My group of five had an absolutely wonderful experience here walking in on a weekday. The owner is the sweetest person alive, so attentive and accommodating. He shared recommendations and was so generous and excited we came in. The tomato broth, fresh vegetables, fried tofu, and especially the homemade noodles were absolutely wonderful. Great little sauce bar for all the flavours you want to add, everything fresh. The kitchen was quick and courteous with our later-added orders. Price was more than reasonable for all our food and the restaurant is lovely and calm inside, a good place to chat and enjoy company
The place is very clean and the staff are very friendly, and the food is extremely tasty. I’m so happy to find an authentic Chinese hot pot like this in San Francisco!! Completely made my day, will definitely come back again. (If you order the beef bone soup try to drink the soup as well, next level tasty)
Great hotpot spot with fresh ingredients and rich, flavorful soup. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable.
A delicious hot pot restaurant! The ingredients are very fresh! The Chongqing hot pot base tastes very authentic! The owner of the hot pot restaurant is also an artist! There are many artworks in the store!
Super friendly father and daughter running this newly opened place. Absolutely delicious! Honestly the best hot pot I’ve had in Chinatown. High quality meats, calm ambiance, and great sake! Come to support these wonderful people.
Just had dinner with my friend. The food and service was brilliant. The meets were fresh and the quality was best in the Bay Area.
Despite the interesting choice of the name, food is very authentic and deserves best hotpot in SF mention! Broth selection include delicious mushroom broth as well as traditional with spicyness levels to get you on 🔥 Selection of provides is large enough to satisfy even vegetarian! Meats are of great quality and my favorite: they had Brian and bone marrow 🥰 Rusting and modern environment with excellent and attentive service. Go before the lines get too long.
My favorite hotpot. It’s the most authentic in SF compared to some of the hotpot I’ve had in both Hong Kong and China! When it first opened we a went a few times a week. We take a lot of our friends here. The service is really hit or miss. When it gets really busy, the service gets spotty because they don’t have enough staff. Doesn’t stop me from coming tho, nope! It could get spicy so be careful what level of spice you choose. Medium is sometimes normal and other times too spicy! The fried rice is delicious!
We walked in here on a whim! We were greeted by a very enthusiastic kind man who explained hot pot, how to order and made sure we got enough and the combination of flavors were good. He also brought over the traditional mix of sauces and herbs form the sauce bar. The food it’s self was delicious! Ingredients were high quality and the broths wonderful. Would highly recommend the pork bone broth. Service was awesome! Cute atmosphere! Great food! Highly recommend!
This is amazing hotpot place in town. Had great experience with my friend. The owner is extremely nice and welcoming! The menu is also very authentic and fresh. Highly recommended!!!

The variety of fresh dishes is plentiful, ensuring a satisfying meal. The standout aspect is the impeccable service, complemented by a modern and clean decor, enhancing the overall dining ambiance. Five stars!

Just had dinner with my husband and we really enjoyed our time eating here, no idea why the rate is only 3.9, but really a very good place for traditional Chinese hotpot, good service also, would come back again for sure.
I went on a Monday and had one of the sweetest experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. Lilly the owner came and helped us cook items that were new to us and basically made sure everything was perfect. On top of that all the food was delicious and the broth was the best I have ever had at hot pot. I highly recommend to anyone.
Located in a quiet but a bit dirty and chaotic backstreet. Inside the restaurant, it is decorated just as those you can find in China. Boss is friendly and helping. The hotpot was super delicious and all ingredients we ordered were fresh. Very high quality price ratio.
Just tried Fondue for the first time and it honestly exceeded expectations. The broth was super rich and flavorful, and everything tasted really fresh especially the beef and the veggies. The sauce bar was also a highlight; you can really customize it to your liking. The place itself is clean, cozy, and has that nice mix of modern and traditional hotpot vibes. The owner was super nice and checked in often without being overbearing. It’s a little on the pricier side compared to some spots, but totally worth it for the quality and service. Definitely one of my new favorite hotpot spots! 😋🔥
We came here last night after a while (last visit was a year ago) and was surprised to see that business was slow on a Saturday night. I thought it was due to the Thanksgiving long weekend (many locals are out of town), but it seems like that was due to a change of management/ ownership. I thought the food was still solid as ever. They've updated to a self-ordering system (scan QR code and order food via your phone) that was frankly brilliant: You don't have to worry about trying to get the server's attention, and you can add any additional items during the meal too. When it's time to leave, checkout could also be completed on the phone. Also worth mentioning that we got the osmanthus jelly twice: After the feedback that the first one was too sweet, they adjusted the sweetness level down for our 2nd order. Really great service. We also got the chat with the new owner who was super lovely and hospitable! Would definitely come back and highly recommend!
Great meal! We really enjoyed the food and the environment is great! Service is awesome and the store manager is extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend
Most authentic Chongqing hotpot in the bay area!!! They make their own sesame sauce and chili oil too. Pro tip: just get Mild, it’s sooo spicy
This was my first hot pot experience ever and I am obsessed! We had the kindest server, who was very attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. Will definitely go here again!

A very authentic hot pot experience outside of Chinatown. Traditional Chinese fare served in a modern atmosphere. First things first, the broths are on point especially the bone broth. The spicy version is definitely fire water but oh so addicting. They have a great selection of meats for beginners and pros alike. I myself am a fan of the tripe boiled in the spicy broth. They also have a great selection of veggies too for all my non meat eating homies. Had a quite traditional yet inventive dessert I believe, idk you be the judge lol. Friendly and fast service as well. A good spot to got for some serious hot pot action.
Traditional Szechuan style hot pot finally in town! must try their spicy base soup if you are a spicy lover! The nice blocks hot pot is very authentic, fun to play during eating.

Unfortunately I regret eating here. The gizzard had a weird stale flavor. The beef tallow base was not real beef tallow. If you’ve ever had the real thing, it’s obvious. It didn’t solidify when it was cold and overall lacked any flavor except being a bit spicy. If that was the only problem it would be ok but none of the food was fresh. I can’t think of a single thing that tasted good here except the premade tofu pouches. Service was basically nonexistent, though friendly when they did show up.
You will get drastic diarrhea after eating here! The waitress here is condescending and it took them half an hour from receiving the order to putting the hotpot on your desk. Trust me. It's better off eating hotpot at home.
I eat here for several years, an old customer. Previously, every thing goes well. But my latest experience is terrible, food taste is different, soup taste is different, service is terrible. Heard the old boss has sold the hotpot restaurant to a new owner. Ok, will never come here again. The service is terrible! Almost make mistakes for all the tables, and give us another table’s soup! My fried rice never show up, no baby remember, even if I remind the waitress twice.
