I don't know if the Ministry of Defense is open to the public, but there was a vintage car show, and I took the opportunity to see at least part of the facilities. It was just as I expected: clean, tidy, and organized. It's well worth a visit and highly recommended.

The headquarters of the 12th Military Zone is located in San Luis Potosí, the state capital, surrounded by the military battalion and the regional military hospital. The Mexican Red Cross is located across the street. It can be reached by taxi, Didi, Uber, or public transportation. The Didi ride from the bus station to the military zone takes 10-13 minutes and costs around 50-70 pesos. It is located very close to the historic center.

Están haciendo estafas desde esta ubicación según adentro de este cuartel, desconozco si sea verdad pero me mandaron identificaciónque según era la persona del trato,. Estaba adentro y quería que mandara las cosas por un Uber, después me empezaron amenazar y me mandaron videos de gente armada Tengan cuidado si les dicen que están adentro y que manden las cosas en un Uber que está afuera, que en cuanto lo hagan los pasarán adentro a pagarles, no lo hagan es estafa

Very poor service. My son went to pick up his military service card and they couldn't find it. He went back the next day and they didn't tell him to pick it up in January. They gave it to him, but it wasn't released and he had to register for it another year. They made him wait for 3 hours. The soldiers are very vulgar and outrageous. They should invest our taxes in better soldiers who would provide quality service to the citizens. This shouldn't happen and continues to happen. It's wrong!
