First timer and man those burgers are good. Sadly I asked for a custard and was given a shake but all was good, I wasnt mad, mistake happen, then the person who took my order realized his mistake and gave me a free custard! So nice, he didnt have to, I was more than fine with the shake.

Great atmosphere, great service and great food. This is the second time eating these bugers and my family loved them. Buns were soft and warm, meat was tender and juicy and the fries were on point. I love the fact that they have cold water and cups and is FREE. One thing I really recommend for corporate to do is COMBOS, will be looking forward to it. Overall Shake Shack is good and will keep on going.

Was definitely a great call to pick this place! Great atmosphere (music has just enough pep but not overly loud, clean and kept up on, etc), fantastic customer service (super friendly, genuine smiles, food brought to table for dine in), food was cooked exceptionally well and tasted great! Check out their seasonal lemonades! They have a fun condiment I haven't seen before made from Serrano peppers, highly recommend. The truffle butter that came with their parmesan fries and black truffle burger was so good we took the rest home! I think it's only seasonal, so get it before it's gone again!

My burger was perfectly salted, the shake was perfectly flavorful, the fries were crunchy and cheesy - very clean with all the workers on task and there was a worker who greeted us at the front! I would recommend but they are expensive - humble regards “sillylilly”

Second visit here and it was consistent and if you go out to eat enough you know that’s a hard thing to come by right now. Burgers are tasty and the lemonade was solid. Spicy bacon cheese fries are clutch and the Ping Pong was an added bonus

First time here. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable on their menu. I ordered the chicken shack sandwich with cheese fries. Oh my gosh!!!!! This chicken sandwich was the best I have ever had by far... and the cheese fries were perfect, cheese was not over powering, just delicious!

I am halfway through my burger and I love all the ingredients in them so far. Bread is sweet like Hawaiian rolls, the shack sauce is better warm, the pickles are fresh, the tomato is juicy and the lettuce is fresh. I love it, I'll be back.

Stopped in for a burger and fries. Was welcomed by a lady at the counter and she let me know because of the Corona virus they only had take out orders. She and all the employees had gloves. The dining area was closed off. Order was ready in no time. The lady was courteous and prompt. Burger and fries were delicious. Will come back after the Corona fades away to try the inside dining. The first time here we tried a couple of burgers and fries. It was good enough to bring us back for dinner to try the hot chicken sandwiches. Out of this world. The service was so fast and friendly. These two experiences is why we are giving it 5 stars. I just brought my family in to try it out and it was disappointing. Neither of the hot chicken sandwiches had any heat, and there was like half a teaspoon of slaw on it. I'm still leaving the 5 star pending my next visit, but not too soon due to this visit.

Arrived in town late in the evening and found this place close by. Glad we did I ordered the Shroomburger. It was a deep fried portobello mushroom filled with Muenster and cheddar cheese. AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!. I never even get close to finishing a whole burger but I could not stop eating this one that's how good it was!. It was so crispy and the cheese just melted right out of the mushroom with every bite. I will definitely go back just to order this very burger. Must say I'll have a hard time trying anything else on the menu for sure!

Always a great time and experience when I visit. Been coming to Shake Shack for years at different locations and the Smoke Shack is my go to when it comes to a spicy burger! (It's the one with red peppers) - the Peanut Butter concrete is an exclusive to San Antonio due to the cookie being baked locally! Make sure to order it if you have a sweet tooth! Cage Free chicken, 100% all natural Angus beef (antibiotic free), and a portion of concrete sales go to charity! Staff is always super friendly and make great recommendations. So if you haven't tried it, be sure to ask!! Want an awesome burger with great flavor?! Ask for a side of peanut butter sauce! Gives it a nice texture and taste to any burger! Thank me later mates! My daughter has celiac, and the staff was amazing. They explained the process of cleaning their fryers, even though they have dedicated fryers for fries, they wanted to inform us. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious, my daughter left so happy.

It was not my first time with this brand but it was my first on this location. We were a party of two and a poochie. As soon as we went in the cashier greeted us promptly and offered us to help. We were indecisive so she made suggestions and explained the dressings and sizes. The gave us drink tastings for the different lemonades. She really made a us welcome. The order didn’t take that long and it was very tasty. The size of the burger is moderate compared to other burger joints and all the sides are separate. The only issue was that the patio was dirty but the overall experience was great! Definitely coming back!

