I've been eating at Cooking Papa's since a friend introduced me to their restaurant in 2012. Their food is always fast, fresh, hot and amazing. Their sausage dumplings are one of my favorites but it's all good from their green beens, dim sum, noodles, seafood, I mean where do you start, it's all so tasty. It's a little noisy and sometimes it gets busy but it's worth the wait. Highly recommend.

Great food. We've been eating here since it was Cooking Papa. I had a cold so the sweet and sour soup made me feel better. My family loved the combo chow mein, tofu n veggies, n sweet and sour pork. Used doordash and Andrew delivered quickly! Nov 24 update. If u order doordash, do not order salt and pepper prawns. Prawns have heads and shells on them. Ugh. No photo on doordash. I usually order salt n pepper fish!

Under new owner, this place is not as crowded or noisy as cooking papa but the food is still authentic Canto. Parking is easy even on weekend. Tried seafood thick nice noodle and roast duck wonton soup noodle and both are spot with the right 鑊氣. Will try dishes next time.

We, a party of four local elderly seniors, arrived at 5:30 pm Wednesday 13 Oct. 2021. Plenty of close parking and were seated immediately. Dining room not very busy but Take Out was busy with people awaiting their orders. Place was clean and bright. We knew ahead of time that no liquor would be served and would have had wine and Mai Tai’s if available. However, a pot of hot tea was provided and kept refilled throughout our meal. Every item we ordered was, in our opinion, very good. We ordered a double Appetizer item which was followed with three major dishes- we forgot the Vegetable dish - even so, we had food left over that we took home. Cooking Cooking is not an upscale restaurant and does not pretend to be. Their prices are very fair for the quality and quantity of the food they serve. Keith, Santa Clara.

Amazing authentic cantonese food. Originally called "Cooking Papa". Not sure how to describe the experience. I have been here multiple times. It is Hong Kong style home style cooking with so much more. We ordered 8 different dishes (eggplant w/fish, sauteed peas sprout, spicy pork, roasted pork belly, stir fry (including lotus root, black fungus, chinese sausage, celery, snow peas, mushrooms) spicy deep fried fish, congee w/fish, egg and sprimp over chow fun and singapore style curried noodles. I still do not know which dish was my favourite. 100% recommend.

Probably the best Hong Kong style food in South Bay. It's a bit pricey but worth it

We wanted to try this place for a while and finally got a chance today! We ordered Plain Porridge, Fried Rice with vegetables and Chicken Chomein. The food was so good.

I've never actually eaten in. I always get takeout or delivery. But the food is always ready so quickly and everything is delicious and authentic. We love the lobster noodles, roast duck, and runny egg and shrimp over chow fun

The owner is very nice. I actually forgot my wallet when I picked up my take out. She told me I could have paid next time after I returned from picking up my wallet.

Hello, my newest review is diffenitly a 5 star rating, I've done many reviews, eaten many places, however, this place, Cooking Papa was a real winner, I had an opportunity to eat recently when my wife had been craving Thai food, and we ran into this place, I of course had the Peking duck with steamed buns and my wife had an incredible dish named Beef chow fun , I belive so, my dish was beyond fresh, duck was super tender and juicy , not at all over salted or old tasting, ill admit, best duck so far I've eaten, my wife's dish, would satisfy the most stubborn. Tender beef and thick noodles, ,please try, dont just read and want to try, go and do it...please like my reviews itll help me know yall like what I write..

Really good food and excellent services. But the place is too small and patrons talked loudly. Parking is a challenge. But I will go back again and again.

My favorite South Bay Chinese restaurant for fook kin fried rice and scrambled egg shrimp chow fun. Yummy!

braised tofu with basil, green bean and pretty much everything else here are really good, fast and decent price.

