If you're on the hunt for a pizza that hits all the right notes, look no further than Stone Werks' Margherita pizza—it’s a slice of heaven! This beauty boasts a perfectly baked crust that's both crispy and chewy, topped with zesty cheese that packs a punch. The freshness of the ingredients is undeniable, making every bite a bold explosion of flavor. Plus, the cool industrial vibe of the place sets the perfect backdrop for a laid-back meal.
We ordered in! Loved everything! The pizza was great. The desserts were fantastic too!
Although this isn’t the closest location to us, we gladly make the trip because the service is always outstanding. We typically request Amanda S., and she never disappoints—she’s incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and an all-around excellent server. She anticipates our needs, ensuring we never have to ask for refills, and our orders are always prepared exactly as requested. Thanks to her exceptional service and the consistently amazing food quality, we’ll continue to be loyal customers at this location.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. My uncle wanted a blue moon but the server said they were out and offered a sample of a local beer to try, btw he liked it. There was no wait to get a table and the food came out without waiting too long. The food was fantastic. I had the Rotisserie chicken and it was imo a generous portion. The whipped potatos and Brussel sprouts were amazing.
My daughter and I just had lunch at your establishment for my birthday, food was delicious and our waitress(Layla) was very kind and attentive, even had a slice of chocolate cake w/ candle, will come back again, thank you,
We booked their private room for our annual women's luncheon 4th year in a row. Pricilla Pledger, their event coordinator was fantastic! We had great service, they were extremely accommodating and had great attitudes. Everyone attending loved the food, great menu options at a really reasonable price. I would highly recommend StoneWerks at Lincoln Heights for any private or corporate event. They really show they care about you and your guests.
Upscale place near the Quarry, arrived for happy hour and I was able to sample some of their delicious apps and happy hour drink special. Had a strawberry margarita bean and cheese nachos and fried mushrooms. Everything was made well, tastes great and the bartender who waited on us was professional and attentive. Would like to return for another chance to try something new and different.
Love this place. The food and service are both excellent and the blueberry cobbler.....OMG.
We did our wedding here and Michael was amazing. He is the restaurant manager and event coordinator. Very easy to work with and so supportive, he made sure things went smoothly and constantly went above and beyond. I am very thankful for his outstanding service during that special day.
Enjoyed a fabulous milestone birthday party with family and friends at this amazing restaurant. Special thanks to the GM Pricilla and our server Kristine. Pricilla ensured the room looked lovely, warm and welcoming. Kristine handled the party of nineteen guests with grace and style. Kristine went above and beyond to fill glasses, bring out appetizers quickly and serve lunch with panache. The appetizers included queso, salsa and chips, and appetizer dip. Highly recommend the shrimp salad, oysters Rockefeller, tuna tatami (both the appetizer and salad), roast turkey with avocado sandwich, prime rib egg rolls, and many more. Everything we had was scrumptious. Stone Werks is a veritable star, on the San Antonio culinary scene.
We recently hosted a luncheon in the private room at Stonewerks Lincoln Heights location for family and friends following a celebration of life service. I was thoroughly impressed with the attention and care we received in the weeks leading up to the lunch and the patience of the staff, particularly Dirk, as we continued to adjust the menu and size of the event. Even though our planning went through the holiday season and our lunch was the Friday after New Year’s, we got excellent service and care. Our guests all remarked how wonderful the food was and what a perfect venue this was to pay tribute to our dear loved one.
One of my favorite eateries in San Antonio. You can bet your boots you're gonna get quality food w/ service here. Their dozen oysters on the half shell in season come with all the trimmin's are highly recommended. Heck....everything on the menu is usually perfecto. And the menu is varied for you depending on what you wanna knosh down on at the time.
Ive only eaten 2 things here and they were good but the ambiance, the service and the specialty drinks will have you back again and again UPDATE Finally made it back in. So happy I did. From the front desk smiles and service to the excellent table service from Daniel. And then the food. Tried new things. Individual size pizzas. Yum. Three cheese. I added pepperoni, my friend added pepperoni and mushrooms. My friend had the wedge salad. Be hungry, its on the big side. I had the side Caesar salad. Perfect add for the pizza. We started with fried mushrooms. Another yum. They're smaller than most, but there are plenty and they are delish. And the smaller size didnt melt the inside of my mouth lol. With no room left- we had to try the sweets. Ok, we didn't HAVE to, but frankly they sounded incredible. They were. The atmosphere was so relaxing (crying baby aside). Major meeting room for any occasion. That 1970's classic music was the icing on the visit.
