Been coming here many times for dinner, lots of options to choose from, and we probably had it all. First time come here for lunch, not as many as the dinner menu, that's why we took almost all the appetizers, and they are GREAT. Birthday guy got his dessert with a candle to blow. Never disappointed!

Truffle fries are dope!! This place is perfect for a date or even a hangout with group of friends. Inside seating is lit currently due to holiday decor! We sat outside and they provided a heater. The heater was not very strong but kinda enough for us. Drinks: 10/10 Food: 10/10 Service speed and hospitality: 10/10

Excellent Happy Hour Daily and on weekends,3 pm to 6 pm. The Final performance of The Santana Row Spirit of the Row recently Dec. 16th, a bunch of girlfriends reserved a big table on the patio to watch the final performances. We share great snacks for Happy Hour. Here is the Stella Beer and the Calamari. I highly recommend. Many other great Happy Hour Snacks daily and very enjoyable on the patio or inside next to the bar area.

An amazing French restaurant located in the heart of Santana Row, Left Bank is one of the premier French restaurants in the area. The menu is balanced and includes many options for appetizers, entress and beverages. Their patio has a very elegant feel to it, while still allowing you to take in the sights of Santana Row. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked.

Left Bank is a Silicon Valley institution. Their Santana Row location has been here from the beginning, and once you try the food you'll understand why. I especially love their beef tartare, onion soup, and moules frites. The steak frites are also excellent, whether you get peppercorn or Bordelaise sauce to go with it.

We enjoy coming here for brunch and dinner. They used to have the seasonal passport menu celebrating specialties from different French regions. We missed it, as the menu and flavors of the dishes were very close to authentic. Escargot, steak tartare, croque monsieur, moules frites, salade verte, duck confit, and crème brûlée are classics. They now serve croque madame, nice! We were wondering why it wasn’t on the menu before. Bon appétit!

Wonderful restaurant in Santana Row, one of our go to places for lunch and dinner. Salads and soups are amazing and they have great lunch specials. Their drinks are delicious. We almost always sit at the bar and we get great service and conversation each time. Restaurant has a classic but not stuffy vibe to it, feels authentic and not just a show. Lots of seating choices from bar to outside and in the dining room.

We came here for dinner and loved the chill vibe, especially with the live music. After finishing our appetizer, we did get a bit hangry since it took about 20 minutes for the mains to arrive-the restaurant was packed, which to me is always a sign the food is worth the wait. When we checked in with the staff, all of our dishes came out right away. The most surprising part was at the end when we asked for the check, the staff told us the bill had been waived by the manager. Honestly, I can’t thank them enough for how they handled the situation. Alex did an amazing job: aside from the slight delay, the food itself was 10/10. The staff apologized while serving, and Alex personally came by again to say sorry. Truly impressed with how the restaurant handled a small hiccup - it turned what could’ve been a negative into such a positive experience.

Love the food, I ordered Beef Bourguignon! Love every bite to every last drop of the gravy! Excellent service! Amazing ambience.

Came here for dinner with a friend to experience French cuisine and was impressed with the ambience and the selection of dishes offered. Top marks for the cheese fondue and the crème burlee. Came here again for lunch on during a Saturday noontime.

Lovely dinner at Left Bank! The baked Camembert was so good! Drizzled with honey and gooey melted cheese this was enjoyed by the whole table. Did not manage to get a snap of the escargots. Gone in a flash! All garlicky and eaten with the bread served on table. I really enjoyed the pork tenderloin, nice portion not too big.

Went here on a Monday during lunch hours. Not a busy time so my experience was excellent! I had Escargot for appetizer, Salmon entree & crème Brûlée 🍮 for dessert! Both service & food were great!! I shall return to try their duck. I don’t drink so I can’t speak on their drinks. The environment is beautiful & non-pretentious. Great ambience!

We absolutely loved this place. Such great food! And the service was just as wonderful! We sat outside due to Covid, but it was still a great experience with the heaters and being able to people watch as everyone walked through Santana Row. Must try the Salmon. Honestly the smoothest, melt in your mouth Salmon I have had, and they pair it with some wonderful sauce and veggies 😋 also the steak tar tar is fire. Great starter, lots of flavors. And the fettuccine is great, comes with a warm poached egg in top, and the dish itself is so unique with all the different ingredients. We will most definitely be back again soon!

First time here and this place is absolutely remarkable! Today we had the pleasure of being served by Tommy. If you ever decide to dine here, see if you can request to be seated in Tommy's section. He will take care of all your needs. He gave us wonderful recommendations on everything we inquired about and ALL dishes were deliciously satisfying. The quality and presentation of our food and cocktails were beyond our expectations. Wait time for appetizers, cocktails, main course and dessert were all served within a short period of time. Everything just flowed so smoothly, this experience along with Tommy's attentiveness to our needs was one for the books! 🥂 Thank you, we will be back soon 💋.