The portions are incredibly large, and I'm NOT complaining, because the food here is absolutely delightful. Fooking Fried Rice was flavorful, the rice perfectly matched the sauce, loaded with tons of seafood. The Salt & Pepper Pork Chops are thee BEST item here, and even though it's deep fried, it is not greasy or oily. Pork slivers in the Hot & Sour Soup added another rich layer of texture Helpful, cheerful staff made my dinner experience very enjoyable Definitely going back for more

First time here, and I very much enjoyed the experience! There's complementary tea and nuts to munch on if you dine in. The brisket noodles also came with a broth that gave the dish a refined deconstructed Chinese ramen vibe with a delicate flavour. Came in with mixed expectations. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, we said if there are any white people in here it's not going to be good. I was the only white guy. Ordered a couple of entrees from the lunch menu: braised beef with bitter melon and brisket in red curry. Phenomenal. The brisket is not American style brisket so there is some tendon and lots of fat. That's what made it so good. If you've never had bitter melon, it's got a lot of aroma to it and so it needs to be paired with the beef as a taste experience. The name probably keeps most white people away so that's how we knew it was good. 🤣🤘🏼

This was our first time visiting this Chinese restaurant. First impression was great. With a display of hanging roast duck and pork, immediately your eyes are treated with savory meats. Their quick serve dishes, usually includes BBQ meats are front and center behind a glass partitioned kitchen. The actual kitchen where they prep most of the dishes are behind what the customers can see. Those dishes definitely do not disappoint. The portions are substantial matching the steep pricing. We paid close to $80 for 3 dishes. In the end, they served us a warm red bean dessert for free. We ordered a BBQ sampler over rice to share family style. We also ordered Crispy Fried Fish & Pumpkin, and House Special Crispy Chow Mein. The food was delicious. I can't wait for us to return and try other dishes.

The dishes here are pretty good it lived up to expectations. They are not cheap, but the proportions and quality of the dishes makes it worth the price. Make sure you come with at least 3-4 people so you get to share and try different dishes as the proportions are meant for sharing.

Come hungry and with a group that likes to eat!! I was worried we ordered too much food but 3 adults and two children ate all of this! We started off with the West Lake Beef Soup, Chinese BBQ (consisting of Roast Duck, BBQ Pork and Roast Pork), Clams in a Black Bean Sauce, Snow Pea Leaves, Salt and Pepper Squid, and Singapore Rice Noodles. Though everything hit the spot, my favorite dish of the evening was the Salt and Pepper Squid which was perfectly seasoned with a light fry. All entrees were delicious and sizeable. The only downside to everything was that most entrees were on the pricier side -- ie. the plate of Snow Pea Leaves were $22.

Great food every time. The stir-fried rice noodles was so yummy!! I’m pleasantly surprised they have such a nice Hong Kong style lemon tea. This place is now our top favorite eatery.

I loved everything that we ordered. Shanghai dumpling, Beijing duck, sweet and sour chicken, and seafood fried rice. The atmosphere is very much like Hong Kong. I would visit here again.

Cantonese restaurant on Homestead Avenue that has a huge variety of specialty items and exotic dishes. This is not a regular Chinese restaurant that you find in the Bay Area because of their wide selection of dim sum and different specialty dishes. Service is fast but the place isn't exactly clean so minus 1 * for that.

I have visited this place several times. Food is pretty consistent. Had the opportunity to try several things on their menu. Like their mapo tofu and Roasted duck. String beans in spicy sauce was pretty good as well. Hong Kong Style pan fried noodle was very tasty. Worthwhile visiting this place.

Great Hong Kong food: Their salted fish chicken fried rice is a must try! Their egg puffs (which everyone loves) are really greasy and fried. I'm personally not a fan, but most of my friends are so I would recommend that too. Their wonton soup is pretty good (not amazing, but..) and their Mongolian beef is good - but comes with mostly vegetables and less meat. Their customer service IS SO TERRIBLE HERE. 4/5 times they've forgotten at least one of my orders and its hard to catch a server if they're really busy. But other than that, I would recommend this restaurant.

think Hong Kong street food. One of the best if not the best wonton noodle soup in the area. Changed from full service to more casual to try to keep costs down, but food taste and quality is still high for what they do. Great BBQ pork, have not tried their roast duck or roast port yet but if consistent with the wonton soup, should be good. Closed in middle of weekday on a Tue or Wed not sure but showed up with friends for lunch one weekday to find them closed. Not cheap, but not too expensive for quality of food. food prep reminds me of Hong Kong street corner food stalls when it used to be quick, cheap, and good.

