I had a really great experience at Fia Restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, stylish, and very welcoming. The interior design and lighting created a cozy but upscale vibe, which made it a perfect place for a relaxing dinner. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the entire meal. They checked on us regularly without being intrusive, and everything was served smoothly and on time. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Every dish looked thoughtfully plated, and the flavors were well balanced. The steak was cooked perfectly and was tender and juicy with a great char. The sides paired nicely with the main dish, and you could really tell the ingredients were fresh and high quality. Portion sizes were also satisfying, which made the meal feel worth it. Another thing I really appreciated was the overall dining experience. Sometimes restaurants focus only on the food, but here the service, atmosphere, and presentation all came together nicely. It felt like a place where you can enjoy a nice date night, celebrate a special occasion, or simply have a memorable dinner with friends. Overall, Fia Restaurant delivered a fantastic experience. Great food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality dining experience.

This is easily one of my go to spots on the Westside. From the moment we arrived, everything flowed effortlessly. The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The atmosphere feels like stepping into a beautifully styled home, relaxed yet refined at the same time. If the weather allows, the outdoor patio is a wonderful choice with cozy lighting and heaters that create a comfortable setting. The food was imaginative and full of flavor, and the wine and cocktail selection was impressive. A perfect place to enjoy a memorable evening with friends or family.

One of my favorite restaurant in Santa Monica. You walk in off Wilshire thinking you’re about to have a nice dinner, and suddenly — boom — you’re in a secret courtyard under twinkling lights, where everyone looks like they just got back from the Amalfi Coast. Start with a cocktail — they’re crisp, creative, and perfectly tuned to that “it’s Friday, I deserve this” mood - even on a Tuesday. The spicy arrabbiata pasta is a standout: rich, fiery, and unapologetically bold. It hits that sweet spot between comfort food and chef’s finesse — the kind of dish that makes conversation pause mid-sentence. My friends had the ribeye and they ate still digesting it as it was a huge Fia’s vegetarian options aren’t an afterthought — they’re headliners. From roasted cauliflower that actually has personality to their seasonal salads bursting with herbs and citrus, it’s proof you don’t need meat to have a good time here. There’s valet if you’re feeling fancy (and honestly, it’s worth it on weekends), or decent street parking if you’re patient and circle twice. Either way, once you step through the gate, you’ll forget you’re in Santa Monica traffic territory. Pro tip: go early, linger long, and pretend you’re writing your next novel or closing a movie deal. Everyone else here probably is.

Great food and atmosphere! Outside is the place to be. Private rooms available for small parties too. Drinks are fantastic. Recommend for both brunch and dinner!

Fia is truly special. I entrusted Fia to coordinate a gender reveal for me and my husband and they absolutely crushed it. I emailed them the results, and they took care of the rest. On arrival they told us they’d reserved a romantic table for us, and upon seating we got alcohol free champagne! The food was amazing as always. The pastry chef came out and said it was her first gender reveal cake and was so excited. The cake came out and it was a mystery on the outside until we sliced in!!!! The waiter offered to film our reaction and was a gem the whole evening. The best part was how it felt like the whole staff was in on it and actually cared! It was beyond sweet and absolutely flawless. A forever memory. Thank you fia!

This is the perfect place for weekend brunch in Santa Monica! It has a small alleyway type entrance out front, but once going through...you emerge into a GORGEOUS courtyard space where most of the seating is located. It was such a relaxing and tranquil vibe for a lovely Saturday brunch!! Another thing about these brunch spots that offer the bottomless drinks - food can often be a hit or miss. Well, I can assure you that it definitely hits at Fia!! Both of the food options we selected off of the entree options for the bottomless brunch were so delicious and beautifully presented! The Shrimp & Grits plate was very generously portioned, had incredible flavor, and a really good heat that wasn't overpowering to the rest of it. The Breakfast Burger with a Wagyu beef patty was also high quality and a great size! We both were left stuffed and very pleased!! I also appreciated the friendly and attentive here - the waiter never kept us waiting for any bottomless drinks or water refills!! He was always coming by to top us off and asking if we wanted any other drinks like margaritas for the bottomless! This is much appreciated when often places seem to make it very hard to get refills for these sorts of brunches! Thank you for the lovely brunch, Fia! We'll certainly return in the future, and I recommend you go at some point as well!

