I’m giving it 5 stars because there’s not much to complain about this place. Service is usually fast if you dine in, lunch specials are available, and the prices are reasonable and affordable! The sushi is always fresh, although I did run into a batch of black avocados on top of my roll once, but I don’t care. There’s plenty of outdoor seating and never too crowded, so if you need a secluded spot to have a conversation, this is it. Parking is plenty since this is part of a large plaza.

Love this spot!! It’s a very peaceful outdoor area. I had it all to myself around 2/3pm on a weekday. Fabulous service. Quick and welcoming. They made me feel like family… invited me to relax on the patio and enjoy the weather for as long as I wanted. I was stuffed after 1 roll. Delicious

I want to give a big five star to this place. It’s kinda at a parking lot, next to Vons. It’s pretty hidden, but they have a nice outdoor porch that you can sit at. The foods here are delicious!!! I think their mixed tempura is the best price comparing to their quality and quality. I mean how they fried them is right good. The salmon nigiri is amazing too, so soft, fresh and melted in my mouth. The sashimi salad is super great too comparing to their very nice price. They only have one server today but he’s so fast and helpful. I recommend this place for sure/

I have eaten sushi in 7 states and 16 different cities, and this one of the best tasting sushi. Very generous with the fish. Unlike some places is mostly rice and cheap ingredients. If you ask mi kids where they want to go out to eat, without hesitation Wonderful Sushi!! We have had sushi in many fancy places, but this one is home for us. Yes there are places more nice and fancy, but the taste here is amazing.

Very laid back neighborhood sushi place. Pricing is very reasonable. We had bentos for lunch (sesame chicken and grilled mackerel). The panko breaded sesame chicken bites were utterly free off grease, crunchy and delicious. The mackerel was perfectly grilled and tasted very fresh. The only note I'd offer the restaurant: while the miso soup was excellent, the bowls are looking a little worn. It might be time to replace them?

Ordered the sashimi B (4x3) plate, which came with albacore, salmon, yellowtail, and tuna. All the slices featured exquisite texture and fresh flavor. I definitely recommend it.

Decent quality sushi and friendly staff. Rolls can be made better. Some of the ones we ordered came semi-loose. The food was fresh and ok though.

New ownership for this restaurant and happy to say they a kicking butt! The menu has adopted some new more modern items and the food was all excellent. The yoga fire roll is still a favorite and they have several "off menu" items that they make, so good idea to ask for them.

When my husband and I used to live in the area we used to go here often. The sushi is good at a great price with terrific service and we always enjoyed the outdoor seating. Today my daughter and I had some time to wait around town for her brother and she wanted sushi. I knew just the place! Plus I figured they were opened because they always had outdoor seating. It had been atleast a couple of years since I'd been there. The food was still good at a great price. Unfortunately the service was slower than I had expected so I'm glad I wasn't pressed for time. There weren't many tables filled however they were filling many takeout orders. I expect the delay in service was in part due to takeout and that it seemed as if they had a light staff. In this strange time of the pandemic they are doing a really great job overall! We will be back soon. 👍

This used to be a fantastic place, one of the best sushi in San Diego. Then , after the owner sold it, it got progressively worth and worth to the point when I decided not to go there anymore. The wait is very long, you often get rotten avocado or spoiled cucumber salad in your poke bowl, etc. Don’t recommend

I ordered to go , I got to the place and the person was still making our order. He wasn’t wearing gloves which kinda grossed me out. Went home to find out that non of the rolls I ordered were made. I got the same roll for the whole order and 1 different roll. I was very disappointed . I paid $90 for nothing. They didn’t taste good
