Best environment & place to enjoy some delicious Mexican food 😋 bathroom are clean & there booth tables are very comfortable 👌. There staff and management are great. Your greeted as you enter and leave. There margarita you gotta at least try once yummy as well. Chips & salsa are served as you get seated. They got my 5 star 🌟 they have shirts for sale we recently purchased 2 and wear them proudly. We hope you enjoy as much as we do every time
Although I've been living out of state for 3 years, whenever I come out to visit my family here in Santa Paula - this place is my go-to for drinks and/or dinner. It's where I had my bridal shower! Luckily, last week my husband and I were able to roll in and have a jumbo original lime margarita and nachos during happy hour. And what a great happy hour it was! Lime margarita is still one of the best in the west. The atmosphere is always so lively and inviting. Service is great. And food never disappoints. Highly recommend!
Delicious, fun, clean, friendly, moneys worth. Great food and amazing service.
Food was great, (we had the Chili Verde and Chili Rellenos). Interesting decor. Good service. Draft beer overpriced only minor negative.

We ate lunch with friends as usual. My husband & i usually get a combination dinner & take half take home. We both enjoy the enchiladas either cheese or chicken, both are tasty. There are two different types of tacos both great with choices of ground beef, shredded beef or chicken. The Rics tacos are a small extra charge but comes with guacamole. The salsa is super tasty too. All kinds of alcohol beverages & orchard which is a rice/cinnamon drink. Located in Santa Paula we don't mind the drive from our home.
Best authentic chilli relleno and cheese enchiladas. The sauce makes the dish! Real good refried beans and rice. My aunt had real fried taco shell tacos... you can't get these anywhere. This restaurant has been here for 50 years! My whole family has been coming here since the late 1970s and I can't wait to eat here when I'm in town.
We often go as a group after a meeting on Saturdays. They are very accommodating and friendly. Our groups favorite place.
Absolutely amazing authentic mexican restaurant in Santa Paul. Great service, great prices and great atmosphere. We had the chicken tortilla soup and tacos gor taco Tuesday. Our waitress was very attentive and kept the drink refills flowing! Best Mexican restaurant in town!
My cousin and I stopped in for brunch and were greeted by Lulu. She was extraordinary in her service. Genuinely happy and I never saw her without the warmest smile. The food was delicious, as always. But we will definitely be back because of Lulu.
The salsa that is served with the chips has a very unique flavor and blend of the ingredients. Very good! When my friend and I were ready to leave we had to wait for a different waitress to walk by our table to ask for go cups so we could take our drinks with us. Our food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Will always be a favorite of mine. Growing up in Santa Paula all special events were at La Cabana and our very special Grandma Susan absolutely adores the family and has always been life Long friends of theirs. Miss the tiny croutons and mint ball container that used to sit on the front counter but will take some enchiladas and a margarita any time any day!
A great Mexican restaurant in Santa Paula! I've been here previously during the week and it was usually quiet and empty. On a whim we came last Friday night and what a crowd! We did have to wait for about 15 minutes before we were seated so we had a chance to look at the menu but once seated our order was taken right away. We ordered their famous deep fried burrito. DELICIOUS. 🌯 Filled with rice, beans and large chunks of beef covered in a red sauce, guacamole and sour cream with a side of shredded lettuce with a bit of sauce and cheese on top. To drink I got a water and my husband a lemonade. The service was great, we were attended to often, got a couple refills of chip and their house salsa had just the right amount of kick. Definitely would recommend, next time I will try their Margaritas, I saw several being taken to a table nearby and they were topped with whipped cream? Looked cool! TL;DR Great food, great service, very busy Friday nights.
My daughter and I have been going there since we moved to SantaPaula 7 years ago. Best abondigas, Spanish omelet, enchiladas, etc! We have never been disappointed. Really yummy Cucumber/jalapeno margs. Marta (the manager) is more than wonderful. Salsa is extremely good. Chips are always warm and fresh. This has been our go to for fresh food, love and family atmosphere. We always feel very welcome. They are extremely accommodating for my wheelchair.

Great food. Been going over 40 years. Prices have been getting to too high. Used to be packed all the time went for lunch twice recently, handful of people. Ordered a flour taco the shell tasted like grease, shredded beef had chunks of fat. waited at least 10 minutes for bill after asking for it. Then waited 13 minutes more had to ask to pick it up so I could get my change got there about 4pm
Great place, food it's ok but doesn't have the mexican flavor !!!!
Average experience. I gave them 4 stars for service as they did a pretty good job for a bridal party rehearsal dinner of 15 people, although the restaurant wasn't crowded. Only got two orders wrong. Lots of different food ordered, everyone thought their dinner was ok. Restaurant was clean, typical decor.
I haven't been here in so long. Came with a friend who lives in town. We got seated right away. Waitress brought chips and salsa and we ordered our drinks. She came back with our drinks asked us if we were ready to order and told her that we just needed a few minutes. Never saw her again! We kept looking for her but she never passed by our table. So another waitress took our order, our food came out very quickly. Everything was fine, we enjoyed our food. Then sat there waiting and waiting for the check. Finally we just got up and walked to the cashier. She had to go hunt for our ticket. I don't feel they were exceptionally busy for not getting good service and no one bothered to explain why she disappeared. Therefore the tip reflected the poor service.

Honestly this place is average and more of a Tex-Mex style restraunt. The staff was awesome just for an older lady with short hair with a very rude attitude. If your reading my review this place is like an El Torito or Acapulco nothing authentic. The taco they provide is like one from Taco Bell not a taco dorado. I am Mexican- American and have learned to except these type of restraunts because of the customer base they have and are providing jobs. If you want the real deal it ain't here.

Saddest crispy beef taco experience of my life. For 9 dollars you can get 2 tacos that lack substance and flavor.
