It was very nice and clean. A wonderful verity of dishes to choose from.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lin’s is one of my favorite buffet spots in San Antonio, and it always feels like a great value. The variety is honestly impressive. There are so many different options that everyone can find something they like, and everything we tried was fresh and constantly being restocked. My favorite part was the udon and pho section. Being able to build your own bowl and get it hot and made the way you want is such a win, especially on a day when you want something warm and comforting. The flavors were really good, and it tasted fresh instead of watered down like some buffet soups can be. The sushi area was another highlight. There were plenty of options, the rolls were nicely put together, and it stayed stocked so you did not feel like you were picking through what was left. I also loved how easy it was to grab a few pieces, try different kinds, and go back for more without feeling rushed. Overall, Lin’s has a huge selection, good quality for a buffet, and a clean setup with staff who keep everything moving smoothly. If you are in San Antonio and want a buffet with lots of variety plus solid sushi and a great noodle soup station, I definitely recommend it.
There was an abundance of food and most was phenomenal (didn't personally care for the prk ribs) but literally from the crab legs to the sweet and sour chicken to the sushi to the row of desserts it was delicious. Clean, pretty, service was on point (remembering its still a Chinese buffet not a michellen 5 star resort). We will be back kids and wife loved it too!
A Beautiful Blend of Nostalgia and Fresh Flavor Lynn’s Seafood and Sushi is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is stunning, crystal chandeliers sparkling overhead, authentic Chinese décor with elegant vases, rich colors, and a thoughtful theme that sets a graceful tone. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the buffet was pristine, well-stocked, well-kept, and full of vibrant, delicious options. We went during a busy lunchtime rush, yet everything was immaculate and organized. The service was kind and attentive, and every staff member made us feel genuinely welcome. There was something nostalgic about it, it brought back memories of going to Chinese buffets with my family as a kid, that same comforting feeling of abundance and warmth. Lin’s captures that beautifully while adding a refined, modern touch. I’ll definitely be back, highly recommend to anyone craving great food in a beautiful, inviting setting.
This place was 10/10 The service was A1 My son was a looking for apple pie and they didn't have any .. no problem Someone came from the back w a whole plate full of pie and brought it to the table That alone... Made my night But all the food was genuinely great and fresh Thank you for a great experience!!
Lin's seafood buffet was absolutely amazing the steak was cooked to perfection and full of flavor and the sushi was fresh and delicious what really stood out was the huge variety of dishes they had everything from fried favorites to fresh raw options plus plenty of sides and desserts to choose from no matter what you're in the mood for there's something for everyone here the quality selection and overall experience definitely make this buffet worth visiting
This restaurant truly exceeded our expectations for sushi selection! All their food on the line is fresh and so is the sushi. Fairly prized for a buffet which includes steaks. The waitress was kind and prompt with refills. Went on a Friday a little past lunch, and it was busy but not packed. This is a new location, and I highly recommend it. Not much of a regeton person, and that’s the music they had playing, but other than that, the place is clean and gorgeous! Plenty of parking with wheelchair accessibility.
Mary Carmen was such an attentive server. I loved the lo mein, the mushrooms and green beans—there were several vegetarian choices. The egg custard bun and sesame bun were delicious. The dessert bar was beyond full of choices! I don’t eat meat but there were so many items to choose from—brisket, seafood, sushi…such a great price for everything available. And good quality and cleanliness. Fun soundtrack, too.
A better than average Chinese buffet joint. The seafood variety and quality were much better than expected. They even have pho/noodle station, as well as good variety of dishes. Overall, it has a good selection and clean environment. The seafood section is outstanding, and the taste did not disappoint. The service was good also. It is brand new. I hope they keep the quality up. It is my favorite joint for now. The photos will speak for themselves.
Some people are complaining about their prices. Although it is a bit higher than other buffets, this Lin's has all you can eat snow crab legs, both hot and cold...and lots of it - a lot. And they keep bringing more out. It was never empty. I thought it was a fair price. They were delicious. Wish they had blue crab too. Lots and lots of selections here. I wish their spicy dishes were even spicier. Great waitstaff. I typically finish my dinner with some fruit as desert; but I was way too full. My son liked the crab legs too. He really liked the uramaki (rice-outside roll), chicken wings, and the crawfish. Thank you. My son and I will be back.
Dinner was $23.99 on Monday night (12/8/25). The buffet was clean with a wide mix of Chinese dishes and plenty of seafood selections. They had both hot and cold crab legs, which was a nice surprise. The restaurant still feels new and well kept, and the staff was friendly. The green beans and beef and broccoli were great, and the seafood overall was the highlight. I’d recommend it and would definitely go back.
