see a hand sign that has their restaurant name on it and a black fenced area with a silver dining car with plenty of outdoor seating. The ambience is very lively and has lots of indoor seating, a bar, as well as flat screen TVs for Sports watchers. Ordered the Seafood Pasta and Loaded Sweet Potato Fries. The sweet potato fries are beautifully crosscut w/ pickled red onions and special sauce, mixed as a delicious appetizer. The Seafood pasta were extremely well flavored with plenty of shrimp, crawfish and lobster; I was honestly surprised at how much seafood were in the pasta (most restaurants give you a lot of noodles and little seafood). The pasta tasted wonderful; a must-try if you’re a seafood lover. Also like to recommend the waitress Melania. Though she’s only been working at this restaurant for 2 months, her enthusiasm, friendly demeanor, and superb service made my dining experience much more enjoyable. Not only was she attentive, she asked the right questions and listened to my cravings and was able to suggest a great combination of food from the myriad of menu items. Bravo! Because of the great food, ambience and the amazing service by Melania, will definitely come back to try more dishes if in the area. Keep up the good work Melania & Ida Claire!

This dining experience came as a surprise dinner from my husband and surprised I was indeed! An extremely charming dining room with friendly staff and good food. If you only have one thing from this establishment let it be the VICE CAKE. So delicious I wanted to take a baking class after and learn how to make it haha. Next time you’re in SA or have friends coming into town consider this on your list.

First time experience. South Carolina native and recent SATX resident so I had to add this to places to check out. Was not disappointed from the entrance to our lovely seating area! Our waitress, Rachel, was amazing! We had a family of five (2 adults, 3 children including a toddler) and they made accommodations for us. Recommended a drink that really made my meal taste even better. Brought us some extra sauce and seasoning (didn’t really need it but it helped). Our food came to us in record time and for dessert, the key lime pie is a must try! Will return before the year ends!

It was our first time here, after finding it on Tik Tok. It was worth EVERY HYPE. From the minute we walked in, it was a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our server FABIAN, he was awesome! Best service we’ve ever received at Brunch! Everything he recommended was right on point! He guided us through the menu to insure we got the best of everything! We will definitely be back!

A modern take on classic Southern and country dishes in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The prices would have scared me off, but we'll definitely be back after going with a large group and having such terrific service all night and realizing that nearly every dish was incredible.

A great southern spot for brunch. The deviled eggs and Ida biscuits were a perfect start, and both the shrimp and grits and the chicken and waffles were flavorful and cooked just right. Friendly service and a welcoming vibe made the whole experience even better. Definitely worth a visit in San Antonio.

I love this place as an occasional stop. This time we came on valentines and we were late to our reservation due to traffic. They were so nice about it. Definitely a bit busy with longer waits, but food was great and they aren't too expensive. BTW, the cinnamon latte was delicious!

The food quality is amazing! Our waitress did a very good job. The tenders are really big and very juicy. Great flavor! There was a dill pickle and pickled red onion concoction on top of my tenders. That was so flavorful! Perfect combination! The biscuits come with a bacon white gravy, a jam, and some sweet butter! So good! The biscuits are homemade too! The atmosphere is amazing, a very cute environment.

Everything at Ida Claire is delicious every single time. The food, the service, the atmosphere… They have the best cookies for dessert and their Lavender Haze cocktail is to die for! Their little personal touches to Southern food is always a win.

Had a great time visiting Ida Claire! The food was amazing and every dish we tried was delicious. The food portions are more than enough and you will definitely have leftovers. The service here is amazing and the staff is very attentive. Our waiter, Fabian, was amazing and handled our group of 10 with great service, cheerful attitude, and very friendly. I would definitely recommend visiting here for brunch with friends or family.

What a delightful surprise we got as patrons of Ida Claire. The atmosphere is reflective of a Southern restaurant. The service by Kaitlyn was impeccable. She was "Johnny on the Spot" with service and continually checked on us throughout our meal. Her enthusiasm for the restaurant and food was refreshing. The food, from appetizer through dessert, was so fresh and simply outstanding. We regret it took us so long to discover Ida Claire, but we will definitely be frequent diners.

After getting my son’s haircut in the area, we drove past Ida Claire and decided to stop and eat. I didn’t know what to expect and luckily it happened to be slower than usual so we were able to be seated fairly quickly. Our server recommend making reservations as the restaurant is typically packed. The food was absolutely amazing! Aside from being delicious the food and drinks are aesthetically pleasing to post online. We’re all guilty of it. 😂 I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think about the avocado toast everyday. What left a greater impression than the food was our server’s hospitality and friendliness. Abby is an absolute angel! Abby left such a great impression, if you ever find yourself eating at Ida Claire, ask for Abby!

Ida Claire was great. There is plenty of parking. It had an outdoor patio, indoor seating but it can be a little loud. The food was great from appetizers to the entrees. Service was just as good. Drinks were always full and the wait staff was very attentive. I ordered the Seafood Pasta with the Crawfish Corn Fritters.

Really good flavors! Chicken&waffles and fried green tomatoes on point. The maple syrup taste more like pancake syrup. I asked for the fried green tomatoes first and the chicken and waffles came first. Other than that hiccup everything was great!

Our family has always loved Ida Claire for family celebrations! Our latest visit was to celebrate Mama's 92nd birthday. The service from Roman, the food, the attention to Mama was superb! My only regret was that they were out of the crab cakes and the duck nachos! But we carried on and found equally delicious food. Always such a treat!! My sincere apologies...I thought I rated it all fives...but now I see it posted as ones. NOT THE CASE...5's all the way!

