Taco casa is a great place to eat like everywhere else they suffer from finding good workers the food is great usually hot fresh..

They never skimp on anything. The only thing I wish they would do is offer smaller portions for women and children. Smallertaco llights, nachos, deluxe or super nachos.

This particular facility is in the Maverick Travel Center. Always great service and food. Country atmosphere in tje store.

Love their nachos biggest tray of nachos you can get anyway and taste better than Taco Bell

I go to this location for lunch fairly often, today my card was declined and I told her to just take the food off and charge me for the soda. They comped my burrito and told me to have a better day. Hands down the best people you could ask to have working there.

Whenever I’m passing through this area, I will always make sure to stop and get lunch or dinner… Good food, good prices, excellent service. Also, the truck parking in the back makes it easy to go in and out.

10/10 absolutely will be returning! Got a dozen tacos, 4 chili burgers, and 5 orders of the casa delites. 1st of all, it took me longer to order the food than it did for them to make it! Huge relief during a long road trip! And the service was awesome! With the dozen tacos, we were given a free gallon of sweet tea and cups of ice. Not to mention she made SURE we had all sauces and napkins we could ever need. If you want cheap food, super fast, and great service, this is the place to go!

Updated: This venue continues to be a staple for my family and I. Always a fantastic experience no matter if they are busy or not. The staff always has a smile and provides a very professional interaction. The Store Manager, Lauren, is always engaged with her staff and plugged into what her customers are looking for. She can always be found creating an inclusive and energetic work atmosphere which in turn, the staff pays it forward to the droves of customers that frequent this establishment. This is a fast food restaurant but it is definitely cut from a different cloth thanks to the superb staff.

Stopped in as usual while traveling north to visit family on Christmas Eve. For the first time in a while, i was greeted with superior customer service. It's refreshing to have it back. Both the young man who took my order and the one who prepared it were pleasant, polite, cheerful, friendly, and professional - despite having to work Christmas Eve night. Not only that but of course the order was prepared perfectly. It truly is a breath of fresh air to have the respectful service back at this (my favorite) Taco Casa. Appreciate it! Older review (3 stars): We stop at this Taco Casa quite often when traveling, but the most recent visit we were met with some loud, impatient, hickey lady at the drive thru. Our order was correct and yummy, as it typically is at any Taco Casa. But somebody needs to settle this lady down before she gives an unsuspecting soul an anxiety attack.

Every time we go hunting, we stop at taco casa on the way home. It's a great day food joint to get a quick meal to end the trip. If you like a lot, and I mean A LOT, of cheese then this is the place. Lol

Cashier was a little rude and grumpy, but the person making the food and bringing the tray to the counter was very friendly and pleasant.

Stopped in for a quick bite and the portions did not disappoint—the super burrito and super taco were both massive. The service was fast, so I was back on the road in no time. Only downside was the taco shell was pretty stale. Good spot if you're starving and in a hurry, but stick to the burrito. 18-wheeler parking is available

It's Taco casa. It's better than Taco Bell for the price because you get more for your money but I have been noticing that we've been getting a little less in the tacos. Used to have a packed taco but lately there is barely any lettuce. Our girl that took our order didn't smile and really needed to show some personality. I get it, you're working somewhere you may not want to be at but still try to smile. 😁

Great stop on the way to or from Dallas. Drive through is open, it also has indoor seating and is, of course, pretty cheap. Also this place isn’t just for travelers—plenty of folks who live in the area also seem to enjoy it. We went on a Sunday around lunch and it was absolutely packed with folks wearing their Sunday best. All in all, not a bad option if you’re in the area!

I make a stop to at least one taco casa on my travels and after stopping here for my 3rd time I believe, it is fast with your orders( which is nice after ordering a dozen and a half tacos). I like to walk in and go under the name "Voldemort" but the added benefit of a drive through is coolio for those extra fast stops

You get what you pay for here. I had a super burrito, and despite the claim that it had meat, lettuce, sour cream, and tomatoes, I pretty much just saw beans in mine. However, since the burrito is only about $4, that's not surprising. This is a good place if you want cheap and fast over taste.

Food was not prepared properly. Ordered a burrito, but each ingredient was clumped together and not spread out along the length of the burrito making it a half meat burrito and half cheese burrito.

