OMG, this place! Love the bright open, casual vibe with exposed professional bakery kitchen. It’s like walking into a friend’s studio home kitchen who happens to be an awesome professional baker. Got an Americano with their Cozy Bear special (honey, vanilla and cinnamon) and it was the PERFECT fall drink. I have tried all the 4+ star coffee shops in SLO and this one rises to the TOP for americano quality and flavor. Display case had a bountiful display of freshly baked goods. Normally I have to avoid ordering anything due to my pe air and tree nut allergies. But I found out the baker does not use any nuts due to customer allergies (like me) so I was able to enjoy so many (too many) of the beautifully baked treats so I let loose and ordered everything my eyes have been craving, deprived after years of avoidance. The pumpkin maple white chocolate scone is a fall MUST. Drizzled with light maple icing, dripping over a perfectly spiced pumpkiny scone interior that had a tender crumb that melted in my tongue. Classic croissant was light and flaky on the outside and soft, airy and buttery on the inside, mmmmm. I will be saving the chocolate chip cookie and cheesecake muffin for an afternoon treat. Both, I was told by locals are a MUST TRY. As is the cinnamon swirl french toast. That will be my next visit! They do have a savory menu for more traditional breakfast and lunch entrees, yet another reason to return :) This is so rare, to find a local high-quality bakery that does not bake any items with nuts! To all my peanut and tree nut allergy people, break free, breathe easy and come and enjoy The Bridge Cafe!

Such a gem in the dt area, was greeted with a warm welcome. Drinks were made quickly and breakfast burrito was simple yet so yummy !! Friendly staff :) They were so kind and brought out our burrito split already!

Food took about 15 minutes after order. Plenty of parking in the front and enough space to seat. We ordered breakfast burrito, burger and coffees it’s was amazing. Before you exit the door you can write the note where you are coming from. Love the atmosphere, We will gladly return if we find ourselves in the city again.

I love places like this, where you walk in and are promptly greeted. Ordered a black coffee and the chilaquiles, they were delicious in a red mole sauce, and the salsa verde that came with it was really good too. If I lived here I would definitely go back.

Came in for my birthday 🎂 Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program!! ✨ The food is cooked to order. Fresh, hot & quick. The tastes are explosive, not overbearing, not overlapping but complimentary. The service is outstanding. Attentive, clean, helpful & caring. Personalities are welcoming, friendly & playful. The atmosphere is so inviting. Open space. Lots of windows. Sister Theresa invited us & I'm so glad we finally came. We live in Paso but this spot is definitely on our locals list now!!!!! 🏆 Hubby & I split the western burger & an order of fries. It was plentiful!!! Filling & certainly picture worthy! Thank you chef Jason & thank your team!!!! See you soon. Love you all. 💚

This is a nice little gem! We were looking for a place to have breakfast and stopped in. People are very nice and the breakfast was excellent! Even had tacos for breakfast. The El Pastore taco was the best taco we’ve ever had. And the spinach and feta croissant was beyond words!

A different breakfast burrito with, I believe; fresh parsley, rosemary and thyme. If these flavors prove too much for you, you can drown it in the house green salsa..

We loved it! You walk away feeling like you ate at home- meaning it’s not a gut bomb. Lots of fresh vegetables and hot eggs.. even the drinking water was delicious. Homemade salsa was so tasty! The staff were very warm and welcoming. Will be back on our next visit to SLO for sure!

I got a slice of chocolate cake during my mid morning walk. I made it back home and immediately ate half. It was delicious. Being someone who was taught how to bake at an early age, I appreciate quality baked goods. However, the cake wasn't the only awesome part. This was my first time being at bridge Cafe. Found out they welcome well behaved pups so my Bowie got to go inside with me and we were greeted by Jason. He was extremely welcoming and I hope Bridge cafe continues to thrive. I'll be back especially if there is chocolate ganache cake again! Yum!

Out of towners looking for a good breakfast stop stumbled on the 5.0 reviews for The Bridge. They did. It disappoint! Delicious breakfast served HOT along with fantastic coffee and a heartfelt “thanks for coming in” from our server. Would recommend bagel and egg , and the avocado toast. Both were excellent .

Walked a few blocks from our Airbnb and well worth it! Hands down the best and biggest croissant I've ever had. Light, crispy, moist, buttery... So yummy! My wife had the avocado toast. Fresh, tasty perfection! Service was friendly and fast. We sat outside and sipped our coffee. What a fabulous way to start the day!

Lovely spot with fresh pastries, coffee drinks and a concise breakfast/brunch menu. Limited inside seating with an industrial kitchen vibe, covered outside seating available until 2. Four star rating on atmosphere because it’s not somewhere I’d stay for a leisurely meal, although to be fair we came after 2 when the patio was closed. Perfect spot to have a quick, tasty bite or get takeout. Love their mission to help those impacted by crime and love the straightforward menu, which makes choosing what to eat easy :) Cakes are available for order - how cool is that??

Veteran operated. Great stop for breakfast if you're in the area. The guy running things is a really good dude, and deserves the business from people. He also gives people opportunities to work. This breakfast made up for the poor meal we had in Pismo Beach yesterday.

Not only does the Bridge Café make an excellent burger and fries, but Restorative Partners is helping to make a literal “bridge“ for people to have meaningful work after hardship. I can’t imagine a better way to help the community while eating a tasty lunch!

Just by chance we found The Bridge Cafe while traveling through SLO. What an incredible find. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The coffee, I ordered a large Latte, was perfect. That's not always the case when you stop for coffee in a town you're unfamiliar with. I also ordered a breakfast burrito of egg, cheese, avo, and potatoes. Trust me, you do not need to order a side dish. Very filling and more importantly, delicious. My partner, ordered a veggie quiche. It was buttery and almost melted in her mouth. Yummmmy Will we maintain this as our go to place in SLO? You can count on it. Thank you Jason for chatting with us, maintaining a customer centric team, and exceeding our breakfast expectations.

Stopped in for Valentine's day lunch with my wife. She had the meat quiche and I had the Bridge Burger and fries. The fries have a nice light thyme and rosemary seasoning. It pairs perfectly with the bridge sauce on the burger. The burger was well balanced with the right size burger, onions, lettuce, tomato, and a soft brioche bun. Excellent flavors all around. My wife loved the little slice of quiche with the salad. Service was very friendly and the staff was helpful. They had a good selection of baked goods. I'll have to make a special trip back to try something sweet next time.

Tuna melt was extremely disappointing - tiny, drenched in mayo and served way too hot on a simple white roll not a ciabatta. Not worth $17.

I honestly don't know what the hype is about. The service was mediocre, patio was uncomfortable, and the food was just okay. We came because of how highly rated it is, but in reality it feels like the reviews must be fake. Will try again in the future in case this was simply an "off" day but...the food doesnt even look like what's pictured online

Worst burrito I have ever had in my life. My partner said the same. Seemed like the lid fell off the pepper when they were cooking and they just didn't care. It was almost entirely potato, except for a bit of egg at one end. The croissants were NOT croissants. They were thrice folded BREAD. One slice of ham, with an almost invisible very thin layer of cheese and a large pocket of AIR. Worst almond croissant I've ever had in my life as well. Once again, thrice folded bread. I would recommend this to someone who enjoys eating spoonfuls of sugar. What a waste of $32. Luckily for them my partner was very hungry and the bakery across the street was behind schedule otherwise I would have demanded a full refund. Lovely dress on a pig. Would make a great location for a coffee shop! Obviously they have their friends posting these positive reviews. This is NOWHERR NEAR a 4.8 when it comes to the food. 1/5.
