Just want to thank the staff at this location for helping cater for our family viewing at the Mission Hlls Mortuary. They were so kind and consdierate. Special thanks to Kevin, Sonia and Leticia for their service above and beyond. I so appreciate the fast service, how they prepared the food and the special care they took to provide us with everything we needed. The chicken was delicious. Everyone enjoyed it!

Yiu can get your food much faster by skipping the drive-thru. Our cashier was new and nervous but knocked out our order correctly.

We got there and they had already taken the cash register out, so they were just taking credit cards and my mom forgot her credit card at home, they just gave us the order for free. They were so nice to us. 100% recommend!!.💕

Went there for my 35thBirthday dinner and it was fresh hot and ready! It was delicious and can't beat the price for the shrimp tackle box $5, it definitely worth it. I'll be coming back for more ☺️😋.

This is my family's favorite location to pick up some truly crispy and crunchy fried chicken! Worth the drive to that location. Always tastes really good drive thru is quick they always get our order right and they curtious as well. Oil is always clean or changed often can taste freshness of the fried chicken coating!

Even with long lines, the staff was pretty fast at 1:30pm on Sunday, 12/16/2019. I finally gave in and tried their spice chicken sandwich. Ok. Ok. It was actually very delicious. Thanks Popeyes. Lunch time was great for my kids and I.

The young girls & men working the Cashier and drive thru , are the sweetest Angels ! Such kind people , they are always polite and helpful . Even the kitchen staff is great , they are always peeping through the window and making sure you get your order swiftly , if the girls are too busy the kitchen staff will come out and hand you sauces or napkins , they are a team here . My little sisters love popeyes and they ask for a-lot of condiments and sauces , our order is always large and they never miss a beat and even if they do they are always apologetic and do their best to get it right . Food is always hot and savory , the place is always clean , best Popeyes around ! *To be fair , We live a across the street and frequent this location at least once a week and know how their service is daily .

I left the Sylmar location and drove all the way over here because they know about customer service! I had a real person take my order. I was able to ask her questions. She even gave me a small little sample of the drink before I bought it. Which I did end up liking, but thank you. I'm glad that this popeye still believes in great customer service, truly appreciated.

PHENOMENAL😍!! Food &service!!! WOW- we never been 2 this location, 1 on Van Nuys/Laurel Cyn- closed(5/2/25) note on door sent us here- had a drive-thru- LUV IT!! Our cashier was SUPER friendly & order was on POINT- we had GIANT order!!! Pickle EVERYTHING 🤣 Our biggest bonus- they actually gave us enough sauce 4 the strips- we only get 3 per 14/16 strips @other location(not staff fault, probably owners rationing condiments😐😅)but we couldn't stop talkn bout that- PLUS the food was DELICIOUS-EVERYTHING!!! I hit the drive thru for the second release of the infamous Chicken sandwich!! Not bad but only took me a bout 20min mid day around lunch. Who knows maybe I got lucky so I bought 2. They were bomb!!! I’ll be back!

Always great, meaty chicken. The slight spice of the gravy on the potatoes is just enough. On the downside, the cheese sauce for the mac n cheese is a lil watery. Add butter and honey to your biscuit... Yum.

One of the few Popeyes with a drive-thru. Usually not to crowded and are pretty quick. Only down side is they always seem to be out on items/food. Not all items, just at least 2-3

How was Popeye's Kitchen well I'd ordered from the drive-thru most of the time. The girls that work the drive-thru window are always pretty even the big girl however a couple of times they forgot to give me items that I paid for but other than that they're cool.

Their customer service is actually pretty good only Popeyes I like in the valley I will drive to come to this establishment instead of the one closes to me. But seriously Popeyes when are you going to fix your drive through it’s super uncomfortable driving through that big dip it’s 2021 y’all let’s do better. ✌🏽

I’ve been to the drive through a few times now and I have to say that the service has always been fast and they got my orders correct! I would like for them to repave the asphalt there as it is quite bumpy.