My husband’s steak~New York strip was the best he’s had so far and we’ve been to some of the best steak houses in the multiple states. My meal ~scallops and the fried rice was “fire”! Even the Old fashion was made to precision, the wine was good and Jose the waiter was attentive…! Highly recommend!

Solid business dinner there. Manager was wandering around making sure everything was perfect. Table likes the escargot (not my thing) and 2 plate of calimari disappeared quickly.

Wonderful lunch outside. Our server Old School gave us incredible service and was very entertaining. Highly recommend the French soup and Salad Verte. We’ll be back!

Left Bank is a fantastic spot for French brasserie dining in the heart of Santana Row. The atmosphere feels lively yet elegant, making it perfect for brunch, date night, or a relaxed dinner with friends. Service is attentive and polished without feeling rushed, and seating is comfortable both indoors and on the patio. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and experience justify it.

We started with cocktails: a lemon drop and a spicy margarita. They were refreshing. Then we had cheese fondue and mussels. Oh my! Yummy. They were both delicious. Our main entrees were the hanger steak and beef bourguignon. The meats were cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. We had Brussels sprouts and they were cooked perfectly. Thank you for a delicious meal and a good night out. Humberto was our server and he was kind and attentive. It was the perfect ending to a Friday night.

I had the escargot n steak frittes. Cooked to perfection and it’s difficult cause steak is thin. Great food as usual n great service from Mr personality OS(old school). All are great n should teach Menlo Park about customer service. Thank you for always being cheerful and accommodating. I retired from 33 years of f flying n management and your customer service service is always good. Thank you, Geri Alexander

We spent New Year’s Eve at Left Bank and had an amazing time. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating—they even welcomed our small dog into the restaurant and treated us to complimentary champagne. A lady sang beautifully, and a gentleman performed a Frank Sinatra song, which made the evening feel truly special. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Thank you so much for hosting such a memorable night for us. 🥂✨

Spent a nice afternoon at Santana Row – 377 was buzzing! It was really busy when we went for lunch, mostly outdoors which was lovely. The food was solid, portions were good value for the price. We waited a little while for our mains, but the staff were really apologetic about it, and the manager even waived the bill – incredible service! It was a bit chaotic but a genuinely positive experience. Maybe they could use a few more servers during peak times though.

Okay, so I checked out Santana Row’s French restaurant the other day. It was pretty busy, definitely a buzz. The place itself is really stylish, split into two areas – one super open with the kitchen view, and another back near the kitchen. I sat at the main one. My meal was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but the portions were generous for the price. The staff were really friendly. Honestly, I think they should bring back that seasonal passport menu; I heard others talking about how amazing it was! Parking was a bit of a struggle, so maybe go early.

Great spot. Food came out fresh and full of flavor, and the service was on point the whole time — attentive without being annoying. The atmosphere is relaxed but classy, perfect for sitting down and actually enjoying your meal. Definitely a place I’ll come back to.

Traditional French dishes. The beef is not as tender as I thought, and the mussels are not fresh. Other dishes are good.

Decent French food restaurant in Santana Row. Nice atmosphere and seating indoors and outdoors. Some tasty appetizers such as the French Onion soup and escargot. Lamb entre is quite tasty. Good selection of desserts. Okay wine selection.

+ It's a very sexy space, I love the styling of this restaurant. At the top tier with the other best on Santana row for my taste. + Ordered Creme Brule, Fondue, Escargot, Oysters, Raclette Burgers, and Beef Bourguignon -> generally good but the apps felt simple. Oysters were a selection but weren't labeled. + Ordered an amber ale draft and the lady had an orange creamsicle cocktail -> both great selections. + Service was quick and friendly, since the space is so large it looks like most people don't have to wait.

We make a reservation for our friend's bday. It was a rainy day so we asked for inside tables. They have 2 different parts. One is main that's very nicely designed and great vibes. The other is at the back 8n front of the kitchen. I was surprised because we booked it ahead of time and I didn't expect they give us a table right next to their open kitchen. Anyway, make sure you ask for the place in front because the back one literally looks like average dinary. We ordered 3 different meals and drinks plus appetizers. All average. It was good and nice taste but nothing special that I would like to go back and try again. The staff are hospitable and welcoming. I liked my drink. It was great.

Decided to pop in and check the place out for lunch and were pretty happy with our experience. Since it was a beautiful day we opted to sit outside. The food here is good, not too pricey, and the drinks are well-made. However, service was a bit slow (most likely due to us being outside) even though the restaurant was mostly empty. The place is pretty clean and the atmosphere was buzzing outside with all the foot traffic around us. Overall, a pretty good pick for an outdoor lunch.

