The eatery is small but don't be fooled by the looks. They serve some of the best vegetarian pizza in bay area. Flavors very on point and fresh. Ordered the Mrs. C and veggie. Loved both of them.

Nothing to complain about. Pizza was delicious, piping hot and ready exactly on time. Fran was really nice and communicative, and price was right. Maybe if they were closer to Fremont cuz the slice in the car was better than the one after a 40min drive home, but can't change that. We look forward to coming back.

Fun atmosphere, but the pizza is no joke. Had the 4 cheese pizza with sausage. So good and the sauce was definitely notable in the pizza. Probably the best red sauce for a pizza I've had. Will be back. Drove from downtown Oakland to grab on the weekend after a recommendation

Hubby and I ordered an E Street Combo Pizza with Fresh Mozzarella, Salad and Canoli for our weekly take out lunch. We ordered online for specific pick up time. Website is user friendly. We got the 12 inch E Street Combo with kalamata olives and fresh mozzarella. I highly recommend both. The fresh mozzarella took that already yummy pizza up a level, beautifully. So good!! Their salad is fabulous, and I love the walnuts. The dressing looks and tastes freshly made. The canoli are lovely.

A hidden gem in East Bay. Just the way a pizzeria should be. Great and courteous staff and the pizza were amazing! We did a half and half margherita and Greek pizza which both hit the spot. I'd highly recommend the cheese and pepperoni pizza slices on the go or just to savor while they bake your pie. I'd definitely go back to try out the grand Ma pie! Shout out the staff who were constantly taking phone orders but also ensuring all the dine in customers were taken care of so well!

Last night was our first time here. We ordered the Classic Margherita and Greek. Both excellent. The place was clean and the customer service was superb. They were so attentive to everyone and funny and down to earth. This will be our new spot for sure.

Recently moved into the area, and my neighbors raved about Bluebird pizzeria, therefore had to try it. It definitely did not disappoint! Picked up a large sausage and mushroom pizza, that was made with love. It was a hit... so very tasty from the crust to the sauce to the fresh ingredients. This is my new pizza pie spot! Me so happy!!! 🍕❤️😋

Good, great, awesome pizza. Love the family-run vibe. Wish we'd had a neighborhood pizza place like this when we were growing up. Good luck getting a table, but if you come before 6, it's easier. Call in your order early and take the pickup time they give you, graciously. We order the NY Combo and the White, but we've never been unhappy with anything we've had. Best pizza in town.

Bluebird has some of the best pizza in Northern California. We have been coming here about three years. They provide a New York style pizza with a thin crust. They have flavorful toppings and a great sauce. This is the best NY style pizza I have had outside of New York. There is limited seating in the restaurant. You may want to get the pizza to go. We have had their pizza delivered through Door Dash.

Such good thin crust pizza! I haven’t tried it but they have a gluten free crust option too. I would drive out of my way for this pizza but luckily it’s not far from where I live. Street parking but I haven’t had problems finding a spot whenever I go. The staff is always accommodating and friendly.

We walked in not realizing that they were sold out, they only had a couples slices of cheese pizza left and since we had a little one with us, we ordered that along with 2 cannolis. Not only did they give us extra cannolis, they also gave us extra pizza since they had excess from a different order. Although dine in was technically over, they said we could eat and at no point did they try to rush us out or even started cleaning. The food: the cheese pizza was very good, the cannolis freshly piped. I’m coming back for sure!

Crispy crust, perfect sauce, old-school flavor. It sells out early (often gone by 5pm on weekends), so plan ahead! There’s a small selection of local bottled beers, which pairs perfectly. Fran, the owner, is the real MVP — a true Jersey girl (see the sticker wall — I posted a photo!) and a respected local legend who still hand-makes every single pie herself. Passion. Craft. It is the real deal and it is served with good old East Coast wise crackin. I love to go to Bluebird and watch a game, drink a hand crafted cold one on tap, and enjoy a slice. I love sharing a table with other folks as it always ends up in great conversation and fun times. I love the kids corner...books, puzzles, and games for the kids and family.

Fran knows all her customers and is very welcoming. We’ve become regulars and have met or gotten to know more of our neighbors through our visits to the Bluebird.

When I moved to CA from NJ I was told about this spot from a from a previous employee. The owners were from a town not far from freehold and they hands down had the best pizza and I tried a lot of places over the 2 years I lived there 🙌🫶

The pizza isn’t just amazing and memorable so is the vibe. There’s a reason the sell out so quickly and why people rush as soon as they’re open!

We are new to the area and so far have had pizza from Bluebirds twice. First time my husband went and picked it up, the second we ate in. This is some of the best pizza we have ever had and my husband is from Philly. I’ve had pizza in NYC and this was better. Few tables inside but worth eating in, they have an unusual selection of beers and non alcoholic drinks. If you have never had Bluebirds, you have to eat there.

The pizza is bomb! I ordered the BBQ Chicken and a veggie. Both were delicious! The person who took my order was patient as I wasn’t looking at the menu. The guy at the over carefully made sure my pizza was perfect. The owner yelled and threw a tantrum on my first visit. It wasn’t fun to watch, but maybe her personality is part of the charm.

We had a custom pizza, three toppings. Crust was thin, not to crispy but not soggy. Overall well done. The sauce was also good. The staff was very good, friendly and helpful. We will be back for more a and will recommend to others.

I tried Bluebird a few years ago and was underwhelmed. I decided to give it another shot because of all the positive reviews and thought it was absolutely delicious. Maybe they were just having an off night or maybe I ordered the wrong thing. But tonight's pizza is great. The crust is very nice and the tomato sauce is quite flavorful. Overall it tastes like they use really good ingredients. Will order again.

One of my favorite local pizza places! You can tell that this place is run by a family that really takes pride in putting out a great pie. The crust is really nice and has the perfect bite. The toppings are all top notch/high quality. Only downside is that the place is small and sometimes you may have to wait awhile for your pizza. But I promise it’s worth the wait! 9 out of 10 times if we’re hungry and in/around San Leandro it’s Bluebirds!

A modest mom and pop pizza place with legit pizza. Their claim to have authentic New York City style thin crust pizza is true. The owner is from New Jersey, close enough 😁 They have fast and friendly service, TVs to watch sports, kid friendly activities, lots of drink options. Somewhat on the small side, but easy to park around there.

Not bad. Good for locals or if you are close by. Looks like they have good variety of beer. Pizza was not bad but nothing awesome either. A bit stingy on the toppings and they ran out of Parmesan cheese packets 🤔. Website not the easiest to navigate but calling was fine and easy pick up.

Honestly a very average place, food was okay. Would not go out of my way to come here tbh.

I had the worse experience here, I wanted to order 2 pizzas when I was told by the cashier that they only had one dough left for 1 pizza which was okay. Other than them taking a long time to serve us, another customer walked in and ordered a pizza and they were told the same thing. Which was wrong because we were the only Latinos there it was my son birthday. We told the cashier that it wasn’t fair we were a party of 5 and were only able to purchase one pizza. I am tired of walking into restaurants and being treated different because I’m Latino. After that customers that seem to be regulars kept coming in and being served pizza when there was no more dough, that doesn’t make sense.