I will start w the "bad." Parking is a nightmare and TRULY blows. I moved to Chipotle and walked bc they have signs that specifically say you can be towed it parked nextdoor. Make a reservation. I didn't have to wait. Everyone who walked in had to be added to wait-list. The hostess, Paula (like Pau-Pau - NOT Paul-Ugh), was THE SWEETEST! I am almost certain she is who answered my many questions over phone when I called couple weeks ago. My tia & tip recommended this place after my birthday din a few weeks ago w them. They brought my cousin's fiance and know I love Southern Comfort food. My ONE complaint is that you can't order off the full Lunch or Dinner menu on Sunday bc of Brunch, but as someone whose been in service industry over 15 years I fully get it. I randomly asked and was surprised that they do, in fact, give 10% off Military Discount. Our server, whose name I don't remember was also great. He was kinda in weeds, but didn't show it. Paula was fantastic, tho. GREAT, ABOVE par customer service provided. The fried oysters are not the crap at the Oyster Bake. BEST fried oysters I have ever had. Spicy and worth the $12!!! I wasn't trying to be a creepy homosexual in the restroom. I waited til I was alone. I am redoing mine at home and putting in black toilet and tile, so wanted pics to show my family who is the 100% against my color scheme. FABULOUS restroom and Same China appetizer plates I own at own. This place has good taste and tastes good.

This place is absolutely adorable, food is delicious (but pricy!), portions are perfect, and staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their menus, offering fantastic recommendations based on my dietary restrictions and preferences! They have a delightful brunch menu, even at 1-2pm, but the menu cycles depending on day and time. Food was expensive, but expected for the area and quality of food, so as long as you are aware of the prices before going, nothing is a huge surprise, nor is it unreasonable. Dining solo with a large Monte Cristo sandwhich for my entre, an upgraded side (I opted for tallow fried french fries instead of a salad or chips), and an alcoholic beverage from the bar, I still only spent about $35 before tip. The ONLY qualms I have are complicated parking (lot is large, but super full), and the noise. It was so loud that I couldn't be heard while I tried to chat on the phone to a friend, and my server had to repeat herself a few times. So if you're sensitive to noise, be aware it can get a little loud.

So this place was awesome! I'm from the South, (Mississippi) so Deep South! We are serious about our Southern food! So me and my Mom love to cook and can probably most if not all Southern food! However, it's nice to find a place where we can find good Southern food! AND Ida Claire is a funny name! Which could be a woman's name or a down south expression used by older adults! My Mom says this still to this day about something she's saying, "Wow about! Or like she didn't know that, or I can't believe it! If I had a suggestion, it would be some type of Greens, i.e., Collard, mustard, or turnip greens! For this is a Southern staple! Oh yeah, don't forget the corn bread to go with them! Great atmosphere, and staff! We had fried green tomatoes, crab cakes, seafood pasta, and shrimp and grits! Awesome drinks, and of course, I had a Mocow Mule! Love the patio!

Great food to grab brunch. The chicken was wonderful. The duck nachos were good with the use of homemade potato chips instead of a typical nacho chip. The portion size was worth the price.

Ida Claire – A Fantastic Date Night Spot! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) While visiting San Antonio for a business trip, I went on a date night with a local, and we decided to try Ida Claire. Though it was a bit of a drive from downtown, it was absolutely worth it! Parking & First Impressions • We parked in the back lot, which I do wish had better lighting—it felt a bit dark. • Walking inside, we were seated quickly despite arriving close to closing time. Ambience & Atmosphere • Bright, spacious, and beautifully designed, the restaurant had different seating areas for singles, couples, and families, making it feel very inviting. • The bathrooms were spotless—always a great sign! Food & Drinks • I started with a Belgian white beer, which the staff allowed me to sample first—a nice touch since I’m from New York and wasn’t as familiar with the local beer flavors. • We ordered two appetizers: ◦ Biscuits with pork gravy, strawberry preserves, and butter—all delicious, but the pork gravy was the standout! ◦ Crabcake with a seafood yellow cream sauce—not typically my go-to, but it was surprisingly good, even though it had more of a tuna-like taste than crab or salmon. • For the main course, I was torn between chicken & waffles (which I had never tried before!) and the seafood pasta. Since my date was getting the seafood pasta, I decided to join in and customize mine: ◦ I asked for red pepper chili flakes and a side of Cajun spices to kick up the heat. ◦ The waitress was wonderful and accommodated it without hesitation, making it into a Cajun-spicy seafood masterpiece. ◦ My date loved the idea so much that he did the same! Service & Special Touches • Our waitress was incredibly kind and took the time to chat with us. When she found out I was visiting for work and leaving soon, she surprised me with a free sample of biscuits and sides to take home! • Such a thoughtful gesture, and one that made me appreciate the hospitality even more. Final Thoughts • The food, service, and overall experience were top-tier. • We spent between $70 and $100, which was reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. • Highly recommend this place—whether you're a local or visiting, do yourself a favor and go! ⭐ Final Rating: 5/5 – An amazing Southern-inspired dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere!

