Friendly, friendly, friendly. These are people that really care about you as a customer, what you eat, the quality of the food being served to you, the value, and the customer experience. From the moment you interact with anyone working there you feel like family. I’ve been coming here since the 1980s I think. It’s always been delicious and always been friendly. I’m glad they’re still in business and doing their thing. I can’t compare them to any other taco shop. They have their own style, their own recipes, and their own way of doing things. It’s really unique to this shop. So I’m not going to do comparisons, but if you’re stuck in Marin and you need some food food, friendly faces, a quiet place to sit and enjoy it, maybe with a beer and some chips and salsa, this is a great option. You won’t be disappointed.

I love this place, Sonoma Taco Shop, because the food is always fresh and delicious. The tacos have a perfect blend of flavors that keep me coming back. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service every time. Coming here during my childhood brings back so many fond memories. I remember enjoying the food with my family and having a great time every visit.

I was going to go next door to get a bagel and go but I thought maybe get protein in instead with a couple of tacos. Sure glad I found this place. The food is authentic and fresh! The service was above and beyond...the cook delivered my food and offered to bring me more chips and salsa. Great customer service. The music isn't so load that you can't think. I'm a travel nurse so I "sample " a lot of restaurants. Haven't good service like this in a long time. For those asking if they should come here...YES! And I'll be back BTW...if you eat in they actually serve you in real plates and wrap the silverware?! Prices a way too reasonable

I recommend the pollo asada burrito!! I've been disappointed in most Mexican restaurants here in the North bay. It's true, good tacos are hard to find and tasty burritos. During this quarantine I've been cooking a lot so I decided I needed a break from the kitchen. Hooray, this was a treat! My bf and I are so happy to have a clean local spot with friendly service. This is a great place to get a truly healthy and delicious meal. I always have the McDougall Tostada.

I had the veggie burrito it was good and my wife had a chicken burrito also good. I asked for hot salsa and was warned about the heat two times, it was less spicy than the Cholula hot sauce i have at home. The help were friendly and accommodating we'd definitely go back.

I got sizzling fajitas. They were mid ngl. The people here are great though.

The place makes great super burritos, but it has no salsa nor chips bar. No salsa plastic containers, nothing. They used to offer back in the end but not now unfortunately. I would have given this place 5 stars if they kept the salsa bar. For burrito, I give 5 stars though.

The staff was nice, but I’ve made a mistake on ordering something cheap, the carne asada burrito. Whilst the burrito was decently sized for its price, that didn’t make up for its bland taste. I had better burritos at Taco Bell. Overall, I’ll give my experience at this restaurant 3 stars.

Pretty basic tacos, too many beans and filler and not so much chicken or carnitas in our chicken and carnitas burritos. All filler not so much killer.

Decide to give this place a third chance, so I went there and ordered a GAINT burrito. And this is what I got. When I told the lady at the register, this looked like a regular burrito. She claimed it's because I didn't want beens. Not only that, the flavor sucked. Strike 3! I'm never eating here again.

Me and my gf got 2 burritos #21 carnitas, everything tasted really blend and flavor less it's like they didn't use any seasoning at all. Their hottest salsa had no spice at all only good flavor I experienced was my pacifico with line. They are really friendly and good atmosphere though.

I was very disappointed. I ordered fish tacos and there was so much rice, beans and cheese and only one tiny piece of fish. Also, the chicken in my flautas was burnt so I couldn’t eat it.

Chew carefully, & eat at your own risk- Had been meaning to try this place for a while now, really wish I hadn't. Got a carnitas super burrito to-go, got it home and within a few bites felt something really hard stop my bite. First thought was it must be a stray bone chip like sometimes happens with meat products... But it felt way too hard even for bone, so I dug out the culprit only to find a small steel ball! See the pic, no joke. This was a first for me at any food joint, & will be the last for me at this place. To be thorough w my review, up until that point the burrito was meh... I've had worse but not by much. Bland flavor left much to be desired for the price. I'll drive a few exits further next time for a decent meal. Chew carefully, & eat at your own risk
