If you happen to visit this bar in the morning, it's truly relaxing. The bar isn't very crowded, and the staff is extremely attentive to your requests. They don't mind heating up a toastie at 9 a.m., and they'll leave you undisturbed at your table for as long as you like. Thanks from here for the warm break, much appreciated while riding my scooter on a decidedly cold day! I'll be back.

From the outside, Caffè del Porto isn't a love at first sight: a simple facade, a nondescript atmosphere, saved from the glare by a large, visible sign that at least says "Here I am!" Inside, the music remains the same, the decor is unpretentious, functional but lacking any real character. And then... the surprise, once past the counter, opens up to a spacious outdoor terrace that makes you want to sit and sip something al fresco. It's a bit like discovering a small secret courtyard in a seemingly ordinary house. We ordered two cappuccinos and two brioches. The cappuccinos were impeccable, with a creamy froth, perfect temperature, and a balanced flavor. The brioches... less memorable, frozen and reheated, just for "breakfast," but without leaving a lasting impression. The service is friendly, with a welcoming smile that's pleasing, but doesn't add that extra touch that makes you think, "I'll definitely be back here." In short: a bar that does its job, without exciting or disappointing too much, like a movie seen on a plane, it entertains you for an hour and then... poof, forgotten upon landing.

Unfortunately, there's no table service, and the cream in the brioches isn't always fresh; I've thrown away more than half of it because it's sour cream. The outdoor setting is nice.

With the change of management and the renovation of the venue, I think the business has improved significantly. The younger staff has made this meeting place more inviting. The outdoor seating is always appreciated!

Poor service, the coffee isn't the best, and I ordered a ham sandwich; when it arrived, they even got the flavor wrong. There's no table service. The bathroom didn't have toilet paper and wasn't in the best condition. The staff isn't always friendly.
