Lovely terrace, great staff, highly recommend
We just happened upon this wonderful tapas restaurant and loved it! The oxtail was amazing. The shrimp tortilla was delicious! And the scrumptious dessert (something like a really fluffy waffle with ice cream) is not to be missed. The owner was so personable and the service was great! Highly recommend!!
We saw 3.7 rating and were doubting if to eat here, but because all other places were too full, we gave this spot a chance and we were not wrong! Food was amazing 👌 and also I appreciate that place looked very clean!
In whole Sevilla, this is one of the few restaurants that has taken the effort to put the vegetarian dishes separately on the menu. The owner and his wife are very helpful. They picked it up that we wanted to speak in spanish and they helped with that too. The service is great. Don't forget to tip them!
No one in the restaurant but we sat down and had a lovely time chatting to the owner and the food was superb 😍
Really can't understand all the bad reviews! Is this some kind of vendetta going on? We've been in Seville for two weeks and it's one of the best places we've tried. All the food was delicious and the recommendations were great. My son only likes patatas braves, and the ones here are his special request for our last meal here, so we'll be going back for sure.
Absolutely! Here's an enhanced version of your recommendation: --- I finally decided to visit this restaurant after passing by several times and noticing it was always bustling with customers. From the moment we sat down, the staff's attentiveness stood out. They ensured we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal. The food recommendations were spot on, and the personal favorite dessert suggestion was a delightful treat. This place has earned my highest recommendation – don’t miss out on an incredible dining experience!

Beautiful tapas and drinks with a really friendly atmosphere. We had the local red with Padron peppers, pork, patatas bravas and salad. A delightful lunch!
Good experience, we had a quick lunch finding this place passing by chance in the area. I start by saying that we had a good time and by reading the reviews I did want to understand why so much wickedness. The staff, especially the owner, is friendly and very kind. The menu is basic, but nothing different from those in the area. I had ham and it satisfied me a lot, also we ate, salad and salmon, dessert and coffee. If they took better care of the environment and presentation of the dishes, it would get more stars of course.

Had lunch here. It was good but expensive compared to every other place we have been in Seville. Not memorable but ok
Truly, utterly and comprehensively awful. Pork tough, chips undercooked (how do you do that?), squid rings so tough they wouldn’t look intimidated at a Kray Twins wedding! I’d like to say, it was c…
We walked into this restaurant on our 2nd night in Seville and now that we have been here for 10 days and had some amazing food, service and atmosphere it's clear that this restaurant charges way too much relative to other restaurants and is therefore a tourist trap. Avoid if you can. We were not given an itemised bill and were suspicious at the time but didn't want to be rude to ask. There are so many other well priced lovely and often fine dining restaurants in the town for much less cost, better atmosphere and better food.
Took half an hour between drink order and coming back for food order. Got offended we didn't order food (as we didnt want to wait another 30 mins) and overcharged us for drinks. Should spend more time working on his restaurant than being hostile and replying to poor reviews. Ate at a much better place around the corner instead. Avoid!!!
204 euro for 1 dish of paella (6 people to share a dish), with 6 beers and 1 plate of tapas. Not the best plate and the best taste! I guess we should take 2plates different to get enough food!
A lot of bad things service-wise happened, among things mentioned by others here. Funniest were the OMG Patatas (fries, some avocados pieces, two fried eggs (one almost raw), and 6 grilled small shrimptails) for €29. Should be illegal. The menu even explicitly said ”12 shrimps with fries etc”. The owner then came with 6 more shrimps after I had to call this out 😂 then he added an ice cream to the bill for €9 even though we did not order that. Luckily I called that out when I read on his device and asked what that was… what a joke. However, location is very good! Also, €17 for a regular size shrimp and squash tortilla. With only 3 shrimp in it… we split it three and I didn’t even get a shrimp. It tasted ok though! Must be a shrimp shortage but they should adjust the price accordingly 😂
My drink order was taken relatively quickly however no one bothered to take my food order afterwards. I was the only customer in the restaurant and was waiting for over 20 minutes. Eventually I went inside to pay my bill and leave. No quality of food was worth that wait especially since I was there only customer at the time. I had a much better experience at a restaurant slightly up the road. Edit: The photos are not the best quality since they are screenshots from a video but it was definitely El Colmaito as you can see the same outdoor area as other review photos and I left this review by searching the name of the restaurant that was on the door.
Couldn’t recommend I’m afraid and had a similar experience to the previous reviewers. I really wished that I had checked the reviews before we ate there.Food was very poor. Calamari was tasteless and the burrata poor. Service was fine but it’s the only time in Seville that we were charged for bread and service on the bill . The most expensive and worst lunch we had in Seville . We were also charged for a lemonade that we didn’t get but didn’t realise it till we were gone . Shame as location was good
Avoid! Too bad we have seen the rating after we had lunch. Service-wise its OK, but the food is well below average. A 20 euro beef entrecôte took about 20 minutes of cutting, I was just too hungry to leave it. The seafood paella was the worst I have ever had in Spain. A glass had a lipstick and another came with broken edge. Finally they charged us for the more expensive wine, just 2 euro and we did bot make fuss about it, but still its a sign of how things work here.