Great and different options for burger lovers! The restaurant was very clean even though it was full which was really nice. The portobello burger was really good! And the shake shack too. Definitely one of the best “chain” burgers out there.

The crew is always so amazing from the moment we walk in the door. Today we met Tobias who shared his love of ShakeShack and all the opportunities he has had to train and be trained. We met Eddie who clearly loves his team and is proud of their excellence. We also met Kiaya who jumped in to help two young Airmen on their first visit. All three were the perfect examples for our teenagers who were with us. And did I mention the food is delicious?? I mean. How could it get any better.

We had another wonderful experience at this Shake Shack location. Last week, we placed an online order for pick-up and ate inside the restaurant, but our food had gotten cold because we didn’t account for traffic. When the manager asked how everything was, we told her it was our fault for ordering too early. Even though we took responsibility, she still gave us a free shake card and a $25 gift card to make sure we left happy. That level of customer care really impressed us. We visited again today and used the gift card to enjoy two amazing burgers. Our original plan was to eat Mexican food, but the two restaurants we went to were so dirty that we decided to return to the one place we trust for cleanliness and quality: Shake Shack. There's nothing more than what I love more than my kids is a great spacious Shake Shack!! I did go at an off time but still, AMPLE parking and was able to pick up my order seamlessly! I used my T-Mobile rewards for a free Shack Burger and also ordered a few things for my son and husband. Got their chicken bites, grilled cheese, BLT and their strawberry frosted donuts shake which was amazing btw!

We had the double, the truffle and the single for the kids to share. The burger was too oily for me but it was good. Not too salty or anything. Fries were good, the cheese on the fries could have been better. They did get our order wrong and let us have the wrong order burger and made us a new one. They also delivered us someone else's order. Two hiccups in one visit isn't that great but service also includes rectifying. So that was good enough for us.

It is family's atmosphere, and lots of food, we couldn't finish the whole course, plus the waitress speaks American English, she can explain every meal in an easy understandable Way.

Good and clean place. Burgers aren't huge but they're delicious. They offer military discounts, just make sure you ask for it if they don't ask you.

Food was good, service too. Social distancing started out ok but a large group girls basketball team and their families showed up. From a large local church (Corner Stone) here in SA. I'm usually not a big fan of big corporate food chains, but I will make an exception for Shake Shack. It is always a good meal everytime I go. I like that they have expanded their menu. Always a go-to whenever I travel out of town, since I don't have one in El Paso, TX.

Almost perfect. A bit overpriced if you’re looking for large portions for your money. Service is surprisingly superior to most fast food type spots. The food was fresh and delicious but small portion perfect for what we were looking for but it’s not the typical TEXAS size portions! The blood orange drink was pretty dang good too!

The crew and the ambiance was just chill - food was really good! I am not an avid fan of burgers but this place is an exception. We always order their vanilla malted together with our entree. Service was outstanding for the past visits from the manager to crew members. However during our last visit, a lady who took our order of Vanilla shake malted mistaken it to just vanilla shake. We were unaware so we took a sip as soon as served. It’s an easy fix as we know the staff were just really friendly, so when we realized the situation we approached a staff and he asked for the manager, then the woman who took the order intervene and asked what was the situation. She ask me to throw the vanilla shake and stay in the counter and wait for the new one to be made with the voice appears to be our fault and no apologies to her action nor words. We got our vanilla malted! I am a huge fan of Shake Shack food and their service. I hope that the staff can streamline a good approach on this kind of situation.

First time here 09/01/18. I love to set up and the environment. It's was very laid back. The patio is awesome and spacious. They had a ping pong table and foozeball table. Extra points for that! The food....I ordered a shack burger but it only had lettucs and tomotoes. I asked for the shack sauce ( in house made Mayo) on the side and added pickles and onions. I ordered fries sold seperately. The burger was good but the patties were thin like they were pressed down. That's why I gave it 4 stars. But it still hit the spot. I'm not sure about the shack sauce I just added as I ate to see how it would taste on the burger. The fries were good nothing special but good. Overall I enjoyed it and would be back. Their chicken sandwich looks so good. I will order that next time. Fun place.

Great atmosphere. Pretty hip and modern. Clean restrooms. The burger was pretty good. Loved the buns... so soft! The fries are crinkly fries and not greasy at all. Giving it a 4 rating only because I believe for the pricing, the portion is small. But the burger is tasty! Love how the tables are made from reclaimed bowling lanes.

