JJ's Sushi and Pho

One Word! AbsolutelyFnAmazing! The broth is so good I really don't think I've had pho this good in San Diego or LA! If you live anywhere close to the border there's absolutely no need to drive farther to Miramar, Miramesa or LA! They actually should make the drive down south! Totally worth it! Thanks 🍻

Went for lunch with family on a whim. Family was happy with the choice. We went specifically for sushi, and I picked 4 rolls with appetizers. Family thought fish was fresh, food was delicious. Drank the passion fruit with food, refreshing. We agreed we need to return to try more dishes. Looks like regulars take to go. We were only ones for awhile catching up. Gradually mix of groups came in by the time we headed out.

I've only tried the sushi rolls and they're delicious, a good size and the flavor is incredible, the fish they use is very fresh. The service is good, they are friendly, and the prices are quite affordable.

Many thanks to the owner and his sweet wife the chef! I was going to return couple days later for their delicious dragon roll but got caught up. So here's my way to return my gratitude with words. You're both very gracious thanks for taking the time to help me decide which roll would best suit me. Best recommendation! A+++ service love this place will revisit next time in town!

Honestly so good! Prices are little higher than other places, but considering its location in San Ysidro, it's pretty good. There aren't other Asian Fusion or sushi in this general area unless you cross the border or drive to Chula Vista. This is a family owned business store. I went on a Tuesday after work. There was 2 to go orders and one party in front of me. There was a wait mostly because there was only one person doing sushi. I ordered the Olive Roll, Won Ton soup (2 orders and not pictured, I ate it so fast), Spicy Garlic Edamame, and crab cheese rangoon. Everything was so good. The won ton is probably the best soup I've had down on this side and pretty close to being better than most other Chinese food places up north. Definitely will return to try the pho and other dishes. They also accept card!

The shop cooks nice and fresh rare beef pho, the service is quick and very attentive. And the price is great. Their vegetables are fresh.

My family and i visit this place often, it is clean, great customer service and food is a 10/10 highly reccomend this place. Pho 🍲 sushi 🍣 and teriyaki 🍱are my personal favorites but everything is good.

I love their dishes, I have tasted plenty of food from the menu and it is delicious! The service is excelente, super friendly and the restaurant is clean and neat. It is family friendly and their beverages are delicious as well.

To go Tried for 1st time. Food was delicious teriyaki combo #1 & #2. Sushi was fresh. Can't wait to try pho next time 😋. My kids loved it too!

Crossing the boarder after visiting the dentist, me and my family were craving something easy to eat and we decided on pho. This was a quick 5min drive from the boarder and we were very pleased. I live in the San Gabriel Valley and this place can compete with the soup locations we have there hands down and the sushi was really good too. The meat in my pho was thicker and taster then the meat used in the SGV and the pho noodles were bigger also. Wide selection of Asian Dishes, my brother ordered the chicken teriyaki which came in a big plate with very moist and tender chicken. The only thing bad I can say is that the food was too good to stop eating so I can take a photo haha , will definitely be back the next time I come back from TJ…

This is such a great place, been going the last 8 years. The prices are always great but the quality is even better. Definitely recommend for sushi and their other items.

Pho can't be beat, broth is amazing. Wor Won Ton is great as well. Sushi rolls are works of art and delicious. Chef will customize pho, dishes and sushi for you, just ask. Parking can be tight but it's so worth it.

The food is freshly made to order. We ordered the popocatepel, it was very good, I had the vegetable pho which was ok. Thecowners are friendly and attentive.