When I walked up to the counter to order, the cashier was on the phone and acted as if I was interrupting her. But overall the food was delicious.

Stopped on my long drive home to get a quick bite ordered only a taco lite and I sat in line with only ONE car in front of me 20 minutes! I could not believe how long that took. May have been a bad day idk I only drove thru only time I been there but I won't be stopping again I know. Food was typical good taco casa.

Usually I get very good service. Today was fairly. Nice lady at the register and the one hollering the name when it was ready, but why can't ya'll look at the screen?? I pacifically said no lettuce on my soft tacos. So far 3 out of 4 has lettuce. I hope ya'll didn't put sauce on my burritos. Read the screens people. Please. Not hard to do!

I use to love stopping here everytime I came threw to get nachos or the chili burgers but I DONT anymore started getting the right food and everything I ordered but now not as much meat getting put on whatever I order so i wont be going there anymore

Don't go through the drive thru window. They have gotten my order wrong the last three times I've gone there.

People like franchises because the are consistent.That is not the case with the Santos, TX location. The prices are higher and offerings less. No six pack or 12 pack deals. Prob not coming back to this location.

Light weighted the chili on 4 chili burgers and Super Burrito was lightweighted on the meat. Wife not happy.Not the way to treat regulars..No problem. Plenty of other Taco Shacks.

Ok hear me out I’ve gone here twice and I will never return. I walk in and the cashier is on her phone completely ignoring that I’m standing there waiting to order. Then a teen no younger than my daughter (15) comes out and takes my order apologizing for the wait. I also saw teens cooking my food which I wouldn’t mind but the fact the adults working weren’t even paying attention. My second time I went was for my son and his girlfriend they wanted the Nachos and 2 bean burritos. A teen girl takes my order and goes and makes my food while every adult on work is over in the corner talking shit about people and even rolled their eyes at me when I asked for sauce. I’ve worked in fast food restaurants for a long time and not once have I ever had so much bad service from adults and seen teens working so hard. I would like to say that the food was better the second time. And would love to thank the two teens (one a boy and shirt and the other a short curly haired girl) for the great service the kindness they gave me. That’s all. Thxs

DISRESPECTFUL. My Version. I walk up and ordered Two soft tacos . With NO cheese , and Add tomatoes . And one medium drink . Her version. Two soft tacos With NO lettuce And add tomatoes . I told her that was the wrong order . And before I could correct her she TOLD me I said NO LETTUCE ! I then had to tell her a THIRD TIME , That was the wrong order and I did not say anything about the friggin lettuce. And Tried to repeat my order once again while this young lady kept interrupting me ! So After giving my order for a Forth time I handed her money to pay my bill . When I held out my hand for the change . She slammed it on the counter and walked off in a huff. This is just a prime example of the disrespectful young people in today's society . This taco casa charges more then the other taco Casas... they ring up super tacos incorrectly so it charges nearly a dollar more... look at the receipt. I ordered a super taco with a soft shell. So it should have been 3.09.... also my son got several black olives in his burrito after ordering no black olives...thank fully he isn't allergic he just doesn't like them. It was just an all around poor experience.

Very rude staff! Seemed a bit racist seeing that I was the only black person in there. Gave me fake smiles and very smart remarks. Spent over 20 minutes in drive thru and then going inside. Seeing people playing and some young kids taking the food out back and bringing 2 other kids back in with the same unfinished burrito. Finding the drive thru employee, playing with the headset and not answering. Did not feel safe taking food home watching 4 young employees looking at us and laughing while making our food. Many other trips have been terribly long waits. I won't be back

Ordered taco salad and super nachos. The meat had a bad taste and there was way to much cheese on the nachos. The beans were very dry. Worst Taco Casa ! Will never eat there again.

I went to the Santa location where I ordered my 2 year old son a baby bean burrito he took his second bite of this burrito and choked on a whole kernel of corn which the restaurant does not serve corn! I had to dig this piece out of his throat When I spoke to the manager about it she acted like it wasn’t a problem at all and did not do anything about it! I’m just thankful I was paying attention to my kids because this could’ve gone way worse than what it was the manager up there had no sympathy and did not care at all about what had happened she just kept saying that they don’t serve corn then why was there corn in my son’s burrito make it make sense
