Stopped at this little restaurant on our way back to Houston and was delighted with their “perfect” over medium huevos rancheros and crispy bacon. The chips and salsa were also so delicious- the chips were so crispy and tasty. Our waitress Vivi was amazing and added extra charm to this little place. Highly recommend it :)

Great breakfast location. My goto's are the Migas plate, chorizo/papas, ham/egg and cheese tacos. Parking can be a bit challenging, but otherwise a good place to try if you in the area.

The service and speed is always efficient. The food is always fresh and hot! We have lunch here at least once a week! The best part is the prices are affordable.

This place is so good. My best friend and I try to eat at new places every time we go out and this place is the best so far! Our waitress was great, good portions, great prices. And clean! Which is huge for me.

Good authentic food! Straight up the barbacoa was on point, not too greasy. Homemade tortillas, great staff that kept the coffee and water topped off. Can’t say enough about this little local hole in the wall! And they had a safe set up for COVID-19!

The food and service were good. And it was really nice of them to say it was ok to come in and eat when they were closing in thirty minutes. We were not rushed, nor did they start doing their end of the day cleaning while we were there.

This place is out here rolling pinner tacos. Looks like pencils. 🤦🏽‍♂️ ✏️ tacos. I spent 10 bucks on three tacos that barely took two bites to eat each one. Like they cooked up enough for one taco and split it between three tortillas. I have rolled joints bigger than this.

I never complain when food is mediocre. I saw a full parking lot with no spaces available and thought this must be the best food in San Marcos. I was very wrong. The food at Chepo's was the worst Mexican food. I have been to Taqueries, chains, fast food for Mexican food. The chips were crisp, but the salsa was liquid extremely spicy, and did not taste good. No chunks of tomatoes, overly spicy. The waitress was so sweet. But I think my lower jaw hit the table when the less than one cup of dried 1 inch and less of beef and chicken that would make 2 sandwiches. Tortillas were good. Rice and refried beans were tasteless, but I added black pepper and ate those. I complained about the fajitas and replaced it with enchiladas, Eric's. The beef was overly salty. I ate those and not the rice and beans. Went to check out and instead of replacing fajitas, I was given half price since I ate some. Maybe it was the cook, or what I ordered, but I do not recommend at all.

My experience turned into something horrible and disgusting. My wife found a nail in her food. And the only thing the waitress did was throw the nail in the trash and didn't even apologize. They didn't even apologize when I asked for the bill. The attention from the manager was super terrible and disgusting. They don't even look at you, very arrogant.

Pictures speak for themselves. That fly looking crispy like it cooked with the whole batch of barbacua. Called too speak too manager and they weren't there. Idk what kind of place runs without someone in charge on site.