Food is exceptional. Service is fair. The price has increased to $26.99 per person. They hiked up the price. The food is good here at the buffet but not top notch. The removed the crab legs from the buffet. No Mongolian option on buffet either like other places in San Antonio. To each their own, best wishes.
Nice selection of foods especially seafood. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was too noisy. Kids running around. But..... it is ridiculously expensive for the selection of food and the quality of the taste. Food was slightly above average good and warm but crazy expensive. I spent $172 for 5 adults and a ten year old child. Last time I go there
This was another Chinese restaurant with nothing special. I was there during the lunch crowd. Nice atmosphere, pretty decorations. Location is a little difficult to maneuver. Plenty of free parking and handicap parking as well. Wheelchair accessible. I will go back for the dinner to see if they may have some different items.
Good food, clean with quality. I noticed they mark your receipt if you tip or not. That’s why I gave them the 3 stars. I feel like I should tip based on the service… not before.
Just left was my second time there. PRICEY even during lunch time which is supposed to be more "affordable". Food is good not the best and not much options but no complaints. Service is POOR theres ONE server that is always sweet and is attentive the rest.. Horrible. Stared my boyfriend down the first time i came and he felt like they were rushing us to go? I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. NOPE again this time just eyeing in our general area and pointing. Not even a hour in.. I was uncomfortable eating my food the entire time and didn't want to eat either. Bad experience. Edible food. The manager and servers are whats driving ppl away at this point. 4/10
I don't want to sound like a hater. This is only based on my experience. Place seemed new so everything seem in order and cleaned. Lack of food options compared to other places. Tried the Pepper steak, chicken w/ shrimp, fried fish, steak, ribs, rice, the brisket, sausage, wontons. Im sure that Walmart has better fried fish. It was the only thing I couldnt finished. The rest was ok. I dont know what I was expecting from the Brisket on a Asian buffett so I will not judge it. It wouldnt be remotely fair. Overall, it lacked flavor even tho it was hot and fresh. Food tasted blend and lack of seasoning. Service was good. Employees were very welcoming. Price? Definitely not worth it!
Lin’s Seafood Buffet used to be my go-to spot for many, many years. It was always a busy place, and my family genuinely loved the food. The quality and service have consistently been good, and I still have no complaints there. Unfortunately, the pricing has changed things. Over time, prices have steadily gone up, and it became even more noticeable after they opened the newer location on 410. Now, a buffet meal for a small family of four—including two kids—can easily run over $100, which is hard to justify for a buffet. What really stands out is that the new location often feels empty compared to how packed this place used to be. That alone says a lot—people have clearly stopped coming as frequently. It’s not because the food or service declined, but because the prices have reached a point where it makes many customers uncomfortable. I wish I could keep coming back since my family enjoys this place, but at these prices, I’ve had to stop and start looking elsewhere. It’s disappointing, because this used to be a regular favorite.
This lins was my Go To Chinese buffet but sadly I went Thursday night and while I was browsing through the seafood I had saw a dead fly on one of the oysters . I reached out to one of the lady’s handling with the food and she ended up grabbing the oyster with the food tongs and placed it in a bin . I did go to the lady in the front desk and she apologized but I did not get a refund or any type of apology from the owner and he did show up right after I spoke to the lady . Very disappointed and will not be going there again . It’s really disgusting to had seen the fly on the oyster knowing they can lay as many eggs as they can , hopefully no one else experiences this situation , not only is it nasty but there not keeping an eye out on the food and making sure everything is nice a and fresh . And No I did not take a photo which I should had but it is on there surveillance camera (the front desk lady told me they will check the cameras )
My boyfriend and I went to this establishment for a dinner date on Friday night. As it is a buffet, I can say they do offer a wide selection . However, the experience was not what it should have been especially for the price. If I could see into the future I would never have gone to this restaurant. We ended up within 30 minutes of leaving both getting sick although we ate very differently from the menu choices. My meal consisted of small portions and their fresh soup. The men behind the counter who are supposed to be helping me with my soup order were very rude and I felt rushed. I also had a steak.I had green beans and he had mainly seafood. Once again, we both were very sick when we called the restaurant the next day to let them be aware so that other customers wouldn’t have the same experience, they were incredibly rude and told us to go to the doctor and get a note showing that that’s actually where we got sick from. Having been that we hadn’t seen one another all day and didn’t share anything in common other than eating at the same restaurant, it was very adamantly clear that we were sick from the restaurant itself. The glass noodles is the culprit that we both had in common. I firmly believed that that is what got sick because when I was eating it I noticed that it had a very fishy smell, although there was no fish anywhere to be seen in the noodles. I do not recommend this place and we will not be going back and I suggest that others do not either. I do believe that it is overpriced which we have no problem paying for a good meal. There are other establishments that are similar that we have had better experiences that were less costly both financially and physically.