Slightly pricier for Chinese food, but good quality and good portions. My favorite are the Chinese Egg Puffs (must order for your first time), claypot dishes, sizzling plate tofu, and fish soups! Can't forget the barbecue meats and dim sum! Awesome place for that Cantonese food fix! Stay away from the Mongolian Beef (too salty) and the Singaporean Chow Fun (watered down / slightly tasteless curry flavor). There will probably be a wait during peak lunch and dinner hours and the parking lot is a bit small, so just hope to get lucky! Takeout is also a good option as they back everything in nice containers that can be reused (black base and clear top) and the food can be ready in about 30-40 mins.

The quality of cooking papa is pretty persistent. Never have the feeling that "oh.... This place is not as good as before" chusui/duck/crispy pork are AWESOMEEE. I highly recommend the combo of the three above. Portuguese style seafood baked rice is also one of my favorite dish. :)

Great food. They actually have party trays that are great value for the monet Loved the egg rolls... the Mt.View location has a great paella if you feel like something less Chinese.

Service can be uneven, but we really like the food. Noodles are excellent. The standards, like Kung Pao Chicken, are fine. The duck is great. It can be loud when it is busy and parking can be an issue.

I really enjoy the food here. They make an awesome Peking duck and the egg tofu is fantastic. Try the deep fried eggplant and squash too. The dessert puffs are awesome. Food comes out reasonably fast, but trying to get the bill can be a chore unless you're aggressive. Parking is limited and the place could use some sound dampening because it's really loud when the restaurant is full.

Went here awhile back to take out snacks for my employees I got the egg puff dessert and some egg chow fun for them But the oil they fried the egg puffs had peanut flavor in it so some of my people had an allergic reaction. I will have to be more cautious next time at other places. I liked the egg puffs and it reminded me of Hong Kong. They are a Cantonese restaurant . I’ve been here before for lunch and liked the roast duck rice plate. Another time i had their poached chicken rice plate but the meat was dry although the ginger green onion sauce was very good. Parking is tough during lunchtime and there may be a small wait for a table.

Decent restaurant with solid food. It almost seems like a crossover between a fast food place and a sit down restaurant. The decor, although not bad, makes you feel like you're in a cafeteria. The servers are decent enough but nothing special. Good option if you're looking for something closer to traditional Chinese food than the Americanized versions.

It has recently changed to a semi-self-service operation. We order at the counter, pay at the counter, get a number tabletop sign, wait for food delivery at table, eat, and clean up after eating. Menu simplified so there is no complex dishes. I kind of like this Pandera Bread style eatery. We only had soup noodle and rice noodle. They are the same as before. Pretty good. ————— Now it’s a sit-down restaurant again called Cooking Cooking. Things are not very different from Cooking Papa era. They now use table cloth and the tables are a bit less cramped as before. Recommended still.

Hong Kong style cuisine. The price for each dish is about high teen or over $20. But the quality and quantity are maintained and not reduced after COVID. Service is adequate. We have come several times. The quality is consistent. Recommended.

Today was my first visit and I wasn't hungry, so I ordered wonton soup and fried rice, but next time I will order to main dish with my friends. The food was delicious and not too salty. I felt like I was in Hong Kong.

This is a good place to get Hong Kong style food. Portion size is pretty good and food quality is usually not bad. If you pay cash for take out they’ll give you a discount.

Ordered a half duck and a braised beef brisket. The duck was SO GOOD. Juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The braised brisket was a bit tougher and harder to chew. Flavor was good though.

