Absolutely beautiful cafe in North Beach. The only issue is they accept cash only. Sitting there makes me feel like I was in Europe. Spacious, friendly service. It’s nice they open early at 7am while other cafes open at 8am. Highly recommend to come here if you’re early bird before head to work.

I was thrilled to have stumbled upon this beautiful cafe. The food is wonderful, the coffee art is on point, and the atmosphere is addictive. It is cash only so hit that ATM before you stop in. It’s worth it. :)

If I could rate it above 5 stars, this cafe would definitely deserve it. I've lost count of how many times I've been to this cafe. It was my favorite place when I lived in SF. Even though I don't use cash, this cafe is cash-only, so I always made sure to have cash on hand to come here. The staff are all very friendly, making this cafe a really comfortable place to be. It gets busy during the day on weekends, but it's usually quiet in the evenings. They offer Wi-Fi and have power outlets, so it's great for people who want to work or study. Many people were also reading books. I used to work on laptop or study here until 11 pm. The area around is lively, so it felt safe even at night. I wish I could come across a cafe like this again...

Loved this cafe opposite our hotel, stopped for breakfast coffee and pastries a few times during our stay. Full of locals, lots of character - felt like going back in time.

The food was very delicious and pricing was great. I reveiwer complained about the food being overpriced, it's definitely not true. I loved it!!

Came here after dinner for a little sweet treat - keep in mind this place is cash only!! Biscotti was average but we rly liked the tiramisu! It was super airy and had the perfect ratio of cream and lady fingers in my opinion. The place has good amount of seating both inside and outside and the vibes of the place is comforting and nostalgic, which I rly love!

*cash-only -come prepared* Great late night spot for sweet treats and coffee. There might be some sketchy characters the later you arrive, but plenty of seating. We had cappuccinos and gelato and tiramisu! After a night of dinner & drinks, great way to end the night. The staff was friendly and efficient.

We enjoyed our lattes outside on the small round tables. Reminds us of the small Cafe's in Italy, people watching. We did see a small critter near the bench area but its SF, what can one expect.

Capuchino was... well... americanized :) more milk that I would prefer. Tiramisu was very good but I would prefer slightly stronger taste. Be avare that this is a self service place and they accept only cash.

Really enjoyed this café — the service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It’s the perfect spot to start the day with a good breakfast and a nice coffee.

I quite enjoyed this vibey little cafe. However you should definitely be prepared to bring cash or take cash out from the ATM. Prices lowkey gave me a heart attack but the tiramisù and mocha were good. Wifi is available for those like me who are looking to get a teensy bit of work done. Oh, and I enjoyed the music too!

Accidentally stumbled into this cafe, while waiting for our pizzas to cook in a nearby restaurant. This cafe transport you back to the last century. The decor is very 1960s. The space itself is huge though and has plenty of seats. They also have an outdoor area which is nice on a sunny day. Unfortunately, they don’t accept any form of digital payment, but only cash, but thankfully, they had an ATM on the premises because we did not have any cash. The ATM machine is very expensive, though. I got a regular vanilla latte while my friend got the hazelnut latte, and both of them were pretty good. Was this the best coffee I ever had? No. What is this and perfectly acceptable cup of coffee? Yes. I also had the lemon cake, which was very flavourful, but tad bit expensive. This is a cool place to visit if you’re in the neighbourhood.

Went for coffee and banana cake sweet. Coffee tasted burnt and barely drinkable despite being Illy. One star based on the bad taste. Cash-only policy is also a limitation, but the main issue wasn’t DJ the coffee.

The tiramisu is super overrated. It’s the worst tiramisu I have ever had in my life! The cream is frozen, the biscuit is tasteless and there is no coffee flavor. Even their Greco Grande cappuccino lacked the coffee flavor and wasn’t a strong capucinno. The seats are also right next to the each other to maximize customers at the cost of bad customer experience. The servers are rude and impatient. They took my order incorrectly and upon asking for clarification gave attitude for no reason. There is nothing Italian about this place. Feels like a scam!

Terrible coffee, tasted burned. Also no small cappuccino/latte, which tells you a lot. In the pic is the smallest one, the regular size teaspoon is there for proportion. The ice cream is just regular ice cream, not gelato. Definitely not Italian. Tourists mostly. Cash only.
