Omg first time I've ever been here. I've always seen it but it's usually a line in the drive thru. So I walked in and got my order. They made my teriyaki chicken breast exactly how I wanted it That's hard to find anywhere; where they make it just like I want it. It was super tasty. Definitely going to come again. Wish I would have tried it sooner. All the employees were hustling working their butt's off. Keep up the good work. For sure you are the number place for me to go when I don't want to cook!!

The best teriyaki Hawaiian chicken. Fresh broccoli, cabbage. Carrots, soybeans. Great salads. Good faves: teriyaki beef, crab rangoons. New hot item: lava shrimp! Drive thru fast, or sit in with your group. Delicious Hawaiian foods.

Since this restaurant re-opened, the food has gotten significantly better. It is flat out, 100% delicious. Good quality too, not your standard “fast food”. Throw it on a glass plate and it would instantly go from “drive thru fast food” to “authentic Hawaiian cuisine”. I only ever go through the drive thru so I don’t know anything about the interior, but I just love the food. My favorite drive thru in Pedro, hands down.

Why do Hawaiian BBQ places always give such gigantic portions?! That’s exactly why I came here and it did not disappoint. I left completely full and totally satisfied. You really can’t go wrong with any of their options. Their spam musubi isn’t anything wildly unique, but it’s still super tasty and hits the spot like always. This place is just one of those solid go-to spots when you're hungry and craving something comforting.

For the first time trying the food. Portion are absolutely massive and more then filling ! Sauces and meat are very tasty, rice was soso. best taste which feels almost to strong and hard to believe it’s real are the coconuts ! feels like best and most intense coconut taste i ever had.

Time of day makes a big difference. Going at 10:30-11am seems like the sweet spot where I can visit the drive thru, order and receive everything I want without issue. After 5pm on several occasions they were out of the chicken I wanted to order. It's not a big deal, but it is mildly annoying. I really like that this location has a drive thru & they've always been plenty polite, it's just unfortunate that stopping here after work to pick up a larger family meal doesn't always work out.

Im critiquing this visit only. I have visited this place numerous times Food is great, atmosphere, its Pedro. Service was Excellent. I ordered 2 of the same plates. However, I started to eat, that first bite of macaroni was awful!! My MAC had a funny taste & taste the different from the other plate. It was after the world series win, closing shortly within hour &it was busy. I called right after my first bite (1058p exactly). I how do you get the number off of the web bcuz he never gave me. Needless to say no one answered my call that night. I thought maybe im tripping & it's in my head, I'll give it to my dog who eats everything and anything. BUT, NO NOT this time and she walk away. Just wondering if anybody else had the same experience that night?

Great food. Slow service. Not ideal if you only have a 30 minute lunch breaks. I sat in drive through for almost 20 minutes between ordering my food and making it to the window.

Wrong order, very cold interior. Threw away half of the order and went elsewhere. One staff asked me if I needed something. I asked for correct food. She walked away saying nothing. Never will I go back to this chain

Terrible customer service if not one of the worst I had. And the food well ... I ask for crunchy shredded chicken 🐔 tacos 🌮 and instead I got kind of burn chunk chicken wannabe tacos. I noticed until I got home unfortunately. Otherwise I would've say something in the same minute I got them

First and foremost, I love El Pollo Loco. Me this experience has not changed that fact, nor am I going to stop using this location. I’ll probably be using it a little less than usual after tonight, only because it’s the closest location to me. To me, it’s the little things that matter. And I usually always let a few mistakes go by without a seconds thought, but when there’s multiple made, and not even an attempt to at least say, “I’m so sorry about that.” Or “Here, let’s see what we can do.” Etc., it needs to be noted, especially in the fast food industry. Because if there’s no customer service, or a genuine attempt to go out of your way for the customer, that means every area of that store has the same attitude towards it as well. So to keep it simple, the problems I had were these. I placed an order at 6:45 PM to be ready at 8:00 PM for pick up. I arrived at 8 PM and was told it was almost ready. Not a problem, I wasn’t in a rush. But then was asked 10 minutes later, “what order were you waiting for?” Kinda frustrated me, considering I was the only customer in the store at the time. But whatever, I received my order a few minutes later and went home only to find out that I only received 1 order of my churros instead of what I ordered, which was 2. Frustrated, but not mad I called the store and let them know, and their only comment was for me to come back and pick them up. I told them they were a 20 minute ride from me since I’m on a scooter and couldn’t return tonight. So she advised me to bring the receipt back some other time and they would give me the rest of my order. But I don’t keep receipts from fast food, and I toss them immediately and told her I don’t have the receipt anymore..... that’s when I just gave up told her forget it, thanks anyways. There wasn’t anyone I spoke to there that seemed to care in the slightest to at least say they were sorry for the wait, or sorry for messing your order up. A genuine apology would’ve kept this review from being written. I don’t expect perfection, I’m far from it, but after the nonchalant attitude I got when I called regarding my missing item, it needed to be written.