Was just passing by for some afternoon cocktails, Chris was an amazing bartender at the Lincoln Heights location. I'm also in the service industry, and this has been a great service and a drink experience, especially for a day where the city was a little bit shut down for the freeze.
This is an awesome place. The food was good, the atmosphere was good, and the service was excellent. I was with a group of ladies and we didn't lack for anything. We will be back for sure!!!
Stopped through because my friend was craving wings. The atmosphere was great. Social distancing was strictly enforced and everything was clean. I ordered the fried pickle chips and some drinks. All the food came out perfect. Service was great. Masks everywhere. Definitely will be back.
I really love the menu here as there is something for everyone sandwiches , pizza , pasta , great seafood variety , Their fire roasted chicken was very tender and moist . My new go too place .
Our server Grey had two large tables and still managed to care for our group. The weather was perfect for our outdoor dinning experience. We're looking forward to our next visit.
Food was spot on and delicious...service was superb, and although a bit noisy (busy lunch crowd), it was tolerable. Great spot for a ladies luncheon!
Wonderful atmosphere with nice music and sports on the TVs. Food is excellent and well priced for the quality. Service has always been great here would recommend it to everyone.
Amazing atmosphere & yummy food! They have a huge bar that’s very inviting!! Their chicken panini is mind blowing & the nacho starters are a must!! They have outdoor seating which is very nice in the fall!
THANK YOU We had our wedding recently here!! The party room was big enough for a small ceremony and decor!! The waiting staff was great! SHOUT OUT TO BENNY & ANAI!! Y’all were great!! Only thing id suggest is to keep up with your events… they change staff and many diff people told us things that had gotten changed last minute and it very stressful for a wedding/Bride to deal with 5 days before the wedding!!
Service and Atmosphere are perfect for a sit down lunch. There was no wait at 11:30am and we had a large party (9) and we were all served in under 30 minutes. Highly suggest getting the Kobe Beef sliders. They come with a chipotle mayo that really pulls the flavors together. You get 3 perfect size sliders that are great for sharing or need a good size lunch. All members of our party were satisfied with their meal choice.
Their food won't disappoint, Love their burgers, Brussels sprouts, Salmon , Tuna Tataki & Oysters. Great Red Wine & Beer selection. Mojito is too sour for me, Happy Hour 3pm-6pm M-F. Enjoy Bar & outdoor patio. They will have live music soon. Service is spot on, friendly staff, clean, plenty of parking, handicap accessibility.
Awesome food , service was not as nice as ud like but manageable with the ambience in the building:)
Was a nice place, food was good, host was friendly, and waiter was great. Very pleased.
WOW! The food here is incredible!!! Amazing environment and the outside seating is great. Covered patio with heaters in the ceiling. The fish and chips, Philly, sliders and Mac n cheese were all out of this world good!!!!! I will be going back here when I travel to San Antonio to see my family! My picky 7 year old daughter even loved it!!!!!
A HUGE THANK YOU to Rudy, our server, for the evening. He is great!!! Appetizers included Prime Rib Egg Rolls (YUM!) and the Wisconsin Cheese Curds (delicious). Shared a Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken (pretty good) and Rustic Flatbread (quite tasty). Drinks were PERFECT! I will be returning to taste more of the main entrees. :)
I had the opportunity to work with Julio Montes and his team on a wedding reception that I was planning for my clients there at the restaurant. This team went over and beyond in terms of service! They worked side by side with me, providing everything we needed to make the reception a success. It was such a smooth process with the organization and attention to detail being paramount! We couldn't have asked for a better team to serve us! Needless to say, the clients were extremely pleased with everything! Thank you, Stone Werks!
