Even though I'm not a fan of modern pastry shops and cafes, this one is really nice. The products are good, and the macchiato with cocoa is very nicely presented. The cups are very cute.

It’s a chain limited to the region of Liguria and I’ve been to its branches in Sestri, Chiavari and the main one in Genoa Also sells coffee beans, various blends whole or ground. Has a wide range of confectionery, mainly artisan so pricey. Prices for coffee are in line with bars across the city - though Bocchia’s coffee is consistently good

Pastry shop with bar, coffee shop. Really nice place, with a pleasant atmosphere, located in the main square of Sestri Levante. Good welcome. Friendliness and helpfulness in the service. Good products. Excellent breakfast. Honest prices. I had a good time. Recommended. Must try.

When we're in Sestri, we always get coffee at the Bocchia roastery. We love being pampered. Friendly staff. Very good croissants - you can try different biscuits. On this occasion, I bought two packs of biscuits. Highly recommended. :)

Excellent coffee in the center of Sestri. It was a pleasure to savor the delicious, bitter taste of the coffee, from the kindness of the staff to the attentive service itself (including the saucer, cup, and so on). The idea of providing a mini dessert to enjoy with or after the coffee is excellent. I would have liked to have a small shot of water in my mouth to further appreciate the coffee. Recommended!

Cortesia gentilezza ottimi prodotti. Anche se è stato rifatto prima dell'estate rimane una istituzione. Non solo vende ottimo caffè sfuso in diverse miscele per accontentare tutti i gusti ma anche un ottimo caffè decaffeinato il migliore che abbia trovato sfuso macinato al momento da usare con la moka. Mi hanno detto degli amici che anche le loro capsule sono buonissime. Hanno poi caramelle cioccolatini biscotti e qualche tavolino per gustarsi in pace un caffè e un tea. Anche le carrozzine dei disabili entrano tranquillamente

Capuccino doppio was very good, the orange juice was great and Croissant with cheese and ham was also very good.

Un locale con un ottimo potenziale, cibo di qualità e con un rapporto q/p accettabile per la località, peccato però per il servizio (bancone e tavoli) INESISTENTE. Capisco il periodo, ma non è possibile che sia così lento tanto da dimenticarsi di servire, sparecchiare o far pagare. Da rivedere.

Locale molto carino, sicuramente più dei titolari e del personale! Andata più volte negli anni, vengo sempre via con l’amaro in bocca ! ! Trovo ci sia poca accoglienza! Capisco che non sia facile lavorare sempre a contatto con tanta gente, ma la cortesia è il minimo! E un po’ di gentilezza non costa niente! Peccato!

A well-maintained café that invites you in and offers excellent coffee, but unfortunately, the staff is rude to customers. My wife and I happened to come in at 12:25 this morning, and once we were seated at a table, when we asked for a coffee and a shaken drink, the barista who took our order looked annoyed, stating that they would be closing in five minutes. At this point, realizing the barista's unkind attitude, I think the owner intervened, telling us to take our time while we consumed our drinks, as the staff was still busy closing. Too bad that in the meantime, the baristas, in addition to lowering the bar's shutters, leaving us to consume at our tables under artificial light, were also sweeping the floor to clean as if there were no customers left inside. We're not Ligurian, but we come from Milan because we have a holiday home, like many Milanese who bring a lot of money to Sestri Levante and Liguria in general all year round. Now, I wonder how it's possible to close a café in the historic center of Sestri Levante in the middle of summer at 12:30 PM and treat customers/tourists in such an inhospitable and rude manner. Unfortunately, this way of treating tourists in general by Ligurians is not good for Italian tourism, but I've resigned myself to the fact that Ligurians are made that way. Perhaps they'll realize this when one day there are fewer and fewer tourists, including those from Milan.

The coffee is one of the best in Sestri, but unfortunately I don't like the service, so I've changed bars. A few years ago, the kindness and savoir faire of the counter staff were commendable and set Bocchia apart from other bars. Now the staff has changed, and the atmosphere isn't what it used to be. I occasionally go to Bocchia Chiavari, and there you can still breathe the same old Bocchia atmosphere that makes it preferable to the dozens of other identical bars.

Breve storia triste. Domenica pomeriggio, sul tardi, ma con locale ancora pienamente operativo, entro per ordinare due caffè, che avrei portato in autonomia nei tavolini posti al di fuori. Nessun saluto, nessun buongiorno, nessun "desidera?". Alla mia ordinazione i piattini vengono lanciati sul bancone (stesso trattamento riservato ai miei vicini), stessa sorte tocca ai cucchiaini. Dopo aver preparato, tra mille sbuffi, i due marocchini, chiedo di poterli portare fuori. La cameriera palesemente scocciata mi dice di no altrimenti "li avrei fatti cadere". Punto primo: nessuno mi ha chiesto dove li avrei consumati. Punto secondo: per quanto ne sa potrei fare la cameriera e saper portare due bicchieri al di fuori del locale. Ad ogni modo una sua gentile collega si è offerta di portarmeli, anche perchè la tentazione di andare via era forte. Da ligure sono sempre un po' infastidita dalle facili battute sulla nostra presunta poca accoglienza, ma a volte hanno proprio ragione. Peccato perchè il caffè indubbiamente buono e si trova ottima scelti di prodotti, come nelle vecchie torrefazioni.

Caffè buono e locale rinnovato, ma brioche decongelate rinsecchite terribili, personale completamente disorganizzato se il locale presenta più clienti contemporaneamente...Non c'è una suddivisione dei ruoli efficace e si aspetta 10 minuti per un caffè e altri 10 minuti per pagarlo. In caso di affollamento al bancone un addetto, sui soli tre presenti, sparisce e va sistemare le caramelle in maniera del tutto inutile e inopportuna. Non ci tornerò mai più.