I'm picking up dinner on a Sunday for the family, 4 big people. My last experience with KFC really left a sour feeling.. so I won't be doing them again any time soon. So we decided to give the local Popeye's a shot and we were delighted. I walked into a clean well organized place, was met by two wonderful ladies who couldn't wait to assist, one helped me choose the best deals while the other assisted cheerfully. They were quite the sales people too.. offering all he goodies that I had no idea were there, I had to decline the goodies but I did get a great deal on a 11 piece family meal with extra fixins'. My items were carefully packed, all the condiments were added to the bags, and the happy faces took me.. was a pleasurable experience. At home we dug straight in, the Taters, Cole slaw, and Biscuits were excellent, quite a difference from the KFC.. I was expecting different and I got it. Oh, btw I did get the spicy recipe.. I just love my spices. The chicken was very good.. again very different than the KFC. My white meat was a bit dry, I like my beasts plump and juicy, but the flavor was amazing. Overall I highly recommend this Popeye's and I'll definitely be going back. Their just a bit east of Laurel Canyon, give 'em a try and say Hi to those sweet ladies for me while your there :)

This place had a 8 pc special for 10 bones which came with 1 large side and 4 biscuits and mix pieces. All the sauces you want but no restrooms. Be sure to ask for extra napkins and wet wipes. Enjoy.

Great chicken! The only reason why I didn't give five stars was because the cook overcooks ALL of the biscuits. I got them remade and they were still overcooked. But their chicken isn't over greasy, just right.

If it weren't for the drive thru being super busy all the time and it being such a long wait I would give it 5 stars. Curbside pick up isn't available which is an inconvenience but you can order online and pick it up inside. Most employees are friendly for the most part.

Their service is faster than other Popeyes I've been to. The drive thru is convenient. The only thing I don't like is that they give you 1 free sauce and charge extra for each sauce thereafter.

I love their hot Apple pie turnovers sprinkled with cinnamon sugar! The Banana Cream pie is good. Their chicken and fries tend to be reheated and dry. Skip the Beignets, not worth it. Service is okay, usually a long wait in the drive-thru.

Their biscuits are the best! The cashiers here are really nice. A couple times I got some chicken that seemed a tiny bit underdone but that's super rare. Never a wait. Plenty of parking.

Back when the chicken sandwich was introduced I would comment in the long line of cars going through the drive up, then I tasted the chicken sandwich- yum. This is a typical fast food environment, the food is tasty. The chicken sandwiches are tasty. They will feature waffle chicken tenders and I look forward to them. The turkey bacon gravy used on their green beans is good also. If I could stand by the oven, I could easily scarf on the biscuits.

The manager of this location should have some accountability for leaving their employees servicing customers with the ice machine down nor cold drinks. Friday evening on 1/25/2020 at 6, I was embarrassed for the employees to be placed in that position. Should have postings that there is a tax on sodas. If it wasn't for the chicken, I would have gave it a one star.

The sandwiches were okay. Not nearly as juicy of a piece of chicken as other places, but tasty spicy sauce. Definitely recommend the spicy sandwich as opposed to the classic

Okay. Stingy with Fry's and soda is watered down. The cut corners to save on cost and that makes the experience not so good. Service was good.

Lived in San Fernando and in Pacoima all of my life, this is the 1st time I came to this Popeyes, And they forgot to put in my kids sandwich. How ever I called them up and the nice manager told me to go back and she gave me a sandwich, And for good measure she added one more At no charge. Winner winner chicken dinner...

I like how this location has a drive-thru, but I’m not sure why they only halfway cook their food here. Especially their biscuits and fries. Popeyes biscuits and fries are suppose to be crispy, not soft and soggy. I’d go to the Chatsworth location instead, they actually cook their food all the way there.