Stopped by and had lunch there and it was very pleasant and a good experience. The oysters were very fresh and not dirty at all. No grit or anything! The French dip sandwich was the right serving size amount and overall was great. I wish the outside umbrellas had more coverage but that's a small nitpick other than that nothing else was bad! Would go again !

The location is obviously great for a touristy day in San Jose. If you can get a seat outside it is much nicer outside than inside. We did not have a reservation, but we got a table for 3 after waiting 25 minutes on a Saturday so it is not that bad. The service was pretty good but the food is average at best. We ordered their mimosa which was a mix of juices, it was ok again nothing special. The croissant sandwich was underwhelming and half the size of a normal croissant and the bacon was overpowering all other tastes. The steak was good but serving fruit on the same plate as steak and sauce is just messy. The sausage dish was good though. Nice location 🙂

Enjoyable experience overall! The venue is pleasant, although a tad noisy. However, the exceptional service and delicious food more than make up for it. I opted for the Niçoise salad, which not only came in a generous portion but was also incredibly tasty. My friend tried the oysters and was thoroughly pleased with her choice. A delightful dining experience with great service and scrumptious dishes.

Good, but not memorable or outstanding, French cuisine. Lobster bisque was too salty but onion soup was good. Tuna tartare was light and tasty, served with crispy onions and avocado on top, and warm bread on the side. Coq au vin, a special, was filling and tasty, as was the steak frittes. Steak was thinly sliced and tender, and the herb butter made it quite flavorful. Fries were crispy. Chocolate fondant cake was a great, decadent way to end our dinner! Service started out shakey but improved. ...

A lovely restaurant with some great outdoor seating. Perfect place to relax, have a meal, and people watch. The service was great during our whole meal. Food was also great with the exception of the onion soup. I wish it had more onion flavor and onions themselves in the dish. But overall we had an excellent time. Would definitely come back and check out their dinner menu.

My favorite dishes were the side orders of green beans, mushrooms, and a salad. The vegetables were delectable. Friend really enjoyed the escargot too. Calamari was excellent! The steak frites was chewy but good. Didn’t try the dessert menu but maybe next time! Very classy atmosphere that’s also down-to-earth and feels a little bit like a Cheesecake Factory ambiance.

Had a great family dinner at an outdoor table right in front of the restaurant front door. Weather was great albeit it became a bit chilly as night falls. The waitress kindly turned on the heater tower for us. The foods were generally quite good. Wished the breads used in the dishes could have better texture, chewiness, and flavor. They tend to be a bit hard and dry. Service was ok. Perhaps they were short-staffed so sometimes service was slower than desired.

Went for Valentine's Day and put in my Open Table note we'd like a nice table because we just got engaged. They put us at a table outside in the middle of the square, in the cold. They have heaters, but they don't radiate much heat, so I was freezing the whole time. The food was all very good. Had French onion soup, steak tartar, and for entrees we had the sole and buttenut squash ravioli.

We sat outside on a cool early evening but they had a lot of beautiful heat lamps to keep us warm and Santana row is beautifully decorated this time of the year. The menu is pretty simple but they do have a lot of drink options, so I ordered a bacon cheeseburger which was delicious. My cousin said her salmon was good and so was the calamari. You can order the bread which is hard on the outside soft on the inside and according to my cousin, delicious. My waiter Philip was very good. I find it a little unsettling that they take the same water jugs from table to table and refill them vs giving you a new, clean water jug.

Came on a Saturday for lunch (amid Covid) with a paltry wait time of 5 minutes. Restaurant was relatively busy but a few open seats. Waitress was prompt to serve us and attentive, amicable. The ambiance was nice and spacious, enough room and comfortable outdoor for 2 of us and a stroller with plenty of space between us and the next tables. Overall meal was good - sausage was delicious with the mustard sauce; duckbreast and polenta was decent albeit not too filling. The French 75 sparkling cocktail was refreshing but served a bit late prior to the meal being served. Overall a great place to chillax and have a good meal.

We had happy hour and dinner. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. Our server was new and didn't know the menu that well, but had a good attitude and found out the answers to our questions. The food came out fast and was pretty good.

Nice atmosphere for a group. Food was good. I ment to order the New York and some how my mouth said skirt steak. The sauce was ok. The mash potatoes were good. I don't think I'll go again. There are a lot of other places on SR. I didn't choose the restaurant. Coworker said the artichoke raviolis were good. And the duck.