Absolutely Phenomenal Experience at Ida Claire – San Antonio! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the inviting decor—it’s such a vibe and perfect for social media photos! But let’s talk about what really mattered: the food and service. Every single dish we ordered was beyond amazing. We had the chicken and waffles with eggs, fried ribs with sweet potato fries, bourbon pecan pie, and apple pie—each bite was a flavor explosion. You can literally taste the love and care that goes into everything. All the bread, dressing, and pasta sauces are made fresh in-house, and it shows. The flavors were deep, rich, and perfectly balanced. Even the mocktail I ordered was super tasty and refreshing! A huge shoutout to our server, Austin, who truly made the experience unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, helpful, and genuinely cared about our dining experience. His recommendations were spot on, and he made us feel so welcome. Austin added a personal touch that elevated our entire visit. If you’re in San Antonio, Ida Claire is a must-visit. Delicious food, a warm and stylish atmosphere, and standout service—what more could you ask for? We’ll definitely be back!

We popped in for a late dinner after a frustrating experience securing a rental car from SAT. Even though it was only 20 min before closing they happily seated us in their cozy patio. Our friendly and helpful waiter promptly brought some supremely tasty apps. Fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs, fresh salad, and sliders really hit the spot. The exact kind of southern comfort food we needed to reset the evening and calm our frayed nerves.

Went for my birthday and had the most wonderful time :) The decor and overall vibe is so good, the food was delicious and very well priced, and the staff were very personable and attentive! We got the cookie jar for desert, which came in the coolest container, and brought a candle out for me. Such a memorable experience.

First time at Ida Claire,my husband and I had a great lunch yesterday. Our waitress Taylor gave us the best recommendation and her entire service was great⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This place is fantastic. The service, food, environment, management, the ease of making/changing a reservation, it's all fantastic. From a food perspective we haven't had a single item that isn't good with my current favorite being the crawfish fritters with a mayo/mustard based sauce that is out of this world good. You'll want to go back time and time again just like we have.

We are regulars, some staff and management know us from our Sunday brunches at the bar top. Literally we always have a great experience! Yes there can be days where it’s super busy, food can take a tad longer, but it’s a busy restaurant! Especially for brunch! We understand that and the staff is always communicative in letting us know the progress of our order! The bar staff today was awesome, Gabby and Chase! But we always have great service and a good time! #regulars

The food is so good. The serving sizes are big. Bring your appetite. We started with some Nashville cauliflowers , they didn't disappoint but they did disappear. We couldn't finish everything but it was so delicious. Chicken waffles were good. The breading was good and crispy and spicy. Everything came together so nice.

Great Southern food that feels both unique and comforting at the same time. The atmosphere is a fun and quirky with mirrors on the ceiling, shoes adorning the dividers and general antique type decore throughout. The staff matched the southern vibes by being incredibly friendly and helpful to new diners. All the food was terrific (with the only real issue being the ham steak tasted a bit like a dirty grill). Grits were some of the best I have had in this area, and the baked goods hit all the right spots. Prices feel great for what you are getting, and we definitely walked out stuffed.

Love this spot. Cozy vibes, they have indoor and outdoor seating. The times I've been (brunch, dinner on a week day and Sunday) it was busy but not very packed. The good is delicious! Catfish is really good, I was told the salmon is Good, Fried green tomatoes a must, crawfish corn fritters are a different taste but I liked it, my teenager really liked the blueberry biscuits and hot honey chicken sandwich and the Steak and Noodle salad is very good has a asian flavor to it. If you go for brunch get a Espresso Martini yummy! The customer service is top tier! Everyone is so welcoming.

We visited on a Tuesday during Happy Hour and found the place charming. The service was great as well as the food. My husband ordered the chicken strips with side of red beans and rice and I ordered the redfish, that was recommended by Katelyn. The fish was delicious and light, my husband’s meal was super filling and just as good, especially the red beans and rice. Thanks to our server Katelyn for explaining the menu to us as first time guest and being so kind. We look forward to returning!

This is the epitome of southern home-cooked food. Whether you were fortunate to have amazing homecooked southern food or are trying it for the first time, this place hits every mark. There were no details forgotten in this concept, and it really shows. Lots of places have great food, but this place really put love in every dish. Nothing on the menu is short of amazing. The staff are great and execute perfectly. The ambiance is perfect southern charm. It's nice, but not stuffy.

Hands down, the best dining experience we have had in over a year. The atmosphere is elegant but relaxed and the menu is exquisite and delicious. The service was excellent and our server, Austin was very attentive and polite. I would urge you to dine here whenever possible and have a great experience! Seafood pasta with pepper flakes, beef talllo fries, Mediterranean shrimp salad, and wood grilled salmon. Hummingbird cake and Vice Cake.

I wish I took more pictures of the food, but I couldn't wait before I devoured these plates. I had a bowl of gumbo with crawfish (pictured) , the blackened redfish (pictured), and my husband had the steak frites. They were not skimpy with the seafood at all and my husband's steak was so tender you could cut with a fork. The main reason I wrote this 5-star review was because of the duck nachos appetizer. OH. MY. GOD. I've never had anything like that dish and I would come back just for that dish alone. I've had a favorite restaurant for 6 years and I can honestly say this is my new favorite spot. The food along with the service, was phenomenal. I've already recommended to coworkers and family. Great job guys!

Lovely time at Ida Claire with friends this last weekend. The interior is very nicely decorated, and there were high chairs, drawing sheets, and crayons available for littles! The food was delicious--definitely loved the green fried tomatoes and biscuits. And the pasta dishes were especially loved--the red snapper with orzo was so creamy (and great to share with my baby). We stopped after outdoors, and even though it is cold in January, they had very nice/warm heaters there to sit under. There was also a cute airstream "private room" on site that you can request to sit in if it isn't booked that night. Since it is the off season, it's worth an ask--looked cute!

