What a HUGE improvement in this shopping center!!!!!! New landscaping including palm trees, new pavement, towers, freshly painted buildings! Combine all that with the new Target, plenty of parking, a great view, and a convenient location right off the freeway - you've got a winner. Starbucks always has friendly, prompt service. Lots of glass windows so it feels bigger and more open. I understand they will be moving to a bigger space in the same center this summer, which will make it even better. Update: the new location construction is underway! Excited to see the increased space and drive thru! New location is open! Wide open, classy feel inside with a drive through.

Great Starbucks location. Clean, cozy, and always friendly staff. Drinks are made consistently well, and the service is fast. A nice place to stop for coffee or relax for a few minutes.

I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never had a bad experience, plus the people working the drive through are always friendly. The people complaining definitely just do too much with their drinks
Nice and clean location. Very convenient from the shopping center as well as highway. Staff was very friendly. Large indoor seating area! There’s usual Starbucks food and drinks options. There’s plenty of parking available or if you like there’s drivethru available as well. The food and drink tasted pretty good and were ready really quick.
Cafe with great views and a dedicated space to work. I also had a meeting while I was there in the cafe without too much background noise. Not giving 5 stars as the staff didn't let us use restroom when we were there after waiting for more than 20 mins.
Nice and clean location. Very convenient from the shopping center as well as highway. Staff was very friendly. Large indoor seating area! There’s usual Starbucks food and drinks options. There’s plenty of parking available or if you like there’s drivethru available as well. The food and drink tasted pretty good and were ready really quick.

I love Starbucks! You can drive about anywhere in the country, and th drinks are consistent! Made with real flavors.. not chocolate milk!! 🤔 The worst thing about them all, is their hands off approach. By god.. if I have to swipe my card and enter tip info, yer not gettin' one!! And worse yet.. their default screen doesn't give you the "No Tip" option.. you have to hunt around to enter "$0.00". Consistent good coffee is great... but service wins every time. To their credit... it seems to be every Starbucks... not just this one. So, something must be broken at corporate??

Rude employees. The drink was made wrong, it happens, we let them know it was made with passion tea not green tea, they were rude and acted annoyed when we asked them to remake it.

Unfortunately this location seems to struggle keeping the place clean,that wall has been filthy for over 3 years now and why they didn’t refresh it during Covid lockdowns ? answer would be , bad ownership probably, boss is probably stressed managing all the employees. But please spend some money and class up the joint

Review for Starbucks – Camino Alto / Donahue & 101 Location 📍 110 Donahue St, Sausalito, CA 94965 🧾 Receipt #: 724037 | Order Time: July 11, 2025, 2:12 PM 💵 Total: $10.50 | Store #: 9324-257804 ☕️ Items: Iced Passion Tango Tea Lemonade & Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher This was hands down one of the most disappointing Starbucks experiences I’ve had. What should’ve been a quick, simple stop turned into a frustrating and unprofessional encounter — beginning in the drive-thru and continuing inside. Brandon, the employee at the window, rushed my pregnant wife and me through the order. I wasn’t given a chance to look at the menu or think through what I wanted. I even told him I wanted my tea sweetened, but he clearly didn’t hear or acknowledge it — just moved us along like we were a burden. His demeanor was short and dismissive, and my wife, feeling unwelcome, decided not to order any food at all. Because my order wasn’t right, I went inside to get it fixed. Jazzy greeted me — she was more neutral, but still didn’t acknowledge the issue meaningfully. Instead, she called Brandon back over. Rather than listen, he cut me off, repeatedly asked “what’s wrong?” without actually giving me space to respond, and carried the same disrespectful tone from before. At this point, Mar quietly stepped in and later apologized for Brandon’s behavior — which I appreciated. She was also the only person willing to provide Brandon’s name and the name of the general manager when I asked. The other two staff members appeared completely checked out — frankly, they seemed high or utterly lost in their own world. Not one of them attempted to de-escalate or fix a simple issue. And ironically, moments later, we went to Panda Express nearby, where my wife finally got food. The drive-thru there uses AI voice ordering — and it was a smoother, clearer, more respectful interaction than the one we just had with a human being at Starbucks. My wife even joked that she felt more respected by a robot than by Brandon. When a customer has to leave the drive-thru, come inside, and argue just to remake a drink, something is fundamentally broken. Starbucks charges premium prices — the least we expect is basic courtesy, attentiveness, and professionalism. This location failed at all three. Starbucks corporate: This store needs intervention. — A paying customer who expects better, and deserves it.

They intentionally play music really loud here to deter customers from staying very long. This is my go to spot before catching my bus in the morning. The music is so loud it's even distracting while wearing over the ear headphones. Not a relaxing, peaceful environment like a coffee shop should be. Poor management at this location

The male cashier was polite and helpful, but the woman making the drinks was extremely rude. She refused to provide the bathroom code until after I completed my purchase, despite there already being a line at the register. While using the restroom, the motion-sensor light turned off, leaving the bathroom completely pitch black. I had been inside for less than five minutes. I waved my arms repeatedly while still on the toilet to try to activate the sensor, but the lights did not turn back on. They only came back on once I exited the stall and walked toward the door, forcing me to go back to flush and wash my hands. This is a serious safety hazard. A dark bathroom poses a significant risk, especially for customers with disabilities, mobility issues, or visual impairments. Combined with the rude interaction, this made for a very uncomfortable and concerning experience.
Since they installed the new coffee machine (2-3 weeks, I think), firstly, the wait time has increased exponentially (I order plain black coffee; before, it took less time than the payment processing time - 30-40 seconds). Secondly, the quality of the coffee is inconsistent - once it was normal, 3 times it was almost like water, I had to pour it on the ground and go Peet's. I will gladly correct the review in the future.
Wow. Went through the drive through to pick up my wife’s English Breakfast with 1/2 cold Almond milk and my Pikes peak. Thinking all is well we leave for the Muir wood Forrest. By the time we get there my wife takes her first sip to find out she did not have tea but coffee. This made her very disappointed and started her day off not on the right foot. Be cautious of this Starbucks. Make sure you get what you asked for because they are easily distracted. By the way when we arrived we only noticed that no one was in the drive thru and only a customer or two was in the building. So not busy. And as we pulled up they asked us to wait for a minute. Kinda weird as they were serving no one. Guess that should have been a clue for us. We went back after we visited the forest and they did make it right but no sorry, nothing. Customer service you get a 0!
Charged me and gave me a vente when I asked for a grande, handed me an extremely hot cup and then had to ask for a sleeve. (Do you want people to burn themselves???). Coffee and food isn't as good as it used to be- feel like I could have squeezed the oil out of the muffin. I wouldn't bother coming here again and this place might have put me off of Starbucks forever. Also- music too loud, environment too sterile, robots behind the counter. Starbucks used to be enjoyable and fun.

The staff is a mixed bag of some very nice ppl but the weekends “sundays” the staff looks like there all hung over from the night before. Unfriendly and sometimes seem to be purposely slow in gettin your order. Not sure if this is a manager issue or just the lack of good people wanting to work in this store. But I’m at the point where I’ll drive a little further just to avoid a lousy start to my day waiting 25 minutes to get a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Hopefully Starbucks actually reads these reviews and gets their act together.