Consistent good food with reasonable prices and generous portions. Recommend he fried eggplant and pumpkin.

When here must order all your BBQ items and Hainan chicken. Huge menu with lots to chose from. Menu also comes with picture which is very helpful. I also like it that they served Puerh tea instead of your regular jasmin tea.

Didn’t realize that this is no longer cooking papa. It is now cooking cooking. No wait on Sunday for lunch. Food was good. They have a large menu.

Recommend sauteed beef fillet with assorted mushrooms and sliced boneless fish porridge. The roasted duck is a little too fat.

It’s not what it used to be, a proper sit down restaurant. Now you order at the counter, find your own table, then they bring the food when ready. The roasted pork belly/duck still tasty and wonton soup not too bad. Would come back for a quick bite.

The egg chow fun was totally tasteless today, perhaps the cook forgot to add any salt or seasoning. The rest is good.

This location has changed several restaurants, but I haven't tried it since it changed to cooking Cooking . The food was surprisingly good, and although the price was a bit high, it was well worth it. pork neck with bitter melon $22 , salt egg yolk with fish & pumpkin $24.50 , salty fish with pork clay pot $24.50 all good! Especially the bitter melon, it is probably the best I have ever eaten, the cooking time is just right, the pork neck is very soft, but it is full of fragrance. The service is very warm and friendly! The tables might be too close together and it's easy to hear other people's conversations.

Went to Cooking Cooking again today for lunch with a friend and ordered a few dishes. The portions are generous and the service is excellent. As for the taste of the dishes, I would say that they are quite delicious but not particularly memorable.

My family wanted to try this place since we missed eating here when it was still Cooking Papa. The atmosphere was a typical Chinese restaurant with large tables of families enjoying dinner. We ordered the BBQ Delicacy Platter (2 choices of meat, we chose roasted duck and roasted pork belly), fried rice w/ diced chicken & salted fish, house special pan fried noodle, and assorted braised vegetables (not pictured since it was brought out to our table super late). They also served us red bean dessert soup to wrap up our meal. The portions were large and everything was flavorful. However, the fried rice was a little greasy and the roasted duck did not have much meat on it. The service was very straightforward and attentive. The only reason I docked one star is because they forgot one of our dishes and did not bring it out until we were already eating the red bean dessert. I understand it was an honest mistake but it did take us several tries with multiple servers to remind them that we were still missing a dish. Overall, it is not my first choice for authentic Chinese food but I am open to returning someday so I can try some of their other specials.

This place is no longer called cooking Papa. It's Papa Express. I only tried the dishes on the photo. Chicken wing. Though it says salt and pepper, I tasted the salt, not much the pepper, also they use curry powder to marinate the chicken wing. It's pretty crispy. The batter is good. Chow fun with sauce, beef and egg. You can taste the a good stir fry Chow fun (鑊氣) flavor is good. Got skill. Beef stew noodle soup. Good tender beef stew, good flavor soup, noodle is not bad. This place is cheaper than cooking Papa which I thought was too expensive. Though it operates like a fast food restaurant, the quality of good seems to be good. I give it a 4 stars for now and will try more in the future.

Coooking Papa in Santa Clara offers solid choices of Hong Kong style dishes. Food is good and flavorful. The service is typical of Chinese restaurant - be ready to wave your hand to get waiters’ attention. On the other hand, the bus staffs are pretty attentive in water and tea refills. I’ve been here a few times in last couple months and haven’t really had to wait for table.

A little pricey, but this place boasts fast service and a very large selection of Cantonese food, most of them pretty delicious. I always order lamb with leek, and it's a treat to order the crispy puffs for dessert if you have a big enough party to consume them.