Every time we have come here, we have had the same (awesome) waiter named Rudy, who makes our experience absolutely killer. My girl and I started off with the fresh oysters, which were great. The food is absolutely incredible every time we eat here. This particular time, I ordered the Philly and my girl got the salmon with grilled veggies. The Philly was OUTSTANDING- it comes with au jus and is absolutely to die for. 🤠 The salmon, veggies and mashed potatoes that my girl ordered was killer too. I have never had a bad meal here and always order something different because the menu is so vast. Everything seems scratch made and full of flavor. Absolutely my favorite place to eat in town. And thanks Rudy for being such a great waiter and hard worker- it does not go unnoticed! Give that man a raise ! 🤘
Stone Werks Basse Location truly impressed us, especially with the outstanding service we received from Rudy E! Even on a bustling Saturday, Rudy was incredibly attentive, making sure we never waited long for anything. He was so thoughtful, even bringing out ice cream for our two 9-year-olds, which totally made their day! We're already planning our next visit and really hope to have Rudy E as our server again. What an amazing experience!
Reagan was such an absolute joy to have as a server! He’s so well rounded when it comes to food and brings life to any room that he steps in! I haven’t been to San Antonio in a long time but I’ve truly enjoyed every moment that I spent here and look forward to coking back real soon! I’m truly grateful for Reagan and his amazing and warm generosity! ❤️🤗 Gabbie and JT from Atlanta
Great place to eat with great service and awesome food. Not much to say about the atmosphere as it's just a usual restaurant. Kind of fancy but not overly so. Great place for a business dinner group.
I've been to this location a couple of times now, and everything is spot on! Service is great and the food is super tasty. Their Pecan Crusted Chicken is one of my favorite dishes.
This location provides top notch service. Michael worked with me to bring a large group (40+) people. He made planning the large event a cake walk! Everything was SO smooth. Javier and Kristine did a fantastic job of providing excellent service. I love this location and hope to bring more friends again in the future. BIG KUDOS TO MICHAEL, JAVIER, AND KRISTINE!
It was so nice on Christmas Eve that we decided to hit the patio for an early dinner. We arrived during Happy Hour and decided to share fried pickles, followed by Tuscan flatbread. The pickles were tasty, and the serving was generous. The flat bread was pretty yummy, too. The service was really good. Although our server was working both inside and outside, we never felt ignored and were checked on frequently. The patio chairs were more comfortable than many places, which is also a plus.
Nice and warm place to enjoy with family or friends! The fire place gives a better ambience experience during this Christmas season, I recommend the breaded mushroom appetizer! And the fettuccine Alfredo cause they serve a very good portions!
Stopped in for a quick lunch. I had tomato basil soup and a salad. The soup was standard, nothing special, but it was good. I had a house salad also that was acceptable- the ranch dressing was very good. My friend had shrimp tacos and she loved them. Said they were delicious. Our server was great and I imagine the atmosphere is great in the evenings.
Tucked away in the heart of Lincoln heights this beast offers a delicious twist on classic American style food and modern dishes. They also offer a wide variety of oysters and kids food, most notably a pizza and salad combo I’m told is a big hit with most kids and a healthy option. I enjoyed the ahi tuna salad and my better half enjoyed the wedge salad which both were delicious. Recommend if you have pickie eaters or a group that can’t agree because of the wide variety of everything 5 stars
Food was delicious! (Totally forgot to snap a pic of the artichoke dip 😅) They have a lot of options to choose from, making it a perfect spot for a date night or just a chill night out. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The place is clean, with a nice layout there's a dimly lit section for a cozy vibe and a separate bar area if you’re looking for something more lively. Definitely recommend!
My friend, Belinda, and I scheduled to meet up for dinner this week at Stone Werks Lincoln Heights location to catch up before we attend the R.O.A.R. Networking group at the same place. We each ended up ordering a Sangria-rita - mine was on the rocks while Belinda’s was frozen, a happy hour special. We decided to share 2 of the items: Rustic Flatbread and the Chilean Sea Bass. So much food to enjoy and a great convo to boot. We both had leftovers to take home. I believe happy hour ends at 6pm so get there early. When we joined the R.O.A.R. Networking group, Janie ordered the Shrimp Avocado Salad which looked amazing! She thoroughly enjoyed it!
