I used to live in San Francisco and fell in love with pho. Can say that Pho Kitchen definitely hits home! My top pho spot in San Diego!
I had P2 and it put me into my happy place. The broth and meat was very satisfying
So happy to have found this place. The food is delicious and reasonable priced too.
I come to eat here pretty often and I consider it one of my fav spots for pho and spring rolls! Had the grilled shrimp vermicelli a while ago and it was bomb. The service is super quick and attentive, whether you dine in or take out. Really appreciate the staff :)
My husband and I love this place. Out of all the pho restaurants in Mira Mesa, this one is the best. Good quality meat, the broth is perfectly flavored, friendly staff, and the price is extremely competitive. We highly recommend them!
This place is good. Modeled after their first store it looks exactly the same. I like that. Friendly service and great food
This is our favorite pho restaurant. It never disappoints. Incredible tasting food and very reasonable prices. Perfect for date night.
I had to eat there 2 days in a row because the food was wonderful and portion was huge for the price. The language barrier made the service a little different but it was still fast and a non issue. I normally try to eat everything on my plate when something is that good but I just could not. I was overall impressed and the prices were on point. You bet ill be going back
Definitely would recommend this place! Friendly to all their customers. Food tastes amazing and my child is a picky eater but loved his Pho! I tried the P6 Pho Bo Kho and it was really good. Came here with some friends that knows the owner and I support all small owned businesses that keep on growing. If you need a place to get some good Pho I would definitely come back to this location.
I often get the chicken or veggie pho here and it’s so delicious. The broth is aromatic and the trimmings very generous. Feels like a warm hug on a cold day! :)
Been finding myself exploring a ton of pho restaurants around sd and keep coming back here. Their XL PHO is huge, they give a lot of meat, and while I will say their broth is not the best ever, it’s definitely better than a lot of places. It’s a soldi 8/10. The meat quantity and quality makes this a go-to for me. And, the egg rolls are delicious. Vibe is also perfect. Not trying too hard but just so pleasant. Always had quick great service too.
The pho here is always delicious and reasonably priced. I tried the bun (vermicelli) with bbq pork and egg rolls and it was amazing! Lots of fresh veggies to accompany the carbs and meat. Generous portions and well balanced flavors.
Everything about Pho was just right, broth flavor, meat, portion size, prize. And lime soda. Plain broth and noodle also available for picky eaters.
If I'm looking for delicious and comforting food, Phở Kitchen is one of my go-to's. The staff is so attentive and kind, while the food is fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend the vermicelli bowls, spring rolls, or phở bo vien.
I'm not from here, went to get some pho Took it home it was very good and tasty the meat was so soft and tender

I’ve eaten a lot of pho in my lifetime and while most spots are solid, few are truly memorable. This spot is one of the few memorable ones. Great taste, generous portions of noodles and meat, unbeatable price, clean interior, and super nice service. I got the Pho Combination and Egg Rolls. Their dipping sauce for the egg rolls is killer!!
I absolutely LOVE this place. Great pho. Generous portions! It’s my go to for sure. Highly recommend!
Great place, huge servings accommodates big family without breaking the bank. Food was excellent and service was on point. If you are in the San Diego Bay area, THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR PHO.