I asked for half spicy and original chicken. I received only original. It was supposed to come with two large sides but were regular size instead. Chicken tasted okay though.

I order from this location because every time I order through the app, my order is ready by the time it specifies and when I get there. You do not have to check in and then wait for you food to then be made. And my order is always correct, they do not miss anything. I had to amend my rating, how do I place an order through the app over 40 minutes ago and they still do not have it ready. Same excuse as the other location, still waiting on the blackened chicken tenders.

Ordered the cheese and bacon sandwich asked for no pickles.. got home to a chicken sandwich with only pickles on it. Verified they got the order correct on the receipt. So we paid for cheese and bacon and never received it... And I couldn't even eat the sandwich

Food always hits. Drive thru line was long. Inside pretty mellow. Be clear on your order and check your bag... from the drive thru or the counter. Please bring back the sweet potato pie.

I stopped by this Popeyes today to take advantage of my T-Mobile Tuesday code for their 3 piece tenders. I put my mobile order through the mobile app. For my sauce, I went with the buttermilk ranch. I found parking easily in the plaza this place is in because it's in a big plaza. I was early but I figure I would check in if they had my order ready. When I give them my name, my order was already ready 10 minutes before the pickup time. There wasn't much seating inside and they were also doing some maintenance so I ate my food inside my car outside. The tenders were not hot or warm at all so I don't know how long my tenders was out in the box. The buttermilk ranch is okay but I wouldn't recommend it. I thought the tenders were fine but I probably won't order it again.

Chicken was nice, BUT DON'T LIKE THE HOT SAUCE IN COLE SLAW! DON'T LIKE HOT SAUCE IN GRAVY ON POTATOES. THREW OUT MASHED POTATOES AND COLE SLAW BECAUSE OF THE NASTY TASTE. PEOPLE WERE NICE, BUT FOOD TOO STRANGE. PREFER KFC FLAVOR.

The food is well prepared and tasty. Small portions, pricy, yet the staff needs serious customer service skills. Was not impressed by the manager either.

This place never has a restroom, legally they need A restroom for their customers, as they do dine in, I have to drive one hour for a restroom as I get home, they send me to Rite Aid and that was also closed “out of order”.

The coupon was not accepted. They were out of Cajun fries at 3:45. The girl who orders was hard to understand. The prices were too high for a fast food restaurant. We will not return!

I would give this place 4 stars if they would be at the least cleaner than usual. As I often find a dirty table to eat at not to mention the parking in which my car was hit on the right front side that I noticed when I left the premises. But other than that the food is pretty good.

I ordered a big order so i checked it before leaving. They missed 2 combos and i went to twll them and took all my items back with me and this lady started saying she put them in the bag. I told her it wasnt there and she made it seem as though i was lying. I spent over 100. Why would i hide 2 combos. She was rude and then they calmed her down and i got what they missed

I normally enjoy Popeyes because of my son as he really likes their chicken, but today was probably the worst experience ever. We ordered off the screen like normal and after almost 20 minutes of waiting, we still didn't get it order. When I finally went to the counter, the lady who helped said she didn't see order so she had someone get started on it. When it was finally ready, and I saw that c she almost gave our food to a different customer. If it wasn't for a lady that saw me talking to her originally and pointed me out to get, or food would have been gone. After I had given my son or did, I had gone back up to the counter to ask for assistance, I called out to 3 different employees and was ignored. I finally had to yell out loud to get someone's attention and the girl who ignored me originally said, "Sorry, we're a little busy. Never again will I give this place business!

Worst drive through ever! I've been in line for twenty minutes and I have yet to even order. Take note that I was only behind one person before getting to the speaker. This is beyond ridiculous

It’s 10:40pm and the website says it closes at 11pm. I approached the drive thru, and the person at the speaker says “sorry, we’re closed” plus there was a hand written sign that said there was no fries. Upon asking what time they closed, they ignored me, so I took my business to Carls Jr, where they did have fries!

