Excellent bar in the city center. Informal but with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Spritz accompanied by a generous plate. We didn't add an excellent cheese and cold cuts platter. Quick and helpful staff. Very fair prices.
We happened to arrive in Santa Maria Maggiore during the Fuori di Zucca festival and had the pleasure of tasting the excellent pumpkin risotto (precisely ☺️) cooked by Mrs. Marisa, a true culinary experience. We had seconds watching her cook in the square with extraordinary skill and passion. Congratulations!
A bar I've been frequenting for years, and my family and I always enjoy returning. The quality of the products is average, but considering their fair prices, the selection is excellent and the value is unbeatable. I really appreciate that the prices remain the same even on special occasions, unlike many other places. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home. Note: I can't rate the rooms/accommodation because I only used the bar service. Honorable mention: their Campari Spritz (not Aperol) is truly unique and special, and for that alone it's worth the visit and the 10 stars!

Very well located in the center of this pretty little village. An aperitif platter with each Spritz, I'd never seen anything like that. Generous in the quantities of the dishes, we left this establishment with full stomachs for an extremely reasonable price.
In the square of the magnificent Santa Maria Maggiore, you'll find this splendid bar, entirely run by women (if I'm not mistaken). We enjoyed an excellent breakfast with an incredible view and an incredibly fair price for its location. I don't want to encourage the management to raise prices, but I do want to commend them for not taking advantage of their privileged location. Excellent. Go there.

A recommended stop for the foliage train, located in the center of the beautiful Santa Maria Maggiore, it's an unpretentious place, with a selection of top-quality cured meats and cheeses!
Iconic bar in Santa Maria Maggiore, located at the entrance to the main square. Recommended for a simple aperitivo with well-fortified drinks. A double tour is recommended to enjoy the experience. It gets very crowded in high season. P.S. Go on an empty stomach.
A nice bar, in the center of Santa Maria Maggiore, in the main square. I stopped in for a quick aperitivo. The service is good, but the aperitivo is a bit lacking, but for an unpretentious break, it's fine.
It has a prime location right in the Piazza di Santa Maria Maggiore. The service is good, quite fast despite the crowds. However, the wine is served in a plastic cup, which is hard to see (but I didn't criticize this serious mistake too much because the staff deserves more than 5 stars). The price is average, like an aperitivo in Milan, or a little less.

Very friendly service! Only place around that allows dogs. Simple food for very democratic prices.
On Monday 11th August, with friends, we ordered coffee at the table and when the lady brought us the drinks, my coffee was served to me in a cup without a handle, broken who knows when..... it's the first time something like this has happened to me 😡😡
After ordering 20 minutes ago, they tell me the croissants I ordered are sold out. Terrible service. Never again. If they serve tables before yours, I believe they'll run out.
We went in to get something hot. Without even giving ourselves time to all sit down, we had to order immediately. After a few moments, our order arrived: cold coffees, almost frozen, I'd say, and hot tea without tea, as we were only served a cup of hot water. When we asked for a tea bag, we were brought a small plate with the tea bag, but without the protective wrapping. The restrooms had no facilities to dry our hands. I don't think there's anything else to add.