All I can say is that pho 🍜 ever pho me! Louise is the best sever there! I would rate the service higher but the last year I had a few bad experiences from The owner . I believe maybe it changed ‘. I use to go weekly and that decreased! Giving it another chance ! The food is great! Love the rice dessert too!
A decent Vietnamese restaurant with a tasty bun special. It had all the fixings and it's huge so you might not finish it if you're not super hungry. Service was super friendly, the inside was clean and a great place for a work lunch. Food: 7/10 Service: 6/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Value: 7/10
Ive been to this location 2 times, food is really good. Pho broth is very flavorful with generous portions. Restaurant is not huge but seating is comfortable. There is not alot of parking available but there is constant flow of customers around and wait is not too bad. The only odd thing about this restaurant is the fact that the restroom is locked and you have to carry the key attached to a small pipe from the register in order to use it, I don't know if maybe they had non-customers or homeless constantly walking in to use the restroom but I found it funny reminded me of gas stations when you have to request a key to use the outside restroom. Kind of diminishes the modern and comfortable vibe of the place.
This is a good place. I came in on Friday and ordered the shrimp pho as I’m Catholic. But all of my buddies food look delicious. I would prefer they take the tails off the shrimp but some people like the flavor those bring to you food I assume. Overall good place for random work lunch, or by passer. The menu is simple and rich.
Loved the pho soup, it tasted great, very very good and the best part is that if you order #18 you’ll get plenty of protein and that’s my favorite part. Strongly recommend this place and their food.
Modern looking interior, the pho was pretty good it was very satisfying if you're looking to try pho for the first time this place would be a good start, the bean sprouts and Thai basil that comes in the side were fresh and cleanz the pho also came out really fast like under 5 or 4 minutes of me ordering. The pho combination bowl I got had alot of meat with a variety of textures and taste, the large bowl is enough to feed two people, I'd come again since it seems like you can add and customize the meats you get with your pho
food 4/5 atmosphere 4/5 service 4/5 the pho was solid, but this place couldn't be my first choice. unless it was convenient. the bbq pork with rice was alright. pork was average. i didnt hate it but i wouldnt get it again. the pork rind rolls were good. veggies were fresh and crunchy. i would get those again. overall, a place i would go if i was wanting pho and it was convenient. but i wouldnt go out of my way to come here personally. again, solid place still but maybe my third choice when it comes to pho at this time.
Nice son and pop pho shop it seems. The broth is good although a bit on the saltier side. The prices and portions are good and i like how you can customize your bowl. The tendon is especially good.. with the perfect balance of tender and firm. So good, we went and ordered an extra side of it. One note would be that the vietnamese coffee is pre-made. Im a big fan of the individually brewed cups but they said they've changed it since the pandemic.

Awe man - I love this place, I would go to my grave saying it’s probably my favorite Pho place…… but, I had to leave a comment to tell you guys… as a soup restaurant, you really really really should be using containers for to go orders that don’t spill when slightly tipped. I was really upset to find a slightly tipped cup of soup completely emptied in my bag and soaked my car, which other food items - I mean cmon guys

Their broth was little salty but very flavorful, got a filet mignon for protein and it was delicious. Their soft boiled egg was very good on the pho, but their meatballs wasn’t so great. (Update: 9/18/25) Ordered Large Pho with rare steak and soft boiled egg. The broth was salter than last time. The meat was so-so, soft boiled egg was pretty good. I think it was ok for decent pho.
This was my first time visiting and it was okay. I really enjoyed the chicken pho broth (it was very flavorful) but the chicken itself was SUPER dry. I couldn’t eat most of my chicken and I hate wasting food. The staff were okay…not the friendliest to me (but maybe they were having a rough night). I probably wouldn’t return but maybe other menu items are worth a return trip for someone else.