The wait in line is ridiculous!! Waited for an hr! Never had to wait this long before in my life over food in a dive thru. It’s called drive thru for reason. Totally unacceptable. Never coming back.

Customers BEWARE, either the kitchen cook or help are dishonest in this branch. Hid cutout chicken thigh with batter and fried them, then serve it as one piece of any boxed chickens or 14-pieces Chicken only or Family meals. I'm not letting this one pass. Whoever is in charge of the place I'm telling you!..is not doing a good Customer service 😒...not even trying to give me a Good deal om the Price... I drove 10 minutes from my house to this place only because of the Reviews!...I was completely surprised the way they attended There is another Popeyes 2 minutes from my house and I didn't go there because they have some negative reviews and look where I ended!...

Went in on a Saturday afternoon 7pm it was the worst, had to repeat my order 2 times, the drive thru waited in line for half an hour just to get burned fries or stale fries ? It was the worst. To top it off, they gave me the wrong soda and my chicken was dry. How disappointing. If I could get my money back I would, food temperature was not warm enough. Comming here ruined my appetite, never comming here again!

It suck wimpy French fries Beyond small popcorn shrimp like it was just left over crumbs from the fryer. I Will never go back to this place again it was just bad. The Chicken strip weird texture like it was just synthetic chicken .

If the chicken wings are going to be as tiny as my pinky , you can at least double up on them . The chicken wings were extremely small. Jalapeño pepper looked like they have been sitting out on the counter for days , maybe you should keep them in the refrigerator and serve them to order and not keep them sitting on the counter where customers pass by them all day long , especially in this COVID Era that we're living in now.

This location is known for “accidentally” forgetting to give you back your debit/credit card.. MULTIPLE times they’ve “forgotten” and tried to rush me out of the drive through after giving me my order acting like they gave me my card and then act clueless when asked for the card. It’s super SUS. And to top it off yesterday (my fault I know) I didn’t realize they did this AGAIN and I left without my card. And now they “don’t have it”. Watch out for this location because it’s happened to a lot of people I know too. They lag to return the card they could be copying them as well I don’t know. Super sketchy location.

I went for red beans and rice: rice hard no flavor. Chicken was cooked good again no flavor, and last my meal came with biscuits no biscuits. My meal was skipped because I did not want to spend more gas to return I already spent 32 dollars.

This San Fernando location has no organizational skills whatsoever. Cars just started backing up out of the drive-thru as they had waited long enough without being able to put an order in. Once I finally got to the microphone, I had to wait an additional 10mins just for someone to acknowledge me so that I could put my order in. No complaints about the food, but additional training is needed to help handle the workflow.

According to the receipt, our host "Jonathan" gave us two number 8s when we ordered and were supposed to get two number 6s. I know it was a long line at the drive thru and probably hectic, but come on man, that means someone else got our order instead of theirs too.

Ordered a family meal and a separate nuggets meal, incredibly disappointed by the fact that every bit of the order was messed up in some way. No biscuits, ordered spicy didn't get that, ordered fries didn't get that, ordered mashed potatoes and also didn't get that. I haven't been to popeyes in several years and was looking forward to this...what an unfortunate let down.

Just ordered a shrimp tackle box. They said it's $5. I brought it back home and there were no fries and no biscuit. I called several times and when they finally picked up they said the 5$ one is only with shrimp. And the one they have is a combo for $8. I do not understand this since I wanted the one advertised as $6 for the shrimp fries and biscuit.... So this is the rating for that reason, would have been easily a 5 but....

