I’m vegetarian so finding good sandwich places that have good vegetation options can be challenging. Ike’s goes above and beyond. I’m never seen such a vast vegetation/vegan options at any sandwich shop EVER. Their “favorite Sesame Street character” on Dutch crunch bread literally changed my life. Best sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life.

Mini Boss is the perfect bar for relaxing and escaping the hustle and bustle of the city. Friendly staff and great slot machines will keep you entertained. I recommend visiting this place with friends or your significant other. It gets very crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, so there might not be enough seats; book in advance.

Fun location, with many arcade cabinets & a very nice collection of pinball tables. Great atmosphere & staff... ( it also has a bar area, it's a very relaxed and fun environment that is enjoyable without alcohol affecting the experience for non-drinkers).

It's counter service but the food is actually pretty good. The game selection is so so, but memories. Drink selection and bar service is pretty good. Only draw back is tables stay dirty a bit. I've been here a few times and always a fun retro experience.

Great bar in Downtown San Jose. They have a large selection of pinball and arcade machines. They also are very festive for Christmas and the decorations and lights are very fun. They have a selection of drinks that are pretty good and a full kitchen that was pumping out some good looking options. On a Saturday night it was very busy and was full of great vibes and is a must visit bar/arcade in the Bay!

Miniboss is one of our favorite date night spots in SJ! We first came in on a Saturday night around 9:30. It was decently full, but we didn’t have a problem ordering drinks or playing games. Staff are friendly, and we were served quickly. The cocktails and the games are a highlight for sure. We usually find ourselves back at Miniboss after a weekend dinner in San Pedro area. Certain nights - like Halloween weekend - can get very packed. Recommend parking in any of the structures around San Pedro Square area and walking over. Compared to some SF barcades I’ve been to, Miniboss is well organized, clean, and fun. We always have a blast playing games like Street Fighter, TMNT, and pinball. Sometimes you have to wait to play, but people are generally friendly and will let you take your turn shortly after them. All in all, one of our go-to spots!

Visit: September 2024 Really cool bar, really like the old school gaming aesthetics. Couple of fun games around to play. Was a fun vibe, my friends and I took some people to town on a driving game in a 3v3 which made our night! Only got a drink there, it was a spur, but it was alright! Bar prices are high but thats normal. But the vibe everywhere was great and the place was packed!

The whole atmosphere of here is great, we went early on a Thursday to check it out. It wasn’t too busy when we got there but it quickly started filling up. The bartenders were great everyone was working fast but still very friendly. Drinks were good, I liked the uncommon blends they use to make unique cocktails.

From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted by the sights and sounds of a time once forgotten. The place is inviting, with a bar in the center and rows of arcade games on either side. They also serve great fresh hot food, making you want to lose yourself for hours in this place. There's also a couple of large rooms behind the bar with rows and rows of arcade games and pinball machines. Whether you're itching for a round of Street Fighter, craving the heart-pounding action of Donkey Kong, or seeking the challenge of Terminator or Ms. Pac-Man, you'll find no shortage of iconic titles to choose from. You can take a nice break from all the playing in the Tetris themed chill out area. I was super surprised with this place. An unplanned visit turned into a great evening of fun. Don't be disheartened by the sketchy location of the place. Once you're here you will lose yourself in all the fun.

I've been here twice now. The second time was on a Thursday where they have free games. You should come within happy hours on Thursdays and you'll get a really good deal. The drinks are decent and the food is pretty good, surprisingly. I liked their chicken wings. My husband liked the pepperoni flatbread. Service is great too! Definitely recommend as a place to hang out and have a drink.

Saturday night :Many old school video games and pinball machines! Big enough to not have to wait or feel cramped. Games were 25-50 cents (glad to see cost not inflated!) and there were areas to put your drinks next to the pinball games. Friendly atmosphere, totally fun and great drinks and food. Loved the graffiti style art on the walls and big screens playing old school cartoon!! Little to no wait for the bar. My friends and I had a great time and it is central to all other clubs if you want to go dancing or take on a comedy show!! I will definitely recommend checking it out!

First time visiting Ike’s and I was only after a quick bite. Was pleasantly surprised by the extensive sandwich menu they offer and the #2 Hollywood’s SF cheesesteak that I chose was a great sandwich which I’ll be coming back for.

Big variety of sandwiches and what I've tasted so far have been yummy. Fairly fast service and I'm always happy to deal with a friendly staff.

Very fun and unique place. Great beers and a lot of video games and pinball machines. Enjoyed playing classics like donkey kong, ms pac man, and many others. Since we are older, perhaps we felt a little out of place since most of the customers were in their 20s, but really, who cares? We're still young at heart.

A lot of the top games I played as a kid and you can versus your friends or random people. I ordered the multi player because it takes more players to finish

Came here for a pinball tournament. It's a very nice bar and has several separate areas where there also video games along the walls. The pinball machines are in the back area where the food pickup area is. I ordered a Maitai from the front bar and it was really nice. The pins are very nice too, and they are well maintained. Priced very well @.75/gm 3 for 2.00. I didn't order food, so I cannot comment, but it looked good.

Cool Vibe hangout stop where everyone seems to have the same unspoken agenda.. Have great drinks, play video games, and sober up with a great deep dish personal with 80's/90's on big screens. Good Sandwich but for the price I expected more meat and more coleslaw on my Ruben sandwich. $25.00 for 2 sandwiches. For me it wasn't worth the price.

Waited more than thirty minutes for two orders of sandwiches. Lady at the cashier did not get one of my order right even i said clearly more than three times my order .

I've had good sandwiches in the past but this is just embarrassing. My Thanksgiving sandwich is missing stuffing and cheese. Turkey and cranberry sauce on the world's flattest sandwich is not a $14 value. Why is the bread so pale? Update: They gave me two free sandwiches in my account (rather than the refund I would've preferred) and the icing on the cake is that I can only use one at a time. Since I only go here to grab dinner with my partner, I still have to buy a sandwich each time. This is the last two times I'll be buying anything here. Update #2: They did it again. Half my sandwich ingredients are missing. At least they cooked the bread this time but you have to be kidding me.

The place, music, and service was amazing 🤩. But the drinks were horrible. Mine tasted like vomit and my friend's was too sour to drink. I felt bad because our bartender was great.

The service was friendly, and the employee prepared my order exactly as requested (turkey, bacon, and avocado). However, the meat and produce did not taste fresh, and I noticed opened bread sitting out on the counter, which raised some concerns about freshness and food handling.Additionally, the tables and floors were not clean, which affected the overall experience.

I'm allergic to EGG and dairy. Eosinophilic Esophagitis. So I asked for no cheese and no Mayo. My sandwich had cheese and mayo on it, so I'll be throwing up for the next couple of days. Wish I had noticed sooner. I'm a transgender woman, I was called sir despite my name being Feminine. I don't normally mind, I don't expect much from people because they might get confused but these issues felt compounded. Everything genuinely felt intentional, but who knows. I won't be eating here in the future.

I work at an arcade bar so I am always excited to find another one to support. Unfortunately I didn't even get a chance to go inside because I didn't have my Service dogs physical card. I have her certificate and ID in digital form in which you could look up her service number to see if it is real. Which you shouldn't even require to see but I still made an effort. Still wouldn't let me in so I ended up going down the street to Fox Tail Fermentation Project and had a great drink and wonderful service. Don't think I will ever come back to try Miniboss which is very unfortunate 😕
