Best Mediterranean food in the San Diego Area! Food is super fresh, artisanal and flavorful! I recommend the Tika chicken kebab (meal #4), it’s juicy and generous. The Turkish ice cream was amazing as well. Service was fast and great with Mike!

Love the food and service here! I come here pretty often and it never disappoints. Mike and the team are all so friendly and amazing. I typically get the chicken or lamb biryani and coffee. They usually end up making a fresh pot for us. The food also usually around a 10 minutes! Would recommend coming here :)

While visiting with my friend on a gateway trip to San Diego, and we wanted some good good foood. We googled place and Aladdin was one of our options. We opted for it. The first look at the place when we arrived was that the atmosphere just seemed so inviting. It was busy but we got to get a seat fast. Stephania was so great, she was right about the Lamb Chops, soooo yummy. And very nice lady! Alejandra made sure we didn’t miss anything we needed, and we had what we wanted. Thank you for this great time! Guys, please, you won’t regret!

The food here was fantastic and the portion sizes were really good. We ordered the mixed platter along with a salad and a few appetizers. The chicken was very juicy and flavorful. The beef was very tender and the lamb chops were cooked perfectly to a medium rare. Will definitely come back! The only negative feedback was the tables outside were not wiped down and were fairly sticky

We are here the first time and had a chicken salad with combination Borek.. it was so tasty we had to come back the next night to try the Lamb Makloubeh (order 1hr before online as takeaway with a more you’ll eat in the restaurant to save time).

Hands down delicious all around. I have been coming here over the years when in town, and every trip I make it a point to eat here. Scrumptious meals. Friendly and swift service. I’m a sucker for lamb, so that’s mostly what I eat and so should you! lol!

Currently having the best experience here. Angie is our server and she is PHENOMENAL. The atmosphere, the music, the service, and the food are all immaculate. This is my new favorite spot, will definitely be coming more. Is it possible to give 6 stars? If I could I would. We ordered a tasty beef shawarma wrap, savory lamb shank, and some delicious Turkish ice cream. Angie if you’re seeing this- thank you for everything ❤️

Great attentive service and amazing flavors! I got the lamb shanks plate and the sauce/broth it came in was phenomenal. Wonderful to enjoy with some pita bread and rice. The iced mint tea I paired it with was very refreshing. I enjoyed my Friday night solo dinner and will be coming back again

The Mediterranean food here is absolutely excellent! Every dish was bursting with flavor—from the fresh, vibrant salad to the perfectly seasoned rice and the delicious main course. The quality and taste were truly outstanding. On top of that, the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend! Would definitely be coming back. Angie was our server and she was a sweetheart very attentive.

Best Mediterranean food ever!! The lamb chops was so good. The ice cream they make there is delicious 😋 we definitely had so much fun, Mike is The best waiter of the restaurant, he took care of us and made sure we were satisfied 😌 definitely recommend 😀 and going again.

Very nice view seating patio. Delicious food with unique taste. We got almost everything 😁. We were hungry so trust me when I say that all his dishes were 10\10 🤩. Our waiter Ahmet toke care of us. He was so friendly and recommended the best choices. I absolutely coming back and recommend it 🤩

Aladdin is one of my preferred Mediterranean restaurants in San Diego where I can expect consistent quality in the food and service. Today we came during Ramadan for lunch. The place was mostly empty but I would expect a crowd capacity at sundown (much like in prior visits during the months Ramadan). For today’s lunch, we had the babaganoush, the chicken Biyarni, and the lamb wrap. All were hurting with flavors. A solid 4-stars all around.

We were visiting San Diego and decided to try this Middle Eastern restaurant since it had a lot of good reviews. We visited on a Monday evening around 6:30 pm. There were not a lot of people but the server who greeted us at the door told us there was a party in the back. We ended up sitting upfront. We ordered the tabouli & the kibbeh as appetizers. The tabouli was definitely fresh but lacked lemon juice. We told our server but he didn’t do much about it. We made it work. The fried kibbeh was so delicious. One of the best I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend. For a main meal, we ordered the vegetarian biryani rice and the mixed grill. The rice was so flavorful and delicious. We all loved it. It was cooked to perfection & the portion was definitely generous. The lamb chops were my favorite and had so much flavor. Definitely cooked to perfection. The chicken was OK. I expected more Mediterranean spices, but it was just more like grilled chicken. Not the flavor profile I was expecting. The meats were definitely tender and juicy, and the flavor was good. We ordered a dessert to go and the filling was delicious, but the phyllo pastry had a lot of ghee. Definitely took away from the dessert. We ended up paying about $160 with tip for the three of us. I do have to mention the service was OK. Our server was not around much so we ended up having to ask another server for assistance. Another thing to know is the service was not really with a smile. I’m not sure if I’m ever in the area if I will return. Maybe I’ll take a to go order of the rice and & kibbeh.

I really enjoyed my visit to Aladdin Mediterranean Restaurant! The food was so delicious, especially the kebab it was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The staff were lovely and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's a bit on the pricey side. But overall, highly recommended if you're craving great Mediterranean food!