Really hate that I have to write this review but I went to ONO today to get the Chicken and Beef combo and they ruined my order twice. The “corrected” meal i got didn’t even have beef. The lady at the register was nice and tried to get my order right for me. But I guess the cook in the back wasn’t listening or being attentive enough. By the time I’d waited 25 mins for my order I was over it and didn’t even wanna send it back again. Not saying I won’t comeback but yall gotta do better cause I didn’t get what I paid for this trip.

Simple directions not followed. Asked for no sour cream and got sour cream. Then in the chicken bowl the picture below is the avocado they put in it. Disgusting. How can you put that in a bowl and be okay giving that to customers? Will never come here again and no wonder why they had absolutely no cars in the drive through.

Everything about this restaurant was bad starting off with the menu in the drive-through. The light was off and I couldn’t see anything then when I get to the window, the lady there had the worst attitude ever. I was missing some menu items and then she’s rushing me to get out the drive-through. She asked me if I was waiting for anything else and I told her I was putting on my seatbelt so that I can leave. and not to mention, I ordered a double chicken, avocado salad and the chicken was old and dry and tasteless. I’m never coming to this restaurant again horrible service.

Ok another review update the rice in this Pollo Loco is the worst it's all Burnt watch out for your teeth! Food is good but the real problem is their highly water down Avocado sauce it is very disappointing is like a version of 75% water 25% of maybe Avocado?

I wanted to order, and waited for five minutes. I called them over the phone requesting customer service and they never picked up. I was ignored. Then the cook told me to order online. Because the register was broken. So I just walked out. Then I went to Ono Hawaiian BBQ. Very delicious spare ribs and customer service is awesome.

My order number was 1477 I ordered 3 pieces.(1)breast and 2(thighs) they cut one of the thighs in half so this created three pieces NO WAY. I spoke with a Sal store manager said I would need to bring back the meal to show him what I received. This order was from drive-in for total of $16. 95 Pus guacamole sauce. I know what a thigh looks like.

Everytime I go here for lunch at 10pm the front doors are locked, even though the posted hours say closed at 11pm, I can't sit down to eat, so I just keep driving, you're losing money by closing doors early. I went to taco bell and while in drive thru saw 3 people walk up to door only to find it locked, dude knocked on window without response. This place needs new management. I've seen other pollo locos which had poor service quickly change when changing managers. This one needs it. Couple weeks ago I went thru drive thru before work about 4pm and ordered the new 3 peice chicken with mango sauce. Order was fast and when I parked at work to eat the chicken was super dry barely any edible chicken left there was no time for me to go back I had to eat what I could.. Take a look at the photos. Worst experience going to this location. Sad.

We have been to this dump a few times. We gave them a chance when they first opened. The food was garbage. The next time, the food improved-not good but better. My wife drove through tonight. Again, the food was complete garbage, burnt and small portions. The chicken breast was half size and so were the tortillas. I'm not sure how corporate allows them to get away with this trash. I will be calling.

They always close early and have the worst customer service in history and by it hit 8 o'clock they start running out of food on the menu they either have to get new staff or just close this location down for such poor customers service El polo loco owner you need to get your staff in order and start fixing all these issues obviously this been going on way too long at this point el polo locals should think about taking away their name from here

Don't go to this location go to any other one but this one. The girls working drive thru are always in a mood their customer service is a 0/10 and the Pico de gallo always taste funny it taste like sparkling water pretty sure it's old. Just dont go to this location, I love Poll Loco but this location SUCKS dont waste your money here. Today is the last time I come to this location rather drive a bit further to get better service and better food.

I came to this location today with my son I will say that the communication with the workers was 100% the communication or the intercom was good no problems there however I ordered a tostada salad and my son got a two-piece the meat was old it tastes like the chicken had been made early this morning my son's thigh was hard Chris as if it had been heated up from a earlier meal the chicken from my double tostada chicken tostada salad was old so old it didn't even taste like chicken I was really disappointed I paid $40 for a meal and we did not enjoy it at all old chicken nothing fresh we also ordered a chicken quesadilla with green sauce disgusting it had a copy amount of cheese in it an old like the same chicken was used in the tostada salad and the same old chicken in the two piece I would give it a zero but I had to write it in order to make a review I would say that they need to bring fresh chicken El Pollo loco is known for its fresh grilled chicken and I was so disappointed in this very nasty no good

Here are some points of my experience that should be helpful. The beef Teri, was more like Leather teriyaki, in fact it was so hard I gave myself a headache trying to chew it. The chicken was just as tough and unappetizing. I paid $16, for Leather beef with nerves and chicken that was so hard that it didn't seem like it was a bird. The two broken up pieces of cabbage were pretty soggy and the rice was not the good kind and lastly the Mac salad, was okay but it was about 2 tablespoons and that was it! If your craving good Hawaiian food try anyplace else but here. . If you look at my profile I don't leave bad reviews so this is my first I believe and what a disappointment . I know for a fact I would never return to this place EVER AGAIN. Its a good thing I prayed for my food before I ate some of it. Bon appetite everyone
