Awesome food, awesome energy! Really enjoyed this place!

One of my favorite spots in Santa Monica.Very comfortable ambiance with large sunny patio. Food is very tasty and they have super great quality of the coffee. My favorite dish is Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken. They do offer a different variety of healthy dishes and smoothies (check out Very Berry). Service is outstanding and very attentive. Highly recommended.

Great food and staff, eggs were perfect and the breakfast protein shakes also really tasty. Highly recommend.

Great spot for a healthy bite in the heart of Santa Monica. It was my first time there and I had to kill some time and ordered a matcha and acai bowl while I did a little work. Both were great and the other food I saw leave the kitchen looked good as well. The really great part about this place was the super friendly staff and what I assumed were the owners. They were super welcoming and it seemed like a lot of the patrons were regulars and well known to the staff. It's nice to see a community like that in such a busy part of town. It shows the quality of a place when the residents embrace it and it becomes part of the fabric of a place. I hope to come back again soon!

I couldn't take a picture of the food because I absolutely devoured it. The owner knows what he is doing. The outside furniture is very clean because they put it away each day. They have pastries, mint water, hot teas, coffee and lattes, great food, smoothies, and fresh ingredients. The food presentation is very well done too. Definitely my favorite place around. Wish is was open longer!

Desserts with a crazy flavor, excellent service and the food and coffee meet your expectations and the delicious flavor, I am definitely happy every time I visit them 10 out of 10

Like Renee Zellweger said to Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire, "You had me at hello," KAFE K had me at the first bite! Their food is uniquely delicious! The seasonings immediately arrest your taste buds. I took KAFE K menus to work at the nearby courthouse, brought breakfast to couple co-workers and after the first bite they were raving about how delicious the food is telling me they are going there. Owner Nino is very nice as well as the workers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KAFE K to everyone. They have a great setup, worth the trip, worth the meal! Don't doubt, GO EAT!!! Best coffee in santa monica hands down. They have the freshest coffee and very clean shop. Christian helped me and exceeded in customer service, he was very intentive and super knowledgeable about the food and coffee aswell as gave me insights on local things to do in the area! If your in santa monica this is a must stop.

We dined in here. The food and the coffee were excellent. The prices were fairly reasonable. The location of the restaurant was perfect to go exploring afterwards. The pier was a short walk away with plenty of things to do nearby.

I love Kafe K, the owners are special and create the quality one experiences there. I go a few times a week as it is where I like to begin my day. Soups are terrific and many of the dishes served are too. Kafe K has a European quality I love.

This truly demonstrates the love and patience each team member has for their role. Coming from out of town, I found the friendliness here to be a refreshing change. Without a doubt, it’s the best cafe I’ve been too in a very long time. They also offer vegan options like the yummy avocado toast, which was perfect for me. Overall, it’s a solid 10 across the board. Thank you to everyone at Kafe K! I’ll definitely stop by again the next time I’m in town. Plus, they're dog-friendly and even provide water and food for your furry friends. Decided to visit for breakfast on 02nd July 2025. The venue was selected at random - we didn’t know what to expect. It was sunny and warm, so we decided to sit outside and we were greeted by Nino. Such a charming and polite man with a foreign accent, so I asked him where he was from . Lovely Serbia ! I opted for avocado toast, a black coffee and a smoothie made of berries soya milk and banana. My daughter opted for açai bowl The food quality was just off the hook The berry smoothie was delicious The avocado toast was served on two slices of bread smashed avocado and some Chris very tasty couldn’t fault it. I then ordered the açai bowl too as I had was impressed from the taste from My Daughter‘s bowl. It’s a very full bowl and after my smoothie, berry and avocado toast I had definitely ordered way too much but I finished the entire bowl because it was delicious . The açai bowl was laced with granola, banana fresh berries and was like heaven. Super healthy. I could come here every morning for breakfast and not be bored Nino is an excellent host a very gentleman and delivered service with a smile . The food quality matched the very high standard of service and I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for breakfast, you’ve gotta come to Kafe K ! Thank you Nino !

I am not sure if I liked more the coffee (espresso is ridiculously delicious), the breakfast (we had the eggs, avocado toast and granola bowl), or the atmosphere. Everyone (both guests and people working) is super friendly, smiling and chilled. One of the best LA - Santa Monica finds!

It was a very nice and local coffe. A bit pricey but it is worth it. A local Taxi driver recommended me the coffe Shop and I thank him for That. The only negative aspect, is that, we had to wait a bit.

I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk, and a smoked salmon bagel. Took one star off because the bagel was too salty, and the salad lacked flavor. But latte was great and service was great. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. I saw a bunch of outlets, one table even provided a lightning cable to charge your iPhone. Free WiFi, great place to work.

Very friendly and great food. Fresh grapefruit juice and a great thin crust pizza with burrata and prosciutto. Update: wanted to go the next day at 8am again. Don’t go there before 8.30am, as no one with the ability to cook or make coffee will show up before. Quite disappointing and lower rating. Thx

I ordered an iced soy milk, vanilla latte, and the espresso tasted fine, but similar to a homemade coffee. The staff was really kind and offered to remake my drink since I forgot to ask for dairy free. The serving and paying situation was confusing because I ordered the counter and sat outside, but didn’t have a server. I wasn’t sure how to pay— I ended up paying at the counter inside. They have vegan options for food and everything looked delicious. This spot isn’t in my neighborhood so I probably won’t come here again but it’s an easy caffeine pitstop if you’re local.

Quiche was good. Clean establishment. But my ham and cheese sandwich was just that: couple thin slices of ham and some melted cheese, on too-thick bread so that it felt I was eating mostly bread. Hubby got toast with his meal and had to request butter and jam-- which cost an additional $1 for EACH--what? Owner/server was a very pleasant man, but it seemed to take forever to get his attention (for that butter and jam, then coffee) during a not-busy time. Sadly, as nice as he was, we probably won't return.

Whilst this location may not be the single worst purveyor of sandwiches that I have encountered, they are certainly competitive… I don’t expect in the US to be presented with British quality sad sandwiches but these people have achieved that level of sadness. I would suggest joy should be sort elsewhere.

It was very light on the cream cheese but a nice portion of salmon. It came with a beautiful side salad with a vinaigrette dressing but after I ate the first lovely bites, I saw all the lettuce underneath was rotten. Gross. We also asked for water and we’re only given one partially filled cup with no ice. Our total was $35. I can’t recommend this place. Rotten veg is a no from me.

I can’t speak to the quality of their coffee, but the matcha was absolutely horrible! It was a pale green warm milk. An iced matcha should be a cold vibrant green not whatever pathetic excuse that they serve in a cup. Very disappointed!!!!