Brunch at Ida Claire was a great experience and much better than a previous dinner visit I had. We went on a busy Saturday afternoon, but we were seated shortly after checking in and greeted promptly by our server, Zach, who was very knowledgeable and gave great menu recommendations. The food was really good. The steak and eggs were well cooked and seasoned, the grits were creamy with goat cheese, and the sunny side eggs were done perfectly. The blueberry biscuit was a standout and honestly took me back home. I also tried the Hangover Cure since I love coconut water. It was fresh and delicious, though a little sweet for my taste. Service was efficient, the restaurant was clean, and the music was at a comfortable volume. Overall, a solid brunch spot and one I would recommend.

My first time here and was a bit disappointed their French press was out but they at least had regular coffee and tea available. I had a cranberry mimosa which was crisp and refreshing and I ate their chicken and waffles. The seasoned fried tenders paired perfectly with the gravy and the sweet waffles and syrup complimented the tenders. The service along with the calming atmosphere made it a great choice to enjoy great food and drinks.

My daughter had her graduation here because of the vegan options. We loved the rustic shabby chic look and it was easy to decorate with some Amazon finds. Slightly pricey but it is worth it! The food is amazing, the service outstanding. Waiters calling you by name hits! Highly recommend!

Great freshly made food. The berry biscuits were tasty and warm. The French pressed coffee was rich in flavor. The quiche was perfectly made and the salad completed the serving well. The Proud Mary drink was well made. Definitely will come back.

Very interesting eclectic place! Unique options. We tried the sampler. Biscuits - very good, crusty outside and light inside. Pimento cheese dip n chips - very tasty. Fried green tomatoes - good, good crust. Gochujang cauliflower - excellent! Entrées were all great. Burger ...soft bun, flavorful and juicy. Croque Monsieur. Chicken n Waffles - beautiful and very tasty. Seafood pasta ....so good! Blackened Redfish ...so delicious. Banana bread French toast! Very tender and good. We tried the cobbler and cherry pie. I enjoyed the cobbler more than the cherry pie. For me, the cherries were over powered by the spices and the crust needed a little more flake to it. Just for my taste. The others at my table loved it! All in all ....a very wonderful experience. I'd love to go back and try more!

We came here based on Google reviews. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious. Our server Steven was helpful and accommodating. Answered all of our questions and provided excellent service. The chicken and waffles were a highlight. Soft and fluffy waffles, perfectly cooked chicken, and great portion size, almost too big, but that didn’t stop me from finishing it. The Benedict was also a highlight being served on their homemade biscuits. The French press coffee was a bit weak but Steven came up with another recommendation that was even better. It gets busy so come early and parking can be but tricky as well. You won’t be disappointed with your overall experience! Ida Clare this was a fun place to come. (Pun intended) ;)

Very quaint, rustic, lively environment. This was our first time and we were met with very warm hospitality. Had to wait a bit for the food, which is understandable because it was so yummy. I had steak and eggs with chimichurri sauce. The steak's flavor exuded a firewood taste which was a most welcomed dance on my palate. My son had a burger that was devoured in seconds and my partner had the fried chicken which I stole most of it. I highly recommend this spot. It's affordable, warm and inviting, not to mention how delicious the food is.

Gumbo, Chicken & Waffles, and Shrimp & Grits were fantastic! Cocktails were great as well. The chocolate cake was disappointing though. It was good, but not as good as the rest of the cuisine and cocktails.

Great New Breakfast Option! Ida Claire now serves breakfast from 8 to 11 AM during the week, and it's absolutely worth checking out. We went early in the morning and it was surprisingly quiet, which made for a relaxing start to the day. You can see the chefs prepping in their open kitchen layout which it adds a nice touch to the atmosphere. I tried the lemon poppyseed pancakes and they were amazing! They were fluffy, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet. I also had the "Ida Claire Breakfast" which came with eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and a slice of banana bread. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. They had a few drink specials going on, but I went for the hangover mocktail and it was so refreshing for a perfect non-alcoholic option for the morning. Definitely give their breakfast a try. It’s a hidden gem right now, but probably won’t stay quiet for long!

My husband took me for an anniversary dinner a couple months ago for the first time and I fell in love with the astrology trendy little vibe. The food was so good, and the service was top notch. Every single time I go I try a new dish and it never disappoints! In my last visit we had Alyssa as our waitress and she was so kind, and helpful and knowledgeable when it came to the menu. She just had an infectious smile and attitude and she deserves all the recognition and love for how amazing she is at her job!

The food was amazing! We started off with Ida’s Biscuits which were delicious and soft with a crispy outside and also came with a variety of sauces and jams which were each unique in their own way, one spicy and savory, one jelly, and a honey based butter which were all delicious! For our meals, I got a chicken fried ribeye with the house potatoes and my other half got the hot honey chicken sandwich and subbed for the lobster mac and chesese! We both loved our food! Some of the best classic lunch/ brunch meals we have had in a while! It was packed! This restaurant definitely seemed like the place to be for brunch on a weekend! The atmosphere was amazing! So much beautiful scenery to look around at before going in and despite it being such a hot day we were comfortable sitting outside because of the large fans in combination with the ceiling fans on the awning, multiple pieces of art on the back patio and side walkways and even a small water feature! Our server David was awesome! Helped us out with everything we needed and answered all of our questions about the menú! Great experience and would definitely eat here again!

