My niece took me here yesterday. What a nice surprise. Great variety of Korean goodies. I loved every aisle. We spent at least 2 1/2 hrs aside from all the goodies you can try in the food court area. I was looking or specific items i could not find anywhere so of course I scooped a few of each. Loved the choices of veggies, meats both marinated and regular. Since I make food only for a few, it is nice to be able to portion the amounts I need. After shopping, we stopped to have honey chicken. The nice thing was you can get them bone in or boneless. Also able to try the Korean hot dog. Both were so yummy and not super spicy. Thank you!

An upscale Korean Asian supermarket. Huge store parking lot. Korean hot food court and bakery / cafe is wonderful! They even have a cold food section for items like kimbap, kimchi, dumplings, and bossam (boil pork). I adore all their different varieties of kimchi! Eat kimchi on the side to your hot spicy ramen and its soo good! I recommend putting some cheese on top and do your cheese pull 💕

H Mart originally started in Korea. When this location first opened, it was frequently visited by many Koreans, but now, there seem to be more Chinese customers. It feels more like an Asian market rather than a strictly Korean market. Overall, the store is clean and offers a wide selection of high-quality Asian products at relatively lower prices compared to other supermarkets. There is also a food court with well-known Korean restaurant chains serving delicious meals. The seafood section, in particular, has a greater variety and larger selection than other markets. Live seafood is available at relatively affordable prices, and they even offer in-store cleaning and preparation services. The photo shows a live halibut that was cleaned and prepared as sashimi, with the remaining parts cut into pieces for stew, which I purchased and cooked at home. It appears that the market shares its parking lot with nearby villas, making parking near the entrance almost always full. As a result, customers often have to park farther away and walk, which can be inconvenient.

This is our go-to for Asian grocery stores in the Bay Area. My wife and came down from WA a few years ago and we also had H-Mart there - no change in quality, selection, and pricing for veggies and assorted East Asian goodies. The biggest draw at this location is their food court - it’s hard to find reviews with photos and the menus, so trying to help everyone out by posting here. TL;DR - all the food court outlets are fire, and this is another awesome H-Mart location (albeit cramped).

Huge Korean-oriented store. H-Mart is comparable to Target if Target had bigger grocery areas. When you enter the store, you'll see a food court. There isn't much seating, but enough. If you go into the store area, there's a wide variety of food, including live seafood, cut fruit, and prepackaged foods. They also have kitchen equipment, sheet masks, and prepared dishes wrapped in plastic. The prices are very reasonable, although a bit higher than other markets and stores in San Francisco. However, everything is right here, so you could justify it as paying for convenience. This is a great place to at least check out once. It's tucked into a quiet neighborhood and there's parking outside.

We love this Korean Market... It has great quality and wide selection of fresh produce, meat and seafood. The seafood is so fresh that it's alive. It's pretty new and kept very clean, so it's a very pleasant shopping experience as everything is organized and neat. The price is also very reasonable too. Best of all, they also have a food hall with authentic and delicious Korean food and a bakery. This is going to be our default grocery shopping destination.

Great korean supermarket. It is clean and has a wide variety of sauces, meats, seafood, fruit and vegetables. They have a lot to offer and if you are close by, you really should stop by. They also have a food court area and a bakery which is delicious. Come by

The food here is amazing but there are two major flaws with the store itself: 1. There are no baskets, only shopping carts, which makes the store way more crowded than it needs to be 2. The bags don't have any handles, so I can't walk back home with my stuff

H Mart in SF is a solid place to shop, especially if you’re willing to hunt for the sale items. Prices on many groceries are very competitive, and you can score some really good deals if you pay attention to weekly specials and markdowns. Selection is generally strong, particularly for Asian staples, produce, and packaged goods. The main downside is parking. It can get pretty tricky to find a spot on weekends, and the lot fills up fast during peak hours. If you go at a busy time, be prepared to circle or wait. Overall, a great grocery store with good value—just plan ahead for parking, especially on weekends.

No lines today at lunchtime. While shopping for items for a grill dinner party tonight, I saw that they have king crab in the frozen section, $22 a pound. They have the usual things found at a Korean supermarket. Marinated meats for BBQ, fresh kimchi and fried chicken. I was disappointed in their selection of frozen beef balls, chips and instant noodles. No wait at the cashiers. I wish they had hand baskets like any regular supermarket. My shopping habits don't allow me to buy that much as I tend to eat out 90% of my meals.

For Korean groceries and home goods, look no further. H Mart is well stocked and as a bonus, has a small but good food court. There’s also parking.

This is the food court inside H Mart. I am not talking about H Mart the grocery itself. The food court has about 7-8 different stores at most, including a Korean bakery and Chinese food as well as Korean. So there is a variety, but I would say the prices for the meals that you get and the quality and portions are not as great as if you were to eat outside in a restaurant. The space is very clean and the food is very clean. It closes by 8 PM. But if you’re hungry, it’s definitely good to go here and it’s a quick bite right before you go food shopping and there is parking in the lot and it’s a very popular place to go for food and Korean and Asian groceries.

The quality of food is getting worse and worse. I purchased the pre-packaged marinated kalbi today. I just cooked 30 minutes ago and my tongue literally was numb due to the extreme sugary and salty flavor. I placed kalbi on my plate and the beef was stuck on the plate. I had to even scrape it to eat it. I don't know if it is because of stupid amount of sugar or syrup they put in or the old beef. At this level of saltiness and sugary flavor, I am entertaining the idea that they may repackage old (marinated sometimes already) kalbi over and over again. I have never seen sticky cooked kalbi in my life. I wonder if I can bring the remainder of kalbi back to the store and get some refund.

Good shopping environment, but disappointed in the seafood quality. Bought two packs of Mantis Shrimp and cooked one: totally expired, empty or rotten inside.
