What a great place. It's run by a mother daughter combo who used to run a bakery. Because of Covid they closed down the bakery and rebranded later as a lunch spot. The service was fantastic and the food was wonderful. Beware the portions are monstrous.

Really good breakfast! The blueberry pancakes were super! The omelette was excellent. And the coffee they serve is above average. Better than Starbucks.

Love this quaint family-owned spot. The food was delicious, service was friendly. We tried the avocado toast which was perfect and filling with the addition of eggs and bacon. The chocolate chip pancakes were big and such a treat. Side of bacon and sausage was also yummy. The bacon is crispy and the sausage has just a bit of spice to it- great flavor! Best breakfast on the North Valley area. Their food is top notch and you can't go wrong with neither their breakfast or lunch menus. Breakfast - the French Toast or Country fried steak is a must. Lunch - PB&J burger.... My office is nearby so I hit this location up during the week mostly. It is on the smaller side so plan ahead!

I assumed the combo came with a drink but the cashier said it was only available till 3 (I ordered thru their site which indicated till 4) which is fine, but I had added avocado to my order, they called me to inform they had run out which again, is fine. But she didn't offer to refund me or maybe replace it with something else~ The place is nice tho and the workers are nice too~

Darling spot. Really small. Can be long wait on weekend especially if you want patio seating. Food was good. We ordered soy chorizo dish (really good for soy), biscuits and gravy (good biscuits, gravy a little runny) and pancakes (so good tasting but weren't fully cooked and came out pretty mushy on the inside). The help was so friendly, and so slammed! They supposedly use Groundwork Coffee (sign on the wall) but said they were out of it on this day. The coffee we were served was very bitter & weak, so hopefully they'll get back to using something nicer. I'll try this spot again because they do brisket!

Lola’s kitchen popped up when I was roaming for food. The pictures of their food are spots on and exactly what you get. The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and attentive to my dining experience. Good music everyone will enjoy in the background, when you walk in there the feeling you get is like being at your aunties house grabbing breakfast. I’d give a 10/10 but the stars only go up to 5/5 they nailed it for making my morning start right. If you’re in SFV you need to try this spot at least once

Cutest little restaurant I've seen in a while. Very homey, and very clean! I had the biscuits and gravy for breakfast and it was VERY good! So good that I had to come back a week later to get THE SAME meal! So good! Their cooks in the back are making some magic. Their menu is great for picky eaters and those looking for a homey meal or comfort food. The bathroom is also adorable and clean! Highly recommend trying this place out if you're in the area.

Special find! It's so unassuming to go to a new spot in San Fernando and find myself in a restaurant serving southern food! My friend and I ordered the PB & JJ burger and Brisket sandwich. Loved that burger especially with that tabasco sauce. It's next level and would come again The Brisket was thick cut and flavorful. My only complaint was that the fries were not all created equally lol. Some were too stiff and dry but some were perfect texture. The flavors tho were always on point. Got to chat with the creator of the PB and JJ. Theresa was giving us the low down about her dream to bring something different and fresh here in San Fernando, I think she succeeded. The vibe is so chill with lots of cute sayings on the walls, especially in the bathroom. Come read them all and have a laugh. Service was so friendly and quick. loved it

Another newer addition to the area. Cute little Cafe with good Homestyle cooking. Very good prices and super friendly staff. I had the Biscuits and Gravy with eggs on top. A large portion and it was good. They also have outdoor seating, which is important to me. Good place for breakfast or lunch.

Walked in when I saw somebody eating next to the UPS store. Really liked peeps and invited others that we finally found good quality breakfast in San Fernando. Highly recommend. I don’t need to go far for healthy hearty food.

It is a small diner if a seat isn't available be prepared to wait a bit. Parking from what I can tell is all street. Now to the good stuff the food here was great all fresh and homemade. Gave off like a mom cooking for you in the morning feel. I got the breakfast burrito fried one of the best and massive!!. My girlfriend got the croissant sandwich with fries also massive!! Both were great plenty leftovers. The staff was super attentive, and making sure all needs were met. This place truly is a gem.

The staff is "WONDERFUL" the breakfast menu is superb and so is the coffee. I tried the blueberry pancakes and was not happy with them too dense, not light and fluffy, more like hockey pucks. Other than that all the other items on the breakfast menu is superb. It would be nice if they had a larger place to accommodate more people because it is very hard to find parking and a place inside to dine in. Other than will keep going back.

The location is limited parking. But, the experience and the taste and portion size is awesome. We had the fried chicken and the meatloaf plate (had cookie too!!) It was delicious 😋 the service by the waitress was so good we had all we needed without asking. Homestyle food it was not what I expected buy so good and fresh in a cute cozy environment ☺️

I ordered a green tea and the breakfast tacos w/fruit. Everything looked fresh and was good. I saw someone else mention the tacos were a bit bland, though I do agree they needed a pinch of salt, I prefer it to be undersalted than oversalted(You can always add salt to your liking after). I feel the prices as reasonable. I would eat here again.