The service wasn't particularly good (typical Chinese restaurant I suppose). The food was also disappointing. It wasn't bad, just wasn't particularly good. The HK style ice tea was good, that was about the only highlight of the meal. For reference, we got the chicken + mushroom clay pot rice (which was ok, not particularly flavorful like what I expected from a HK style cafe). BBQ duck and pork belly. The duck was pure fat and very little meat. Like literally it was skin and large chunks of fat... it was kind of disgusting. The pork belly was good, with a perfectly crispy skin. We also got fish rice noodle soup (fish ball, etc) that was ok, not too bad. We also got the mandarin style chili pork lo mein, that was a bit disappointing. It was just a huge plate of lo mein with very little sauce, and the sauce wasn't even that good.

Food is good especially Hong Kong style food. Service is fair when not busy. Difficult to get table during lunch. Parking is tight during peak hours otherwise they have Parking in front of the restaurant.

3.5 star food, 2 star service. Food is good but nothing stand out, price on the high end compared to similar taste places, only good thing is portion is good. Service is really slow and full of ignorance, need to wait and asked to get seated, 2nd round order asked twice and wait another 5mins for menu, check never came, need to go and get the check ourselves. Definitely need improvement.

The taste is okay but disappointingly realize their menu claimed Peking duck is not Peking duck. It costs $21 to get half duck full of bones that you can’t wrap. I just can get a normal roast duck with better quality and cheaper at ranch 99…

This place was great but recently they changed owners. The new style is an express place that serves in togo dishes. The new food is fine but the menu is quite small compared to before. I really miss the old style and the portions have shrunk too. Before we would get the bbq kean with all three portions but now it is similar to a bento box style. This is not the same restaurant before the shutdown the food is still fine but not the same as before.

The food here is fair, but not the most flavorful. It has a very casual and fun ambiance that tends to get loud. The service, while friendly isn't the most attentive--even for a Chinese restaurant. We were constantly needing to flag down servers.

Accidently went here when I had a reservation at a different restaurant. Had some free tea before realizing the mistake. Servers and cashier were unfriendly. There are also television monitors that play videos of how the food is prepared. While interesting for the first loop, continuously thinking about and seeing the conditions in which my meal would be made didn't sit that well with me. The tea was good though.

Service was good and very fast. Prices were fair-maybe a little on the high side for what it is. A couple of the dishes were great and the others were pretty bland.

Used to love this place since they always have perfect dishes to my taste with reasonable price and portions. However, the dishes we placed has missing some ingredients used to have inside the pot. And believe cooking time is not enough. Overall, i still like the place and hope to enjoy better dishes when restaurant time is not too busy for online orders. 🙃

Used to be a 4 or 5 star favorite of mine (for Hong Kong style Chinese food) but their menu has been reduced considerably. They remodeled recently so it's nicer and cleaner than before. I liked their old menu better - now it's pretty standard stuff that you can get at any Ranch 99 or whatnot. They also sold out of a lot of favorites by the time we got there (1245 on a Sat) so that was disappointing too.

Had been there a few times for take out. This time we ate in. Unfortunately, the dishes we ordered all were not good. They did seem to give quite a large volume, but salty, greasy. I think it's food has gone south!

This restaurant is now call Papa Express, and it's a different restaurant from Cooking Papa including the owner. The ordering format has changed too where you order at the counter, and the staff will bring the food out. I want to preface that my family loves Cooking Papa, and we have been going for years and went enough that some of the staff knew us. It's hard to find good and authentic Cantonese/Hong Kong style food for a good price in South Bay, and Cooking Papa used to hit all those marks. I once got off a flight from Hong Kong, and headed straight for Cooking Papa without batting an eye because the food quality was decent enough to compete with some places in HK. I sadly can't say the same about Papa Express... Tonight was our first time there, we got the BBQ pork and duck combo with rice, beef brisket noodles with beef bone broth, and added the T-bone with mushroom sauce with egg fried rice because the portion of the first two items were not enough food for two adults and a preschooler. The BBQ pork and duck was decent, but the portion is SMALL and served in a disposable divided container even though we dined in. The tender brisket and QQ egg noodles was sadly overwhelmed by the salty beef bone broth. The T-bone was a good size for the price, so if you like your meat cooked medium to medium well then you will like it. Overall, the food was meh, but quality is not as good as Cooking Papa based on the dishes I tried. I will probably go back at least one more time to try some of the other stir fry dishes, but I was not impressed with what I had tonight. Also, I noticed the restaurant served some dishes like chow fun were served in plastic to-go containers even when people ate at the restaurant which isn't environmentally friendly. I was sad that they don't serve hot tea any more which is so common at a Canto/HK BBQ restaurant. I'm hoping they will work out some kinks such as tuning their food quality because I want to keep going back to eat at a restaurant that tasted awesome for so many years. It might be time to start looking for a new Cantonese/Hong Kong BBQ restaurant to eat in South Bay. I will try to update in the future.