Amazing experience for a Michelin Star restaurant. Our server Curtis was helpful and made our experience so enjoyable. I loved how they were thoughtful in the order in which the food was served. Edit: Went again here for valentines, server was Jacqueline. Amazing service as usual and food was just as delicious. Main take away was the off menu item, tomahawk steak. The steak was delicious even without the sauce.

Finally! Why did it take me so long to try Fia? It is delicious! Sam took great care of us and the food was fantastic! I look forward to returning so that we can have their Chopped Salad and bone-in Chicken Parm. I’m craving these dishes!

I went to Fia at my hotel’s suggestion and it did not disappoint! I tried several dishes (and brought some home!) and all were creative and delicious! My server (and the hostess) was amazing and attentive. The atmosphere is gorgeous with the trees and lights. Very happy I chose this as one of the few places to dine during my short trip to LA!

Their courtyard alone should earn them a 5 star rating. Great cocktails and service.

The perfect place for a weekend girls brunch!!! Unlimited memos a plus a professional full bar with amazing liquor options. The food is PHENOMENAL! My favorite are the shrimp and grits and the omelette. Make sure to make a reservation! Street Parking shouldn’t be that hard. I would definitely come back and this is highly recommended!

Great spot for a date night or any special dinner in general. Make a reservation online to be seated outdoors because the ambiance in the outdoor patio was amazing!! The lights, heat lamps, and trees outdoors made it feel special. Briefly went inside to use the bathroom -- decent amount of tables in the dining room but looked pretty dark indoors. As a party of 6 we tried ~11 items and were stuffed by the end of the meal. After ordering, the waiter proposed a split, separating the dishes into 3 courses. Yellowtail and Ahi Tuna - both apps were light and fresh. The yuzu and chilis were so good with the sauces. Garlic Bread - i don't mind paying for bread if it's good and fresh, and this hit the mark! Squid Ink Calamari - cooked perfectly and looks so cool with the dark squid ink color Tagliatelle Tortellini Pasta - excellent and cooked to perfection! both pastas were great and had amazing flavor Brussel Sprouts - surprisingly very large portion and we struggled to finish the bowl of veg. Tastes great though! King Oyster Mushrooms - can skip this, they looked awesome but unfortunately tasted a bit undercooked? Gochujang Cauliflower - taste fine but was pretty heavy. We struggled to finish this too Chicken Parm - very generous portion. Some may think it's too salty but I thought it was delicious. Truffle Filet Steak - cooked perfectly and gone too soon. One of the pricier things on the menu at $79 but not too bad as we were able to split it Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert but hope to try it next time.

We went Saturday morning and it was really quiet. The mimosas kept coming and they refill it once they see it gets low. The service was really friendly. We didn’t really touch the pastry basket but the coffee cake was good. We ordered the shrimp and grits and the eggs benedict. Both were really good but the benedicts are better than the shrimp and grits. It was a wonderful experience.

First time to Fia today. Where to start? Food was amazing. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere is vibrant. The layout and decor is worth the trip alone. Such a great place for a date or dinner with friends. We ordered the garlic bread to start, calamari for my daughter, lobster pasta for my wife and the short rib for myself. The calamari is excellent. It does come out looking like it's burnt but I can assure you it's fantastic. My daughter had a hard time visually with it but she ended up eating most of it. .y wife devoured her lobster pasta & my short rib was so tender and all of the vegetables were scrumptious. The chocolate dome was a great experience for my daughters. Although they didn't eat any due to the coffee they enjoyed the show. We had a wonderful first experience here and I can't wait to come back with friends and more family.

This place is a destination! The entire place is beautiful, but the patio is like a mini vacation from life's schlep. The service is friendly, perfectly attentive but more intrusive. I would have given 5* for the food- actually most of it was-except for the truffle pasta. As the star of the show with the price tag to go with it, it was very good but fell short of OMG. The flavor was a bit flat, and I think the texture of the thick, stubby pasta prevented it from absorbing the truffle flavor. This is such a subjective thing you may feel different! We also ordered the tuna sashimi and meatball appetizers - stellar!