Ate dinner on the patio late Sunday evening . The patio is lovely and very large with a huge fan. We sat outside with our dog and the waitress brought a large ceramic dog bowl for water. The food was delicious, server very attentive and our meal was prompt. Cookie jar dessert served inside the ceramic gnome - a must. The chocolate cookies were warm, thick and satisfying.

Great food, service and welcoming atmosphere. Our server, Destiny was awesome and took great care of us. I had not been Ida Claire in a few years and it was still a good as I remembered. Their red beans and rice are one of the best I have tasted. The jalapeno cornbread is next level.

Ida Claire's was as charming as it was delicious. The restaurant was fun, funky, eclectic, and tastefully designed. Our server Austin, was very well-informed, and professional. As for the food, it was very well executed and delicious. Our table ordered the Gumbo with crawfish, the Lazy Susan platter (fried green tomatoes, spicy cauliflower, baked biscuits w/ pimento cheese, homemade chips, and sauces) for appetizers. I ordered the Fried Chicken w/pimento Mac n Cheese, and my wife ordered the Salmon w/ a Kale and Brussels salad. The gumbo was solid, and it reminded me of my time in New Orleans. The lazy Susan platter had a lot of tasty options. I liked the biscuits with the honey butter. The Fried Chicken was everything you would want in fried chicken. Juicy, well-seasoned, and a nice airy, crispy batter. The Salmon was cooked perfectly and the salad was a nice compliment to the Salmon. I had a great time and experience at Ida Claire and would recommend this to anyone visiting San Antonio.

Entered and was seated by Pam. Twenty five minutes later still no drinks and four other tables after us were being served. I stopped the nearest waitress, Rachel, who profusely apologized, spoke with the manager and got us a complimentary appetizer even though she didn't have to do so. Rachel saved the dining experience. We were about ready to walk when she swooped in and took great care of us and said just to let her know anytime we came in and she would always take great care of us. Rachel kept checking on us and apologizing even though she had done nothing wrong. Thank you again Rachel for saving the day and serving us the delicious food that Pam almost caused us to walk away from. Pam had stated when she first sat us down that she would be back in a couple of minutes. She never even looked to our side of the dining room again.

Food was great, great taste, nice presentation. Service was poor from the host however our waiter Nick was amazing! He went above and beyond to accommodate our family in two different tables. It was our first time here. I would say that I might give this place a try one more time and see. Prices were okay.

I ordered the cobb salad, it was delicious until I bit down on something gritty in the lettuces, and that was not pleasant. The biscuits were delicious, the best I've ever had. My husband ordered the Smashburger double Patty it was amazing. They need to improve in cleaning their lettuces so it is NOT gritty😵‍💫 Our server is adorable but lacked servicing.

4.3 stars. Business dinner for our party of 9 on a weekday night. Service was consistent though at times a tad too frequent. Food was pretty good. The salmon was plated nicely though would’ve benefited from an extra side or add when compared to all the other entrees at the table. We did not do dessert but opted for more drinks. Overall, a good experience so I’d be willing to check it out again but definitely order something other than the salmon.

The breakfast was delicious and our Server was great he did an amazing job and was very attentive. On the way out I asked another Server about their coffee beans that they sold, since our Server wasn’t around (basically, asked which ones they used because I thought their Latte was delicious) but she was very dismissive, and rude. Wasn’t trying to be helpful at all. Didn’t want the beans after that

My partner and I dined at Ida Claire's today at the Quarry in San Antonio. Our server was Carter who was amazing! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to us throughout the entire dining experience. Our food was truly delicious and was noticeably made with heart and soul - compliments to the chefs and bakers. We both had the steak and eggs. The grits were fantastic. The only part of our dining experience that was off-putting was the conversation that a group of workers (possibly servers?) were having near our table. There were about 5 of them close to the napkin and cutlery station who were sharing what would be considered inappropriate details of bodily fluid and personal conversation that we found to be distasteful and should not be shared around guests. It was detailed enough to where we did not feel we could finish our food comfortably at the table. We would still like to dine here in the future as the food and overall hospitality was great. However, we are not satisfied with our experience today.

I went to Ida Claire for brunch and had a (mostly) great experience. I ordered the chicken and waffles, the chicken had great flavor, but unfortunately, I bit into a piece of bone or cartilage.. which wasn’t very pleasant. The waffles, however, were excellent! I also tried the mac and cheese with the Ida fried chicken, and it was delicious. The atmosphere was super casual and laid-back, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Our server was friendly and attentive, which added to the positive experience. Overall, a solid brunch spot, I’d definitely come back, but I’d hope for a little more attention to detail with the chicken! PS- the fried green tomatoes were extremely good!!!!

The cheeseboard was okay.. I was a bit underwhelmed with the price for what was on there, but that seems to be a commonality with SA these days... anyhow. The food all tasted very good but everyone had very upset stomachs by the next day. Not sure what happened there, but it might have been an off-day. It's usually not an indicator of the establishment but likely of a single person who was handling the plates. Another thing I must share is that the server looked irritated with our table. We felt rushed. The server clearly forgot that we were not there for her and were not on her time. Besides those minor parts, the environment is lovely. Decor is beautiful, the food was really good. It was a bit loud, though-We couldn't really hear each other well. Overall, I would go back to try again.

