The best Nicaragua food in San Francisco, quality, taste and service are excellent. Prices are not expensive
Great food, good costumer services, but take a little too long to serve the food, I recommend!
The food is always amazing, I always end up getting carne asada. Whenever I travel to SF, this the place I look forward to eating at the most!!
As always satisfied with the food and atmosphere ,Every time I visit S.F this is my spot always to eat great Nicaraguan food and drinks.
Very authentic nicaraguan food, would recommend getting Carne asada, gallo pinto, tajadas verde, and queso frito. To drink definitely get a cacao
for me it is one of the best Nicaraguan restaurants in San Francisco. the flavors are on point.
Haven’t ate like this in a long time. The food was authentic and the mood was most definitely nicaragüense.
Delicious Nicaraguan cuisine by Ramon Cabrera. Good location and environment.
Excellent service, you find all kinds of Nicaraguan delicious traditional plates and popular prices accessible tu your wallet. Thank you Monchito and Alex for your wonderful services. God bless you.
Food is authentic but the best of the best is the waitress! Despite he is Mexican, he knows a lot about Nicaraguan dishes. Very lucky the owner having him working at his restaurant.
I had a great experience. I was there with a large party and the customer service was great! The food came out hot and yummy. I’d return again.
Veey Good Nicaragua food. Place is accessible and customer services is great.
Fantastic food! The naca tamales are flavorful, and big. Service was a bit slow, but that is the way everywhere nowadays.
If you want to eat authentic food from Nicaragua, I would totally recommend this place. They also have excellent service. And they gave a DJ on the weekends.
Delicious authentic nica food!! Place is very lively and everyone is extremely hospitable and welcoming! Will definitely come again!
Love this place. Me and the wife decided to walk down mission st deciding what to eat and decided to go back to Riconcito Nica. This time we got the house special, I call it, Fritanga. There is so much food that is plenty for 2-3 people. Plate is loaded with staek, pork, gallopinto, Maduro, queso Frito, and much more, and to top it off, pickled onions 😋. Definitely a must try
Larger than it looks from out front, it might be a bit sparse in decoration, but the service is fast and friendly and the food is ample and tasty. This was our first time here and we had the Filete a la Jalapeño and the Chancho Asado. There's a lot on the menu so we'll have to go back and try more.
Clean spot. Good food. Great service. The bathroom needed attention but a little communication and the problem was solved.
This is authentic Nicaraguan food! The gallo pinto was a bit crispy just how I like it, and the cacao tasted just like back in Nicaragua. The chancho was juicy & delicious; it’s so hard to find a restaurant in the U.S. that prepares it correctly. Visiting from out of town and so grateful I stopped here.
Super good place to eat. It brought me back to my aunt cooking. Definitely when I am back in the SF area coming back.
The food is amazing, delicious, all the savory words! Really brought me back to grandma's cooking.
Good Nicaragüense food. Owner & works very friendly,as you walk in restaurant very clean., Musical live DJ...

Delicious Nicaraguan food! Great vibe great music
I love this place. Authentic Nicaraguan food with a toña 🍺 and a pio quinto for dessert.
I freaking LOVE this place! Food is so authentic and mind you its the only Nicaraguan restaurant where customer service still exist ! My son asked for a specific plate and when it came , it looked differently then in the menu, so the owner Ramon rearranged the plate and changed the plate itself to a skillet as shown in the picture. I was bought! Great food, great people.
Great vibes & service. They have music in the weekend (May be a bit loud for some). My family and I get the carne asada, Gallo pinto with platano maduro plate & fried cheese. It’s soooo good. The chicha is delicious and so are the buñuelos. The owner is super friendly and greets you with a smile. Love going there.
The food here is so bomb it taste like my grandmother cooking. The food is good and the seasoning there. I had tried all the other Nicaragüense food on mission street and there is nothing like this place especially when it comes to the Nacatamales. If it’s your first time trying Nicaraguence come here you will not regret it.