Fia is by far my favorite restaurant in Santa Monica. The garden outside vibe after you walk through this little walkway is beautiful- you’ll find yourself under tea lights next to cozy fires and strong cocktails. 🍹 The food is fantastic- it never fails to- beware not the biggest portions but the quality is bar none. Highly recommend the salmon cone apps, any pasta on the menu. Service is good but you might have to flag down your serve lr on very busy nights. A must see in Santa Monica at least once.

9/10. Loved the food and the atmosphere, the service was almost perfect. We were looking for a place to eat and did some digging on the internet to find Fia. It was a bit chilly that night so they did offer us a blanket which was incredibly nice. The cob salad was amazing, now we asked for it without the salami but they forgot to take it out and we realized it when it was a little too late hence the lower service rating, but they took it off the bill as an apology which did help the case but it still left a bad taste with my partner as someone who doesn’t eat pork. The swordfish and truffle pasta were phenomenal and everything else was perfect. Definitely recommend for a date night or a night out with friends.

Fabulous experience! Great ambience/vibe. Erica was our server and she was great! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and just created a good feeling! We loved everything we had, but the salmon cones, squash blossoms and swordfish were standouts. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

The team here is EXCEPTIONAL. Went here for a brunch celebrating a birthday and the ambiance, service, and pancakes were fantastic. If you’re looking for a great brunch spot with the option for bottomless mimosas and spectacular food, I’d highly recommend. I rarely write food/restaurant reviews, but felt compelled to with this restaurant. I’m very happy with our experience, we’ll definitely be returning!!

Came here for a date night. In summary the food was good, the main course ducks was okay for the price, but the service was so-so. I think we just did not get lucky with the service. It felt very rushed and we had our waitress change 3 or 4 times. I learned about specials by overhearing other waiters going through them in detail, while ours just quickly ran through the list without tasty details. We had tune arancini for appetizer and that was 5/5! Truffle pasta was also 5/5 Duck was good, but at a price of 100$ it was little expensive for it. So 4/5 The desert was pretty good and the presentation was amazing! 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Service, i hope it will be better next time. I think just came too early and were not that lucky with the table. Would we come back? Probably, but this is a special occasion place with +$350 bill for two.

went here last night for my friend’s birthday dinner and enjoyed it. Would have been a solid five stars, but I’ve gotta put my foot down on this new trend of ordering everything at once, totally ridiculous. Especially since we ended up waiting 15 to 20 minutes in between courses to get our stake lol. Jenna, our server, though, was great and put in some bread and tuna appetizers for us while we figured out what to order.

I really wanted to like Fia, but the reality is that there's better versions of everything they do for a better price throughout west LA. Our steak was mostly fat unfortunately, which left me longing for American Beauty. The pastas we got were pretty bland which left me thinking about Uovo or Felix, and the apps were nothing to write home about either unfortunately. The ambience is great, our service was great, but I don't have much of a reason to go back here.

Disappointed and Misled on Easter Brunch We made a reservation at Fia in Santa Monica through OpenTable for their advertised Easter Garden Brunch at $67, which was supposed to include pastries, an entrée, and bottomless drinks. However, when we arrived, we were told that this offer was no longer available. The staff mentioned that many others had made the same reservation, but the restaurant “didn’t want to bother” calling to let anyone know ahead of time. Instead, we were forced into a different Easter brunch option priced at $79, which only included pastries and an entrée — no bottomless drinks. To add that back in, it was an extra $24 and only had the option for mimosas no rose or margaritas like the brunch we had reserved for. We went last year for Easter brunch and the restaurant was much busier so it’s hard to understand the limited menu and menu cuts. If we had known this in advance, we absolutely would have canceled and gone elsewhere. There were plenty of amazing brunch options in LA that day, and it felt incredibly frustrating to be misled with no acknowledgment or effort from the restaurant to make it right. We left feeling like we had been scammed, and it’s disappointing that a restaurant with such a reputation would handle a holiday brunch this way. If you’re thinking of dining here, especially for a special occasion, think twice.