Great restaurant with a relaxing ambiance. I love the customer service, great food and prices. The outdoor covered patio for outdoor dining is great as is the location of the establishment. They even donated 25% of the profit to save dogs and cats even though their restaurant wasn't involved in that promotion! Kudos! I'd give it ☆☆☆☆☆ but I cannot stand it when the urinal is in full view as is the person using it right next to the ladies room. You should expect privacy when using the restroom and some sort of partition should be installed to remedy this.

We had seen Shake Shack several times because it's right across the street from Longhorn Steakhouse. My husband wanted to eat something different and for him, hamburgers are as different as it can get. I checked the menus from other places and saw SS, l knew he would like it there. The dining room is open and they have curbside, no drive thru. For the 2 of us it was close to $40. We got 2 burgers, 1 order of fries (crinkle cut and they were done right), 1 soda and for dessert, 2 rootbeer floats. My burger was more expensive, the Shack Stack has a portobello mushroom the size of the patty and the hubby got the Lockhart burger which has a link of sausage along with a patty and when you ask for a soda refill you will get a brand new cup. We liked it and the gentleman that was working curbside Monday night around 8:00 was so helpful. He gave us a sample of their seasonal lemonade (pomegranate & blood orange) which to us, delicious to others might be too tart. We will go back because we want to try the purple cow float and dreamcicle float.

The food is delicious just like every Shake Shack. The staff is extremely attentive at this location (quick on cleaning up, refills, orders, etc.). There is a lot of seating at this location including a large patio area. The shroom burger and cheese fries are always my go to while my husband orders a shack burger and cheese fries.

My daughter took me for the first time and actually, the burger, fries and service were great. Now I'm sure because of its location and small size it was a little difficult for us to find seating. But still enjoyed. Eventually we moved inside out of the hot sun. Table service was great and very responsive. Servers were respectful and attentive. I just couldn't get past the idea of no plates 😆 Later I saw the trays that I'm sure are available upon request. But all in all, the food arrived to us hot and just the way we ordered. I'd like to go back to try more Off the menu. But it wasn't a totally negative experience. Thank you and see you again I'm sure!

Service was great, food was delivered very quickly. The Shake Stack burger with bacon was delicious. The bacon cheese fries were mediocre and soggy. The chicken bites were soggy and had an off taste from the seasoning. Worst part is the price, I appreciate cooked from scratch. But at $90 for 2 adults and 4 kids to eat, we should have gone to Whataburger.

2.5 stars (cost was about $15/person) Ok didn't want to rate this too low since maybe it's just acquired taste but I just didn't like it overall. The highlight of the meal was the fries. Nice and crispy. Very few places serve crispy cut fries. Usually they're soggy or clearly freezer fries. But the fries were great. My sister got the bacon and cheese version. Unfortunately, there was barely enough cheese to cover a good portion of fries and a little bit of bacon. For the burgers themselves, they were fine. Just felt too over priced for what you get and the sparse toppings don't help. My sister got the chicken shack and she felt it was too oily and sour. The lemonade tasted weird to me. Maybe I'm just not used to pure can sugar but the taste was not what I was expecting. The strawberry shake kind of reminded me of that syrup kids use to make strawberry milk and did not seem worth the $7 price tag. All in all felt disappointed by how little I enjoyed this meal. Service was friendly and the presentation looked nice.

My server was very helpful and polite. He patiently guided me regarding menu variety. The hamburger was delicious (pricey, but good). The place needs an upgrade. It was not dirty per se, but it might be the area where it is located. I do recommend going and eating there.