I stopped by Ida Claire for a late breakfast on a quiet Tuesday morning, and I’m so glad I did! The outdoor seating is super inviting, perfect for a relaxed start to the day. I was seated immediately, and my server was friendly and attentive. I ordered the lemon poppy seed pancakes, sausage patties, and an over-medium egg. Taste-wise: The pancakes leaned more blueberry than lemon, but the poppy seeds were well-distributed, adding a nice texture. The menu listed that whip cream came on the pancakes, but mine wasn’t prepared as advertised. My egg? Cooked to absolute perfection. The sausage patties had an unexpected spicy kick—definitely a surprise, but a tasty one! Service was quick, the atmosphere was great, and the food was solid. I’ll definitely come back to explore more of the menu. If you’re looking for a cozy breakfast spot with good vibes, Ida Claire is worth checking out!

Service was amazing, we really liked our server Ki. Food presentation was great, wasn’t the biggest fan of the bacon butter that came on the tenders however the seasonings in the tenders were great. Also didn’t too much like the grits, they gave more of a cornmeal type texture. Biscuits were cold. It was our first visit, food was okay. Just wasn’t exactly what we were expecting.

Honestly, and I mean this with so much love, I do not think I saw anyone of the staff smile or seem like they were having fun in this restaurant besides a few back of house team members. It felt like I couldn't ask the staff questions and everything was moving really fast. When I got my food, it arrived with less dressing then I usually like. When I went to ask for extra salad dressing on the side the staff was a little to quick to try and fix the issue and instead just added extra dressing on top. It ended up being to much for me and I did not eat most of my meal. This ended up being fine because all the other food we got was great and the salad ended up being perfect for my friend, so we switched meals. If I was here alone though, it would have just been a bust for me. I did go on a weekend and it was busy so keep this in mind but I have experience more positive environments at different restaurants during stressful rush hours. I think it's probably best to go here during not busy days or to book a reservation. The food is good, the menu is big, the portions are great and the atmosphere is super cool. I would come back, just not on a weekend or holiday. I see this place as a great one for family dinners.

A solid experience all around. Most everything has a good spice level. The ribs were great- tender and not overdone. Red beans & rice were solid southern. A bit loud in the dining room-acoustics are pretty bouncy. Service was good but not extremely fast. We'll be back to try some other treats.

A Lovely Family Lunch at Ida Claire I had the pleasure of dining at **Ida Claire** in San Antonio today with my granddaughter and daughter-in-law for a relaxed lunch. (2nd visit). This quirky Southern-inspired spot in the Alamo Quarry area lives up to its reputation for charming decor—think funky farmhouse vibes with eclectic touches that make it feel warm and inviting. We had a 1:00 PM reservation, but arrived during the lunch rush and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. The hostess was very apologetic and accommodating, which set a positive tone. The place was packed with a lively buzz—families celebrating graduations, birthdays, and more. By around 1:15, things quieted down nicely, making conversation easier. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, doing his best to ensure everything went smoothly. The French press coffee was spot-on—rich and just the right strength. For food: I originally wanted the chicken pot pie, but they were unfortunately out, so I opted for the **Chicken & Waffles**. It was exactly what you'd expect from this classic: crispy fried tenders atop a bacon-laced waffle, with sunny eggs, coffee-infused maple syrup, hot sauce butter, and black pepper gravy. Solid and satisfying, though nothing overly spectacular. Note that it doesn't come with any sides. My granddaughter ordered the **Tennessee Hot Tenders** (likely their version of Nashville hot chicken). She found them sweeter than the usual spicy kick she prefers, so she didn't finish much of it. My daughter-in-law loved her **Chicken and Kale Salad** (or possibly the sandwich version with soup of the day on the side)—she raved about the fresh ingredients and flavors, and cleared her plate. Overall, the food was good Southern comfort with nice twists, though portions and presentation feel a bit pricey for what you get. The atmosphere and service made it a pleasant family outing, and I'd return for the vibe and coffee alone. A solid 4 stars—great for special lunches, just come prepared for the slightly upscale pricing!

First time here, service was friendly and helpful. Lavender matcha was great. Ida's biscuits were nice and fresh, definitely the best part of the meal. Had the chicken and waffles, the dish was nice and hot, chicken was a bit dry need more gravy but still good. Would go back to try different menu items.

This was our first time ever at Ida Claire, so I was excited to give this place a try. Our waiter did a great job of quickly attending to us, even though we arrived a bit late to a birthday party. Food: My husband loves kale, 🫣 So he ordered the Chicken and Kale salad and he loved it. The portion was generous and he ate every single last leaf of it. I, on the other hand, ordered something completely opposite... I ordered the Chicken and Waffles, for dinner! I was anxious to give it a try and I must say, it did not disappoint. The chicken was amazing! It was crispy on the outside, but yet very moist on the inside. Remember my husband... the kale salad guy, well it didn't take long for him to sneak over and steal a piece of my chicken and he loved it too. The waffles were thick and delicious and the two over easy eggs were just right. I ended up taking my waffles home and enjoying them the next day for breakfast. Atmosphere: Rustic and vintage is the vibe I got from them. There was a surprise at every corner. Just when our eyes caught a glimpse of something interesting, we'd quickly get distracted with something else! The outdoor decor was fun and brought back memories of easier days, I just loved it all. Price: It was a bit on the higher end than I'm used to, but it's a place I wouldn't mind going to for those special occasions. Disappointments: You know the feeling you get when you drop in at a friend's house and they were in the middle of an argument with their spouse but you didn't know... but you can feel the tension in the air? Yeah, that's how it felt in there. As I looked across the room, the sentiment was the same... they were doing their jobs but they were not happy. They talked to their customers ok, but they walked around with a very indifferent look on their faces, even the manager had that look. It made for a very uneasy feeling in the end. I hope it was just a fluke and not the norm. In the end we really enjoyed the food and decor, and honestly the food we ordered was amazing. I hope in the future their employees can say they enjoy it too because the truth is, it's not just the food, but it's the people who work there that make you want to return over and over again. I hope to give them a try again soon.