Great authentic Nicaraguan restaurant. Service was slow so maybe calling ahead for take out would work better for these trying times
Food was delish, fast, friendly service. Great quantity
Good food, be ready to have a good tasting trip to Nicaragua without leaving the U.S.
Good food but can't talk or hear anything because of the song!!!
Place was different. Ambience was like a club style bar/restaurant. Food and service was good. Waiter was very attentive and talkative.
Some of the food we really liked, the plantains and fried cheese were awesome. Parking is a little bit of a hassle but then who drives a car these days? Not in the best part of town but that is the new situation in many parts of San Francisco, unfortunately.

Typically a family oriented restaurant with friendly staff and regulars that visit frequently to sit comfortably and enjoy a delicious Nicaraguan meal. Every known favorite dish is available on the menu. The wait is considerably long, but worth it. The only downfall that I can honestly say is that Sunday's music plays a bit too loud, and found myself having to raise my voice above the comfort zone to be heard. Overall, I recommend Rinconcito Nicaraguense for your next Nicaraguan Food cravings.

Service is quite sluggish.. Foods all right. I tried Carne Asada a la Parilla
Good food but limited menu, some selections are only for the weekend. Place is a little dated, some would say cultural.
The food was ok actually, and my waitress actually tried to do a good job, in spite of what appeared to be the boss yelling profanities(in Spanish) about why were they just standing around, and that he didn't give a #$&@ if they, or any guests, didn't like his tone. Anyway, that was unpleasant.
Food was good and fresh! Tostones con queso frito were delicious. Ordered the carne asada and portions were good, meat was a lil dry. Three stars because service was terrible! Restaurant was not full but waiter was tending to his friends… took longer to get noticed! I think he was waiting for us just to leave so he could just keep on visiting with his friends. I don’t think he likes new customers… will not come back! :0/
This tamales were seven dollars apiece and they were delicious and big however I called the restaurant ahead of time to make sure that they had a prune and raisins which is part of the Nacatamal. They said yes but I live in San Jose so I had my niece go pick up five of them for me which came to almost $40. Imagine my disappointment when I opened one and there was not one prune or raisin. I am very disappointed
I live in Oregon and don’t get to San Francisco much these days but my son brought 8 nacatamales from this place and only because I begged. They are flavorful and they are big but some had att the trimmings while others just had the meat and maybe a slice of potato. When I was a kid the big treat was the olive. No olive or at least not in mine. My daughter in law got an olive as did my oldest son but I’m now eating my second nacatamal, a couple days later and again, no olive. Other than tomato, potato and mint, none of the ingredients I’m used to seeing in a nacatamal are there. My son is coming back in a couple of months and it looks like he will bring them again but from a different restaurant

Food was good. Not as authentic like it should be. Service wasn't good neither. Won't be coming back.
On vacation in San Francisco with my family and I was in the mood for some Nicaraguan food. My cousin recommended Rinconcito Nicaragua, he's usually on point with his recommendations. Let's just say he faild on this one. The chia was more sugar than chia and my carne Asada was as salty as the San Francisco bay. Another negative was one cook was eating while cooking and the other's were not wearing their mask correctly. I guess southern California still reigns supreme as California's best Nicaraguan food. Cheers to La 27 and Sabor Nicaragüense
The food is way too salty! The drinks are way too sweet as well. Service is not that great. Would never go again
Music so loud couldn't hear anything else. Pork dry. Fish was really good. Bathroom dirty with throw up in sink. Best thing about restaurant was waitress. She was patient accommodating and did everything within her power to make our experience a good one. Unfortunately the really really loud music and bathroom cleanliness was a total turn off. Out of a few menu items as well so can't rate anything but fish and pork. Fish yummy pork not so much.

Music too loud, very noisy, very slow when you order your food, menu is very poor..
I really would not recommend this place. First time in SF. Went to this restaurant since my husband and bro-in-law are nicaraguense. Didn't have the plate my bro-in-law or I ordered. Waitress was not in the best if moods. So, no. Would nit go back again!
I had food poisoning from a Nacatamal. I don't think it was cooked thoroughly. Plus very small portions of pork. Not worth the $10
It's so disappointing we spent 100 dollars. We bought caballo bayo, 2 nacatamales, baho, cacao and chia. The only one it was great was the cacao. Everything was reheated, but that wasn't the problem. The thing was that it tasted like it was reheated more than three times. I couldn't with the flavor of the meat on the baho.