Open-air dinner at the end of the year! The temperature in the evening is very low, but the outdoor insulation measures of the restaurant are well done, and the outdoor is very warm. The service was good, and each of us ordered a main course, but each dish didn't leave a deep impression. Punch in here once!

I was there in Nov 2020, right after they were allowed to open for dine in and before they closed again. That may explain the service issues, which was my only ding for the rating which would have been a 5 otherwise. The food was excellent. We sat on the patio and our waiter was mostly absent. When we finally got her attention, she didn’t return with the requested items for quite some time and we gave up. The food was very good in spite of the wait staff. We had a tartare opener that was excellent. As a shareable, it would be better with more toast points that are smaller. It comes with three baguette sized slices. There was a great quantity of the tartare. Very fresh meat. I would order that again. We also had the butternut squash soup which my companion thought was quite tasty. I had a French onion soup that was killer. Really nice broth and sweet onions.

Mixed. Cost for two with no drinks was $180+. Table was very small and could not accomodate our plates, no room for feet with large table stand. The calamari was served on top of the aioli - ok but not great. The goat cheese and fig salad had a large slice of lunchmeat and the goat cheese was a small round on top - it was necessary to slice and mix everything to eat. Couldn't recommend. The fondue was excellent as was the onion soup although rather small. Chose the special entrees - the halibut portion was very small slightly dry and had a very sweet orange sauce. The Beef bourguignon had a good sauce but very little meat. Could not recommend either. The fondue was the best item until the dessert which was a chocolate tree with cotton candy and ice cream served in a dry ice bowl. Visually appealing and fun. A mandatory 5% 'living wage' is added to the bill - tough when the pricing is already upscale.

T

Best thing here is the atmosphere. Appetizers are average. Mains were not good and stay away from the chicken over mash potatoes. It was small and dry. I can make this better. The skirt steak was not as good as the past.

This place is supposed to be a high end place in a high end mall. However, it was neither of those things. The food was okay, some things were better than others. Definitely not worth the inflated price to eat at Santana Row. Our server was friendly and accommodating but seemed really busy for a more than half empty restaurant.

K
Kaldi Lin

Disappointing value for the price. > I ordered the Beef Bourguignon and Duck Confit for takeout, which totaled over $80. While the flavor was okay, the portion sizes were quite small for this price point. To provide some perspective, my hand is relatively small (only 15cm from the wrist to the tip of my middle finger), yet it nearly covers the entire container. Furthermore, the Beef Bourguignon only contained four small pieces of beef, while the rest of the bowl was filled with carrots, mushrooms, and potatoes. I was hoping for a more substantial meal given the $80+ cost. Unfortunately, it didn't feel like a good value for money.

Edward Kress

The service was good and efficient. I had the French Dip and the Salade Verte and both were surprisingly disappointing. I have eaten a lot of French Dips in my time and this ranks towards the bottom of a very low floor. Not only was the meat hard to locate but the au jus tasted like very weak beef broth with Worcestershire Sauce to disguise that. Without a doubt not worth $30!! Perhaps I was hanging onto my previous experiences at the Left Bank in Larkspur but I am amazed how much they have slipped. I have no interest in returning.

S

We ordered steaks but they never ask how you want to cook just go ahead cook medium rare for everyone, service very slow and have to wait for long time. The place and view is not nice as pictures, never come back this restaurant again.

We had a 6:30 pm reservation for the Christmas prix fixe dinner, and the experience was unacceptable from start to finish. Despite it being an early seating, we were told the short rib entrée was already sold out. On a fixed holiday menu with known covers, this is poor planning. We were offered flank steak as a substitute with no price adjustment, despite it being a significantly cheaper cut. The steak itself was chewy, bland, and barely seasoned. My wife ordered the salmon, which was overcooked and completely dry. The Brussels sprouts were doused in what was described as a squash sauce, but it appeared to be the exact same watery squash soup served as an appetizer, simply ladled over the plate rather than a properly prepared sauce. The winter squash soup I ordered was cold, thin and flavorless and arrived without the croutons or accompaniments listed on the menu. The mashed potatoes described as “horseradish” mash contained no detectable horseradish and were completely under-seasoned. Bread and butter were not included with the prix fixe and had to be ordered separately. When it finally arrived, it was served after our main courses and was extremely hard and rubbery, literally inedible. I also ordered the $25 holiday aperitif, which tasted like harsh, low-quality alcohol mixed with Tang. It was nowhere near the quality or balance you’d expect at that price point. For a $75 Christmas prix fixe (plus a $25 cocktail), this felt like a bait-and-switch: menu promises not delivered, poor execution across multiple dishes, and no effort at service recovery. What should have been a special holiday dinner instead felt careless, rushed, and grossly overpriced. We would not return for a prix fixe meal here and would caution others against booking holiday dining.
