Hidden gem Korean food spot near the Embarcadero! I ordered the spicy pork bibimbap and it was tasty with decent ban chan. The service was good and prices were not too bad as well. It’s hard to find solid Korean food in the area. It’s run by a mom and pop so I think it’s underrated / not well marketed
Great and delicious korean food. It’s very difficult for us to find the restaurant because it’s in the corner behind the building. Staffs are not good at English. Recommend for quick lunch.
So delicious! Recommend everything we ordered 👌

Very good food! Authentic Korean food!
One of the most authentic Korean places in SF! I’ve ordered delivery here multiple times and they’ve all tasted just like home cooking. I’d recommend the kimchi jjigae and ddukbaegi bulgogi - large portions and perfectly done.
Really great take out
Great food, great service, great price. Nothing better on a cold rainy night than some tea and sizzling hot bibimbap.
Such a nice spot with authentic Korean food and warm service! Thank you!
Excellent food and great service. I had the Kimchi fried rice with additional spicy pork. Make sure to stir the rice for a few minutes as it comes in a stone bowl just as the name of the restaurant suggests, otherwise your bowl will burn the rice and it’ll become hard. I liked their banchan a lot personally, and during the lunch rush this place is pretty empty and I was served my food seemingly in record time. Prices were very fair. Their gyoza was pretty good. Curious about their dubu, but that’s for next time. All in all, I will come back again and bring some coworkers. This place is so good.
Bulgogi kimbap was fantastic , love the danmugi😘nice vegetable preparation 🔪🥕🥒🌱🥣 tasty kimbap sauce. 🌶️ Also a wide variety of Korean food on the menu have not tried yet. In dining for the restaurant Or you could take it to go and you're right there on the Embarcadero. Couple that runs the place is great! Right next to the Hyatt
I picked this place on a whim and really enjoyed the service and experience. Plenty of little bites plus the meal. Worth a try and they had several regulars come in while I was there.
Wonderful safe outdoor dinner last night for two of us –– and for a modest $40 (+tip). We had their speciality dish, Korean Bulgogi in a stone bowl (which both keeps it hot and allow the rice to be deliciously crisped on the bottom of the bowl). And we started with Bulgogi Ddukbeki , also served in a large stoneware below, a chicken or beef soup. Both have lots of veggies and were particularly good. We've eaten here before the pandemic and the food was actually even better now perhaps because there are few diners now, which leaves time for even more care. We didn't get the beer last night but from several previous experiences, I can tell you it goes very well with the food and that we've liked every dish we tried. All entrees also come with 4 little complimentary Korean appetizers –– one spicy, one a little sweet (sweet potatoes), one salty and one fried tofu slices, which made the meal interesting. But perhaps best of all is that both the restaurant and the outdoor patio were almost empty at our 5:30 pm time which allowed us to feel very safe. And the view: from the patio where we ate, but also possible from inside, there's a view of the Embarcadero Plaza fountain, the clock and tower of the Ferry Building and the park with trees and lawns to the side of the fountain. If you like Korean food at all –– or adventuring with new cuisine- this is certainly the place to go for a very pleasant evening meal or lunch for the food, the prompt service the view and the moderate price.
Absolutely phenomenal spot! Kinda of tucked away in a corner so it seems like a hole in the wall. Highly recommend for a quick lunch!

One of the best Korean places in this area. They even serve some semi local hawaii thi gs like fried spam and eggs, or fried rice.

Lunch at one of my pre-covid favorites! So happy they survived. We shared stone sticky wings, fried shrimp, kimchee fried rice and pork trotters. Soooo good. All the little sides were good as well. One of the benefits of being back in SF part time for work is definitely the restaurants and great food!

I didn’t expect much from Stone Korean Kitchen . It’s better than I expected! Really enjoyed the chicken ginseng soup

Lunch there is delicious but their hours seemed to be wrong. We showed up right after 6pm on Thursday and they were closed.

The food is decent, but they never open the connected patio even on nice days and were rude when I asked to sit outside. Just close the patio.
Bibimbap, spicy pork, and soon du bu were tasty, but the bugolgi and kalbi were a little tough. Also felt like the duk bok ki was a little too undercooked. Restaurant just felt cold and could use some better lighting!

Premade food, grossly overpriced. The Kalbi meat was very fatty, inedible. The pot stickers were like made a week ago.
I had a delivery for this place and I could not find it. I called them twice and simply asked how to get there and both times both people who worked there could not articulate how to reach the restaurant from the entrance in front and got angry and hung up on me this seems to be a recurring theme with Asian businesses and I find it very rude that they can’t be bothered to answer a simple question and Instead of saying sorry I don’t now how to answer your question they choose to be angry and hang up. It’s really bad business practice because now I don’t feel comfortable going there ever again.