I recently visited StoneWerks for a family gathering. It has a very inviting atmosphere with inside and outside patio seating available which is great for larger gatherings. The star of this Menu is DEFINITELY their Prime Rib Egg rolls served with a Sweet Chili sauce that’s not too spicy & not too sweet! StoneWerks offers an assortment of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. They also have a nice bar & a large variety of non-alcoholic drinks as well as alcoholic drinks. They also offer fish, chicken, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, soups and salads. The service is Amazing! There’s something for everyone. Can’t wait to visit again soon
Great, happy hour menu and cocktails and beer. Patio gives you a warmth, cozy filling. If you can ask for Timothy, an outstanding server. Oh, best shoestring french fries ever.
Party upstairs was a nice atmosphere. Food was good but not great for the price. Waiter was very nice but a few orders were not right. And the birthday girls dinner was completely forgotten by the kitchen (according to the waiter). So she ate after us! The wrong order was left at the table for “free” since it couldn’t be returned to the kitchen but then we were billed for it. Waiter fixed the bill thankfully. Basically, if I ate here again I would micro-manage the orders.
I was in a large group so that might have had some effect on the quality of food.
Great place for good food, everything we ordered was cooked to perfection! Very delicious! I totally recommend. Also nice ambiance, good for a date night!❤ They also have a great patio, which at this time, I was not able to enjoy due to shortness of staff, so I was told. ☹ However they totally made up for it by their friendly and very helpful staff they do have currently working there, thank you for the great experience! The only thing I do have to mention that if you are looking to get your drink on, you will probably have to order a shot on the the side. There cocktails are great tasting, and their presentation is good but could use a little extra kick.🥃😉
Arrived around dinner time on a Saturday and there was barely anyone there, we got sat right away. The patio was closed due to a private party, it looked cool with the fireplace outside. The service was just okay. Our server was apparently on break so it took a while to get drinks ordered. We got some apps in and they came out hot. Queso and spinach artichoke dip were a hit. The martinis were tasty, not that strong. The oysters were good, I loved that they served it with fresh horseradish sauce! The ahi tuna tacos are my favorite, the tuna tasted fresh. The burger, chicken tenders and fries were also wins. Overall food and service were good.
Stone Werks is our go to for a menu with lots of choices in all categories. Sometimes we stop for starters only, sometimes for lunch/dinner and sometimes for dessert and coffee. Their food is always great and the atmosphere and service are fantastic. Tonight we came from the Botanical Gardens Illuminate and had a mix in our group as to how hungry we were. We ended up ordering the Calamari and spinach/artichoke dip for starters. We had one person who was more hungry order the chicken salad sandwich, one who ordered street tacos, one who had a cup of creamy chicken pablano soup and one who just had the starters. Everything was great to include top notch service. They always offer a great meal!
I called to make reservations directly with the restaurant and was told there was no seating available for my requested time and if I was a walkin the wait would be about an hour to an hour and a half. I went online and made a reservation for 6 pm without a problem. When I arrived, I asked to be seated in the dining room with the fireplace. I was told no because it was full. When going to the bathroom, I noticed it was half empty. Often, during our dinner, I would glance over, and it was never full. Our server was nice. It did take quite a while to be served our drinks. Service was a little slow but was not really a problem. The two appetizers, brussel sprouts, and artichoke dip were very good. Especially the brussel sprouts. It was delicious. Three different entrees were ordered and they were all very fresh and very good. The desert was delicious!
Excellent place for a celebration. The restaurant atmosphere is friendly and reflects a relaxed mood. The food was nicely presented and appetizing. The decor is modern and rustic which makes it interesting. Staff was helpful and friendly. We will choose this restaurant for our next celebration.
**Stonewerks at Lincoln Heights: A Culinary and Service Gem** Upon arriving at Stonewerks at Lincoln Heights, I was initially met with a less-than-welcoming hostess who seemed preoccupied with her phone. However, this minor inconvenience was quickly overshadowed by the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Timothy. Timothy was the epitome of a dedicated and knowledgeable server. He greeted us warmly, offered excellent meal suggestions, and entertained us with humorous stories throughout our dining experience. His unwavering engagement, friendliness, and expertise made our evening truly memorable. Starting with the oysters on the half shell, we were treated to a taste of the ocean. The oysters were impeccably fresh, briny, and bursting with a salty essence that left us longing for more. The wedge salad, generously portioned, was equally impressive, featuring crisp lettuce topped with a tangy dressing. For our main course, we opted for the house cut sirloin. Cooked perfectly to a medium-rare doneness, the steak was tender, well-seasoned, and melted in our mouths. The accompanying roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes were also expertly prepared, complementing the steak beautifully. While the food at Stonewerks was undoubtedly exceptional, it was Timothy's outstanding service that elevated our experience to an unforgettable one. Despite the initial hiccup with the hostess, we left Stonewerks feeling thoroughly satisfied and eager to return for another delightful culinary adventure. Highly recommended!