Honestly I like Foster city location. That's because the service and the food were really not goodd :(( The waiter didn't clarify what I order. The hainan chicken rice were different than the foster city location :(( parking were very small too

Not really a place you would want to bring your family or friends to eat out at or a value place where you can get decent Chinese food with good price. Their bean sprout dish is $21.95 and it is quite small in portion. The wonton and suimai noodle soup was underwhelming in terms of flavor and quality. The black pepper spare ribs were overly salted and the old oil taste was really coming out from some pieces.

The food was not exceptional but flavourful and typical Chinese chaise, strong umami flavours, oily and loaded with MSG and oyster sauce. The restaurant is small and the toilet is filthy. There is always a as it on this small restaurant but they are pretty quick in serving.

It's like Hong Kong cafe with street food. Food is tasty in general and service is efficient. Price is reasonable. Love the brisket dish, most of the noodle soup are pretty good. BBQ items are good here. The place get pretty loud with the hard surfaces and loud talking customers. The only gripe is parking is hard to come up as the lot is very small and street parking is hard to come by.

You can get better Chinese food at your local Ranch 99. Bbq pork, roasted duck, cream shrimp and prawns were all very bland. The broth tasted like something out of a can but the noodles had good texture. And if you come, prepare to have a yelling battle with all the other customers for the kitchen is connected with the dining area and the voices echo, I couldnt hear the person in front of me.

Not sure what the hype is about. Came here with my parents and the food was bland and the flavors were off. We've been to several cooking papas and the conclusions are all relatively the same. I do however enjoy the fried Chinese donuts but my parents thought they were a little sweeter than normal. Service is what you would expect in a Chinese restaurant

Large portions, food was hot. Chicken with black bean sauce: mostly onions and garlic, chicken was in awkward big pieces. Big pieces of whole garlic cloves, like they came from a jar. Hardly any black beans, therefore hardly any flavor. Singapore style noodles: seems like none of it was stirfried, nothing was browned. Strips of cabbage appeared raw. Generous portion of shrimp but no flavor or texture. Turn up temp on the wok!

The old menu was way better with much more selection. The price is about the same as before for dishes that carried over. But the catch is you now need to get your own drinks, clean up, and stuff like that. Looks like if we want the old cooking papa experience (which was much better) we have to drive to Mountain View. But... a drive to Mountain View is about the same as a drive to Milpitas which has many more Cantonese restaurants to choose from.

Prices shown on online menu are average $4.00 less than when they charge you on the bill. It is false advertisement. My four dishes based on online prices listed in their website was $80 but the bill came $96!! False advertisement! Watch your bill before you pay! The food, however, is all amazing especially the roasted pork belly!

Looks, smells and tastes like Chinese takeout but priced like upscale place. Food for two cost around fifty bucks. For the quality of food (sauteed beef was 80% beans, 20% chewy beef), value was poor to say the least. Plenty of other places with better value. Oh, and service was bad like other reviews.

**Update** 3/22/18 Quality of the food has dropped significantly. It's average or sometimes not even that. Not sure if we'll return. **** Been back many times and the food is still consistently very, very good. Cantonese style dishes. Try dining during the early part of the week; otherwise, be prepared for long wait times for a table. I'm told the food is authentic. I couldn't say, but the food is delicious. We'll be back for more.