We came right when they opened at 11. I wasn’t sure if they were going to be busy so I made a reservation for 3. There were a few parties that walked in before us and were asked if they made a reservation so I’m assuming they prefer reservations. The inside is FREEZING cold. Bring a jacket! I appreciated that the outdoor seating had a few shaded and covered areas. Our server was sweet, but clearly in the weeds even though it wasn’t busy. I’m assuming it was a busy lunch day and they didn’t have enough staff. She kept forgetting small things (refills, silverware, box, etc) The food wasn’t that impressive in general. We really liked the fried green tomatoes and the biscuits though. I had the Monte Christo. I felt like the ham was dry and the jam and other sauce it came with wasn’t a good pairing. The potatoes wedges were HUGE and under seasoned so they just tasted like dry potatoes. My husband had the chicken and waffles and said he had better at smaller, less fancy restaurants. Pecan pie was delicious!

V
Verolnique Gray

I’ve been to this restaurant twice, and whew… let me tell y’all. **First visit:** The male manager was super polite and attentive — 10/10 customer service energy. Even though he accidentally brought me ribs instead of my Monte Cristo (and listen… I don’t eat ribs, that’s just not my ministry 😂), they at least *looked* done. So I let it slide. I also ordered the shrimp and grits… and baby… the grits were **gritten**. I mean gritty gritty. Like sand-at-the-beach gritty. Now the sauce and shrimp were actually good, but I’m confused — who tested these grits before they went out to the public? People really be playing too much. 😒😂🤣 So I spoke with the manager, Amber, and she kindly offered to replace my meal and remake everything. Great customer recovery so far. **Second visit (the remake pickup):** I called my order in a little late, but when I arrived the bag was ready and waiting. I asked the hostess to double-check everything before I left (because… trust issues now 😭). She opened the bag and immediately told me the food was cold and couldn’t be remade. When she pulled the trays out: * The shrimp and grits portion was way smaller than before. * And the Monte Cristo… y’all… it was **black**. Not toasted. Not well done. BLACK black. I truly wish I had taken photos, but the staff saw it — including the waitress, who also looked at the sandwich like, “Oh no…” with visible disgust. Now I hate even going here mentally, but I’m going to say it: I am a beautiful copper-tone melanated woman (it’s in my walk and my talk), ordering from a restaurant connected to a winner from Hell’s Kitchen in San Antonio… so I couldn’t help but wonder — was this frustration about the remake? Or something else? The bag was handed to me anyway. I threw the whole thing in the trash. What makes this frustrating is: * The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and out. * The first manager was kind. * I tipped on my first visit. * Two meals with no drinks came out to almost $60. Amber was reportedly in a meeting when I came for the remake, so I couldn’t speak with her directly. At the end of the day, I’m just left asking… **why was I treated like this?**

Love the retro yet classy vibe. The outdoor seating is awesome. Drinks were good and service was accomidating and nice. Food, on the other hand, was okay at best. Cornbread was so dry it was inedible. Ribs were surprisingly meaty but cooked inconsistently...some bites good, others noticeably dry, fried Brussels were fine...wish there was something to offset the oily taste..something sweet perhaps.

First time and it was an upbeat place, a little loud. The customer service was great and the food was pretty good my hamburger did not disappoint, the Brussels sprouts were not my fav and the pasta tasted like it had Franks Red Hot, didn’t care for the pasta. Overall, will definitely come back to try their brunch.

Food from scratch. Service and atmosphere: Both were very good. The restaurant is nice and offers many seating options, however, due to its popularity the wait for the table is a bit long. Staff were nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Food and drinks: Very good selection of cocktails and any other drinks that you may fancy. Food was a bit of a hit and miss. - The fried green tomatoes with herb sauce were spot on. The tomatoes were fried very well. Retained nice texture and paired well with the sauce. - chicken fried ribeye dish. The fried ribeye was really tasty and the sunny side up eggs went well with it. The breakfast potatoes were cut into way too small pieces and had no texture and were full of oil. I left them aside after only one mouthful. Unfortunately, our mains arrived more than 50 minutes after we placed the order as the order was not placed on time. Pricing: $$

This place fluctuates between three and five stars for us. First thing on a weekday, it is easily a five star experience. My kids love it, the staff are consistently nice, and the service is good and attentive. On weekends, though, we have experienced waits around forty minutes. The place sometimes has a strong cheese smell when you walk in, which honestly is usually a good sign. Where it drops to three stars is the fried green tomatoes. The slices were very small. It honestly looked like they picked the smallest tomatoes they could find. We received about five slices, each maybe two inches wide. At that price point, the portion felt a bit disrespectful. The flavor was fine, but the value just did not match the cost. Overall, solid service and a family friendly spot, but the appetizer left us underwhelmed for what we paid. We ended up leaving before ordering a meal.

