Stopped for breakfast at a wonderful restaurant in San Diego (cute Serra Mesa area) off the 153 (near Montgomery Field). Food was fabulous with genuine Mexican food. I had a delicious breakfast skillet with the best carnitas! My husband's breakfast was a delightful cream cheese stuffed french toast with bananas and strawberries! We topped it off with coffee and Baileys (full bar) to kick off our long weekend! The staff were friendly, waitress was amazing! Sorry, we were having too much fun and forgot to take pics!

From beginning to end, the restaurant provided a smooth and enjoyable experience. Guests were greeted warmly, and seating was arranged promptly. The menu featured plenty of appealing choices, each with clear descriptions. Food was served quickly and with impressive presentation, showing care in preparation. Gabby was a wonderful server & made sure I was taken care of !!! Stuffed French Toast was delicious and so were the potatoes. Fun atmosphere and vibe and has kind staff. Loved it as a first timer and will most definitely be coming back !!!

Brunch done right with generous portion. No line on a Thursday morning. We came here through Yelp recommendations. The staff were very welcoming and came by to check on our table often. Donny was our server. Restaurant was clean and roomy. We ordered Carnitas Breakfast Skillet and Chicken Waffles. Both so good. Apple pie was good too. Not too sweet. Would come back in the future!

While searching for a bite, I came across this place. I saw pictures online of the food and wanted to try it out. Definitely didn't disappoint. The food was great. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again.

So many good things to say about this place. First off, our server Seth was super friendly and attentive. He gave EXCELLENT recommendations and really cared about our experience. Second, the food was really good. We got a burger and fries, breakfast burrito, and mushroom queso. Everything was good! The beers were also perfect, both in the pour and in how they set the taps. This place was also very clean. Super great place, and we will be back!!

Maggie's food is delicious! My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered. I ordered the chorizo hash and my friend ordered the stuffed French toast. Each dish was well seasoned, presented well, and was a healthy portion! The service was great as well. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes. I highly recommend this hole in the wall spot. Eat up!!!

Looks like the place have regular patrons as they know the servers name soon as they come in. Which is a good sign. There is no need for a coffee refill. They serve coffee in a mug. It's pretty strong coffee, though. I usually take my coffee, black, but this time, once I hit half, I added some creamer. Huevos rancheros was not on the menu, but they were able to make one. We also tried the stuffed french toast that came with eggs and sausage links. They are delicious. We had to order extra sausage links, my daughter that doesn't usually eat pork liked them.

Wow, what an amazing time we had here! The service was absolutely top-notch. Donny and Miguel were our guides through the huge menu, and they made sure we had a great time. Now, let’s talk about the food. Oh boy, the food was incredible! We started with the Elote Bites, and they were to die for. They had a nice little kick, and the gravy for the biscuits and gravy was simply magical. Not many places get this simple thing right, but Maggie’s definitely did. The Chile Verde Omelette had an amazing flavor and was cooked perfectly. And the Chilaquiles? Perfection! The ambiance was also great. The bar was a nice touch, and there were TVs scattered throughout the restaurant. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

We were in town and looking for a place to have breakfast. Read the reviews for Maggie’s Diner so we decided to try it. It did not disappoint. It’s a neighborhood diner with plenty of parking. The restaurant was clean and the menu had a variety of choices. I had the Breakfast Quesadilla and my husband had the 8-piece wings. The quesadilla was delicious (scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, pico de gallo and avocado) and could have fed two people. It was served with homemade salsa. The wings were a good size and were also very good. If you’re looking for a place that doesn’t serve just eggs and bacon, give Maggie’s a try. You won’t regret it!

Good mom & pop restaurant. Great quality food. Update: Got the Torta Cubana with Sweet Potato Fries. The torta was excellent as usual. The fries seemed less than before. Our friend got a Cesar salad with chicken and a side of fries, and liked both. Prices have increased. Update: Got the Biscuits and Gravy w/ Scrambled Eggs; Buffalo Chicken Wrap; and the Torta Oaxaquena w/Sweet Potato Fries. Everything was very good. The fries portion was small. Update: Got a Torta Oaxaquena w/Onion Rings and a Torta Cubana w/Sweet Potato Fries. Both were very good. The fries portion was small for the price. Prices have increased.

I would say the best thing about this location is the staff. They're extremely friendly and are sure to provide great service. The food was good and prices were reasonable to portion size. The steak was cooked well, but was lacking a little flavor. Overall great location. Would come here to eat or maybe even just get some drinks at the bar. My kids did not like the bench seating, they thought it was uncomfortable since there was no cushions, just wood slats.

This place has a lot of good reviews so my friends and I decided to come check it out for lunch. The restaurant was larger inside than its unassuming exterior appears. I wanted to try their chilaquiles and it didn't disappoint. So delicious with the red salsa. I had the option of green salsa, red salsa, ranchero, or mole. I asked to try the mole before ordering and the nice waiter brought out a little sampler for me. It was a little on the sweet side so I opted for the more savory red salsa. My friend ordered the chicken tortilla soup and she said it was good too.

RAFAEL Razo our waiter happily gave himself an 18% tip without my authorization when he charged my debit card. I specifically told him NO TIP because I was going to leave his tip in cash. To me this is so embarrassing and I didn't even steal. Our own people always step on us, sometimes I am embarrassed of being latino/mexican because of action like this. The manager didn't even know what to say when I asked why $23 extra were charged to my total. When I showed her the email my bank sent me she just hesitated and said she didn't know what happened and that it could have been a mistake. Well, that was a pretty mistake for RAFAEL RAZO, but not for me. I keep my bank statement on check. I DO NOT recommend this place unless you want to be robbed!!!!!