Great workers and nice buidling.... got the pizza as a safe option and was disappointed. Bland and missing flavor.
Great food! Great place to meet and eat! The server charged me for an 8 ounce glass of wine, but I only had a 5 ounce. I didn't notice the error until I studied the receipt once I was home. I returned to the restaurant and spoke with the General Manager, Priscilla L. She assured me she would issue a credit to my charge card. Almost a month later, I have not received credit. It's a small amount, I know, but it's simply not right.
Food was good and the server, E, was great. The hostess, however, was not. Didn't greet us, and I basically had to beg to get seated. When she did, she didn't bother to get us menus. She also couldn't be bothered to thank us on the way out the door. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time. I'm sorry I'm bothering you, but your job is literally to great and seat people.
It took forever to get the check. Manager socializing with buddies. Could've gone smoother. Food is good for
The decor of this place is very nice but I found the food very basic for the price. My wife ordered their prime rib (rare) and I ordered the house cut ribeye with the blue cheese crust (rare). Both streaks came out over cooked, close to a medium, and the quality of the steaks tasted sub-Outback. I will say the steaks are very large and we both had leftovers.
Beautiful restaurant, prices are reasonable. Food is not great, and the service needs a lot of work. Appetizer plates came about 7 min after the appetizers hit the table. My drink took forever, the person who sat next to me ordered a margarita, it took about 25 min. No. Exaggeration. Servers did not bus our table in a timely fashion. Notice how my friend was eating his diner with an empty appetizer plate (that he finished before his meal came) next to him the whole time. No one was ever asked if our meals were to our liking, and I was never offered a second drink. Train your staff, seriously, not even the basics down.
We were seated quickly for a Friday night, and noticed that it was pretty warm at the table. The waitress is the one that notified us that the air condition wasn't working. We were hungry and wanted a drink, so we stayed. We ordered a frozen margarita, a draft beer, and an appetizer. It took about 10 minutes for our appetizer, and we had to ask the food runner about our drinks. About 5 minutes later, our server brought our drinks. The frozen margarita was not frozen, and the glass felt like it just came out of the dishwasher because it was hot. The burgers were good.
The waitress was very nice but not attentive as it seems she was the only one working the whole restaurant. Food was delayed and drinks didn't get filled till we were leaving. She never came back after dropping food off till we asked for our bill. Then we still had to find her to actually pay and receive the drink refills we asked for.
Food was cheap for happy hour, but we had lots of issues. First, the Spinach Artichoke dips were good but cold on the bottom. We did get it for free for signing up for their email list. Next, we got our drinks. My Peach Bellinis was fantastic! However, one my friends ordered a Michelob and was served a Coors. The waiter had the friends drink and a different tables drink and he hesitated, indicating it was the waiter who messed it up. My margarita pizza was atrocious. The dough was super bready. Like it had the texture of a lunchables. My friends enjoyed their wings but they were served lukewarm. One of my friends ordered a cheese pizza and it was okay, it tasted like bowling alley pizza. My other friend order the 5 meats pizza but was served the "That's a pizza". My friend didn't try it so I can't assess how good it was. Finally, our bills were completely messed up.