I can’t speak highly enough about their food!! I love eggs Benedict, and their country Benedict is just about the best I’ve ever had. The crawfish and corn fritters a.k.a. hush puppies are amazing! The problem is the service! The eggs Benedict was not just room temperature, but actually cold. When we told the server she explained that it probably sat under a vent that pipes the kitchen smell out of the building and thought that was a sufficient explanation. I’ve been here several times because the food always brings me back, but the service ALWAYS SUCKS! Also, this time a had wilted/rotten lettuce in my side salad 😩

The atmosphere was perfect! However they were not busy at all. Food cane our cold and when asked foe it to be heated, we were told they would make a new plate. The exceeded expectations but didn't come out in a timely manner. The entire table was done when we got the new dinner back.

I have been there prior. That experience was great overall. Today. The service was a no go. The waitress attended us twice. Then basically forgot about us. The food was sitting on the counter for 15 minutes. Then when it got to us it was cold. We sent it back. Just the lack of attention to the customer was way off. Lots of people seemed to be waiting long period of times. Definitely not a fan today.

I’ve eaten at Ida Claire before and usually love it, but today’s brunch was a big letdown. My $13 margarita was tiny and we couldn’t even get the flavor we wanted because the machine was broken. We ordered a couple of appetizers but didn’t receive any silverware until the entrées came out. When we first sat down, the water glasses had noticeable stains, which immediately felt unsanitary, and there were gnats flying around our table. The food itself—normally the highlight—was just average this time. No salt or pepper on the table, long waits for basic items, and an overall lack of attention to detail made the whole experience feel sloppy. I know this restaurant can do much better because I’ve had great meals here before, but today was definitely not up to their usual standard.

First & last time dining at this place. The only thing I liked was the decor. My boyfriend picked this place for his birthday dinner, which we specified in the reservation because sometimes restaurants will see that and at least say happy birthday when you arrive. This place didn't care. When we arrived it took the hostess about 3 minutes to acknowledge us and when she did she had an attitude. We were taken to our table about 5 minutes later, it was very wobbly but waiter did wedge something under it to fix it. This place has an open kitchen which my boyfriend liked but I don't really care for. We ordered a crab cake for an appetizer which depending on appetite may not be a shareable size. It wasn't terrible but was lacking in flavor. Also ordered lobster mac & cheese the portion is definitely not worth $19, it was creamy but again very bland, more like a kids mac & cheese. I had the salmon with corn succotash. Very disappointed salmon was not seasoned and vegetable medley was lukewarm also very small portion for $30. Boyfriend had the ribs which come with a dry jalapeño biscuit like thing and don't let the picture fool you they are stacked this way to make the portion look larger but again not enough food. I have no problem paying top dollar for good food and good portions but this place is definitely not worth it. Don't waste your time.

Unfortunately, I've had to ammend my review and change the overall rating to 2-Star from 5-Stars. I came here last year with a friend and had brunch. Coffee was luke warm at best. The server fixed it but honestly, how are you ever serving luke warm coffee? I hadn't been back until last night, and once again, we had food tempreature isses. Ida's buscuits were room tempreature and old, like they had been sitting around for a while. When my entrée arrived, the eggs were also room tempreature, as if they were cooked first and left to sit while the remainder of the food was prepared. This is really unfortunate as this used to be one of my favorite places to treat myself. But now that I've had cold (room tempreature) food/coffee twice in a row, I see a pattern of sub-par quality. Mind you this was a Monday night with less than 7 tables seated in the entire restaurant.

*UPDATE I emailed them to “reach out” like they asked & no response in 3 days lol they didn’t even get my first name correct, called me Branson. 🤣 Went for lunch, arrived at 11:35am. Was told a 45 minute wait, so okay that’s fine. So we sit outside and just look at the building for an hour & a half. 1:15pm comes around & everyone else that came in with me was already leaving. I go ask the host what’s going on, they immediately say “1 tables in front of you”. They sit me outside beside the table outside that was open the entire time we waited. So now, we are sat at 1:35pm outside 102 degrees outside. Waitress comes, takes our order. 2:20pm finally get our drinks, forgets a latte. 2:20pm finally get our food. Burger was damn near raw, I didn’t even care I just ate and asked for ketchup for my “shoelace fries” things are trash btw. I finish my food and she comes with the ketchup “sorry it’s really busy back there” as if ketchup is some gourmet meal. So if you plan on eating here, cancel all plans cause you’ll be waiting for hours. Food is definitely mediocre & the price is ridiculous for what they serve. Didn’t even get to see the inside of the place, sat in the heat for 3 hours. So left my house at 11am & didn’t get back till 3:30pm for a simple lunch.

***Update: The email provided in the response was not a legitimate address. Furthermore, the communication was not a personal apology from GM Casey. Given the time and money that have been wasted, the focus is on finding a resolution, not on receiving an apology. After a great experience at the Addison location in Dallas, we were let down by our visit to the San Antonio Quarry and were sorry to have recommended it to our relatives. We did a pickup and the value did not align with the cost, as we found the portion sizes, presentations, and flavor profiles of the food to be unsatisfactory at this location. The preparation of the ribs resulted in a less-than-ideal texture, and the pasta lacked a developed flavor profile. General Manager Casey's reaction was callous and insulting after being informed that three family members had been sickened by food from his restaurant. Two of the diners had eaten the ribs, while the third had ordered the shrimp and crab plate. The general manager Casey initially cited a lack of other complaints, and when pressed on the matter, callously blamed the incident on the family's lack of poor hygiene not even considering the possibility of his staff members lack of hygiene . It's unfortunate that this is the only location in San Antonio and that Casey the general manager lacks professionalism and empathy. They should consider benchmarking Casey's performance against the successful strategies employed by the Dallas GM.
