The Olive Tree Restaurant is a nice place with good food and a variety of different courses to choose from. Service is always good and friendly. 😊 A place I will highly recommend.

We Always stop of at the OLIVE TREE to have breakfast with friends when we are in SAN MIGUEL, on market day, which is on (WEDNESDAY'S ). We always try to get a table outside on the pavement but plenty of tables inside also. The lady's that run this place have a warm welcome to everyone who comes in. The restaurant manu is very well priced. We have the fall ENGLISH BREAKFAST 🍳 AND COFFEE, which is spot on. We have never used the restaurant in the evening so we can not stay what it is like. BUT FOR BREAKFAST AND A LIKE GO FOR IT EVER TIME : Frendly Staff and a Warm welcome 😁🌟

Fabulous place to have a breakfast, coffee, chiled beers, cider, wines, Lunches, evening meals, (steak night on Wednesdays,) Superb, affordable Sunday Lunches. June is a fantastic "mine host," ably supported by Wendie Bingham, the chefs, and waiting staff.

this was the best sunday lunch i've had since i moved here, everything was well cooked and tasty, proper roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings and a dessert list as long as your arm!.. Highly recommended👍

We go to The Olive Tree regularly for Sunday lunch. We can always depend on the food being excellent and the staff being friendly. It is €12 fora 3 course meal Inc. half a bottle of wine each. Fantastic value.

Stopped by yesterday for some lunch here at The Olive Tree, I ordered the ploughman's and my husband ordered home made Leak pie.. we both throughly enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be stopping by again. 👍🤗

We have had many lovely meal in the Olive Tree Restaurant. We have had our Christmas Lunches there for 2 years in a row we booked our Christmas Lunch 2017 last year. Looking forward to seeing June and the staff again December.

We came across The Olive Tree the day before Christmas and asked about lunch Christmas day, the two ladies went out of their way to accommodate six extra people. Their attention to detail, friendliness was a breath of fresh air. The food was delicious, gathering for two vegetarians as well. We'll done to the chefs, the two ladies and all who work there, you did a marvelous job.

We had a great meal here. One of the only places in San Miguel to serve fresh vegetables. Steak & Ale pie was divine. Just like you would get back home (UK). Great value for money and friendly attentive staff. Well worth a visit. We will be back at some point.

We've been here several times now and it never fails to please us. The lunch time specials are fantastic value for money and very generous portions. We tried the "Sunday lunch" last week and really enjoyed it. The quality of the food was excellent and couldn't be faulted. The staff are always friendly and June welcomes you back and remembers her customers. The Olive Tree is always warm and cosy with lovely hot water in the immaculately clean toilets. Definately one of our favourite places to eat in San Miguel de Salinas.

As always a very nice place to have lunch or just coffee / tea and cake. The homemade cakes are good and the service always the best.

The new cook needs to read what the waiters write on the order. Better fans would be nice because the 2 on the ceiling are not sufficient

Went with friends for Sunday lunch. It was okay but the roast potatoes were.. strange.

Had a wonderful Easter mente and was blown away with their all home made deserts and cakes! Dinner was awesome with loads of veggies. Could do with a little more meat and gravy(Norwegians preferences as we love gravy😅👌) but an all over 5/6 for food and service. Little noisy in the inner part. But more quiet outside or front part of restaurant. We will be sure to come back another time. Great offer for 13€ pr. Person🥰🥰

If you want a decent club sandwich, fish and chips or an English Sunday Lunch with a friendly smile this is your place. Plenty going on during the week. A English watering hole in a spanish town (a spanish town with a great market!)

We drove from el Galan to visit the olive tree for lunch. We checked out the menu that was outside in a cabinet and decided each on a panini. The waitress then brought out another lunch menu and said that they do not use the one in the cabinet, but concentrate on the more expensive menu owing to a shortage of space in the kitchen. (Make me wonder how they managed it before then) as all the meals were larger than what we wanted, we decided to leave however three stars reflects the excellent service and lovely coffee. Location is excellent with a lovely breeze.

Good value, 3-course meal. Well prepared vegetables, but could provide more meat. I paid £2 extra for lamb but it was transparently thinly sliced. Excellent desserts.

Went for Sunday Dinner, very disappointing I'm afraid. Meat obviously bought in prepacked,sliced. Vegetables lacked taste as if they'd been frozen. Desert quiet obviously been bought frozen.€15 for 3 course (lamb) could have been better. Trying to support small local businesses but they need to do a little better than this to keep custom.

I don’t know what happened to this restaurant as the food was lovely at one time. I can only assume it’s been taken over by someone else. Unfortunately it is now bland was my original review. I thought I’d give it a second chance today as everyone has an off day. The cook wants shot...I could do better myself, absolutely terrible. The menu is so basic you’d think it would be impossible to make a mess of it, they proved that wrong I wouldn’t return if they were giving food away
