First time visiting Queretaro and prior to coming here 3 days ago, we did our research to where to go and eat as well as places to visit. After walking for 4 miles, we decided to eat an early dinner and tried out Carranza 50 as we planned. We ordered the pork shank and fried cauliflower with cheese toppings. I hardly eat pork but this dish is amazing and the cauliflower is excellent! This is the best pork dish I ever had, so tasty!😋And the price we pay was even better! $30 american dollars for the dishes, 2 drinks and including tips for the waiter! By the way, the staff are friendly which made our dining experience even worthy. I would definitely come back and try out their other dishes and I highly recommend this place to anyone who have never been here.

The food was excellent! The service was very very good. All of the Staffing people very interested in taking care of us and made sure we had a wonderful evening. Theview from the rooftop was wonderful! We spent over a thousand pesos but less than $140 US dollars... we had several glasses of Prosecco and wine and wonderful wonderful food.

We found Carranza 50 when looking up a cocktail bar, but our hunger lead us to this dining experience. The food was delicious, and let me tell you that the price of a prime steak was astounding to me. Salsas were hot, drinks were amazing, and the food! All put together it was a great dining experience, especially for that sexy date or a good group to enjoy.

This was probably the best meal that I've had in Mexico, certainly the best pork. I was stuffing my face for 20mins before I even noticed the tortillas. 😆 The sunset was gorgeous and the attentive staff and delicious lemon margaritas had me stuck to my seat for hours. I've spoken to some local foodies and not one has a bad word to say about the food here. Highly recommended from me too! Well done team, I will be back to take advantage of that International wine list and amazing local food 🙏🏼 👏🏼

We had delicious Ceasar salad & dessert ice cream. The steak quality could be better but we enjoyed it. Nice outdoor dinning and excellent service.

This was a nice restaurant in Querétaro downtown. However I think this place is over marketed, some meals are not that really tasty (entries) tacos de calamar ok, but cevjche del bar not good at all. Main dishes: lengua al pipian (just gourmet and excellent) and chamorro al pastor just good. Service is very good, and experience might be good and as expected.

Nice view of the Centro Sur. Good service, not great. Just had drinks, maybe that's why. People often forget that drinks are usually more expensive than food and because you're not ordering a meal they don't go above and beyond with the attention. Anyway, nice atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, friednly staff, and great specialty cocktails. The classic cocktails weren't as impressive and not very strong, so I recommend sticking to the limited-edition drinks!

A nice terrace with over-the-top service that was just annoying, paired with mediocre food that made the place not worth it and overhyped. Making a reservation was a bit too convoluted, as there wasn’t a dedicated website to do so. The link on their homepage leads to a WhatsApp chat with the hostess, but even that wasn’t the most straightforward, as they asked one too many questions for just a simple reservation. When we got there, we were given a corner table overlooking the city. Our server handed us menus, and at first seemed helpful, but in the end came off as more of a salesperson. He talked extensively about the menu when we were already overwhelmed and did more harm than good, as he kept pushing us to order alcoholic drinks. We ordered just sparkling water and were again recommended pricier items on the menu, making it feel like a sales pitch. We had our orders taken and enjoyed the nice breeze of the evening. We waited 40 minutes, which was just unnecessary as the restaurant was barely a quarter full. It seemed excessive, and in the end, not worth it, as the raviolis that I ordered were mediocre and nothing special despite the nice presentation of the dish. The only pro of the place was the terrace and the nice view of the city, but that’s it. The unnecessary wait, sales-oriented server, and mediocrity of the dishes—aside from the elevated prices for average quality—make it not worth a visit. The place, although nice, is just a terrace dressed up in an upscale setting, but nothing else about it justifies a visit. Even the WC was complicated to reach, as there was just one too many steps to get there. Overall, it is a very overrated place and not worth it.
