The service was great and the food was delicious. Rustic and Lola's are side by side and owned by the same people so you can order from either menu in either resturant. We actually ate in Rustica but ordered from the Lola menu. The Skirt Steak Mofongo was delicious with an excellent sauce. The Roast Pork Mofongo was good though the sauce is lighter with less flavor. The pork is very good.

Had a delicious dinner here, not overpriced for a hotel dining experience. You can get local or Italian dishes, and everything seems to be perfectly made. Service was stellar and overall a great place to have a nice dinner.

A very lovely dinner experience! No need to leave the hotel as Rustica & Lola offers local PR food as well as Italian. Food was flavorful & presentation perfect. Staff are pleasant & responsive. We enjoyed every bit from the appetizers to entrees.

I enjoyed every meal I had at the Rustica y Lola’s. Especially the Aranitas which is Crunchy fried plantain with meat sauce. Yummy appetizer. I also love to beans that came with the rice and fish I ordered. Also the Risotto Di Mare was super amazing with the salmon.

Open at eleven and close at ten. They served two different menu, Italian and Puerto rican cuisine. Cocktail really good here but not so much for the food. It's pretty heavy for my tastes but we enjoyed. Fast services and intuitive.

Omg!!!! The food and service is SUPERB! I couldn’t even get up from the table without leaving a review! I’m sure all the servers are great but Jeannel is AWESOME! Food recommendations and his service made it an experience to say the least! If ever in Old San Juan, head over to Lola’s! They have TWO menus. One Italian and one Puerto Rican cuisine! Two thumbs up!

Two menus in one. Ate here 3 times during a 7 night stay. The piña coladas are amazing and the fried pork and filet mignon dishes are just perfect. Servers were very kind and friendly. Gets a bit loud at dinner time.

I ate from the Rustica menu and enjoyed each item I had. The beef carpaccio was very good, and I was surprised by how much I did enjoy the pasta with marsala sauce with the chicken marsala served over it. Their Moscow Mules are also very good.

While staying at Caribe Hilton, we ate here at Rustica y Lola's and had a pleasant experience. All of our meals were good and were presented nicely. Pictured is the Parmigiana di Melanzana, the Meatballs, and the Lasagna. We were pleasantly surprised that despite being in Puerto Rico, they had some good italian food! We would visit again if we are staying in the area.

We had Jerry as our server the first night, and asked for him each night afterwards. My rating for the atmosphere is for the Lola side of the restaurant; the Rustica side is more of a sports bar, which didn't appeal to us. (The restaurants are attached and both menus are available in each.) Pricey, but worth it.

This was a really fine restaurant. The service was really good, and the food was delicious. The smoked drink was super good. 4 stars because it was significantly over priced, and I ordered the Halibut, but ended up with Mahi Mahi. It was delicious, but just not what I ordered. Didn’t really want to sit and wait another 20 minutes, so I accepted it.

I liked Veggie chips, Primavera Risotto as a side order, Pina Colada and Mofongo. Everything I ordered was vegetarian. I was glad that they customized it.

This was our last night at the Caribe and wanted to try this place before leaving. Our server was sweet and attentive. My Moscow mule was awesome. The calamari is a must have! Our entree was good , but our desserts were even better! I would return , but try a different entree.

I was staying at the hotel so I went in for dinner and I had the chicken Parmesawhich was adequate. I asked if I could have parpadelle with my chicken Parmesan as a substitute and I was informed it would cost me five dollars extra which was kind of high. Service was not very good. I ordered an Apperal spritz and it cost me $17 which I thought was outrageous considering I can go to Morton’s steakhouse at happy hour and get a martin For $10. When you’re staying at the hotel, you have no choice but to try the restaurants.

Good restaurant in the hotel. Two separate menus local and Italian. Looked like it would be a while to wait but we're seated pretty quickly. Soup was cold was the only reason for four instead of five.

After driving 2.5 hours to get back to our hotel from La Parguera, we were tired and hungry. Given that it was Friday, we didn't think we be able to get a party of 5 in but we did. After waiting a very reasonable amount of time, the waiter brought our food out. We ordered lasagna, chicken parm, skirt steak and the kids spaghetti. While it wasn't the best Italian we'd had on the island, it was very good. I would, without a doubt, come back again.

This is the restaurant inside the Hilton caribe hotel. I ordered a Cesar salad and mahi mahi along with some passion fruit juice. The juice was great. The Cesar salad was ok, pretty standard. Mahi mahi was a bit fishy but I did enjoy the mix of veggies in there. Had some mushroom, carrots, zucchini etc that was soft and well suited the fishy flavor.

Food was okay! Steak was the best thing and the drinks were okay. Service was not so good! No one checked on us and the waitress check on us at all. I this was standard until I saw the other waiter checking on his tables! Chicken Marsala was okay and the potatoes were a NO. No

Epic small portions on the take out with ultra high prices on 2 pasta dishes. Ordered the spaghetti carbonara with chicken (chicken cost $8 extra for 4 thinly cut pieces) $28 + $8 and a beef risotto $36 and a pizza $16 came out to $97 with the 11% tax. How is Puerto Rico so poor again?

Food was absolutely terrible! The salad was watery, my husband ordered the ribeye, he wanted it cooked medium rare. The picture shows the steak AFTER it was refired I ordered the risotto di manzo. Tons of oil and the filet was so overcooked it didn't even taste like it was an actual steak. The only saving grace was our waitress.

Assuming by the prices, the food should reflect and be amazing. Boy was i mistaken. The ribeye tasted like it was not cooked with any seasoning and I ordered medium but felt well done. The steak was grayish and held no blood when cooked, which makes me believe the steak was old. The snapper was basic and you do not even get a whole half, just a 3x4 filet for $50. You only get one side with each entrée and they are not very good. The rice and beans was prob the best. The flan was the best part, but the presentation was horrible. Just go into San Juan to eat. Family of 4 will be about $200 for food not worth it. Just go to fogo del chao. After taxes and fees, will be over 50 per person.

I went to PR after years of not going on vacation, years of dealing with the constant daily struggle of getting overworked and underpaid by a toxic employer, so you could imagine the relief I felt when I first put my feet in the sand and looked up at the blue sky. All that came crashing down when I got the Mahi Mahi at Rústica. The Mahi Mahi at Rústica reminded me of everything I ran away from in NY. That hopeless anxiety you get when faced with countless options because you know deep down it’s fruitless to stress. You’ll never know if it was the right choice until it’s too late. And then the eventual pain that comes along with realizing that you did make the wrong decision, you ordered the Mahi Mahi at Rústica. When you first bite into those wet vegetables, you realize all that hope, all that desperation, it was for nothing. The cold demands of the capitalist machine don’t waste time on seasoning. You might’ve thought life was finally a fair playing field, that you escaped the deprecation that comes with assigning a dollar value to everything in your life, but that menu was always going to trick you into thinking that paying more for the Mahi Mahi would be better than just getting the Mofongo. The sauce that was advertised was never guaranteed to be anything more than the boiled water at Rústica. In the end, the most important lesson is that when all else fails, when you can’t even trust your own senses, you can trust the inmutables. That plátanos are better than vegetables, pork is better than fish, and most things, indeed even a classic fish fillet from the Golden Arches, are tastier than the Mahi Mahi at Rústica.