The whole time while I was waiting to order, the staff were just chatting and being very unprofessional. I don’t remember what my cashiers name was but she was a blonde Hispanic, she was extremely rude while I was ordering kindly, and she gave back attitude and started gaslighting me trying to say I never told her that I wanted 2 orders of Something which I 100% did ask her for 2 when I first ordered. I would like to quote the blonde girl as she said “ we’re just a bunch of 18 year olds running a store on our own” yes you are just a bunch of 18 year olds so stop acting like you’re better than everyone else and show some respect to your customers. Ice machine was not working and fountain drinks were warm. Definitely cannot do a warm soda on hot So-Cal day. I mentioned to the cashier Valery that she should let the customer know Ice machine is not working or to put up a sign. She completely ignored me. I tried to get a refund for the drinks, but she bartered 2 biscuits instead. P.S. Chick Fill A chicken sandwich and customer service 1k% better is an understatement

Hey Popeyes, so does this location train their employees to lie to customers? I will admit, I did not have any issues with the quality of the food. However, your customer service is another story. I went to the drive thru and when I was getting my food from the drive thru window, I asked the lady at the window if I could get blackened ranch and honey. She told me there was already blackened ranch in the bag. I found this a little odd because I didn't ask for it prior to reaching the window. But I took her word, so I waited for her to get the honey. She just stood there and stared at me, so i ask for honey again and she tells me that that's also in the bag. My bag was taped closed and i didn't want to hold up the long line so i took her word on that too. Once I got back to work and sat down to enjoy my meal there was no ranch or honey. And it's not the fact that I didn't get these condiments, it's that your employee lied straight to my face because she was too lazy to take an extra 5 seconds to grab these two things.

Slow service, unprofessional staff,chaotic counter, they have the not my job attitude, ice machine empty, floor dirty and sticky, poor food quality, charge for condiments, weak management staff, crew lacked discipline. I asked for 1 spicy leg they gave me the driest piece of the bunch and when I called them on it she claimed that's all they had while looking at a mountain of chicken, instead of making a fresh batch which I would have waited for given I had to wait 25 minutes to get my food, horrible all the way around do not eat here if you can help it, not worth the headache for that chicken sandwich.

Rip-off We decided to go out of our way to Popeyes tonight. Haven’t been in about 2 months due to distance and KFC is much closer. Popeyes was so bad we won’t go back. The chicken strips I had were lacking chicken. It was all grease and crust. The breasts were the same. Terrible and definitely not worth the money.

This establishment is trash. they are always messing up your order.. never giving you what you ordered or replacing it was something you don’t want… Every female has an attitude problem like you are bothering them when you ask them to replace your order or ask them for something extra that you’re willing to pay.. it’s like everyone’s on their period at the same time 😂😂😂if you don’t like your job don’t come get a new one but I don’t mess up peoples food..

Hi there so I went on lunch at 1:21 pm I walked to Popeyes got here in 1-2 mins walked in to this place and the only person eating there was a worker it was so dry but I decided to try and order anyway and when I approached the cashier they seemed to be busy doing something else at the moment so I waited a little bit longer and ended up just standing there watching the time go by so I left. They don’t acknowledge you, greet you or even make you feel welcome I didn’t even get a “ ill be with you in a second” and the first time I came here they gave me dry food and the mashed potatoes were cold so im not even that hungry anymore but I think I would rather starve then step foot in here again.

The lady taking the order in the front counter was making mistake on the order. There were only TWO customers at the time. The gentleman in front of me and myself! It's NOT like it was a busy lunch brush. She was overcharging the gentleman in front of me. By adding items to the order that did the gentleman do not ask for. And when it came to my order, a simple three piece combo, She had trouble communicating the pieces that came in that order in English and Spanish! At the end, my biscuit was overcooked and there was barely any fries in my three piecemeal. Never will come back to this popeye's ever again!

I visited the establishment today at approximately 5pm, and I must express my disappointment regarding the demeanor of the two young ladies (Dana is one of them) who were on duty. It seemed as though they harbored a negative attitude, displaying visible signs of annoyance when approached with inquiries or requests. There was a distinct lack of basic politeness, as neither of them offered a greeting nor expressed gratitude. To exacerbate matters, I did not receive a receipt for my transaction.
