Birrieria TJ 664 has the best birria in San Diego. I lived in Tijuana all my childhood, so you can trust me when I say this place have the best food. It taste like real Mexican food, the restaurant is nice with TJ decorations and spaninglish phrases. They have now multiple restaurants around south California. You have to eat at this place! Totally recommend.

Never had a bad meal here. The queso birria tacos are hefty and delicious.

Tacos 🌮 are on point! Ordered some Quesabirria & some Tacos all of it was yummy ! Customer service was good. Parking is free but sometimes gets crowded / pact at times. There is street parking available just make sure you read the parking signs for time limits and street sweeping, meter maids don’t play around the area.

Their bowl of birria is really good. Try adding some salsa lime and extra onions and cilantro. Really good

Normally fire food, but the language barrier for the servers to customers got in the way for the experience I just got. I asked for a madrazo and 4 tacos de birria. I asked before I left if the madrazo was in there since it just looked like tacos in the to go bag. You can see where this is going ... I went back to get my madrazo after a confusing telephone call when I rang them up to tell them they left out part of the order. When I went back, it turns out that the front person never heard me say madrazo or got confused. Wouldn't order to go again, unless it was a to go birria with tortillas on the side, since the taco corn tortilla got soggy and fell apart when I ate mine. 2/5 service 3/5 atmosphere and price 5/5 food

I was extremely disappointed in the staff that took my order as I said, 2 taco birria. She said 3 I said, "Does it come in 3? .... its it big? she said it's small. No I only ate one it's more than enough. Then the bottom shell was so stale. It was not edible. I was so disappointed they offered me corn shell. I will never eat here again. No wonder why no one was eating there .... this place doesn't take pride in their food.

If the food was good I wouldn’t complain about the price. But $6 for a quesabirria and $3 for a consomé that has no flavor and is cold is terrible! Spent $50 on two people. On my list of WORST restaurants in San Diego.