Ordered BBQ plate, mapo tofu, spring rolls, Mongolian beef. Chicken in bbq plate was ice cold, as well as the inside of the fried spring rolls were freezing too. Roast duck had lots of small bones. Mapo tofu was good but could have been more flavorful. Mongolian beef was good, big portion & lots of veggies with it. Really wanted to like this place! Staff were friendly & food was ready quickly.

went there after they re-opened. paid $30+ for a bowl of wonton soup & a bbq combo over rice. food is definitely not worth the price. the soup of the wonton looked like sewer water, sorry to say; taste of wonton was too heavy with salt or msg. how unfortunate this is cos i liked the food before they changed hands, even though their service sucked.

Update: This is now Cooking Papa Express. It has a new menu with a lot less offerings. You order at counter and you bus your own table. I ordered chicken hot plate and added fried rice for extra dollar. The chicken was rubbery and the rice was dry and flavorless. We also got a chicken noodle soup. The soup tasted like the plain water it was boiled in. We remember the congee used to be pretty good but all types of congee were not available for some reason. This isnt the cooking papa we used to frequent. The effort to reduce cost also reduced food quality and service. I bet they will no longer be around for another year. It is really too bad.

Service is not up to expectations! Take 40 min to get a fried noodles. Asked a few times and just said wait a little longer. Noodles eventually came but the Sauce is very watery and not good taste. This restaurant used to be good but now downhill signicantly.

This review is based on several observations.I hate to write about it but I have to in hope that they wouldn't do it again . Their roast duck is among the best ,but their chefs are the most dishonest people I have ever known.I don't mind to pay $25 for the whole roast duck,but I don't like to be cheated. I asked my husband to get me the whole roast duck on his way home today.When he got home, I opened the container and showed it to him.There were 4 small pieces of breast meat and the rest was skin and fat from other ducks uniformly tucked under legs and thigh pieces.I hope they weren't reselling scrapes from other customers.In any case,that was a last roast duck for me.

GREAT FOOD. service is a negative...very negative. The host let others who did not have reservations or their name on the list in front. We waited 10 min for water then another 10 for our food order to be taken. The food is good and I do not want to be THAT person to give it one star but i want to let others know so that they can be prepared to wait and wait. Good luck

Used to be good a couple years ago. Feels like quality has been declining for a while. This has culminated in them doing am Express version of this resturuant entering the fast casual space and apperantly leaning into the falling quality. Though still charging sit down prices. I would be shocked if any of the food I ate tongiht was not microwaved, including the duck! I wont be returning to this location (hopefully the others aren't this bad). Oh well time to find a new duck place =/

They don't have my favorite Chinese donut anymore and the chow ho fun came out burnt. It left such a bad taste in my mouth. The only pro is that the food came out like within 5 minutes of ordering.

I can't believe they call this Peking duck! This is a ROAST DUCK WITH BONES. A Peking duck dish is supposed to be a thin cut piece of duck WITHOUT bone, wrapped in a thin piece of wrap paper, accompanied by cucumber strips. Okay, bun instead of wrap, I get it, fusion feel. But how could you serve duck with bones? Wonton soup noodle was not fresh. Soggy noodles and shrimps weren't "bouncy" It's expensive here! If you want authentic Chinese food, go visit Fashion Wok or Asia Village!

A week ago, we had a lunch at Cooking Cooking. I ordered seafood with black bean sauce. The taste was all baking soda smell. I tried it was terrible. So I decided to bring home and rinsed it 3 times of water. It came out that smell still there. Please let the cook know about it.

I ordered this place on doordash and got a hot meal. I actually ordered the beef brisket and shrimp wonton lo mein(22.95$), but to my surprise instead of brisket I was given huge cuts of beef fat. Everything was soaked in grease and was very tasteless. At least the shrimp wontons were good, but for the price I paid I will not be returning.