I ordered the filet pho and some egg rolls. They were very generous with the lettuce, however the egg rolls were average and didn't come with carrots/daikon. The pho itself was not good. The broth is very lacking, as if they didn't cook it long enough. It was like water, no amount of hoisin/sriracha could save it. I was very disappointed. Beef was okay, it should have absorbed the flavor of the broth if it had any. Overall disappointed with the food, however the people here are very kind and attentive.
I’m sharing this feedback mainly for management’s awareness. I’ve been coming to this pho restaurant for quite some time because the food is consistently good. Unfortunately, the service during my most recent visit on 12/8 around 6:30 I believe was so uncomfortable and unprofessional that I felt it needed to be addressed. One staff member was immediately rude—rolling his eyes when I said I was ready to order and responding with a dismissive attitude. He then went to another employee and appeared to talk about my partner and me while repeatedly looking over at our table, which felt extremely unprofessional and intentionally uncomfortable. He went around refilling water for other tables but deliberately skipped ours, even though our glasses were empty and he clearly saw them. When I asked for water, he rolled his eyes again. Throughout the rest of our meal, he continued staring at us in a way that made both of us feel uneasy and unwelcome. When we went up to pay, there was no acknowledgment or communication at all. The overall behavior made us feel targeted and uncomfortable rather than welcomed as guests. Additionally, we’ve since heard from other people that they’ve had similar experiences here, which is concerning. Because of how uncomfortable and unprofessional this experience was, I felt it was important to share this so management can keep an eye on the situation moving forward.
Last night on December 22, after a happy day of family activities, we decided to have dinner nearby and chose Pho Kitchen, which was recommended on Xiaohongshu. When we arrived, the restaurant was not very busy. Since it was our first visit, we spent a little time looking over the menu. At that moment, a younger staff member warmly greeted us and kindly asked what temperature of water each of us preferred. As we were traveling as a family with elderly members and a child, this small gesture felt very thoughtful and welcoming. Unfortunately, the experience changed during the ordering and dining process, mainly due to the service from an older staff member. First, my mother and I ordered two bowls of the exact same pho, with only one difference: one bowl without green onions and the other prepared normally. The staff member repeatedly confirmed this order with my husband at least five times, with a very intense expression. While I understand this could be seen as being careful, it already felt a bit uncomfortable. Second, after our food was served, we waited about five minutes without receiving any utensils. We couldn’t even start eating and had no choice but to use our hands at first. My husband then stood up to ask this staff member for utensils and plates. At that time, there were only three other customers in the restaurant. The response we received was that we should “keep waiting” and that someone else would bring them. We waited again. When the utensils finally arrived, there were only four sets, even though we were dining with a child. My husband had to stand up once more to ask for children’s utensils and chopsticks. This time, the older staff member responded very impatiently, telling my husband to wait because he needed to finish refilling the straw container first before helping us. After receiving the children’s utensils, I noticed that the back of one spoon was dirty and asked for a replacement. Again, we were met with an impatient attitude and facial expression. By this point, it was clear that my husband was very dissatisfied with the service. I want to add an important note here: we have lived in the U.S. for over 20 years, and my husband speaks fluent English and has more than 10 years of experience working in restaurants. He is extremely patient and has never felt the need to leave a negative review anywhere before. However, this time we genuinely felt we were treated differently. The contrast between this staff member’s attitude toward us and toward white customers in the restaurant was very noticeable. This is the first time in 20 years of living in the U.S. that we have ever left an online review for a restaurant, and unfortunately, it is a negative one — only regarding the service. That said, I do want to be fair: the food itself was very good. The ingredients were fresh, and the pho tasted great. We truly hope the service can improve to match the quality of the food. Of course, we still left a tip for the staff who prepared the food.

After so many visits here, my family and I slowly have noticed how differently they treat us than others. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but today sealed it. Very uncomfortable and unfortunate as the food is good. But we will not be returning until the workers learn to treat everyone equally.
My wife has eaten Pho Soup today (07 October 2018, receipt is attached), and started to feel extremely unwell about 30 minutes after the meal - diarrhea, vomiting, dizziness, fever. My wife was feeling very bad for several hours, now it got a bit better. It was just HORRIBLE. We have been in this restaurant many times before, but after today will NEVER go again. I am also thinking of submitting a claim to food poisoning attorney, because what happened had caused danger and emotional distress to my wife. This is ridiculous. UPDATE 09 OCT: no word from a restaurant at all, looks like they just don’t care. Amazing.
First off as we walked in there was no greeting as other received when they walked in. The interaction was stale to say the least. What do you want to eat was all he said. My Chicken Pho tasted literally like dish water. Made me wonder if there was soap in the broth or I the plastic Ketchup looking clear bottles that the hoisin or the sarachi was in because neither were in the manufacturer bottle. Or perhaps they added something to these sauces to stretch them. Nevertheless given the location and the price point I had a much higher expectation. I will never go back to this place and will be surprised if they were open 6 months from now. Everything about this experience was the worst. I hope they do better but I will never know because this experience that we suffered through is not worth giving them a second chance. The Thai tea was good but $45 later not worth it.

I went into the pho place with my colored friends and instantly I noticed a difference. We were constantly met with mean glares and rush full attitude. It was literally raining so hard and they seated us by the door when there was only two other people in the entire restaurant. My friend wanted to get a separate bill and one of the workers dismissed her and charged her for everything. Honestly I would never return I felt so uncomfortable.
Very POOR customer service experience We were seated for about 10 minutes without any greeting. The first interaction we had with the waiter was a demand: “Can you guys move to that table for me?” while pointing to another table, even though we were a group of four including a toddler. When we asked why, the waiter said WE would be “fined up to $2,500 for blocking the aisle” because a high chair was placed next to our table. This was said in a threatening tone, despite there still being ample space in the aisle. I understand safety rules, but the way this was communicated was disrespectful and unprofessional. A simple, polite explanation would have been enough. Because of the tone and lack of basic courtesy, we chose to leave immediately. Restaurants should enforce rules respectfully, especially when families with young children are involved.