This is my first visit to Stone Werks, and I was a little excited because it looked like a nice place. When I got there, the hostess made us wait for like 10 minutes without any acknowledgement while she was on the phone with what sounded like a to-go order. She was just going on about random things and sounded like she had no interest in speeding up the phone call. I was talking with my bf about just going somewhere else when a guy finally came up and seated us. We waited for a while again until a waitress finally appeared, took our drink order, and then disappeared. It took forever for water to show up, which seemed like a zero effort item. The waitress took our food order and we again waited for way too long for 2 side-portioned house salads. I was dreading how long burgers (actually cooked food) would take, but those eventually showed up. My burger was overcooked to the point that the inside was grey, and the “beefsteak” tomato that’s supposed to be on the burger was paper thin. I didn’t know how a tomato could be sliced that thin, but there wasn’t even a point of putting it on the burger because it was just essence of something wishing it was a tomato. I wouldn’t be so sad if it wasn’t a $15 burger. My bf’s burger was also overcooked. We didn’t want to sit there all day for new food, so we just ate and left. If this is the normal experience, it’s not worth it.
I’ve been to every Stonewerks in the city, and this visit was really disappointing. The food was good (except for the tartar sauce, which was nothing more than mayonnaise with a couple of pieces of pickle in it), the service was really slow, and the kitchen screwed up a couple of easy things with our orders. After we were served, our server never came back to ask how everything was or if we needed anything. We had to flag the server down to get a few things that were missed. There was nothing huge that went wrong; it was the cumulative effect of a bunch of small things that made it suck. And there were hardly any people in the restaurant to boot. We’ll stick to the other locations, which have never disappointed over the years.
A Lil disappointed the waiter, who was slow with service, did not accept my birthday dessert coupon (sad face) for a dessert. I had one as a new VIP customer for an appetizer - loved your spinach dip. My date had a big burger - super great food but lackluster waiter. ^^This was back in August when I'd recently moved from Austin. Yippee, we're going back to our home in Austin in a few weeks.
So, when my mom and I got there, we waited a long time to be sat, and when the guy finally came over, he asked us, “how can I help you?” As if, we’d be waiting for anything else other than to be sat. Then, our waiter wasn’t the most polite, and we had to ask for silverware. Food wise, the oysters were fresh and decently priced. I personally didn’t think my burger was the best, but it was ok.
The grande margarita on the rocks is just a single margarita in a bigger glass with a lot of ice. One shot if that. The margarita at el catrin down the street costs half as much tastes better and has significantly more tequila. The club sandwich is pretty devoid of flavor.
Went out to eat for my birthday and it wasn’t a very good meal, the steak had no flavor I had to add salt and was they brought not only my steak not cooked throughly they also did the same to my sister-in-law
Had lunch today at this location, food was dry and had no taste; I ate it because I paid for it. We ate at 3pm- they sat us in this darkest spot in the store with greasy booths, no other customers in that area, and it was hot. We couldn’t get any enjoyment from our visit because the entire time there was a waitress with a birthday sash on, talking super loud about personal matters to a table on the other side of our area for like 25 minutes. Super unprofessional. Our waitress was really sweet but came to our table a total of three times. No refills, no questions about our food, and we had to wait 15 minutes after finishing our food to get the check. There was no thank you for eating with us or any energy shrug the situation. I’d honestly like a refund for my food.
Just left this place. To all 4 servers who tended to the patio today. Y’all need to coordinate better on who is handling what table. Sat outside in the middle of all the tables and was not waited on in the 50 min we were out here. We stuck around cause the weather was beautiful and we mainly came to see the basketball games. But of advice from a former waitress, check on all the tables especially when they’re sitting there with no drinks or food in their table.
It's unfortunate that I feel a low rating is necessary purely due to bad service. My partner and I came to this location based on positive reviews by word of mouth from a close friend of ours. We came and there was a small 10 minute wait on a busy Friday evening after opting out of seats at the bar top. We were happy with the booth the server seated us at and were excited to have an intimate dinner and a few beers. The oysters Rockefeller and calamari came out fresh and hot in a timely manner. However I knew immediately we wouldn't be receiving good service from Cole. He came took our drink order and put in our appetizers and acted like they were out of the Limes we wanted for our drinks. He was short and rude and didn't bother checking on us after we got our appetizers. Other servers and expo workers brought our food and took our finished plates out of the way. Cole was far too busy on his phone and hiding away in the restroom to deliver good service to us. Entitlement at its finest. I tipped the nice server that took our plates and cashed out our bill, and my wife being WAY too nice tipped Cole 5$. Please get into a different line of work Cole. We won't be back to stone werks because of you.