Well, after spending most of the morning driving to San Antonio, then the spending the rest of the morning and the first part of the afternoon in the doctors office, we were ready for a relaxing late lunch. Just off the highway and across from North Mall, was Shake Shack, so we opted for a quick burger. This was one of the newer looking restaurants for a pretty run-down area. There was plenty of parking and a great outdoor eating area. Since it was a nice 84 degrees and cloudy with a 5 to 7 mph breeze we were pleased to be able to eat outside. The moment we stepped in the door we were pleasantly greeted by a genuinely nice lady. She didn't rush us to order and answered questions we had about the food. When were were ready, I ordered a sausage burger and my wife got the bacon Cheeseburger. At $9+ each....I originally thought that was the combo price. Nope! That's just for the burger! Well, it must be huge?!? Maybe we should split a burger? NOPE! Now I am not going to say it didn't fill me up, but I don't need too eat too much to get full either. It reminded me of an Applebee's slider! This burger was small for the price. Now the meat was delicious! No doubt about the great flavor and the roll was like a potato roll that was very fresh and moist. It was definitely a quality burger....but almost 10 bucks? I thought I was at Sea World for a second. Then to make matters worse....there was no "topping bar". Just a couple of bottles of ketchup and salt packets. The napkins were a joke too. They could clean a 5 year olds hands. We also ordered some cheese fries, but they were the crinkle cut kind and were not very tasty. They did put plenty of cheese, but that did not help. The atmosphere was ok. Not great, just ok. They did have a ping pong table and corn hole toss outside. Perfect to keep the kids occupied while mom and dad eat. The whole time I was eating....I was thinking the drive to Chicken n' Pickle might have been worth it!

First time trying shake shack. We were disappointed. We paid $61.56 for 1 burger, 4-6count chick’n bites, 3 shakes, 1 lemonade and 4 fries. My kids did not like the food. They said the chicken wasn’t crispy, that it was soft. Plus the chick’n bites were small for the price. The shakes were $5.69 each. My husband said the burger tasted okay. I wanted the chicken sandwich but didn’t get it cause I wanted it grilled and they don’t offer it that way. I did notice 2 other people get their orders before us. The lemonade and fries were good. Everything is À la cart, no combos available not even a kid’s combo. The staff was friendly though. Overall it’s pricy and probably won’t be back.

Agreed with other reviews. We wanted to try because not everybody see’s things the same. The burger was ok and the fries were very good. Portion size was too small for the price, what you see in the picture cost us $31.00. We will most definitely not be coming back due to prices.

Me and my family walked in, the receptionist was standing there, and we ordered 5 cheeseburgers with everything on it. Throughout the order he kept looking behind us and saying “Oh hell nah” amongst other things like “only meat?” immediately after we explicitly said everything on the burger. I kid you not, this man was on cloud nine. When we got our food, the burgers came with only meat, and when we asked for it to be remade, they didn’t remake it but instead just put the toppings in a bag and we had to make it. Shake Shack? nah, fake shack.

First time at Shake Shack. The server kept offering stuff without telling me there was an additional charge. You are allowed to upsell but you also have the duty to inform me of additional costs. Got a single with a small chocolate shake. It came to $16. With the conversation rate it is $24. I can feed a family of 4 at Wendy's for the money. First and last visit.

We ordered a chicken sandwich, 10 chicken bites and two milkshakes. It came to $33.51. I wouldn't complain but both milkshakes were almost warm and the consistency of plain milk. For 5.99 I would expect something better. Never again. The food was mediocre at best.

The service is horrific. They make you place your own order (no, you don’t get paid) and if you need help, every single employee dodges eye contact and feigns being deaf. The food is average and when combined with the service, you are best served finding somewhere else to eat.

I visited tonight (5 Feb 2026) around 8pm. I drove 20 miles just to get there and ordered around $60 worth of food. I get back home and two of my burgers were still pink inside. I understand that there was a sports team with about 20 people plus 5 other customers ahead of me. However, my food should not have been raw inside after waiting 20 minutes for it. Please do better at cooking customers food. I did not mind waiting for my food but I do mind eating raw meat that could make my family and I sick, and wasting money for food that we did not get to enjoy.

Went today for lunch at 12. It was dead. Spent close to $50 for cold food. Worst experience ever. We got 2 burgers and 2 fries with cheese. And a drink. Waited 30 minutes. I didn’t wanna complain and wait another 30 minutes. I’ve been in the hospitality industry before. We ordered at the kiosk. We normally go to this location 2/3xs a month. Get it together!!!

The cashier Jenna was rude, as soon as she saw me approaching the counter to make an order, she walked away. She was taking orders and touching people food, yuck 🤮 The Burger was hard on the edges like it was re-cooked. The burger is super flat, like a crepe. You literally need to get a double burger without rough edges. (Good luck on that) Overpriced flat patty, with bad cashier service, Ah no thanks!!! The chairs, tables, floors, and bathrooms were very clean. I'd rather stick with Chester's burgers or Chris Madrids for Burgers Or my Favorite Burger Boy as they are much much better!!!