Lola’s Kitchen is a must visit for breakfast or brunch in San Fernando. I’ve been three times, and their avocado toast is a masterpiece, packed with fresh flavor. It comes with a vibrant heirloom tomato, perfectly scrambled eggs cooked medium, crispy bacon, and sweet cherry tomatoes. I’ve tried the golden home fries and refreshing fruit medley as sides, both excellent. The coffee is bold and velvety, just how I like it. The staff are warm, service is quick, and the place is spotless with a well kept restroom. Parking is easy with street spots and spaces nearby. I highly recommend this gem!

First time in and got the meatloaf sandwhich.... If you know this spot and have not tried it do it! Nice thick pieces of meatloaf and the gravy was off the hook! Potatoes salad is on point too! Come to this place you wont regret it.

Very good food and friendly atmosphere. The place was clean inside and out. You do have to place your order inside which isn’t a big deal but if your ordering for people outside remember to ask all the questions the server would ask you so you don’t have to be going in and out. I had the French toast combo The eggs were over easy, perfectly cooked. The bacon was and crispy but not burnt. The French toast was also very good. The prices were ok but remember you get what you pay for. I believe them to be around 15 plus for each item. Does not include drinks. They do serve breakfast till noon. Over all the experience was good. Four stars only because, the service outside was a bit slow. Had to keep asking for a few things.

I’d go back for sure and try something else. It was ok. Got the PB and JJ. It was under seasoned and the bottom bun was soggy, couldn’t really taste the jalapeño jam. Great idea for a burger, the execution was just a little off.

Server took 20 minutes to circle back to us, even after we told her that we were ready. Pancakes were dry but eggs and sausages were cooked well.

My first time here was good. I know tipping is a must, but the only thing I personally don't like is when you pay, they put tipping options so there is this kind of hidden pressure to tip them at their percent choices. Let customers eat, then if they like the food and service, take the tip. I know it’s still a choice, but I rather tip at the end in cash. I had in other places really bad customer service, that's why.

I used to love Lola’s. My last experience there was not that great. I asked for a medium cooked steak. My steak was raw. When I asked for it to be cooked longer I was told they could not take it back because I had already touched it. So there I was with a raw steak that was not edible. (The juices had blood) Instead of making me a new steak, they offered a cup of fruit in its place. Fruit in place of a $20 piece of steak. I didn’t want to argue so I ate the damn fruit, paid full price for a steak I hardly got some bites out of, and left.

Waiting times are ridiculous for the amount of people there. It is a small restaurant, but the waiting time felt otherwise. For context it was Sunday around 11:30 AM, so I expected to wait. The food was good, priced decently. Four dishes with 3 orange juices for over 60 dollars. I would go again but the wait time needs to be resolved. At least a warning in the beginning would be nice.

"Cali" Benedict. Against my better judgement I ordered this even though I knew Turkey, tomatoes, avocado, shouldn't be on a Benedict, but to each their own, I gave it a shot. The egg was over cooked hard, never had a Benedict come like this, the yolk should always be runny

Really good looking menu. I had a taste for chicken fried steak, and saw this restaurant has it. But when I called I was told they won't make it after 11:00am. Nothing says great service better than being told, "yes we have it, but we won't make it for you."

After I received it with both the waitress said “I told them no onions, I’ll let them know”. She did not offer to replace it until my wife asked her to. She reluctantly did. The burrito had very little bacon and sausage, and stuffed with unmelted cheese. Sucks because it was our first and probably last time there.

I ordered the avocado toast that suppose to be with cherry tomatoes that I gotten before there in person, the moment I took a bite I spat it out, you can taste the rotten avocado, and they put a slice of tomato 😆 I normally would never write a post but this is so disappointing..

Coffee tasted like tea, I ordered a t-bone steak, they served me a piece of a steak no bone,for sure it wasn't t-bone steak the rest of the food egg and potatoes were fine.

Lola’s kitchen used to be a favorite place to eat. Today was the absolute worst experience I have had at any breakfast restaurant, today takes the cake. The scrambled bacon tacos, if you could call them that, was an omelette sliced in three with half cooked tortillas that fell apart. They used to be well cooked and delicious, now they were flavorless and cold. The potatoes used to be crispy and warm throughout the entire meal, today they were soggy and cold. The parfait used be to amazing, now it was awful. We tried to talk to the staff working there and they simply had excuses on the cook. The lack of a manager is apparent by their care and the owner really is failing at their job. Customers beware of the decrease in quality service and food at Lola’s.
